I don't know what the problem was but I had to leave early because I could not receive mail or packages never received anything in writing or on the site also I have a recently issued gov't I'd with a picture and everyone kept that I was crazy that it is not me and several other women implied that they are me that I stoled my id also I look exactly like the picture

The lady in the office Nothing I would have left if I didn’t loose my money . BTW it is not the Econo lodge it is now a Super 8. The pool was cloudy and had floating debris, there was no water for the first 3 hours. You could see outside through the air conditioning, the walls had holes in them like Swiss cheese. I was given one towel one wash cloth one hand towel and two pillows in total for a room with two queen beds. I had to dust bleach the bathroom . There were also roaches. I did not stay the second night. After my appointment at the Mayo I went back to hotel got my dogs and stuff and drove 3 hours home. It was horrible. Hookers drug addicts you name it… Just horrible. Not even a Econo Lodge…. The pictures of the rooms are not this hotel!!! Painted doors that need 2 more coats, bottom sheet top sheet blanket and one pillow per queen beds. No top sheet or comforter. Just a blanket with hair not your color. Don’t take your shoes off either your feet will filthy one walk to the bathroom. A sound in the wall like pipes in the bathroom wall. Had to keep door shut to not be kept up. Still took me until 2 am to fall asleep…

My room was facing the freeway, bed wasn't that great, TV but nothing connected.

My family took a trip to the Phoenix area for a mini vacation. Upon arrival, we were looking for the Econolodge sign on the building just to discover a Super 8 sign on the same address. The room was in extreme disrepair, holes in the wall, running faucet's. The refrigerator smelled like something died. The rolling chair was broken, and we asked numerous times to have that replaced. The room smelled like smoke, even though we did request a non smoking room. And the paint was peeling off the walls. This is a Wyndham property and we expected a better experience than what we got.

This is a Studio 8 and if I had known that I would have never booked. People everywhere all hours of the night making it unsettling to walk anywhere with my 6 year old son. No phone in room making it impossible to communicate with front desk without walking to office through the unsettling rubbish. Tv took some convincing to work properly. No shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash provided. Burn holes on blankets. Terrible smell throughout the property. Absolutely no management of any kind. Woken up at 3:30 in the morning to a tow truck attempting to tow a car and it took nearly an hour and I could hear every single time his pen dropped. Walls paper thin. Do not recommend.

No hangers or dressers, dingy. No coffee maker

Um little on the older side but well kept for its age and attention. Always a good choice if you wanna see something cool....lol thank you guys...

This was the nastiest, dirtiest place I’ve ever attempted to stay at. We didn’t even stay the whole night we got our $50 deposit which doesn’t tell you that you need to have when checking in and would rather have slept in the car then touch that bed. The room was disgusting. There was burn cigarette marks in the sheets. I don’t think the walls have ever been wiped down since you can’t really wipe down over the millions of holes in the wall. Nothing but homeless crackheads outside of the building at all hours of the night.

The room was a dump. Paint peeling everywhere. Rust in the bathtub. Two tiny towels. Dirty sheets. No cup for water. TV without ESPN or local news. This property is far below the rating and standards.

This is now a Super8. Very dirty. Bathroom lights didn’t work and shower/tub. Rey moldy in tile cracks. Area was a little shady.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Main room light was out. Area seemed unsafe with some "guests" seeming like permanent tenants. Bathroom was dirty with bugs in the bathtub. After seeing the room, I immediately checked back out due to the cigarette smoke exacerbating asthma symptoms and the lack of cleanliness in the room in general.

Scary tweaker area and I'm not exaggerating.

It is Super 8 by Wyndham, not Econolodge. Not even close to represent Wyndham. Afraid for my life plus as a parent I was more terrified for my kid. Nothing is friendly about this place. Rude all the way around. You have to sign their policy about violence and drugs with immediate removal of room if any police officer knocks on your door. Basically even if it's not your fault your out. Your word is not honored nor is it safe. They gave me the wrong room and argued expedia made the reserve for one bed. She won't show me a print copy and decided to give me what I reserved which in the end I never stayed and still need to report them. The 2nd rom door looked like someone was trying to break into it with bent and a hole where the door locks and latches. Holes in the wall. Room smells hardcore of smoke and something else, can't figure it out. Not clean, no toilet paper, only one pillow, not like the pictures posted, unmatching bedframes (1 metal, 1 wood different colors), sheets look transparent like very old. One towel in bathroom, no washcloth, no soaps or any kind of hotel necessities. And after all of that they will not give refund, even telling the hotel staff I'm afraid for my life and she didn't care on bit and never apologized. And she still did not want to give me my copies of the reservations that she sees. She would not give me a copy of anything nor would she give me a receipt for the room she tried to give me. And continued to not give a refund nor recipt.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my life mind you I stay in over 100 hotels a year! If you’re going to stay there, you will be dealing with multiple homeless and drugged out people. Also let me remind you that this is now a super eight so when you get there, you are looking for a super eight sign not an Econolodge sign. That was the first red flag. The place has no hot water. If you get any hot water you will maybe get 2 to 3 minutes worth so hopefully you could take a quick shower in that time. Otherwise you will be dealing with cold water the rest of the night. The faucets also are running all night long. You cannot close them. You’re also being kept up all night long due to people screaming through the hallways you have dogs, barking, children playing and screaming all night long which they should not be there at 3 AM in the morning. You’re worried about your car getting broken into or someone messing with it. The front desk would give keys out to room rooms that people are staying in so we had to worry about somebody walking into our room the whole night this place is very unsafe. They have cops driving through this hotel every hour on the hour. I do not understand how this business is still running. Please spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. Do not come to this location and keep yourself safe. Also the front desk took about 45 minutes to check in. Horrible! Also, they offer no late checkout, even if you pay for it.

They said the motel was under renovation. The bathroom door was half missing, there were burn spots all over the place, including the bedding, the room was not up to code, there were bare bulbs and sockets all over, broken fixtures, and I supposedly had a hood room. See above comments. I asked for a lower level room or elevator access. The motel staff didn't look at the comments before assigning a room. They turned the water off before check out time, so I had to wait to get a shower

Creepy place. Front desk, the lady would not get off of her phone. Wanted $50 cash and then couldn’t find my reservation. We left QUICK!! They are Scammers and the outside is disgusting. Cancelled both nights and went to find something else.

What I didn't like: The fact that it wasn't specified on the listing as an "extended stay" motel. There were a lot of people that live at the motel. The property had trash cans overflowing and trash piled up next to the cans. It had cars that were in varying levels of operability. There even was someone smoking marijuana at the base of the stairs the next morning when we left. My daughter didn't feel comfortable going to the car by herself. The property left a lot to be desired as it was also in varying levels of operability. It just gave the overall appearance of being in the stages of being run down. It could use a touch of corporate involvement and structure. It seems to me that if a corporation is selling off their properties to private individuals, then the individual(s) should drop the name of the corporate entity. Unless once reputable businesses are good with the reputation of hosting low-income housing type of properties. And if private hotel/motel operators plan to maintain a good rapport within the search engines, then take some pride in the propety and get folks that care about what it looks like to the general public. The 2-star review didn't match up to the actual experience.

The pool was green, the building looked ready fall down. The door barely worked it looked as though it had been busted open by police. My kids and i got hit with blister beetle/bed bug bites

This hotel is not hospitable. Not even able to stay here. Doors don’t lock or even stay closed or sealed. The room numbers were drawn on doors. Dangerous area did not feel safe the rooms were not secure. It smelt of drugs so bad. People were working on rooms and no lobby cause it was filled with workers supplies. It was not a place we could stay. I demand my money back. Not at all what the photos shown. Plus the room number she gave me was not a room. The rooms did not go up to the number of room she gave me. So never found the room. But saw enough.

This place is clearly a hookup/dealing spot. The pictures are extremely inaccurate and I am assuming many years old considering the actual condition of the place. Room was okay but by no means clean, cigarette holes, hair, and stains in the bed sheets. Extremely dingy bathroom. I would not recommend staying here.

When I got to the room it was patched over trash. There were painted over areas that did not match. There were screws missing from hinges where the doors have forced open so often. Around 2 am I awoke to the sound of the ceiling leaking . I put a garbage can under the biggest leak and checked out.

The place should be condemned. It is uninhabitable and a health hazard. I reported them to the local health department and this Econo Lodge will be shut down. It is the most disgusting, smellly and vile place I have ever seen.

At checkin I was told my card key would not work. Security had to let me in and told me if I go out I’d have to get let in again. Bed sheets were stained. Graffiti on the bed post. Curtains torn and would not cover the window letting anyone peer into the room. Dirt on the seats. Bathroom dirty. Roach walking across the floor. It smelled like someone was living there. Felt unsafe.

Just make sure you level-set your expectations accordingly. Remember the brand you got a room with and how much you paid. Certainly not the Ritz but far from a shelter.

This place should be avoided. It felt unsafe. The only saving grace was that everyone who I interacted with who worked at here during my 3-night stay was very nice and helpful. Otherwise a one-star rating would have been way too high. At all hours of the night there were people making noise and I am rather certain the dangers I felt here (and I am 6-1, 225 pounds) were due to drug trafficking or some other related activities. There was no garbage can in my room, I had to get my key reactivated twice, the shower in the room was damaged (although it worked) and thankfully I did not bring my wife. This place should upgrade, update, raise the rates and remove the riff raff from the premises.

The attendant said that they had neither spare rooms nor extra tv remotes. I slept in my clothes on top of the bed and turned the pillow cases inside out given how filthy the entire environment was. I strongly recommend that everyone avoid this property at all costs.

We booked it and then drove thirty minutes to get there and upon checking in were then told there was no room available. I had already prepaid, yet was not given a room. The hotel refused to give me my money back even though they did not have a room for me to stay in. It took Expedia days to try and reach the hotel and they would not respond. In the end they refused to offer a refund to me ( I payed money for a service, they did not provide any and left me to scrabble after midnight to find yet another accommodation. Do not stay here at this property! Do not give them your money.

Knowing it was a cheap hotel I didn't expect much but I did not expect this. I get there to smell sewage and equipment outside the office. I get my room card and go up to the shady building where my room was. As I open the door I'm welcomed with a discussing odor and the sight of a nasty room. The bathroom door was falling off and would not close the bed had stains and who knows what else was lurking. The walls were falling apart, paint chipping and bad patch jobs throughout. The shower had stains of hard water and floors were scratched and tile broken. The furniture was missing pieces and broken in areas . And top it off there was no remote to the tv. I was in this room for a total of 4 minutes and seen all of this. I in formed the service desk of this and I am still trying to get a refund. There was no way I was going to stay at this place and decided to leave. This place has to be one of the worst hotels out there I just wish I would have seen the reviews before I booked my stay.

The parking lot was full of homes less people. The room was scary looking. There was banging noice all day and night. Not recommended for families. Recommend only for quick last minute night stay, alone.

Property really has no right to be on Expedia, it is undergoing a "remodel" but when we checked in we were given the key to our room and it didn't work. The armed security guard who had a pass key also couldn't gain access to the room...yes that's right an armed guard.

I asked for my refund back, the office and security couldn’t open my door so I left and asked for a refund. The office says they refund it from their part but still waiting for confirmation.

The wall had holes. The vent cover in the bathroom was missing. The bathroom faucet was leaking. And, therr were tons of cockroaches everywhere. Never expected this living condition in my 2-day stay. The WORST hotel I have ever been to. First, there is a gate t9 get in. Second we were sent to a room without a tv. I went and got another room, but this tv was broken. Only 2 flat pillows on 2 beds. In the bathroom there was a pair of underwear behind thw door and hair in the shower. Shower knob came off in my hand and second shower the next morning was ice cold. No plastic glass for a drink. And the other guests looked like criminals, would not want to be there alone. I want a refund.

It was trapped out. Door was beat up no tv, no lampshade for lamp, the bottom of walls were terrible. There was also some small cockroaches near the bathroom. This was room 160 i seen other rooms had tvs tho.

There were no towels in the room. I had to wait almost an hour for a towel. The window shade did not close all the way. It was held together by scotch tape. This meant people could see into the room. The bathroom door did not close. The bathroom light did not work, it kept flickering.

It was a nightmare from the beginning. I booked a room at Honewood Suites and when i arrived there were no available rooms. So i booked a room at Econo Lodge which was the most disgusting facility i have ever seen. There was no hot water holes in the walls brokeb furniture burns and blood and urine stains on the matress. I asked for a room which had hot water but they wouldnt move me. No tv. It should be condemned. And to top it all off i have been charged for both rooms that i booked through hotels.com. i think i should get my money back for both since i never would have had to experience the Econo Lodge if Homewood would have had the room.available that you guys allowed me to book. I really hope this gets straightened out cause i dont want to forever have a nad taste in my mouth when it comes ro hotels.com

No shower curtain, deadbolt ripped out of door, holes in the ceiling with wires exposed - I believe where the smoke detector should be located. Dirty bedding with burn/cigarette holes. A lot of people activity around outside the check in/hotel that felt questionable. Feel unsafe in many ways, so we turned around left after seeing the room. Didn’t ask for our money back - as even that felt unsafe. Do not recommend. Especially if you are a solo traveller or women travellers.

I liked it it had gaurds walking around allnight. So i felt really safe. And compared to a few months back this place has changed alot. For the better

My stay was absolutely horrible and I demand that I get a refund immediately or the dates change on my reservation for December 19th which was supposed to be November 19th but the app had a glitch so I ended up getting charged twice and the hotel said they were going to cancel and issue the refund for the first reservation that was wrong due to the app glitch which they never did

Didn’t get out of the car. It was so scary with several homeless loitering and drug affected people lurking by the office. There was little lighting. The property looked beaten down. The loiterers were on the inside and outside of the gated fence. There was a smashed up car being towed. My son said please mom don’t stop I am scared! It looked like a ghetto and not like the photos presented. I have not been refunded. I had to get another hotel at the last minute after prepaying for this. I hope no one goes there and something bad happens.

I felt unsafe upon arrival. Place is dark at night. I was advised to not get rooms facing the back because of potential trouble makers. Front desk (bullet proof protected) was empty, with nobody to check me in. Then I decided to leave w/o checking-in. Later reimbursement request for my 1-night reservation was impossible. I lost my money but at least I made sure I felt safe.

We literally walked into the room and immediately checked out. The room was dirty and they had I “sus” ppl hanging out in the courtyard. I had my son with me and the door was had a busted lock on it. The front desk was understanding and refunded my money (supposed to). It just felt unsafe and unsanitary.

This is a place to stay and get on your feet... You might have to bring some of your own things to make it home but it's definitely a wonderful place compared to McDowell. We are family and we will always make u feel welcomed to our home...

The property was in a good location. I was tired that day when I arrived to check in. Noise was to a minimal. Was able to get some good sleep. My room was clean and met all of my standards. Would visit again.

I thought this was the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. There were no towels or wash rags in my room. There was only one pillow case on my bed, and the other pillow was all dirty! The police were out front talking to a few ladies (?)when I got there. I had people of questionable intent knocking on my door all night looking for the guy who stayed in my room before me. (Drug dealer, you think!). I was scared out of my mind! I should have left, but I went to bed with the light on, in my clothes. Needless to say I didn’t get ANY sleep with all the noise coming from the unit on top of me, and around the property. I will NEVER book from them again! That place ought to be condemned.

When we arrived at the property and were about to check in, some individuals approached us in the parking lot. Since it was dark and we felt uncomfortable, we opted to leave and return later to check in. However, we ultimately chose not to return, so we requested a cancellation. Unfortunately, they refused to cancel our reservation.

If I could rate this hotel a 0 I would! Disgusting! There were sqatters and homeless all around the building and in the dark, sketchy parking lot. The lobby was gross, the floor was sticky and there were bugs crawling on the counter! This was the worst hotel I've ever seen! We didnt even go look at the room... we left.

Overnight employee refused to check multiple guests in because we had the audacity to wake him up from his drug induced state and proceeded to throw tantrum and refuse service to the entire lobby before disappearing behind the counter.

We drove around the property, went in to speak to staff, and decide this was not a safe place for our family to stay.

Read all of the reviews and be warned before booking, I wish I would have. This place is dirty and upon driving up you feel unsafe with the people walking around the property and parking lot. They never answer the phone. I felt my car would get broken into if I stayed there. Upon arrival there were 5 hotel rooms wide open and everybody was walking into everyone else's room. With the pulling up of cars and going into a room and then few minutes later leaving which we watched happen several times with different people, it seemed some kind of illegal business was going on there and the many people hanging around the room was unnerving. My family and I tried to cancel the reservation within an hour of booking it but they said non-refundable. That's where they get you, you pay then you're scared to stay there and they have your money. Lost my money on this hotel and instead spent the night with my family at an assisted living. Read the reviews before you book this place, if I could give it negative ten, I would. I don't understand how people stay here unless they are desperate. I want my money back! This should not be listed as a hotel!

Look somewhere else! Make this place your last option, and when you get there look around again! After driving 8 hours I wanted a hot shower and bed. Driving up I was already skeptical do to the amount of homeless people around. Walked inside to the front desk and there was a HAND WRITTEN paper that said “no rooms left on property reservation call who you booked thru for refund”. So I paid for the room and they gave it away. Still in the process of getting a refund. Think again about this place.

My brothers arrived a day earlier than my wife and myself and had to change their room b/c there was no door on the bathroom, burn holes in the blankets, a single pillow for two beds and excrement in the toilet. The replacement room was only slightly better. After the one night they had to cancel their reservation and try to get a room somewhere else, no easy task since Nascar and MLB Spring Training were in town and rooms were scarce. Interestingly, the motel never bothered to cancel the charge on my card for their rooms. They also refused to refund my money after the fact. The next day my wife and i arrived and i immediately tried to cancel our reservation. After waiting 40 minutes or so in line (it was a shift change, apparently), I was told they would not help me; call Travelocity, the receptionist said. Long story short, they refused as well. Fun fact, there was (still is?) a list of rules taped to the reception window, including my favorite, #8: "No smoking of fentanyl in the rooms or anywhere else, even if you possess." Apparently so much fentanyl is being smoked there a warning needed to be supplied to customers next to the parking rules. I found this so unbelievable i had to take a pic as proof. Unfortunately there's no way to post the it here, but Travelocity take note: i can provide it.

The hotel was delisting the service was awful don’t stay here

We didn’t get a room. They didn’t have one. Ever since we got there, there were problems. There was a big line with people trying to resolve their issue. The first family said their keys were not opening the door. The second man said there were no walls in his room. The bathroom was right there in the room and was wondering how his daughter was going to be able to have her privacy in the restroom. While we waited there were a lot of homes less people surrounding the property. When I finally got my keys, we went to the room and the property was dirty but we still managed to give it a try and spend the night. Our key didn’t open the room so we go back and we were told there were no rooms. I told her then why should I pay when I’m not spending the night and she just said stuff that didn’t make sense. Then she gave me a paper with my amount and it didn’t say anything about me requesting a refund, no information on what happened and the wrong phone number. She said I could use that to dispute my charge with the third party. I told her the paper doesn’t say anything. She said she had the information on her notes. I asked her if I could take a picture of her notes and she said she couldn’t do that. For all I know she wrote down I didn’t want to stay. She gave me the name of the manager so I could contact but the phone number on that paper she gave me was wrong. These people screw people over

Room was filled with cockroaches coming out of the bathtub no shower curtain toilet did not work patched holes in the room stained curtains no lampshade on the lamps duct taped up refrigerator side table and dresser missing front of drawer stuff smeared on walls no remote for TV when asked they said we can download the Roku app and use that staff had attitude the place needs to be shut down outside prostitution and drugs
