When we stay someplace we prefer not to do any house keeping. They had us throw our own trash and we had to leave early 5:30 am for a hospital procedure. This seems to be a trend and i dont care for it. Plus i am quite sure people are living there. Just gotten much worse since last time. We will not stay there again

I stayed in this hotel for three nights on a recent visit to Phoenix. The room and bath were both clean and well-kept. The A/C worked well, which was especially important since Phoenix was experiencing record high temps for this time of year. I didn't have to use the kitchenette much, but it was nice to have. The hotel and adjacent area was pretty quiet. And there are restaurants nearby as well as the Interstate. Note that the only downside was that there is only one entrance/exit out of the building in the front lobby. Side entrances/exits are considered "emergency exits" and were inaccessible. Also, there was not someone at the front desk 24/7. I wanted to check out early in the morning, but the front desk was closed. Still, it was a good experience overall. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was dirty especially the bathroom shower curtain had a lot of stains and rusty shower drains and walls were dirty.

The staff members were a blessing with their kind and helpful attitudes, but the property is showing some wear and tear.

For an extended stay hotel, it did not have a coffee machine or anything else in the kitchenette (fridge and microwave was present) just was not kept well … few outlets next to bed, WiFi was iffy

The staff was nice. The room was so old and run down the bathroom was disgusting. Old spots of toothpaste on sink. Everything there needs to be replaced Total remodel.

The room was well used, clean but beat up. we did not use any of the amenities, like the kitchen.

The whole place smelled like a trucker’s hotel. The smell of old cigarettes smelled so bad that my daughter and I both had headaches the next day. The room also had a smell like dusty antiques. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights and had to leave the following morning because of the smells.

I seen one roach for the whole weekend. They were charging to use your towels if you stay more than two or three days it was dogs and pets all through the hotel which I’m not used to having it.

The front desk staff was courteous, my reservation was in order, and the check in process was quick and efficient. I especially liked the ability at this property to be able to cancel at a very late time frame without being charged. The property was in a good area, very close to two major freeways for easy access to where I needed to travel during my stay. Food and gas stations were conveniently close by. The property looked nice, the room was clean, and I had no serious issues. A malfunctioning lamp was immediately replaced when I notified the front desk. Would stay here again without hesitation. No issues to report

The location was good. The facility looked clean from the outside. The room that they had gave me was filthy and disgusting. There was blood on the mattress and they put sheets over the blood, someone peed in the bathtub Around the back of the toilet bathing was filthy This was my worst experience ever at a hotel!!!

The room had a bad smell. Very old and not clean. Along with a lot of suspicious activity and odd people. We were traveling with small children and did not feel safe so we left immediately after checking in. Do not recommend at all. Tried to get a refund but kept getting the run around from employees saying a manager would call me back but never did. Awful experience.

No breakfast offered. Check in office shuttered closed. No attendant as of 8 am when we left. Everything could have been better.

Great location. Room was clean and comfortable. Room and bathroom was spacious. Appliances and amenities that were available and present all worked well. Location felt safe and hotel was quiet despite being full up during my stay. Room was a little bare on helpful items despite being set up for extended stays. No silverware or dishware in the kitchen area. Only one soap bar and very minimal other bathroom amenities. Very few towels provided. A basic set of dishware/silverware, an extra hand towel, and a small bottle of dish soap would go a long way for these rooms and the feeling of being well provided for.

A total dump. Zero USB ports. Zero WiFi at least on 3rd floor. Toilet was plugged. Called front desk. No overnight desk person until 9am. Had to go to lobby to get a plunger and unplug the toilet myself. Furniture looks like leftover yard sale stuff. Clearly corporate doesn’t understand customer service just the bottom line. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Still planning a nice email to the corporate customer relations department…if they even have one. Don’t stay there.

It need a lot of upgrade The lobby could be more cleaner and the front lobby door squeak a lot,the room as a kitchenette but you still have to pay$30 for a plate smh no utensils if you wanted to cook your own food, bed was uncomfortable. The toilet has no plugger no brush sink pipe seems it was fallen apart smh.

Customer service was above and beyond; loved that staff was so welcoming and helpful. We traveled with our dog and was so happy with our experience. A lot of places say that they are dog friendly, but they truly are at this Extended Stay. Loved the location which was super close to the hospital where we had appointments. The floors were a little worn, but such a minor detail considering the room was so clean including the tub and shower.

Greeted each time we came and went from the lobby. Had ice readily available with no charge. Smelled friendly everywhere but the room. Room smelled of old wood rot.

The room was nasty! I walked in and was greeted by a smell i can't describe. Floors weren't swept, or moped, dust bunnies, food crumbs, and dirt piled up around the walls. I made the mistake of looking under the bed....food, dead skin, dead buggs, and not a little bit, a lot! The bed looked nice until i pulled the top sheet back. Very visible dipps on both sides of the bed (looked like 2 very heavy people slept in the same spot for 10 years). I layed down on one side to be met with springs, same on the other side. I piled up the rock hard pillows on both sides of me so i wouldn't fall in, and slept in the middle. If you wanna call that sleep. I could hear every car driving by so sleep didn't come easy. In all, the 1 star is for the friendly staff. I definitely would not recommend staying here!

A bunch of drug dealers and users in the hotel and in the parking lot. It stinks as soon as you walk in the door. Dirt and dust and hair everywhere. Staff was extremely rude and disrespectful.

the room had nothing in it no dishes, no pots or pans no silverware, the sheets were dirty, bought a mop and mopped the floor 4 times still dirty, the filters in the air conditioners were dripping black gross material which I put in the shower and cleaned, cigarette buttes were all around the entryway. Horrible experience - will never stay there again

The room was supposed to be non smoking and it definitely had been smoked in. To the point it was uncomfortable

One staff member was terribly rude

My boyfriend had to have surgery and the Staff went above and beyond to make sure that he was comfortable help this with whatever we needed. The facility was clean comfortable.

Also keep in mind this hotel doesn’t offer lotion or shampoo or conditioner or anything like that. A little outdated room but not terrible.

Had to move to another room dogs barking noisy neighbor the toilet is broken not flushing correctly I don’t think I’ll be staying there anymore

Well I never got to stay there after making a reservation at 11:30 pm when I arrived at hotel the front desk was closed!

Liked full size frig and microwave. Didn't like that the room had not supplied coffee maker, or coffee. No dishes or utensils. I was surprised that Expedia offered this as an option.

Now as for the rest of the staff. One of the staff name alexis. She seemed ok at first but i think it was because the manager alexie was there and she had a image to put on iguess. But once she was buy herself . Super rude. We moved to a smaller room which was filthy.Blood on the walls and food still caked and dried on the cabinets. The dressers were broke and there was no light working in the room and I tried to explain that to Alexis and she made it clear that I couldn't switch rooms even if I was willing to pay the difference.I wasn't allowed to switch room because I went through a third party And she wasn't sure if she was gonna have any rooms available by the time I tried to fix. My reservation..Regardless if i showed her the blood and all the dirtiness and the filthiness that came from that room. Mind you I have health problems And I have a 1-year-old daughter.It is highly unsanitary And it didn't get fixed until I threatened corporate and Health department on extended stay . All of a sudden she was able to move me back to my old room. With no extra fees .

It was a place to sleep for the night that is about all that can be said for it thin walls could hear everything that went on in surrounding rooms such as a toilet flush or taking a shower and lots of traffic noise

It was your average hotel but was disappointed with the extended stay theme but pots and pans were additional cost. Found a few bugs in our room. No daily room service. It was doable but not great.

The room had cockroaches, the tv was broken and it was nasty.

Extended stay has a very friendly staff, super nice front desk people. The room was huge, but the beds felt like the frame was going to collapse. They do have a bit of a BUG problem.

The showers are really loud — the folks above me showered at 2am and I was surprised by how loud the sound was! Otherwise, my stay was fine (one night.) I should have realized this isn’t the type of hotel that serves continental breakfast when I booked.

The staff was nice, but the room was very dirty and gross.

We got checked in to the 2nd floor and was hit with a TERRIBLE smell, almost as if they tried to clean the carpets but left them wet it was disgusting. We were checked into room 204 I believe and we entered used the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Turn over to see a dead cockroach on the counter before exiting! I came out to let my family member see and there were more scurrying across the counter! I got it on video and went downstairs to the receptionist who blamed management for not exterminating. We got into another room that was okayish seemed like the blankets/sheets hadn’t been changed so we went to Walmart and bought our own, the sink didn’t drain also. We drove 14 hours and couldn’t find another hotel that late at night with my elderly mom who was on her last trip before being put on hospice. This whole trip was an absolute nightmare 10/10 WOULDN'T RECOMMEND! Disgusting building and horrible management/workers.

The room we stayed in was suppose to nonsmoking but there was lingering smoke smell, room looked like it was not cleaned. In the morning, woke up to bugs doing their morning routine. Felt like we invaded their space. Overall it was not what I thought the stay would be.

It was dirty, but cleaner and nicer than other motels in the area. The chairs in the room were especially dirty/stained and dusty.

It was to be a smoke free hotel. Always smelled of pot. The floors in the elevator were dirty, carpets dirty. We had to take out our own trash. No handicap doors. The only thing good was our room was quiet. Would give this place no stars.

Walked in and watched 2 roaches walk across the lobby, one on the counter. It was late so we stayed the night and hoped for no bugs in the room. Checked out the next morning and moved to a different hotel for the next 3 nights. Gross.

Property was very unkept, no amenities whatsoever as advertised. Cold breakfast as shown was discontinued several months ago, had to go to convenience store for coffee. Lots of pets, Room was very dated with no updates in years, carpet was disgusting. The steel shutters on the registration desk after dark doesn’t add to one’s comfort. You might want to consider spending a little extra!

The carpet was stained and dirty. We killed at least 5 roaches in the bathroom. The heater started smoking immediately when we turned in on and we had to vent out the room in the cold due to this. We told the front desk about the heater and they said it "just smells like that when you first turn it on" when it's obviously a fire hazard. Would not recommend.

Flight was delayed and I got in after the lobby was closed. I picked up the phone and got connected to an agent who told me it was too late to check in and if I wanted a room tonight, I better call Expedia.

The bed was firm and easy to get into! I am a little person and I hate having to climb in a bed! Could have used hand towels in the bathroom and a shelf for your personal stuff (like deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, etc.

The room was good. The entrance door was difficult to open, too much spring pressure and then needed an extra push to latch. I would stay there again in the future when in that area.

The refrigerator in my room room 212 was dirty looking the bathroom had some rust spots and the water in the bathtub kept dripping. There was a small hair on one the pillows

My family and I have come to phx a lot for work and at times to have fun …. We have stayed at extended stays before but this one was not at all what we thought …. No lobby when you walk in it smells like ppl smoke inside all the time …. We stayed in room 325 and my husband saw a bug on the bathroom counter …. I saw the cockroach in the morning as soon as I woke up …. I had booked a new hotel and left that morning ….. when I spoke to the front desk lady to turn in my room key and let her know what was going on in the room she was unfazed no emotion like this was a normal thing that is seen there all she told me was that I had to complain threw Expedia and there was no one on site to help me … I showed her the video we had taken of then freely crawling around in the bathroom….. I have been waiting for a response from management since Saturday morning….. the review email is the only thing I have received so far so

While the rate is up only slightly they eliminated breakfast and coffee. Within a mile away is a comparable place for 50.00 cheaper that offers more amenities. This is/was a yearly stay for me as I like the location,

This is one of the few hotels I've stayed at that's actually caring and do the most for the customers. I wanted to shout out to Alex who came and made things not initally the best way to handle things but he definitely made the whole experience better than it was looking to end up being. Will definitely stay here again!

The room was pretty comfortable. It was just a one night stay for work and a gathering. The only complaint I have is the amount cigarette smoke on the non smoking floor.

Find another place to stay. Place is run down and dirty. We got in after 10pm and the "lobby" was closed. I wandered around then finally the lady came out and checked us in.

Check in was not easy, Wi-Fi did not work, no amenities, No shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap…very noisy, pit bulls off of the leash, smelled really bad and no flexibility with reservations

Making a reservation at Extended Stay America was the biggest mistake ever—my husband was extremely PO. Worst HARD mattress we have ever experienced—impossible to get comfortable and had a long travel day planned. Hooking up the Cpap discovered tons of hair on floor behind night stand, then looked under bed, oh my! …and headboard needed a good cleaning, gross. Room was very outdated and looked nothing like the Travelocity pictures.

The front office worker, Rebecca, was no where to be found. Had to wait over half an hour for check-in. Rebecca was extremely rude, and refused to allow me to talk.

Our room smelled so dirty, we opened the windows right away. it was so runned down, electric socket didn’t work in the bathroom. We were in a rush to get to the wedding so when I mentioned it at checked, it didn’t matter the front lady said because we are to let them know right away. Ridiculous…We stayed there for a wedding near by. It’s such a shame because the area is nice and the outside of the hotel looks decent.
