    It was spacious and nice. Very welcoming. There was an odor I didn’t know that it was coming from the sheets. It smelled terrible. Like a man stayed and they didn’t change the bedsheets. No way they were clean.

    Everything was very clean, all bedding was high quality and the AC functioned properly. The pool was open and just the right temperature, and the made to order breakfast was fantastic. When I booked the room through hotels.com it automatically included the breakfast, which would have been $18 each otherwise. It was dog friendly with grass out front, which is unusual for Phoenix.

    The property needs a deep clean. The lobby couches were excellent to have in the sitting areas but they needed a good clean and possibly a little care. The bathroom tile had a very sharp edge where the grout needed replaced in rm 229

    I’ve stayed here twice and for it being a Hilton it is very old and outdated the bathroom was dirty and the tub looked old and rusted. While in the elevator another person stated his sink was broken.

    I would like to rave about your staff - two in particular at your Avondale location - Amber and Kevin. Both welcoming and such a friendly demeanor. Amber went above and beyond to accommodate a specific request. She didn't have to but did it anyway. That was very much appreciated. It made the stay a very pleasant experience. Kudos to your awesome staff!

    Had view of of pool on 2nd floor. Railing outside window covered in bird excrement as well as window half way up. Drinks very weak and served wine in plastic tumbler at site down restaurant. No one else there except our table of 9. Said she ran out of glass glasses. Food mediocre. Staff was nice just thought place not unkept very well.

    The property is older and showing its age, but it was clean, has great amenities like a pool, restaurant, bar, outdoor seating and plenty of parking. But the best part is the staff! The front desk went above and beyond to help me. Both of parents were unexpectedly in the hospital for different emergency procedures and staff made sure I had a room to stay in and even helped move my things when I had to switch rooms, transferring everything for me into my new room while I was at the hospital.

    The staff here is excellent!! All of them! Due to a family emergency I needed extra nights during one of the busiest times of the year with NASCAR and Spring Training. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me move rooms and make sure I could stay as long as I needed to.

    Building was nice, rooms slightly dated but fine. Our fridge never worked and was never fixed as a result our food spoiled. Our toilet broke twice and only worked for two of the four days. We never received coffee pods unless I went to the desk. Hilton booking systems were down whenever I went to the front to deal with an issue there was a long wait. Front desk staff were great but I feel they were understaffed. Never complained about a hotel before but this was a total gong show.

    The room I was provided did not match my reservation. Specifically, I received a room with a rollaway bed instead of the two queen beds I had booked. Additionally, the bathroom was only stocked for on quest, and there were not enough towels provided. I also found the check-in process to uninformative regarding these changes. This is the second time I have experienced disappointing accommodations at a Hilton property. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide a resolution, such as a credit to my account. Due to these recurring issues, I am considering whether to continue staying at Hilton properties in the future!

Within minutes of receiving the confirmation email from Expedia and discovering the error I contacted Hilton then Expedia. Each blamed the other and would not give credit for my payment even if I would agree to pay the higher price for the 2/14/2026 reservation. I am really surprised!     Rooms are very run down, they are clean, but need updating. The walls are very thin you can hear everything from floors above and rooms next door. The pool is great! Heated and the spa is very nice. Breakfast is pricy and not included in the room booking.

    Breakfast was okay. Lots of options, would of liked pancakes, waffles or french toast for our little one in our included breakfast. Fruit was very fresh. Staff was very nice & attentive. The pack and play we were given was dirty and didn't lock safely for use. The bathroom ceiling had mold, thinking its due to no air vent. The tub had a yellow outline. While I recognize a variety of folks stay here, It would have been helpful if the room had some baby proofing (e.g. outlets covered, furniture that didn't move easily or is anchored). The ac unit should be higher or away from where little ones can get to it. Vents in the bathroom should be added to ensure Mold doesn't grow & expose customers to it.

    While our room was clean, it seemed a bit run down. Paint was chipped and scuff marks on the doorframes and some walls, the bathroom floor, toilet, and tub looked older and a bit stained. The carpets in the hall were stained and coming up in some places. It was just odd compared to how clean and fresh the lobby was. When did free breakfast go away? But these things didn't deter from our experience there too much and we had a wonderful holiday. Oh, and the staff were DELIGHTFUL! I appreciate people who work holidays and are still so friendly. Thank you!

    The floors were dirty, the elevator was dirty and the floor was sticky, the side entrance doors and windows were dirty with grimy finger prints all over it, the carpet looks like it’s been there 20 years without being cleaned due to the appearance of stains throughout the entire hallway, the hotel doors had chips all up and down the frame of the door, the frame and handles were also very dirty, the hallways had dingy lighting, the other guests were loud and did not care about children running up and down hallways and loud noises in rooms after 10pm as well as in the front lobby, the hotel room itself was ok, but dated, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and I felt springs in my back all night, the bathroom was not cleaned great, floor had dirty areas, cracks in the tile and a couple lose tiles, water pressure in the shower was also not great.     The floors were dirty, the elevator was dirty and the floor was sticky, the side entrance doors and windows were dirty with grimy finger prints all over it, the carpet looks like it’s been there 20 years without being cleaned due to the appearance of stains throughout the entire hallway, the hotel doors had chips all up and down the frame of the door, the frame and handles were also very dirty, the hallways had dingy lighting, the other guests were loud and did not care about children running up and down hallways and loud noises in rooms after 10pm as well as in the front lobby, the hotel room itself was ok, but dated, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and I felt springs in my back all night, the bathroom was not cleaned great, floor had dirty areas, cracks in the tile and a couple lose tiles, water pressure in the shower was also not great. Overall not a great experience, and will not be staying here again. It was more like a run down apartment building.

    Terrible mattress. We only slept a few hours each night. In 4 days there was zero room service. We had to go to the front desk each night when we returned to find no service in the room. We were promised service theme t day, but none happened. Will never stay at another Hilton Garden Inn.

    Did not have breakfast. The entire Hotel ran out of regular coffee pods. Even the free water had something floating that couldn't figure out was it an old orange or not a bright lemon. For being a Hilton is a little bit on the run-down side. There are many newer hotels in that area I will choose in the future. Tub was black. Blankets were dingy White. The best experience of the entire stay was the air condition worked very well.

    Avondale was a place I lived and went to 7th and 8th grades some 70-years ago. It was a much smaller area back then and is impossible to locate my old homeplace now. it has matured greatly. The main road in front of our house was a 2-lane highway which is now an I-10 thorough fare. The hotel was magnificent including pool which we enjoyed greatly! Your staff was wonderful. We even were allowed in about 30-minutes early. This is a great place. Will return if possible. Thanks for a great time.

    First I was told that I could have a late check out about 2 hrs however when I asked for the late check out the oriental guy was rude, and denied it because of problems with housekeeping, since when is that a customer problem? Talking about house keeping, not the best, perhaps because they are short staffed, again since when is that the customer's problem, that's management problem and should prepare for that. Third the food, you have to pay for Continental breakfast and is expensive 10-20 dollars depending on what you get, a total rip off Parking is alright but could be better The trash cans look run down and rusty, look dirty The carpet in the rooms definitely need upgrade I'm not staying here again

    I like that this hotel had all the amenities you were looking for. From the pool/jacuzzi to the gym room all the way to the laundry room. The only thing I didn’t like is that you have to call them to come clean your room and change your sheets, but I have to remember this isn’t a high-end hotel like the suites that’s across the way from them. Other than that everything was nice and no complaints with my stay.

    Was not happy that they charge $15.00+ for breakfast and water bottles in your room are $3.00 unless your at certain level on rewards. Other hotels offer free breakfast. Check in clerk was not the friendliest. For the price per night on a off weekend, should have some kind of breakfast included. Oh and safe was non op.     For the price of this hotel, it had thin blankets, only 3 pills for a couple and no options to have more than that. No extra soad for the shower. Just shower gel. I like to hace a bar of soap for my face in the shower. It was rated 8.6 but i dont think it should hace been deceiving in the rate. The price was over 250.00 a night. Not worth it

    The entire time of my stay not once did I get the service no clean towels was never cleaned. I went up to the desk on Saturday evening so that they’re aware we did not use surface towels, our phone did not work, and the window in the room would not close at all. It was broken. nothing was ever done. I never received any room service nor the window was repaired or towels. I also have bites all over my arm from something that baby.
