We recently stayed here for one night and had a very enjoyable experience. The check in staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the process quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable and everything was well maintained. This is a smaller casino and hotel compared to some other local ones, but we actually enjoyed the quieter atmosphere. There were a variety of food options available, and we were able to enjoy breakfast before checking out. We also appreciated being able to conveniently check out right from the television in our room. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Great staff, clean, updated room, comfortable King bed and a spacious bathroom. Right off the 202, and attached to the casino with food court options and a cafe… plenty of parking as well!

Everything was good with the exception that the shower door seal didn’t work and it flooded the room. Also, we encountered a couple of shall we say not so courteous staff members.

We did not use a lot of the amenities. There was not a free breakfast. The room coffee was dreadful. The casino coffee was better. All staff encountered were so very nice, the room was clean. It would not hurt a hotel of this caliber to have 2 free bottles of water in the fridge. The room was super quiet. So good for a restful sleep.

The bath towels are like sand paper, I’ve stayed in 500+ hotels over the years & yours were the roughest!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Lighting was OK. Bathroom had nice counter and good size with walk-in shower. I expected the towels and toilet paper to be a little nicer but other than that everything was great. We did not use the pool, but checked out the pool area and it is beautiful with a fire pit, cabanas, bags games, hot tub, and etc.

Rooms were very clean. Room size, bathroom, shower, larger than expected. Quiet at night away from gaming area. Time of year, beautiful to sit outside on the bench drinking the morning coffee, looking at the mountains.

Great valet. Excellent staff.The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The furniture is old and scuffed up. The casino has alot of slot machines but the slot machines were so loud it made my ears hurt.

Original room was noisy (something to do with the air conditioner). Day shift manager did not do anything to help. Night shift manager swapped us to a quieter room.

One of the two rooms rented smelled like urine, not sure what that was all about. Check in time is a crazy 4pm taking away a 1/3 of your stay but for extra money you can check in earlier ? I’m sorry but a casino hotel with hardly any cars in the parking lot 450 for a two night stay is a bit much

Cleanliness, friendly and professional staff. The whole environment was nice and welcoming! Definitely a comfortable getaway. The beds and room were so clean, the beds were very soft. We loved our rooms and stay! Internet wasn't the best but everything else was excellent!

Enjoyed my stay! The room and customer service were excellent. I did wish that the Aroma cafe was somewhat closer to the hotel instead of being near the parking garage.

Took quite awhile to get food and the biscuits and gravy were not hot. Service was great s the restaurant may have been short handed. But our waitress was great!!!

My experience was wonderful, I enjoyed every minute of my stay. It was absolutely one of my most relaxing solo, stays, anywhere I've been in a while, I salute the staff/ casino personnel for greeting me with a smile, and their personal attention.

The room was great, the bed was very comfy, and the food court options were good. We did not have breakfast. The only snag we ran into was a security guard who was a little bit rude for no reason. But we still had a good time.

The staff was ok, i booked a room with 2 queen beds but they gave me a room with 2 small full beds. The towels in the shower were very small as well.

Parking for the hotel is ridiculous. After returning to the casino at 10 PM the entire lot was so full we parked out by the Semi parking. In the morning around 8 AM there was less than 50 cars. You need a parking garage just for the hotel.

I liked everything about Vee Quiva. Bingo was so much fun, hotel was very clean and we were able to get a great night's sleep!

The place needs better soundproofing.

We stayed one night for a birthday and we had a great time. The room we had booked sold out, so we were given a complimentary upgrade to a king suite that had a patio with access to the pool. The room was well decorated and spacious, it was very comfortable spending any time inside. We had plenty of dining options for dinner and late night snacks. It was a very busy Saturday night, but the entire staff remained professional, friendly, and polite. I would recommend to stay and would love to come back again

We had a wonderful staycation at Vee Quiva! The Casino/Hotel were clean and the staff very helpful. This is my second stay their in the last couple of months.

Absolutely no complaints..Gila is by far one of the best casino hotel I've stayed in..the rooms are clean and spacious. Staff was courteous and casino was nice..we didn’t win any money but wife and had a blast ..we'll return most definitely

I enjoyed our stay at Vee Quiva, very nice get a way, food in the Full House Cafe was excellent both times we ate there for breakfast and lunch, I thought the $50 early check in was a little expensive but we paid it anyway, it was nice to get into our room by noon, we will be back again!

I always enjoy staying at Gila River resort. Clean quiet luxurious room every time. The staff is always friendly. And I absolutely love the scenery. I will continue to stay at this hotel when I come to Phoenix.

We’ve stayed here a few times now, and we’re always getting a great stay . The FD clerks and Housekeepers take pride in their service.

This casino, hotel resort is very clean and hospitable. We had a warm welcome and easy checkout. The games and card tables were fun and the energy was right for winning! My sister and I had a great girls trip! A special shout out to William Sha and Tien. We appreciate the professionalism and kindness!

This property is Amazing!!!

I have intentionally stayed at this property multiple times when I pass through AZ. The boutique rooms are super clean, welcoming and comfy. It is so detached from casino that I hear nothing but can go play so easily!

Beautifully decorated Hotel & rooms, even the doors to each room is a work of art. Enjoyed a week long visit at this location. The architecture and landscaping was well designed and beautiful as well. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the location is perfect for any South Phoenix/Laveen neighborhoods or shopping.

I paid for 2 nights with my service dog and was harassed until I left a night early. They wanted me to leave my service dog in the car at night. I couldn’t because that is when I need her the most.

We stayed at this location for the reason that it was lose to my daughter's house. I do not like to gamble! I did not like the smell of cigarettes!!! The restaurants and gift shop were extremely over priced! I did that we were able to get a room near the pool. I did not like having to worry about the bees!! The toilet were extremely extremely low!! And the trash cans were very small!!!!

The other thing is, you need to change your toilets. People get older and it's hard to get off that toilet. I'm not kidding to low

Was disappointed because I booked at the property at Wild Horse and ended up at this one (not sure how that happened) This property was good and the one restaurant had good food but would have preferred to stay at the Gila River Resort at Wild Horse. Also the people were very friendly at Vee Quiva. All in all we enjoyed our stay there anyway.

This is the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed at. From the front lobby to the rooms and even inside the casino. Not much around the area to do, but if you are looking for a very clean place to stay and modern, this is it.

Vee Quiva was amazing, the staff is incredible and the location is stunning. It’s a little out of the way of Phoenix, but honestly that’s part of what makes it nice. Food options need work, as there is nothing else close by.

The rooms are very clean and good size. Bathroom was roomy and really clean. Property is organized and updated. The pool and spa is nice and hardly anyone was using it so we were outside a few night's to play corn hole and have some drinks. Even the public restrooms in the casino and pool area where so clean.

I could recommend adding a microwave, even if 1-on each floor, for all of the leftovers, lol. The bathroom is roomy and the shower is a great size, maybe add a shelf or two along with a handle bar near the toilet and in the shower.

Food choices could have been better, breakfast service starts at 8am, should be earlier. Prices were high for the quality of food served.

Other than a sock that was left in the room from a previous guest, it was a remarkable stay. The room was beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, the restaurants were great, and the casino was always hopping. Couldn't ask for much more.

No refrigerator in room! Curtains were not fastened in one side!

The walls seemed very thin. We could easily hear the 'night time activities' the neighbors were engaging in during the first night, and the crying baby during the 3rd night.
