Kinda low quality but okay and staff were great

So we stayed in this hotel from Friday-Sunday and the only redeeming qualities were that there was breakfast and the staff were nice enough. Almost none of the TV channels in our room worked. The microwave took so long to heat up food and then the screen on it kept blinking so bright with the time that we had to put a bandaid over it, the shower tap dripped nonstop and our curtain was held up by a spring clamp, we also saw major stains on the chair and headboard of the room. there was no bath mat when we got to the room so we had to ask for one and they only did housekeeping every other day. Would not recommend.

They really need to work on the breakfast bar. There are few healthy options like fruit.
- 1/5
Area is under construction. Apparently they work through the night. What could have been a great sleep was continually interrupted by men and equipment outside my window working on the street. The rest of the stay was fine, but sleep is the most important and I didn't sleep a wink due to the noise. I wish this would have been mentioned before I purchased this hotel room.

Staff read friendly and welcoming. The property was very clean. I will continue to stay here. Unfortunately it’s been another hospital stay for my son but the location of the Hampton is awesome.

Welcoming staff, continental breakfast was good. Nice location, the only downside is that one has to pay $10 dollar per night per parking.

Very nice room and convenient location to St. Joseph hospital. Pool is nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Reservations were easy to make. Breakfast is ok…but adequate. I would definitely stay here again!

We asked for some form of compensation and the manager (James) told us no - he would give us a few bucks at the snack bar - I asked the name of his supervisor and he said Mr. Hilton and to take my problems to hotels.com. I was at the hospital for a minor surgical procedure that morning. He told me it was the cities fault and they couldn’t help us at all, best of luck.

I didn't have time to use the workout room, but I went inside for a look and it's very nice. I asked for rooms far from the elevator and they gave us two rooms exactly next to the elevator. There was a reading light on only one side of the king bed--why??? At breakfast, the oatmeal and mini-scones were good but the omelettes were not edible--they were really hard and rubbery. I've stayed at other Hampton Inns that were really nice, so I was surprised at the condition of this one. It made the $10/night fee for parking harder to swallow.

I was supposed to get room service every other day but I didn’t. I complained and they came the next day. It was the craptel. I would never go there again.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton last night and had a mixed experience. Check-in started off a bit stressful. I wasn’t aware ahead of time that a card was required and that cash wasn’t accepted, which caused some initial confusion. Once that was sorted, I was surprised by how quickly additional fees added up—pet fee, parking, and other charges. The stay was already on the expensive side, so the extra fees on top of that were disappointing and made it feel less transparent than expected. The room itself was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. Breakfast was actually a highlight—fresh, well-stocked, and with a good variety of options. There’s also a snack area available for convenience, though items are understandably overpriced. That said, the hotel is centrally located, so there are nearby places like Walgreens where you can grab snacks if you prefer. One of the biggest letdowns was that the jacuzzi was not working. This was the main reason I booked the stay—I was really looking forward to relaxing and having some quiet time, especially around the holidays—so that was a major bummer. I do want to give credit to the overnight staff member, Star. She was kind, checked in on me, and genuinely tried to help when I explained how frustrated I was. Her attitude and willingness to listen definitely made the situation a little easier.

The room was not clean upon arrival. There were crumbs on the floor and the carpet felt sticky. The towels had a strong chemical smell. While parts of the room appear recently remodeled, the updates feel superficial and unfinished, giving the impression that it looks new but isn’t actually well maintained.

We stayed there 3 nights and never had room service. I had to ask for wash cloths and towels twice and asked for room service the second night because the small waste baskets were overflowing. We came back that night and no room service still. Bathroom was dirty, half the towels were nice and half were dingy, hair on the bed, stains on the sheets and shower curtain. Could see the hall light through the door. It’s right next to a hospital so very loud, if you don’t want to hear helicopters all night. Chairs were missing from the tables at breakfast, so not enough seating every morning. Overall, so disappointed in a Hampton Inn. I stay at them because they’re usually clean, this was not!

The ladies upfront seemed friendly. The bedding was comfortable. The only issue that I was upset about was charging for parking. I wasn't expecting to pay for parking while I stayed at the hotel. You would figure parking would be included in your stay. Also, you have to scan the QR code for parking that is $10 a night. What they don't tell you is that they also tax you on the $10. So for one night of parking it came to $11.83. My purpose of staying was my daughter was having a brain tumor removed and extra charges was just so unexpected. What if some people can't afford to pay extra especially when a family member is in the hospital? Also, the door to the room had a big gap. But what I did like was there was plenty of outlets within the room.

Good breakfast, friendly front desk. Super convenient for St Josephs hospital. Has a parking fee, don’t scan the QR code, add it to the bill. Sadly the mattress was miserably hard. Room was clean, cable setup was good, AC also great. Asked for service, didn’t happen, had to retrieve TP, trash bags and wash cloths from front desk.

Friendly staff, management should improve the quality of their breakfast and also use fragrance for the room.

We picked this hotel originally because it seemed safe and close to dining options. And it was (hospital and medical schools all around). We came back a second time because of that and the breakfast! One of the best breakfast buffets we have had - they do a great job of making the food tasty and nicely presented!

Stayed just 1 night. Breakfast was good, but crowded. Bathtub was not clean enough to shower, imo.

15 minutes later there was no change, so I called down again and Sierra said she would go to their room and ask them to cut it out. Finally around 2:30a they shut the hell up, mostly. Also I ended up cranking my phone on some noise machine app to drown out the nonsense from upstairs. I realize it’s not the hotel’s fault, directly, but I cannot give a good rating for one of the worst nights I’ve ever had in a hotel.

I have to go to saint Joseph for medical care frequently and this hotel is perfect. I can walk to the hospital. It is clean. Quiet . Easy parking. Nice breakfast. A bit price during the peak season.

Very clean and quiet. Staff is very kind. Barrow Neurological Institute is directly across the street from hotel so very convenient for medical travelers. Hot breakfast is delicious and includes yummy potatoes, scrumptious omelettes and scones, and really tasty oatmeal with optional toppings. A little pricey for the room but worth it in comparison to some of the absolute nightmare hotels nearby (do NOT book at the Extended Stay nearby! Bugs and drug addicts galore!). Definitely would stay again, especially if offered a better price!

Great location if you have someone to visit in St. Joe's hospital which was my case. Midtown is a nice safe area for walking and exploring. Hotel is okay especially their daily breakfast spread, but like all Hampton's just the basics and nothing fancy. Negatives during my three night stay: thin walls so fairly noisy room, pool spa drained for repairs, really no housekeeping - the one time they came in my room they just left some fresh towels on the bathroom counter, only emptied one of two trash cans, and didn't refill any of the shower/bathroom dispenser bottles; also no made bed, no cleaning of in-room coffee maker, etc.

Had a horrible experience the night before at different hotel, lucked out and got last room here. Only complaint is being on first floor, could here walking above us, but tolerable and still able to sleep. It was busy everywhere due to state wrestling championships. Our stay was much more pleasant than previous hotel. Front staff was super nice, gave thorough info. Parking was $10. Breakfast was good. Room was super clean, air worked, comfy beds, furnishings looked new. We were only 5 mins from venue. Definitely recommend and will stay here in future if need.

The room and bathroom were very dirty when we arrived. The bathtub faucet leaked and Mai tenancy had to turn off tighter with wrench to make it stop so we stopped asking every time.

Generally as good as expected, but a little disappointing to put in a long, hard day and come back to an unmade bed, damp towels still on the floor, and be told rooms are serviced every second day

The window shade was falling off and I could not open the window to look out. The outer shade on a mechanical mechanism also doid not work properly, so closing the window at night was difficult.

Advised clerk I had came 3 1/2 hrs traveling to go to surgery extremely tired finally got room at check in 3 pm cause God forbid you don’t get me in a little earlier fell asleep. I need to find out she had put me next to a construction site where they were banging and chiseling and all kinds of crap not happy at all. We’ll be going to the manager.

I was surprised there was no maid service when I left for the day came back and found my room had not been cleaned. No maid service on weekends? Later in evening I went to front desk and asked for coffee so I can make coffee the following morning.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't realize this location was next to a hospital, where homeless tend to gather, so I was a little concerned walking back and forth to my car at night or early morning, but it was fine. You also have to pay for parking, I must not have read that in the description. The room was clean, as was the elevator and halls, common area, etc. I have 4 stars because of the homeless outside when I arrived, the hall I was on was noisy, and the pillows were lumpy. Otherwise, all was good. Their breakfast is also open till 10am, which is longer than some others, and they had a good variety of options.

Perfect for what we needed. Within walking distance to Barrow Neurological Institute and St. Joseph’s Hospital, which is where we were headed the next morning. They were very kind in helping extend our stay, even though we booked through third party.

Nice hotel. Comfy beds, big clean rooms, good breakfast... But every Monday trash is collected at 5am. I was in room 307 (facing the parking lot) and it was incredibly loud. Also, there was a helicopter flying around starting at 2am on Saturday morning until past 6am making it impossible to sleep. The front desk say they were probably looking for a criminal. Finally they front door is locked from dusk to dawn and you need a key card to enter; this is very necessary for safety. But I came down on at 4:15am for coffee -- due to helicopter -- and there were undesirables banging on the door trying to get me to let them in. Most unpleasant.

Staff was good and the facility was clean. Are room was not well stocked with towels, sink backed up and toilet took a couple of flushes to get things done. We didn’t stay long enough for it to be a big issue. If we would have been there longer…yes, would have mentioned. Peking for $20/night was a bit steep. Won’t be staying here again just due to that.

We had an amazing stay. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Amanda at the front desk is such a friendly person. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The property is in a safe area of town, the hotel is well kept and the rooms are clean. All of these great amenities of the hotel and it is all ruined by the unhelpful staff that lack skill and tact in customer service.

Excellent location especially if you have are a patient at Barrows/Dignity hospitals . Breakfast selection is excellent .

Amazing staff at the front desk, rooms were clean and it was a quiet environment. I would highly recommend it. The only weird issue we had was in the breakfast area. I went down 950 to grab a coffee and noticed they had a breakfast area. When I entered it the person who was working it said get what you need, it’s time to go.

No table & chairs for eating. One easy chair and a make shift shelf go table. Less than comfortable. Refrigerator was not cold!

Literally like staying at the Barrow Healthcare Institute itself! Right across the street. Definitely within walking distance. Very clean and safe neighborhood! Clean soft beds!

Breakfast was good, especially the potatoes! Staff was nice. Quiet hospital area, except maybe hearing what sounded like helicopters at night, generally safe to walk around, except for some questionable folks around the cannabis dispensary. Found a few good restaurants in the neighborhood.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast options. Beds Very comfortable. Quiet and access to our doctors across street was a huge plus. We decided we will stay at this hotel anytime we have to be in Phoenix werher it be for doctors or any event we attend.

I teach ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) at St Joe's twice a year. I have done this for years. I do this for free. I parked in my usual spot at the Hapmton parking lot. I was shocked that I have to now pay for parking. Prices are high enough. I know that Hampton Inn and Hitlton is making a whole lot of money. I consider this payment as a way to just take money from the population many of whom that stay there are staying there with family who have significant medical needs and already have a difficulty paying for them. I found tne extra payment just rediculous and a terrible way to treat people who most often are there for medical needs and emergencies and all Hilton wants to do is make for money off of them and add to the stress of those staying there.

Good centrally located hotel. No issues during my weekend stay, very quiet and clean area. It is to be noted, parking is not free and it roughly 10 bucks or so a night. Tons of free spots whenever I arrived back late

Liked proximity to hospital. Didn’t like getting stuck in elevator when fire alarm was tripped during some sort of construction

Overall very good, it was clean and felt safe only downside was having to pay for parking
