Great stay. Staff was wonderful. I booked on Expedia and my package included breakfast buffet which was perfect for the family.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and avoid the i-70 traffic. Very much near everything.
- 2/5
So, you go to the bar, and they shut it down early, way before posted time. IDK... I am sure I expect to much, but this is not what we were used too after being there many times before. Hilton has lost its way here.
- 4/5
They charge for parking now
- 5/5
The night we checked in shortly after unpacking, after we had driven from Dallas...the toliet didn't work. That was frustrating to say the least, however with that being said, the staff quickly moved us to another room and assisted with the move! That's good customer service. Things will happen, its the response and action that of the front desk employees that made an impression mostly! Thank you! The negative part of our stay was having to pay to park in a location that you're already paying 100+per night for. We've stayed a various hotels while traveling and this is the 1st time we've ever had to pay to park at a hotel. That gets 0 stars.
- 5/5
Great spot to stay, near the i-17 and very close to the norterra happy valley amenities such as food and entertainment! Will stay again..
- 3/5
Bar did not look invting. Did not have anyplace to preview food menu.
- 3.5/5
The bartender that worked the evening shift of May 14th, 15th and 16th was super rude and unfriendly. We went elsewhere to have our nightly cocktail the remainder of our stay. Sad service. Other than that the rest of the employees were friendly and accommodating.
- 2/5
The scam fee for parking. The property is not close to high population where they need to charge for parking. Absolutely disgusting. Shame on you for this. Room was nice staff was rude
- 4/5
The room was clean & decent size. However, the bathroom is small. The front desk staff could be a bit more friendlier & welcoming. No free breakfast! Also, the hotel provides two bottles of water at $3.00 each. We went to the local Walmart to buy bottled water. With that being said, look out for a $6.00 charge on your credit card/bank account because we were charged for those two bottles of water even though we didn’t consume them. The bottles of water were in the same spot when we left. I had to call the hotel to inquire on the $6.00 charge to my account & the employee stated it was for the bottles of water. I disputed of course. If the hotel cleaning staff is drinking/taking the bottles of water & the guest is getting charged, that’s horrible!!
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 4/5
Check-in was great and Michael super efficient. Room was spotless but mattresses were really soft and caved down.
- 2/5
Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Beds are incredibly hard and pillows were so flat that you’d have double them up and fold in half just to get a decent pillow.
- 3/5
Also, blankets and bed had some strain’s like used one. Ok to stay for just overnight.
- 3/5
Some major areas of the room were neglected from cleaning. These included the wall above the closet, appeared to have dumped coffee or some type of beverage on the wall above the closet doors. The carpeting appeared stained and dirty. The shower had signs of mold at the base.
- 3/5
Only one USB electrical port in the room....we need 3-4 to charge items; desk clerk was not forthright on eating options in the area (we didn't know till next morning that a Salad store was literally just outside the parking lot) so we had to eat from a limited menu.
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay
- 5/5
The room was clean and amenities including work room out and pool were great.
- 4/5
Front desk guy gave me two keys that did not work. Had to come back down to get new keys. Also, everything was lovely but the bathtub/shower need an upgrade.
- 5/5
. Room was very clean and parking was free
- 5/5
The breakfastwas great,
- 5/5
Quick work stay and all was clean and wonderful.
- 3.5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The sink and toilet drained slow as if there was something blocking the flow. Someone contacted me via text and asked if they could help with anything. I explained the situation including my availability. They said maintenance arrives in the afternoon. I gave them permission to enter my room while I was away. I never heard from them again. I stayed for 3 days.
- 3/5
This hotel was nice but overpriced for what you get. Pool was small. Elevators didn’t work properly and the staff was a bit rude.
- 3.5/5
The floor hallways echo with any conversation going on in the lobby. Also, the walls seem paper thin. Our neighbors were "enjoying" their time quite a bit. We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast we paid for other than fruit because it didn't open until 7am and we needed to leave before then.
- 5/5
Hot tub and pool area was great. Very friend staff- especially Matthew & the bfast hostesses!
- 3.5/5
Carly, the staff to check me in was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure that I could check into my room much earlier than it was supposed to be available because my flight arrived early. She even called me before I came to the hotel to make sure the room was ready before I got there. She understood the assignment. By contrast, there was a male staff that came to my room in the middle of the night. He was being on my door and yelling saying that someone had complained. I was being loud. I did note that my music was loud because there was a someone in a room next to me that was snoring very loud and I could hear it in my room so I turned my music up, forgetting that it was late. I felt that the staff that came to my room could’ve very easily called my room instead of beating on my door in the middle of the night and yelling. I thought the room was pricey for what they offered. The location was further out than I anticipated forgetting how big Phoenix is. It didn’t work for a lot of the activities I was doing, but the area was nice.
- 5/5
Room and facility were clean. Staff attended us quickly. Location is in a good area .Would stay here again
- 4/5
Staff was amazing!! Property was VERY clean!
- 5/5
Clean and friendly
- 5/5
clean rooms friendly staff
- 3.5/5
Clean and bed comfortable. Front desk was friendly. No amenities. Got two bottles of water for being a member. Charged for breakfasts. They did give me a discount as I had ordered on Booking.com and had to change the date by a few days so lost most of the original discount.
- 4/5
Yes very clean
- 2.5/5
The breakfast was misleading I thought it was included but it just said it was “available” I would have chose another hotel for that price with breakfast .
- 5/5
room was clean, staff was very courteous and location was great
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly. They made you feel like an old friend. The room as very clean and comfy. Grandkids loved the pool and i loved the hot tub.
- 5/5

- 2/5
The room lacked a smart TV, which is just something to note. The microwave and AC were quite loud. The elevator is very slow, squeaky, and shakes noticeably going up and down, something to look into. Front desk staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in interaction, while not a major issue alone - it just added to an overall off experience. Positives included a clean room, comfortable bed, quiet environment, and convenient parking. Clearer communication, friendlier service, and better transparency would improve the experience.
- 2/5
The customers that were staying in the room next to us they were making a lot of noise. You can hear the table falling down and they had a dog that barked all night.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. We requested an early check-in and were accommodated. The hotel is immaculate. Well decorated. staff was available any time we went to the front desk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Best hotel we have stayed at in a long time.
- 4/5
Charge of 20 dollars for a breakfast.
- 3/5
no continental breakfast...no daily housekeeping...

Good location Everything was good

THE ROOM WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE BREAKFAST SUCKED!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 1/5
- The in-room refrigerator was excessively noisy, disrupting my sleep throughout the night. - I called the front desk in the morning to request either a repair or a room change. I was told that mechanical staff could check the unit, but no one ever came, and no alternative room was offered. - Only on the first night were two complimentary water bottles provided. After that, no water was offered regardless of the length of stay. In other hotels, bottled water is consistently available, but here I was told “nothing is free” and had to argue with staff just to receive basic amenities. - During this exchange, the front desk staff member identified herself as the manager, though the posted signage listed Matt as the manager. This inconsistency added to the confusion and frustration. Overall, the lack of follow-through and poor customer service fell short of the standards I expect from Hilton properties.
- 5/5
Bathroom floor could have been cleaned better. Toilet base had dried dark lint which could have been wiped better. Bathroom door knob needs to be fixed. The lock button/handle is loosed. The bath tub is dingy. If it’s possible to clean it better.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and the food was good.
- 4/5
I reserved a room listed as having a roll in shower. I got a room with an extra large bathroom to accommodate a wheel chair, but a tub instead of shower. So disappointing.

- 3/5
People were nice, room was decent, but noisy. Booking on Hotels always means you get the worst room by the elevator and noisy people. Makes it less worth it.
- 5/5
Friendly. Personable. Quiet place.
- 3/5
The hotel and staff are great, but this is the second time out of two that there have been event guests that have made the stay difficult. Previously it was a team of high school girls running the halls screaming. This time it was a Barmitzvah party that turned the lobby into a screaming daycare center. The staff needs more authority to maintain order with unruly guests.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. We come here often.
- 5/5
Excellent service and very clean facilities.
- 5/5
Smooth and easy to get services
- 5/5
The room was fine. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Felt safe & relaxed. I was alone so feeling safe was #1 for me. I was very disappointed with whoever was next door or across the hall. This has nothing to do with the hotel at all. Crying baby that kept me from falling asleep right away then next door sounded like something was being thrown against the wall & just a lot of them just slamming the door. Honestly the hotel was fine just some people are inconsiderate to others. Just rude! I know I should've call front desk but I was alone & didn't want any problems
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4.5/5
Extra charge on iI do t know ow what??
- 4/5
It was a typical chain hotel experience
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable.
- 4/5
Stayed close to the Happy Valley Surgery center
- 3/5
We loved the location for the ease of getting to our daughter’s college to visit her. However, for the price, I really wish breakfast were included, as the breakfast is priced very high compared to other hotels in the area. Also, Saturday evening we were going to eat at the restaurant which said it was open till 10, and at 8:30 pm it was closed. We also did not have our towels, bedding or garbage cleaned or replaced throughout our whole stay (3 nights), which was disappointing. The property is very nice and clean though, which is a plus, but with the walkable restaurants also closed on a Saturday night (our daughter dropped us off so no transportation), we had to order Door Dash for our late dinner.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was professional and courteous! Of note is that the parking lot is part of a larger parking lot for some restaurants in the front and various office-based businesses on the right which is a bit odd. That said, it also means there are plenty of parking spaces, plenty of lights, and plenty of camera security. No matter where I parked, I felt relatively confident that my vehicle was safe. Regarding the restaurants, they are literally about 100 ft from the front door so you dont have to go far for food if thats important to you. The hotel is located in a very nice side of town, however, if you have business near downtown or the airport, it might be a little bit of a drive in the mornings. Other than that, I have no complaints... it's a Hilton brand!
- 5/5
It was a great location. There was places to dine all around the hotel.Everything was very clean. I am grateful for the experience.
- 4/5
The room was clean. Could use some updating. Michael at the front desk could use a course in customer service. It wouldn't hurt him to smile at the guest when they come and go.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. Very friendly staff and made us feel at home. Accommodated everything.
- 5/5
It was very clean the staff was extremely friendly and helpful it worked great as a last minute reservation for a staycation
- 3/5
Perfectly adequate. No frills.
- 4.5/5
Easy to get to. Check in was smooth and efficient. Room was spacious (much room for activities!). The server at breakfast was GREAT, friendly and attentive.
- 4/5
Also toilet paper was in an awkward location. Everything else was great.
- 4/5
Every time we go visit Phoenix, we always stay at this hotel we like it’s as close to things we like to do
- 5/5
The place was clean and the staff friendly. I will stay here again when I come to Phoenix.
- 1.5/5
It was clean Everything was an added charge . . . Breakfast, bottles of water in the room . . . even internet for gosh sakes. The rooms were loud, you can hear people walking above, closing doors, and coming down the stairs. Not the best experience.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 5/5
Everything was excellent!!
- 5/5

Staff were friendly, efficient and smiling. The bedding smelled very fresh and the shower.was hot with great water pressure..
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed a dinner and drink at the bar.
- 5/5
The fitness room is open 24 hours a day.
- 5/5
Only issue was Dollar car rental. Never again.
- 3/5
The staff was the best part. The room was clean and we felt safe too. The elevators felt like we were going to drop down it soon so bad. Also, we couldn't take a shower because it didn't work. Seriously? Yes. Because I booked w Expedia, nothing they could do.
- 4/5
The elevators do not seem safe
- 3.5/5
The friendly vibe and awesome staff The bathroom has no Ventilation so it gets HOT in there
- 3/5
The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. The room ac unit did not work and I got placed in another room. The new room had dirty towels and there was something dirty on the bathroom floor.
- 5/5
Nice cozy hotel. Enjoyed a lot more than other price-like hotels.
- 5/5
Beds too soft for my comfort.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service
- 5/5
Would definitely stay there again!
- 3/5
The staff was nice. The rooms were clean but every hall was under construction and the noise with the drilling and plastic tarps everywhere was not very inviting. I left early to go to another hotel down the street.
- 4.5/5
This is an average hotel in its price range. The staff was nice. The hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was average. The bathroom and room are nicely sized. The shower was great. It was what we needed.
- 3/5
It was ok, but we had no control over the A/C in the room. And it was hot.
- 5/5
We had a great time the hotel was clean the staff friendly. Shout out to Michael at the front desk and Horace at the bar. We really enjoyed this hotel.

This place was great! I was traveling in from a long drive from Los Angeles and the staff were so accommodating. Even helped me with a first aid kit after stubbing my toe pretty bad leg at midnight eeeek. The restaurant had great food and drinks and the rooms were very clean and spacious.
- 3/5
Booked two rooms with two beds each. Got them with one bed. Room 214 smelled like toilet paper

Wonderful staff! Staff was very kind, and helpful. She always made time for small talk with my mom. Staff remembered my name. She is a very cheerful person who is wonderful at her job. Cleaning staff and kitchen staff always greeted my family.

- 5/5
Stayed here for 3 days while I was visiting my two year old grand daughter in Phoenix. Everything was great and I had no complaints
- 5/5
I mean, not sure how much my opinion matters seeing how i grew up poor in the ghetto so the hilton was amazing to me(definitely not my first stay though) but i know whats good, respectful and all that and i gotta say it was very quiet. The staff were all very welcoming and I am covered in tattoos. The food was fresh hospitality was amazing.I had a blast with my wife. I will one hundred percent be revisiting this hotel in the future
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
This property is super clean and really quiet. The staff, regardless of who was working. as I came into contact with several of them, were extremely friendly and helpful. Also, as a first time visitor to this hotel, I can assure you that I will be booking future trips to Phoenix at this location.
- 5/5
Very clean property. Friendly staff. Rooms are well kept and clean
- 5/5
Professional staff
- 2/5
Not a clean place. The elevator broken and slow
- 5/5
Annette was wonderful - she was able to answer all of our questions and give some great advice!
- 4/5
I wish it had been ear fom the website that free water and wifi were only available to Hilton Honors member. What hotel doesnt offer free wifi?! Nevercl clear that water
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
The patio with fireplace
- 4/5
It was good and very friendly staff
- 3/5
We should have done some checking. There were other hotels nearby almost half the price with excellent reviews and offered free breakfast buffet. For a room that was almost 300.00 (289.00) we at least had hoped for REAL glasses and coffee cups. The cost for breakfast buffet was 20.00 for one person. Thats getting a bit ridiculous when same buffet at a neighboring hotel was complimentary. They claimed it was because they offered a restaurant and bar. We will stay elsewhere next trip to Phoenix.
- 5/5
Thank you for your service and hospitality.
- 3/5
Service and cleanliness was excellent. The Tv viewing experience and the lack of USB ports in the room was disappointing . The TV cable service did not have a guide or the channels did not list what the programs was. In this era of technology the setup in the room is outdated
- 5/5
The staff is welcoming.
- 5/5
Clean with plenty of dining and shopping options walking trails near by
- 4/5
Came to get out of the cold
- 4/5
The property was adequate for our stay. We were only there for about 12 hours over 1 night. Thanks
- 3/5
No hot water in am. Property lóoked run for a Hilton property!!
- 3/5
Water pressure horrible, I pod of coffee
- 5/5
It was nice, little construction.
- 3/5
Many unexpected charges. Noisy and terrible bed. Very uncomfortable mattress.
- 2/5
The front desk upon check-in was inattentive and not hospitable at all. It was like my checking in was a bother. The hotel is apparently under renovations, but there was no sign apologizing for the state of disarray. The room was dated, and there were insufficient/inconvenient areas to charge devices, etc., whereas other hotels on our journey had many areas and charging stations in a number of accessible areas. Hilton used to be fine lodging, and an above average stay. This place did NOT meet up to the old standard unfortunately, especially for the price we paid. We NOT recommended.
- 5/5
Great place very comfortable beds clean and safe.
- 3/5
Great hotel. 40.00 for breakfast buffet
- 4/5
Beautiful property although they we’re remodeling the lobby area. The breakfast is not complementary. Coffee if available.
- 2/5
Absolutely the worst Garden Inn I've ever stayed at. First, you should know, the hotel is under renovation. The lobby is completely torn apart. There is plastic hanging from all of the walls, exposed drywall and temporary desks being used as the front desk. This also means that the onsite "restaurant" is unavailable, so instead they have set up some card tables in the lobby and made a makeshift buffet and bar. Both of which were kind of pathetic. The buffet had only a few choices (no waffles, oatmeal) the bar has a beer tap that must be hooked to a keg underneath the table. Sounds nice, right? The best part, though, was that because the buffet was now in the lobby people, rightly, assumed it was free. And instead of setting up any type of cordon or other barrier to prevent people from just walking up to it, they instead had a blonde woman in the area who would run after anyone who approached saying in a loud voice (she seemed to only speak in a loud voice) "Excuse me! You need to check in! What is your name?!" I listened to this constantly while trying to eat breakfast. I was embarrassed for the guests, but more embarrassed for the employee who didn't seem to realize how annoying it was to everyone present. The clerk at the front desk decided to bring her dog with her to work on Thanksgiving day, and the dog sat, without a leash at the front desk. Room was outdated and smelled stale. Would not stay here ever again.
- 5/5
Pleasant personnal at front desk. TV e beds are extraordinarily comfortable.
- 4/5
Property was under renovation. It seems old.
- 2/5
We were asked to pay $15.99 per person for breakfast. Also, the entire first floor was under constructions. Our room rate was $211.53 - that’s crazy for this situation.
- 3/5
I been staying here for the last 7 years 2x every year. from 98.00 dollars too 250.00 geez
- 5/5
I had a great stay, and all went smoothly. The bar/breakfast host staff were so friendly and helpful, and provided great service. Having complimentary bottled water was FANTASTIC for these hot days. I so appreciated it!!
- 5/5
Always a clean and comfortable experience. We will continue to stay here in the future.
- 1/5
We had booked a junior suite. Upon arrival we were checked in only to find that our room was a substandard one king bed in a noisy area of the hotel. When I went up front to check with them on why we were not in the suite we had booked I was told they don’t have suites available.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and great service!
- 3/5
This Hilton did not live up to the name. I called and asked for an extra pillow they told me they didn’t have any, non available at all during a three day stay. The coffee was dumped at 10am on the dot. I was literally walking up to pour a cup as they took it and said nope I’m dumping it. (Most other hiltons have coffee and tea all day). Since it was in Arizona (111 degrees) they had an ice water pitcher out but it was always empty. When I asked for them to fill it they said I could buy a bottle water. Big let down in customer service. The room was average only 4 pillows on a king bed. No extra linens. We were here 3 nights never had housekeeping clean or ask if we needed any linens. Won’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff, room and amenities all in good shape, enjoyed the dining and bar onsite. Good choices for breakfast and dinner.
- 5/5
Let me tell you. This was the best experience that I have had with dealing with a hotel. In regards to Everything... I ended up having to do extra errands that I was not expecting. My battery wasn't charged my fault. it was record-breaking heat outside. And I had food that was going to go bad otherwise. I was supposed to leave to go home that morning and now I'm stuck with food and a battery that's not charged... they charged my battery and they put my food in their fridge with my name on it so I can come back and pick it up later... totally Save the Day. And was kind enough when I got back to my hotel room late the day before after the wedding. Gave me permission as I am, one person to take a little swim... which due to back issues is a must... I was able to sleep with low pain. Instead of the excruciating torture I normally deal with. When i can't soak or stretch..... thank you thank you thank you thank you every chance I get I will stay here at this hotel. In Arizona hands down best staff ever.
- 4/5
The shower didn’t work
- 4/5
Staff was super courteous, great a/c and comfortable bed. Not a lot of attention to detail in the maintenance area. It was clean, but fixtures were hung crooked, paint streaks here and there. It didn’t make it a bad stay but it was noticeable. Overall a good bargain. I would stay here again if I needed to.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Every time I stay there everything is great. I am treated well, it is quiet, well kept. Great place to stay!
- 4/5
Staff very kind. Room was roomy and nice, comfortable condition
- 4/5
All was great. Didn’t get room cleaning or fresh towels one day.
- 5/5
Landon is awesome!
- 3/5
It was decent. But the construction within the hotel .
- 5/5
I didn’t like the Grill simply not opening on Sunday evening 8/4. Guy was there and he said no one showed up. Not good. What really impressed me was the handhold bars in bathroom. My back was in bad shape and those bars were a godsend.
- 5/5
John P was so nice to us he went above and beyond for us. My husband and I enjoyed talking with him. John gets 5 *
- 5/5
We consistently stay here not just because of convenience but I feel my vehicle is safe and the room is great. Bed is very comfortable and I sleep well
- 1/5
We spent $100 on food to grill and then found out there was no grill. We then had to spend $200 more at the restaurant to feed my family
- 3/5
Dog barking was annoying
- 5/5
I had a great stay at this hotel.
- 5/5
Everything at the hotel was perfect! The staff were absolutely incredible. The food was fantastic. Pool was kept at a perfect temperature.
- 2/5
Never checked in tried to cancel and was unable to I would love to talk to someone. Totally upset about this my future travel plans will not be at a Marriot. Rude personel .
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Check-in was weird. The desk clerk was in a mood. Explained NOTHING to us about anything. I had to ask what the $25 charge was for, he told us nothing about breakfast or even what our room number was, just handed us a key & said elevators are over there. He told my husband later when we came back from dinner, "nothing good happening here". Disgruntled employees are not a good sign for how management runs things.
