Oh yea, shower drain had some white chunks in the drain for two days. But I can live with that. Breakfast was great, except for the incredibly slow coffee machine. But like I said, I’ll very likely stay here again. Location is perfect!

A sparkling clean room with comfortable bedding and lots of pillows. Due to our schedule we requested and were granted an extended check out. Breakfast had lots of options and was very tasty.

The hotel is situated approximately 150 feet from an 8 Lane Freeway not a great place if you’re a light sleeper even with earplugs I had phoned the hotel before booking and they assured me it was quiet inside and then they refused to refund my money for the remainder of my stay so I can move somewhere else so all in all not very happy with the experience

Breakfast was very tasty. Negaitives: Everything seemed clean but when my husband stepped out of bed in the morning, his feet landed on clipped finger or toe nails. That was a little gross. I guess they don't vacuum every day. I thought this place was unique because when I booked, no mention was made of an additional charge for parking. However, at checkout there was an additional "destination fee" and a "fee" that totaled about $10. I was told this covered the amenities (e.g. parking, pool, etc.). Why aren't amenities park of the room rate. These hotel practices strike me as a bit deceptive. Initially no luggage carrier was available when we checked in. I mentioned this and within minutes 2 were available. Should I have to ask?

We stayed in room three thirty and the air conditioner was extremely loud.Which woke us up a lot during the night. I did not like the $150 deposit you have to give. It takes 3 to 4 days to get back. Stayed here because it was close to family in the area.

However the staff member that they put in charge of the front desk is horrible and condescending to guest. She was very unhelpful when we had a problem and advised us to take care of the issue ourselves."We did" Than there were the men coming into the hotel that were not guess and leaving an hour later and they would stop by the front desk and talk to the lady "if that's what she is". She acted and looked like something out of nightmare on elm street. P.S. more than one other guess commented on "it" and wasn't happy that "it" was the face of the front desk.

The next night sat we went to dinner and the door front was locked me and 3 kids had hands full couldn't get to my key my son ran into the sliding door cause it didn't open she stood there for a few minutes and wouldn't open door then a nice guy came behind us and opened it she said sorry didn't see you when in fact she did as she look when my sons head hit the window she is very disrespectful and does not deserve to work at a front desk I will be filling a ADA complaint for violating my daughters disability and calling the health department as she is spreading something to people and should not be at work in that condition dealing with customers She was extremely rude and I talked to the morning lady Allison 3x and asked to speak to a gm or manager When I checked out they wouldn't give me a print out cause I paid by Expedia even though $150 was charged by them I have staked at multiple Expedia booked properties and never have I had this kind of experience horrible customer service The breakfast even free is not good Freezing Cold pool not enough towels and they guard them along with toilet paper the lights in room too locked

I went to the pool one evening. The pool area could have used some attention, dirty towels were left out, which is the guest being lazy but the towels were so small, like hand towels and very thin. There was one last one I used. I live staying here, so convenient for the Mayo clinic, been coming here for years.

Felt everything was just right. Clean facility and comfortable room. Love the soaps in the shower and sink area were in dispensable containers. Even the sink was slanted and water drained very well and didn’t pool up. Woke up and couldn’t wait to enjoy free breakfast and they grounded the coffee beans. Excellent price for the room. That is what I like, a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price and I got it.

Registration was easy, but zero personalities. Pleasant and did their job. On the evening of May 5th, there was a gentleman working the front desk that was awesome!! He was extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you! It had been a long day at the Mayo clinic and he was very much appreciated. Understand, but missed not having coffee. Had to get dressed for my morning coffee.

I made reservations for a handicap accessible room but hotels.com canceled my reservation inexplicably and I had to take a regular room. My wheelchair barely fit in the narrow bathroom with no grab bars. I ended up with bruised knuckles trying to take care of basic bodily functions

Air conditioner unit in the room was unlike any other comparable hotel room A/c. It was extremely loud . Also the freeway noise was bothersome. The hotel itself is clean and the breakfast selection is good.

We had appointments at Mayo Clinic and were able to access the back roads with the help of the staff to get there. The room was large, furniture was comfortable and the lighting was excellent. We spent a lot of time in the room and did not notice if it was super clean or not........but since I can usually tell at a glance, it most likely was. Nothing popped out at us as being dirty. Breakfast was far better than most places and there was something for everyone but maybe protein for a Vegan. We slept ok, beds are an issue for us but neither one of us was totally sore the next morning and that is a good thing. The bathroom was easy to use but the light there was dependent on you putting your room card into a slot before that light would come on. I gave the site an 8 because the room was not quiet and the AC made life difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. There was noise from the room next door and every shower, flush of the toilet, and if they did not catch their door, our wall shook. I am sure that was same for them from our side though. The freeway noise was enough to keep us up, and it never really died down. The building was built after features were available to cut that type of noise completely, but it was not used. The biggest issue with the room was the AC. It blew right over the bed and when it shut off, it warmed up a full three degrees warmer than set temperature. So, while it was cooling down to one degree below the set temp, it blew over us and we froze. Then suddenly we were roasting because there was no air moving and we were fully covered to keep the blowing air off of us. A ceiling fan would have been amazing! When a room is stuffy, you need it cooler. If we cooled it down to where it turned on before we roasted, we froze for a long time. We just could not get comfortable. We did not notice this until bedtime as the couch and the lounge chair were out of the direct hit line. We did not rest well and with the stress we were under needed the rest.

The one thing keeping me from awarding 5 stars for our one-night stay... Since I'd forgotten my bathing suit coverup, I wrapped a bath towel around me to go to the hot tub. I figured there'd be pool towels there, so I wouldn't wet my bath towel. There were no pool towels, so my spouse went in search of some. They did bring some, but they were relatively tiny; smaller than the bath towels - about the size of kitchen towels. After the hot tub, I used the little, hand-towel-sized 'pool towel'. It soaked quickly, and I still wanted a dry one to wrap around myself to make it back to the room in my wet suit (without using my bath towel). I went to get another, and spouse asked me to get one for them. But there was one one left (how many did they bring; there was only a handful of people in the area?) Although I'm small, I couldn't even get the little towel fully around my bottom half for the walk back. Other than the 'pool' towels, I really liked this accommodation, and would definitely book it again.

Location, plenty of parking, guest rooms are serviced daily. The complimentary continetal breakfast offers a variety of choices for everyone. The food isfreshly prepared daily and as a bonus coffee is available 24/7. The cater is super friendly, anthe dining area is monitored by a "wait person" who wet wipes the tables as the guest departs.

3 friends needed basic accommodations where we could comfortably share a room for one night. We were pleased to find a room with 2 beds plus sleeper sofa. Our room and the hotel were modern and clean it was quiet, and the included breakfast had good options, presented well. Very satisfied with our stay - it was just what we needed.

This is the second stay at this hotel within the past two weeks. My first rating was 5 stars, but I'll have to downgrade to 3 for the latest stay. Don't get a room on the west side of the hotel. It faces the local freeway and you hear all the traffic noise. Also the A/C unit sounded like a propeller airplane whenever it cycled resulting in a mostly sleepless nite.

Overall, a good stay; clean property and room, however the room was nice but a bit narrow, and the elevator lobbies were tight to maneuver. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was consistently good.

Breakfast was one of the best that I have encountered in my travels. Bathtub needs an anti-slip coating to prevent falls. Very slippery bottom with soapy water. Need immediate attention. Overall, a very clean and well appointed hotel. I'd certainaly recommend it, actually, highly recommend it!

The ice machines worked. The gym is simple but sufficed for me to get some workouts in and was incredibly clean! The laundry can be charged to your room and the front desk will give you tokens to use. I recommend bringing your own pods and dryer sheets rather than purchase from the hotel! JD (or JP?) and Erin were overly helpful! I'll stay again!

The instructions on the blue card needs to be updated especially about how to login to wi-fi, as thete was no access code to input. Have to say it was strange having to leave a room key in the slot on the wall to have power. We assumed that was to save energy by not having lights on whenever you leave the room. Breakfast had great variety and offerings. Coffee was EXCELLENT and creamers were good. Overall we would definitely stay here again if the need arises!

We recently went on a 10-day road trip and stayed at a variety of hotels. This property was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because as a family of 6, we enjoyed other, more spacious rooms, at other hotels. Otherwise, this was a great facility and the pool was clean and breakfast was great.

It was just what I needed for a late night check in. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Decent hot breakfast with more choices than at many other similar tier chain hotels.

Exceptionally unfriendly staff that made it aggressively clear in no uncertain terms how very inconvenienced they were to have to buzz us through the door, check us in, and answer basic questions. Very strong musty odor in a room without a window that could be opened, despite being on the ground floor. All this for nearly 300 a night during low season, mid-week, and in a basic room. This is the first negative review I've ever felt inspired to write in my life. Never again...

Breakfast was OK... ran out of Orange Juice for 2 days. Had to change rooms due to Freeway noise. Toilet was small and low to the ground. Thermostat was very inconsistent. Bathroom light was not separated from the fan. Blackout curtain was not complete. Also the price was terrible vs value. $300 per night was too much for this location.

My room had an intense smell of smoke from a fire that recently occurred in that room or the room below or next to it. I called the front desk to switch rooms. Unfortunately, they said they were sold out so they couldn’t move me to another room. So the front desk came up to my room and brought me a spray bottle full of cleaning disinfectant. I had the staff smell my room and they agreed how bad it smelled. Again, she couldn’t do anything to help me other than spray the disinfectant all over. I did so and it did nothing to help. My complaint is with the manager allowing that room to be rented out. That room should be off the market unit they address the issue. The hotel was nice and clean with no complaints other than the smell in my room being so overpowering I got about 2-3 hours of sleep. The manger allowing that room to stay open should be audited and demoted or at minimum held accountable for this failure to provide every guest with the best experience.

The rooms were clean. Convenient location. I was frustrated that when we went to use the hot tub, it was not working. When I asked the front desk about it, they seemed lost on answers or solutions. They replied, "The hot tub guy was just here yesterday." I said, "Ok, but it's not working now." It was recommended I just not use it. Which was a poor response from a hospitality stand point. We booked this hotel because it was close to our soccer tournament and was looking forward to the hot tub to relax in after a long day of soccer. Just dissapointed with the response from the staff.

Nice hotel, great staff. appreciated the slightly later check-out time. Rooms were fairly quiet-some doors slamming around morning departure times, but other than that it was fairly good. Pool is near the freeway area so quite noisy but it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather anyway.

Price of rooms as compared to other IHG hotels was a little high but I assume this was due to large event happening 6 miles away during time of our stay.

The front desk workers unfortunately did not seem to know how to handle the volume of customers. There was a huge golf tournament near by and they were overwhelmed and unbale to go and ask for help in checking in guests. The 2 workers in the breakfast area were wonderful.

We checked in for three nights. I was having major surgery the next morning and would be staying there the next two nights. The AC in our room wasn’t working. I asked to move rooms. They brought a fan and were working on the room AC. We were moved to the last available room on the property at our request.. The AC worked well there, however, it was extremely loud coming on and off all night, and the room was next to the elevators and ice machine. We heard the door slamming for the ice machine room and hotel rooms all night and early morning. My daughter called for late check out Sunday bc I was not feeling well. She was told they only allow 2 late check outs per floor, and our floor already had two requests. A supervisor was asked for but there was not one available. Ultimately, my daughter went downstairs and spoke to the desk clerk. She allowed us an extra hour, which was all we needed. It was not a good experience. Our stay two weeks before was great. This one was not. I will probably give them another try. The location to Mayo is great, the free breakfast is good, and there a lot of close restaurants and a few major retailers in a shopping center a few minutes away. The noise.

Breakfast could be better, room was clean and quiet area. Bed was comfortable Pancake maker not a good idea leaves pancakes under cooked, outlets with usb connection didn’t work and shower head was clogged.

While the room was clean the bed was too soft. We did not sleep well. It would be nice to have fresh fruit (berries) for yogurt and also hot cocoa. Parking lot lights need to be adjusted to start at dark, it gets dark before 6pm and we came in before the lights came on and it was very unnerving.

The good- the staff was courteous, the lobby was bright and welcoming, the room was clean, and the bathroom was well supplied. The bad- there was quite a bit of noise in the hallways late at night, and at breakfast several of the hot food trays went unfilled in the half hour before closing.

Breakfast had lots of great options and was self serve. The pool and hot tub were quiet and fenced off. The room was clean, had great accessibility accommodations for the bathroom, and was quiet most of the night. There were some guests yelling in the hall late at night but besides that our stay was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

I was put next the freeway and it was noisy.

The kind lady at check in was very patient and completely accommodating whilst I reserved my room. Breakfast was great and i had difficulty deciding what to eat. Even fellow guest were jovial!

I paid ahead of time so I didn’t have to go thru the whole process just had to pick up my keys well got to hotel and they had already checked another person into my reservation and said that I did not have anything in the system under my name after 30 mins of arguing with them they finally admitted that one of their staff members messed up and checked someone else with a similar name by totally different address into my room so they ended up making it right and giving me a room but did not offer to give me a refund or any kind of discount to the $1,100 I had already paid on to of that the A/C was so loud could hardly sleep for the week and kids running every where making so much noise due to a soccer tournament bring in town they did nothing to control them. It is sad because we stay at this same hotel every trip we have to make to the Mayo Clinic for my wife and to be treated the way I was is crazy.

This hotel is in a great location - near restaurants, shopping and the expressway but it is extremely noisy. The walls are thin and the doors slam shut. The breakfast was mediocre. The scrambled eggs both days were burnt and picked over and the breakfast staff did nothing to replace them.

Entire place outdated with scuffed and broken trim and doors, corners and edges filthy in room, hallways, elevators. Front desk not helpful or professional. Very loud highway noise, can hear every footstep in the place, neighbors had violent fight next door in the middle of the night and felt very unsafe and front desk could care less. Bed was so old and uncomfortable could feel the springs it was so worn out. Would NEVER stay here again. So awful left a night early.

The parking area is a bit dark at night more light would be great, the room was a small room but was very clean, the bed was amazing. I was charged 150.00 in case something was damaged or broken. I have yet to get my money back

This is a nice hotel but don't expect it the Ritz Carlton. The room and bathroom were both very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is located in a very popular area with shopping, dining and bars less than a mile away yet it is a bit secluded and quiet. We'd stay there again no question.

The staff was ok. Got charged twice for the room but that was resolved. Didn’t like the $125 charge to my account. Said it would be refunded if everything was ok but the paperwork said this might be several days. On the other hand the hotel was very clean and the property was nice.

I booked through Orbitz for 10/18/25, but when I tried to upgrade my room it switched the date to 8/3, the same day! I immediately called the hotel they couldn’t help me. I called Orbitz and they are trying to get approval from the hotel for a refund. If I can’t get a refund then I’ll have to find a different hotel to stay at. Please consider my request. Allison at the front desk was so professional and friendly, and she helped us so much by making sure we were comfortable. We were in Phoenix for appointments at Mayo Clinic, and will be returning in a few weeks for surgery, and will definitely be staying here again. Ellen at Breakfast was great, too. She was friendly and efficient in keeping breakfast service running smoothly.

The location was perfect for the appointment I had very early in the morning at Mayo Clinic - 5 minutes away. The room was great, clean, the bed comfy!

There was an issue with charging the deposit for one of the rooms, which had something to do with Expedia, and it took us about 30 mins to check-in. Other than that, it was a great room in a nice area.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Especially the lady running the breakfast area. She offered assistance when she saw i made a cane. Helped me get cold water for my travel mugs when I couldn't find a drinking fountain in the lobby.

A good spot if you're in Phoenix to attend the Musical Instrument Museum. Breakfast was varied and above average for a free hotel breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Never accept a room ending on "01". All you hear is the freeway. We've stayed here on several occasions and between the freeway noise and mildew in the bathroom sink, it was the worst stay ever.

We stayed due do an 8 hour drive in and it was too late to try to find other Accomodations. Woke up the next morning to shower and the hotel had no hot water. As a guest there was no notification. You had to go down to the front desk to be notified that there was no hot water. I understand that things out of the hotels control can happen. The lack of concern and communication from the staff was unacceptable. This hotel being close to Mayo Clinic has many, including myself, that are there for medical treatments, appointments and need running water.

We didn’t stay. We were coming to go to Mayo. My husband’s appointment was changed and we had to cancel this appointment for a PET scan for his cancer and we couldn’t get a refund or use it for another time.

It is your standard HI Express: clean, friendly staff, average free breakfasts. It is exactly what we expected.

I'm a Mayo clinic patient. I have tried several of the hotels in this area and this is my favorite. The staff from check in to check out are always very pleasant. JP and Curtis are very helpful and friendly. I love the comfort of the beds. The breakfast is good, although they ran out of the cinnamon rolls but that staff in the breakfast area are always friendly and keep everything stocked up. The housekeepers are also very friendly and stay very busy cleaning the rooms. I go here every 3 months for my appointments. Lots of great restaurants nearby. See ya soon

Location is decent but the hotel is kind of 1 star with an aging look. I made a reservation and then extended it but they wouldn’t let me stay in the same room and I had to pack up and move to a different room which was smaller but cost more. Won’t stay there again.
