The hotel has a convenient location and friendly staff, but cleanliness and noise are recurring issues. The rooms are generally comfortable, but some guests have reported problems with amenities and maintenance.

Great affordable place to stay if your downtown for the night..active on Friday nights..but no problems..
- 3/5
It’s a neat concept with renovated, spacious rooms. The property is an old drive-in motel with limited amenities. The neighborhood would likely feel unsafe to single women travelers, especially in the evenings.

Staff great I come back again
- 4/5
The room with 2 queens was clean and attractive. The air conditioning did very well in 107 F heat. There’s a lovel outdoor space with tables and umbrells. Parking was barely enough. A couple of times we got the last space. Also, the caulking in the bathroom was stained and unsightly. Some people might be bothered by the neighborhood, but those people should just go get a Marriott. The Downtown Phoenix was a very good value.
- 4/5
The location is great given the price and that anything closer to downtown would be much more expensive. Check in and check out was very easy and smooth, no problems at all. Only thing I can say is the AC is quite loud, but it's definitely a need in Phoenix and it did work very well.

The room was nice and the staff was very polite and professional.

very peaceful had new beds to sleep on and everything else was pretty much up to date and clean the floor needs to be mopped i couldn’t walk without my feet being black and the tv didn’t work it had a different remote

A cute little hotel right across the street from our concert venue! Exceptionally convenient. The staff was very nice, helpful, and courteous. When we requested one more coffee pod, the maid even kindly asked us if we needed more towels. The owners and staff were out every day cleaning and maintaining the property. The outdoor seating area was cute, nicely furnished with cooling overhead water sprayers. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. Although the bathroom was smaller than in newer hotels, it was updated, useful, and comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave were adorable and very convenient for travel. Our stay was pleasant, and we will book this hotel again when we return to Phoenix!

I’ve stayed a few times. Management is friendly. They try to make it a nice property. Actively improving it in 2026. Location is good for downtown purposes. It gets noisy. Standard city noises. My last stay had drunk people being very loud from about 2-4am plus wandering transients with no onsite security.

I love the location of the Hotel. It is near the event we had to attend. When staying in the room, we didn't hear a lot of noise outside. We felt safe inside our room. There was nothing about the hotel that we didn't like.
- 4.5/5
Big room. Big bed. Comfortable place. Allowed to check in one hour before. Coffee machine and different glasses to prepare them. Different kind of towels. Noise music in the restaurant-pub in front of it until late. Reparation works done very early morning at my window, doing noise.

Big spacious room with a very comfortable new mattress. The room style was nice, there was a big fridge with a freezer, coffee machine, and microwave. Good wifi speed, nice new towels, lots of sockets. From the outside the motel looks a but dated. Inside looks like all rooms were renovated.

Parking was scarce. The smoke detector started beeping in the middle of fhe night and we did get them to come and take it out. Unfortunately, we were unable to fall back asleep after that. The shower was dirty.

Great shower!!! Great bed and room! They had 54" flat screen TV for God's sake It is downtown and I worried about the location but it was perfectly fine. I was able to park my car just outside of my room. No problem at all.

- 3.5/5
The room looks very nice and modern, with comfortable beds l. Checking in was easy and the hotel is very close to a bunch of restaurants. The parking is very limited and if you're unlucky, you have to park your car around the back where you can't really see it. There's a lot of homeless people around (they didn't bother us) and there's a loud music venue across the street. The ice machine was also broken.
- 3/5
Location was good. Easy walk to nice restaurants. The place looked like it had seen better days. It is a motel so there was noise from rooms and people outside.

The property offered very little parking; spaces were small and tight. Not enough parking for all the guests. The room was mediocre at best. The outlets didn’t work for charging phones, the bathroom was gross, there was no garbage can, they only left 2 towels when our reservation was for 3 people. The property was directly across the street from a club that played thumping music until 2 am. There were homeless people on the lot. It was definitely NOT worth the price we spent.

The area of the motel was not greatest, but the location was convenient to where we were going. It was a motel and not hotel like the sign says. The room smelled like old cigars or cigarettes, so I had to spray some perfume of mine around the room to try to get the smell out. Front desk had bad musty Indian smell. Having free on site parking was great. Lots of security. Especially since was a bar: club open across the street really late. I would give this stay a 6:10
- 3/5
Modern shower and tv. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Bed was comfy. Killed two baby roaches. Was upgraded to another room and didn’t experience any problems.

After a very frustrating check-in experience at another property, I decided to book this hotel—and I’m really glad I did. It turned out to be a great way to end the trip on a positive note. The rooms are stylish, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with bright colors and fun artwork that give the space a welcoming feel. The walk-in shower was a highlight—excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water made it especially enjoyable. The location downtown was a big plus, within easy walking distance of several restaurants and bars, which made exploring the area convenient and fun. Overall, a great stay and a much-needed turnaround after a rough start to the trip. I’d definitely consider staying here again. No complaints. The stay was lovely!
- 4/5
We needed a place to lay our heads for one night in Phoenix not too far from the airport and found it at the Downtown Hotel. It's more a two-story motel with a central parking lot monitored by video surveillance. Someone checked us in without delay when we arrived a little past midnight, having reserved it only an hour previous. Our only complaints were cosmetic: the handle of the mini fridge fell off, and the paint was peeling around the floor molding in the bathroom. The sun blazed through the uncurtained bathroom window in the morning such that I had to wear sunglasses to enter. But our praise is cosmetic too: Bowie pillow and abstract wall paint for the win! I wouldn't hesitate to overnight here again. Thanks very much.

Staff is great, air conditioned room, shower is good pressure and nice. Location is good and affordable for downtown.

Rooms were nice/clean clean Parking lot is a dump… trash everywhere office is a dump… a little curb appeal would go a long way. I almost went down the street to another hotel just by the condition of the front of the place
- 5/5
2nd stay here. Great place, staff very good, close to everywhere we needed to be. Clean place, No problems.
- 5/5
We went to see a show at the Orpheum Theatre and it was 10 min by foot. It's also across the street from the Van Buren venue. We had dinner reservations at a restaurant on Roosevelt Row, about 25 min by foot. It was great not to have to drive anywhere. The hotel offers free parking and doesn't charge any resort fees. A little noisy due to being across from a venue but we didn't hear much once we closed the windows. Would definitely stay here again!

More of a Motel than Hotel....this place was just perfect for our purposes as the venue we came to use was less than 2 blocks away. While the downtown area is alive with people and music and activity....our room was quiet and dark. We enjoyed our stay there.
- 5/5
Great place I wasn’t it expecting for it to be clean would definitely book again when visiting Phoenix!
- 4.5/5
Actually, nothing. It was very pleasant.
- 4.5/5
Close to venue. Lighting in the room but that’s a personal opinion.
- 4.5/5
Mattress was not the most comfortable.
- 2/5
This was a motel, not a hotel. Had I known that I wouldn’t have booked for personal safety reasons. Which leads to if you’re not familiar with the area, it’s not the best. The pictures of the room were better than it was. It looks like they had remodeled and done so very cheap and poorly. I couldn’t believe the extra grout just slabbed in places in the shower. The only saving grace were the pillows and the bed being decent.
- 5/5
Great clean hotel to stay!
- 5/5
For the price, this is a very nice place in a great location.
- 4/5
The location is the strong point of this motel. The rooms seem to have been recently touched-up. Bed is comfortable and room was clean and everything worked fine. It is a simple, motel with some older fixtures and finishes that could be restored or replaced. Front desk was kind and we had no issues during our stay. Before my stay, I received a message through the Booking app, from the motel, asking to confirm my info with a link to do so. I do not fall easy for these types of scams, but in this case I did because like I said, it was through the app and the motel account. It did seem fishy regardless, so I called the motel and the clerk said to avoid the message and that my reservation was fine. I later saw that this has happened to other clients so I believe their account is compromised and the motel or Booking have to step in and fix the issue. I'm still checking my account when I remember to do so to see if I have been stolen from or not. A major incovenience. BEWARE
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The front desk man was very kind, accommodating and over all a great guy. The rooms were nice and had very good amenities. Wifi speed is pretty good. I would recommend and stay here again!
- 3/5
A bit decrepit but ok for a place to sleep. Staff responsive but not quickly or particularly enthusiastically.
- 3.5/5
Great location, great value. Clean room. Although an older motel, was recently renovated. Within easy walking distance of the ballpark. Close to restaurants. The owners took pride in the Motel. Area around hotel was a bit sketchy - I made sure I was back before dark. AC and the street were noisy - I wore ear plugs.
- 3/5
Hair on bathroom floor, old water damage on walls etc. the age shows. Staff was nice on check in.
- 3/5
Cheap, but room had spray paint on light and window. The shelving was secured by 2 screws that had pulled out of the wall. Everything else was adequate to good. Location is the selling point of this property. Close to venues in the area.
- 3/5
The hotel is very run down. There was a gap under the door and you could see daylight through the door frame. On top of that, it is extremely noisy, with no sound barriers at all
- 1/5
The room is clean upon entering, but there are no towel racks to hang towels and wash cloths. There is a soap dispenser instead of bar soap or regular hand soap. There is no counter space for toiletries, or anything else. The hotel is directly across from a very noisy nightclub, and it's on a busy street that has traffic all night long. I was gathering my last things at 5 minutes past the checkout time, and a maid came knocking to see when I was leaving. I've never had that happen in my entire life. This hotel is knocking at the door of becoming a seedy pit stop. It should be avoided.
- 1/5
Didn’t send me a reminder so I could cancel my room and got charged for a room I didn’t use
- 3/5
The lot is tiny. Glad i got there early afternoon. The noise is terrible. The door wasn't shut flush so there was light coming thru the whole day and you could hear everything outside. The mattress was comfortable but the sheets were very thin and not very soft
- 3/5
I was surprised that the reviews did not mention that this hotel is much more like a motel , and not in a good section of town . I was expecting more of a boutique hotel from the photos and the way the comments were written up by others . I was surprised by the garbage outside the property and in the patio area . I was not comfortable in this place and do not recommend it to others.
- 2/5
In room refrigerator was so loud, I had to unplug it. Smoke alarm started chirping at 1 am. Had to have someone come change the battery. Started chirping again at 3 am. Same person came and just pulled it out of the wall. Spent the rest of the night without a functional smoke alarm. Less than ideal. Also, got maybe three hours of sleep. Will not return to this property.i
- 0.5/5
Nothing because they didn't let me check in Because they wouldn't let me get my money back
- 2/5
Hotel bathroom was not wheelchair accessible even in a room that was claiming to be accessible. Wheelchair did not fit under the sink, and could not fit through the door to the toilet or shower.
- 5/5
Easy parking and room was good and cool
- 1/5
The Hotel is cheap for a reason . The room was old, small, shower/bathroom filthy, run down, AC was so loud and honestly not a great area of town. I have no idea how some of the reviews rate this place highly. Pay the extra and stay somewhere else.
- 5/5
This was our second stay. We are 4 blocks from our favorite restaurants and bars. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The owners accommodated a late check in and we highly recommend it.
- 5/5
Parking was easy, AC worked, staff was nice. I wish the windows has screens so I could leave them open without worrying about bugs flying in
- 3/5
Walked barefoot in the room and bottoms of my feet were black after about an hour of unpacking.
- 3/5
Run down place with some badly cleaned areas, no Kleenex, old stale Keurig pods, ok beds, & an office desk staffed infrequently, & no breakfast/snacks. Very basic place to sleep.
- 5/5
Room was clean. A/C worked great. Bathroom was clean and everything worked great.
- 1/5
Staff was nice but we stayed for all of 20 minutes. Did not feel safe in the area and left. Contacted Expedia for refund and hotel only would reimburse us for 1/2 nights booked. Pictures did not reflect the actual property.
- 1/5
I couldn’t stay in a room with no AC no fan and a window that only cracks open. I had to leave immediately and didn’t spend the night.
- 5/5
I got a great deal for a four night stay during a busy weekend. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.
- 2/5
I would not stay here again. Cheap!!
- 3/5
This hotel is listed as a “hotel” but it was definitely a motel. It was old and run down and our door did not shut properly. It was fine since we just needed a place to stay after the Suns game but not a place you’d want to hang out in.
- 5/5
Came in to catch a day baseball game. It was a quick 15 minute walk to the park. We rere planning on just dropping our car off but they let us check in at 10 30 when we got there.
- 3/5
Facilities and parking were ok but no breakfast or pool as advertised when we booked. If room was cleaner would be a good little stay.
- 4/5
Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown phoenix
- 4/5
The hotel is adequate, a bit dated, but it's a good place for the price. Easy to walk around to downtown.
- 4/5
Enjoyable, friendly staff and very accommodating. The main drawback was the heavy construction in the area. Our initial room felt a bit tucked away, so we requested one with more windows and natural light, which helped. Overall, the construction was the primary issue.
- 4/5
Spacious room. My room didn't look as nice as the one pictured. Lotion pump was empty. Nice this place had a parking lot and was close enough to downtown Phoenix. More like a motel than a hotel though. Decent rates for a downtown Phoenix "hotel".
- 1/5
Toilet kept running after flushing. Shower did not drain flooded bathroom and bedroom. Floors dirty made my feet black. By a bar that played loud music until 2am
- 2/5
We were in a room facing the street, where we heard loud music and screaming through the night from the venues across the street. Our first morning we awoke to see out our window a naked man standing at the bus stop. The area around the hotel is a dump. The hotel is a dump with sloppily done “upgrades”. Spend a little more and stay elsewhere.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy bed. The area doesn’t look like a very safe part of town, but it was a close walk to the baseball stadium.
- 2/5
Air conditioning did not cool plus is very loud! Fridge is also very loud when on. Also lots of noise from street.
- 2/5
I appreciated their effort to keep the place clean, but it would have been nice if they had respected my privacy a bit more. Overall, the location was decent, and the amenities were okay, but I don’t think I would choose to stay there again just because of that discomfort.
- 4/5
Parking was convenient and easy but in a run down area of downtown
- 3/5
This is not a hotel, it is a motel. Big difference. Not in a great area which I wasn’t aware when booking. Lots of pedestrian and homeless traffic. Very outdated and LOUD AC unit making it very difficult to sleep. Parking was terrible, extremely small parking lot and not enough spaces.
- 1/5
This is a MOTEL not a hotel. Room was really run down and moldy. They have attempted to add some new touches, but it's like putting lipstick on a pig. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. The pictures are extremely deceiving!! Book elsewhere.
- 1/5
After driving for 13 hours I was excited to find a cheap option in phoenix. Pictures definitely fooled me… I walked in to my room and went to plug in my cell phone charger… was greeted by a trail of cockroaches running in and out of the baseboard. Thank god I didn’t unzip any of my luggage. Refund process was pretty easy thank god
- 3/5
The vinyl floors were very dirty. The bottoms of my feet were black so at first I thought it was from my candles. After taking a shower and going barefoot in the room, my feet were black again.
- 1/5
The only positive part of my stay was the nice gentleman who checked me in. OTHERWISE, avoid this property at all costs, especially if you have an early morning or important event the next day. The hotel itself is completely outdated and run-down. Im addition, the late night concert at the venue across the street was also so loud, with lots of yelling and constant sirens. The AC was also so nosy that at one point I had to turn it off and sweat rather than hear the rattling. The floors were disgusting and I had to keep my socks on the entire time, I found hair on my pillow case and in the sheets, the whole place needed to be dusted and the shower looked like it was growing mold. Also, in the middle of the night, someone tried my room’s door handle. Not okay, would never ever stay here again. Pay more and book some place else.
- 2/5
The shower would not drain and the water leaked under the flooring and the entire room was a floating floor. The main room door was not even to ground and the locks were not tightly installed.
- 3/5
We stayed here one night because of the convenience of 5 min walk to Arizona financial theater concert that we attended. Great location, clean room outdated though, safe neighborhood
- 4/5
It's a nice place that fulfilled my needs.

- 4/5
Wonderful hotel close to downtown. Perfect for one night for a concert. Only thing that could’ve been better for me was the air conditioning in the room. Temperature varied significantly throughout the night making it difficult to get comfortable. Otherwise it was a great experience.
- 4/5
Great location for us, we go to many music shows in this area. Nice to find a good hotel within walking distance with parking. They've done a nice job of creating a nice room from clearly an older property.
- 5/5
It was clean for what it was
- 5/5
This was a business trip and worked wonderfully.
- 3/5
The Internet was fine; it was clean except for the wash clothes (they had stains on them every time). If you like quiet, this hotel isn't for you because you can hear everything going on outside. It's older but not a bad stay for a quick turnaround. The staff was friendly as well. Again, not a place for the spectacular or to be pampered but good for the price.
- 5/5
venue friendly
- 1/5
The floor was in bad shape. The bathroom door didn't even close. The shower had stains. The sink didn't drain. No toilet paper other than what was on the roll which was only a half of a roll, so we had to get more toilet paper. No Kleenex so you had to use your limited toilet paper. No closet just a metal rack to hang your clothes. It was a non-smoking room but people stand outside their room and smoke so the air conditioner sucks it into your room. The picture on Expedia gives you false belief that it has a rooftop patio. It is on the street and on the corner of busy and busier.
- 1/5
This place is a motel, not a hotel, and in downtown Phoenix. It’s deceptively marketed. It’s not a great area, it’s across the street from a music venue (which you’ll hear), parking is difficult during venue hours, shower was dirty, AC did not work so the room was about 85 through the night, there’s no screens on the second story windows and just bars on the first story windows, which should tell you enough. The rooms had a strong cleaning agent smell, which combined with the heat can give a killer headache. The lobby staff seemed kind enough but it did not make up for what this place is, which is just an under maintained motel.
- 4/5
Clean room, cute fridge and microwave. Good location.
- 2/5
First, know it is a motel with doors to the outside, in downtown Phoenix. That was not clear to me from the listing. Didn't feel particularly safe as a woman traveling alone but I was at least on the 2nd floor and not on the street. Stayed here after a canceled flight that was rescheduled for the next morning as airports near airport were full. If this is your situation, it is not the best choice. It is across from a nightclub that was so loud on a Sunday night it sounded like I was in attendance — could sing along with the words to songs if I wanted — until around 3-3:15a.m. When you pull up, the exterior isn't much, and the motel next to it was downright scary looking. The office/checkin area leaves a lot to be desired, bare bones, buzzer, smelled strange. Actual room was clean enough but very simply refurbished, though some effort to give it a little style. Two of four toiletries - shampoo, lotion, hand soup and body wash - in pumps were out. But of course didn't know this until already in the shower. Was fine for a night and I survived but will make it a point to not be back.
- 3/5
Wouldn’t stay again)Stayed 3 days)room wasn’t cleaned during my stay)No breakfast, coffee, pool or lobby)size of a bathroom, Parking was tight,Tv service was terrible,No ESPN, USA,Had to watch a lot of old,old movies,Room was OK”) Downtown Phoenix Hotel)really not downtown) A lot of homeless people in the area “
- 2/5
Inside room was ok outside area was a little shady nothing nearby but a pizza place across the street which was terrible they had a private party going on so the inside was close only had one seat inside couple tables out side wouldn’t sell us a beer for our pizza so we ate in the room sorry won’t go back
- 3/5
The room had a fridge and microwave and Kcup style coffee pot. Bathroom tiny but Amazing lighting over the mirror- My teen daughter appreciated that for makeup application. The mural in the room was cool, and light fixtures are trendy and made for a fun decor. We did hear sirens multiple times, but I think there is station right down the street. Construction made it difficult to get in and out of, but not the fault of the hotel. Id book here again if I needed the area.
- 5/5
The room was nice. There is some slight wear and tear in some spots. It was bug free, so that's always a plus. You can tell that the owners are doing their best in keeping the rooms updated. I liked the bed and the nice hardwood floor. The bathroom was ok. Liked the walk-in shower. I came for a big convention, and I was within walking distance. The hotel is affordable compared to bigger chains in Downtown Phoenix.
- 3/5
Overall room was fine and location reasonably close to the airport . The hotel sits across the street from a concert venue/bar and the music blared until 2am. Then for some reason at 4am they were loudly emptying the dumpsters in the area. Not the fault of the hotel but not a restful night unfortunately.
- 3/5
The cleanliness of our room could have been better. I found a bug wondering near the coffee brewer while I was getting ready. You can tell in the bathroom area that they do just a quick sweep type of cleaning due to some marks in the shower area and the toilet. It is located in the outer part of downtown Phoenix, not exactly in the center of downtown. Many homeless people roaming around in the nearby streets. It is also located across a grill/bar/club. You will be able to hear the music they are playing all night long.
- 1/5
Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet the expectations of a hotel stay.
- 3/5
The walls are pretty thin, so if you are a light sleeper or looking for some peace and quiet, this may not be the hotel for you. I could hear bass rattling the walls all night until 2, and the traffic noise was pretty loud at times. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. If you want convenience and a low price, and don’t mind the noise (or if you have a bluetooth speaker to play ocean sounds while you sleep), then this may work for you too.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Nice TV. Great location near the medical center and many good restaurants. The staff was kind.
- 5/5
Cute little place to stay! Great location. Nicely updated rooms. Safe, quiet and convenient. We will definitely be back!
- 4/5
It was good for the most part
- 4/5
I would stay here again, for sure. Nice old school feel, and still kept up real nice. Great location if you want to be downtown.
- 1/5
Very noisy location, bar across the street n traffic heavy thru the night and bed bug. No refund had to booked another hotel. Don’t recommend this hotel to anybody l. Totally disappointed!!
- 3/5
That serves a need. If you are a complete no frills person in an effort to save $$$, I recommend it.. it was clean enough for this (8 year old dude.
- 5/5
Attending a concert across the street it was very convenient and clean. It’s an older place that has been renovated. It worked well for our porpoise.
- 1/5
Misrepresented as a hotel. There was a luggage tag stuck on our sheets. The room stunk. There was a huge gap under the door to outside. There was indigents in the parking lot and sleeping on benches. There were bars on the windows! We left with out staying overnight
- 1/5
This hotel has a sketchy feel but it worked out alright. Definitely in a less desirable part of downtown and a good mile from the centers. But there is a Lime scooter drop off across the street so getting around was easy. The king bed was okay but bring your own linen, just a sheet and an unpleasant bed covering.
- 1/5
Pictures on line show nice rooms but not what you expect . It is a glorified Motel 6 ! Rooms exposed to a busy road ! Not worth the money or stay !
- 3/5
the room was okay, it doesn't look like what in the picture.
- 1/5
Rundown motel type experience. Dont go by the pictures on the listing. I booked it but end up leaving the place after checking it out. No elevators
- 5/5
Clean room | Staff | Shops nearby
- 5/5
Clean room. Frieny staff. Shops nearby. Close to the hot spots in the area for sports, concerts, events
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful.
- 5/5
We were just there for a quick overnight stay. It was just what we needed for location, cleanliness and comfort.
- 4/5
It was a nice place. Everything was just fine.
- 4/5
Perfect for what we needed. Cute place, clean rooms and a short walk to restaurants downtown. Parking is limited.
- 5/5
Room for was clean and loved the decor.
- 4/5
Clean room.. location
- 5/5
Staff was great! Would stay again. Had a really nice trip.
- 5/5
Clean room organized
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 3/5
Friendly staff , simple rooms that were larger than expected. Some trash was around the ground on their outdoor patio. Slightly sketchy surroundings building but it is the one that stands out as being well maintained and cared for.
- 4/5
Room clean
- 3/5
Quirky
- 4/5
Was a pleasant stay, clean comfortable and the location and cost for the night were perfect for our Suns vs. Celtics
- 1/5
The room was cute, the shower flooded the room which exposed black mold. We were refundeed without issue but chose to stay. Elsewhere.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed our stay, good location to walk to food and bars, the hotel seemed recently remodeled, cute retro style, simple room but had a fridge and coffee maker, everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable! The staff was super friendly and nice.
- 3/5
Room was ok. No Kleenex. Lighting in the room was too bright. Not a 8.0 rating as shown on hotels. Com.
- 4/5
The staff was kind, accommodating, and very helpful. The room had a nice decor. The photos are a bit misleading, as this is a motel. I slept well and request an extra blanket because the room was cold. Overall, everything you need if you’re looking for a quick stay while in DT Phoenix.
- 2/5
The pictures give a wrong impression, this is a cheap motel in downtown Phoenix. It looks much better on the pictures than it is. The room was ok, but there was no real blanket. I understand that Phoenix is warm most of the year, but it gets cold at night in February and the heating was super loud, even on the low setting.
- 3/5
At this price range, it’s a great value. Spacious and has the essentials. Complimentary keurig coffee, fridge, microwave, lots of TV channels, hair dryer, iron. I wanted more creature comforts. For example, they could add a complimentary Kirkland bottled water in the fridge and individual coffee cream packs like Mini Moos half and half instead of the powdered cream. I kept my curtains closed the entire time because many homeless folks frequent that neighborhood. Great price for downtown Phoenix.
- 5/5
Very convenient. Place was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Basically just an old renovated motel 6, so I felt like I was catfished a little bit with the pictures on kayak, however, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the bed was super comfy!
- 2/5
Room had mold in it and no smoke alarm. Smelled like cigarettes even though it was a no smoking room. Definitely not worth the money they charge.
- 1/5
Room, amenities, safety
- 5/5
Clean, nice room and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff
- 1/5
Did not stayed looked abandoned remodeling and tried call to cancell and did not even ring
- 3/5
You can tell they are trying to upgrade the place. A lot of noise from the streets, its a small parking lot. You can hear when any nearby rooms close their doors as your windows will shake. If you are young and need a cheap place to stay, ok
- 5/5
A very nice and comfortable place!
- 1/5
I would give zero stars if I could. The smell was so bad I got another hotel for my 2 night stay. It was in a bad neighborhood with a loud club across the street. The sheets were also scratchy and the bathroom was unclean with a singular towel.
- 3/5
Not as clean as expected
- 3/5
Room was clean, housekeeping did great with what they had to work with. Very Noisy in every direction. Fire station directly behind so there’s that you have to contend with and a live music venue or should I say Bar that went on till late evening…, shower was in disrepair but not the worst I seen.
- 5/5
We stayed here to go to a concert and the walking distance was just right. It fit the bill for our needs without being to overpriced like others in the area.
- 2/5
Got no sleep because it was so loud outside our room, between couples fighting and traffic. There were sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot where we had to leave the car. The sheets were scratchy and felt like covering up with a paper towel. It will get you through a short stay, if need be. Area was ok.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, clean property.
- 5/5
Room was clean, great location in downtown and the staff was amazing.
- 2/5
Room was cramped and a lot of sound would leak in from the surroundings and other guests. Parking was slightly confusing and usually almost full
- 1/5
This place is a lotta budget motel that sits on a corner of a questionable area. I pulled up and immediately pulled off. I called and asked for a refund. The Manager said I would have to pay for 1 night and I’ll be refunded the rest.
- 2/5
Room was noisy, too much loud traffic, bed was lumpy, shower door didn't close properly.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 1/5
This hotel was awful. The neighborhood is very sketchy looking. The outside looks like a motel. When checking in the receptionist said our room number out loud while others were checking in. The room seemed unclean and unfinished. We left hours after checking in because of the state of the room. Mold in the bathroom, generally unclean room with a lot of dust in the corners. Overall would not recommend
- 2/5
It did not look like that at the hotel.
- 5/5
Room was very spotless and staff was wonderful.
- 3/5
Yes
- 2/5
The hotel/motel is in a rough part of town. Room was likely renovated in the last 5 years but there were holes in the drywall. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep, sirens and the club across the street will keep you up. There is a goodwill next door if you want to shop.....
- 2/5
I don't understand how this hotel has such a high rating on Expedia. It is dilapidated and in desperate need of upgrades. The room was so uncomfortable and uninviting. The AC unit looked so dirty and old I didn't even want to turn it on. The bar across the street blasts music until 2am on weekends. Do not recommend unless you're in a pinch like I was.
- 5/5
Nothing fancy but clean and friendly for a fair price. Lots of things in walking distance.
- 4/5
Upgraded and clean on the inside but a very small room, outside is not as nice but it’s downtown so expected unless you pay for a 4 star hotel. There was construction across the street so it was a little difficult to get into the parking lot. Decent prices in a convenient area.
- 5/5
This was a great value. Our 9 pm flight was cancelled and we were rebooked for the following morning. We just needed a place to sleep near the airport. The gentleman at the desk was very pleasant. The basic room had what we needed. It was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
Dirty and full of roaches
- 3/5
Room was ok. Bathrooms were certainly not the best, but survivable. Location is rough. I hear a lot of chaos outside of my room each night and had a healthy concern. I wouldn't stay here with little kids due to the surroundings. A good amount of recreational drug users around the way. No judgement if your into that...just not what I'm trying to deal with.
- 5/5
The room was Great Very clean and the staff was kind. Thank you 🙏♥️
- 1/5
Room was disgusting. Bathroom door was broken counters sticky and pillows were discolored. Told the office staff that im not staying in that room. Was told im sorry i cant offer a refund . And we werent sent on our way.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
I stayed at the Downtown Phoenix Hotel. Jan 18-22. I would agree with other reviews, book a double bed if you can. The Single Queen is very small, not much room at all. If traveling solo like me, it's doable. It was clean on arrival, but had to remind front desk about housekeeping as they missed me a few times. Sandi ? The front desk person was very pleasant and helpful. Also the area has a homeless population, and seems sketchy, but I had no problems, just be aware and cautious like anywhere. Maybe budget a bit higher and try elsewhere if possible.
- 1/5
The pics are a fairy tale compared to real life. Musty mildew smell, growth in the shower, lumpy bed, peeling wall paper….the place is disgusting. Also, this is NOT a “hotel”….this is a motel at best, motel 6 would be a HUGE upgrade. Stay elsewhere.
- 4/5
Good stay
- 2/5
I’m not sure how this hotel had such a high rating. I was extremely disappointed. I stayed last weekend for 3 nights to attend a youth sports event. The bonuses: location to the convention center was walkable and the room was clean. The negatives: the area around the hotel is extremely loud at night with street racing and music from near by venues, the room smelled like mold, our heating/air did not work the first night and the room was was damp and cold (both my daughter and got sick and are still recovering), the second day the cleaning lady left my door wide open for anyone to walk into and the owner didn’t think it was that big of a deal, once the air/heater was working the room never warmed up at night and stayed at a lukewarm temp and had to request extra blankets. The hotel was not worth the money I paid for it and I will definitely not be staying at the location again.
- 1/5
There were homeless people out my door and circling my rental in broad daylight. I tried to cancel my room and move to a safer location immediately upon arrival. The owner was rude and refused to acknowledge an issue or refund my stay. The closet was a piece of plyboard on a metal shelf. I have stayed in better places in a 3rd world country. I was mortified when the uber driver went to drop me off afraid to get out of the car. The lobby was the size of a restroom and locked at all times. Please do not stay here. You are not safe!
- 2/5
Dirty and smelled like someone just smoked in my room
- 1/5
The sheets didn't fit the creaky bed. The sheets were thin and crackled like paper. The towels didn't match - some new - some old. the "closet" looked like something made in 7th grade shop class. The bathroom window? no idea what was going on with that. Horrible neighborhood. Still - it looked clean and there were clearly upgrades done, which made it look nice, but not feel nice.
- 1/5
Photos were deceiving and felt unsafe I packed up and left to go somewhere I would be safe and secure and was unable to get my money back even after purchasing insurance on the hotel. Don’t recommend.
- 2/5
The sheets had been changed but the mattress pad under the sheet was dirty and looked as if it hadn't ever been changed. Also, one of the pillow cases looked like it had not been changed. I asked for a refund through Hotels.com, but the owner refused.
- 1/5
While the staff was friendly, the property is not a hotel, it is a MOTEL. The photos do not look anything like the property. We reserved three rooms -- all three were not clean and one had a broken window. The neighborhood is not ideal and there is a pervasive odor just about everywhere -- inside and out.
- 4/5
The room was good. The bed was soft and it felt new. It's definitely a motel not a hotel but that's ok. It was loud there but
- 5/5
Easy walk downtown... very clean
- 4/5
The room was clean and overall pleasant, the coffeemaker didn't work, but other than that it was a nice room. Walking up a flight of stairs with a suitcase was a bit cumbersome, but I would book again. I will just be sure to request a first-floor room.
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay. Nice and quiet
- 5/5
Very good service, clean room, building is old but well-maintained.
- 2/5
The hotel is old. Although they are trying “boutique” it, the changes are mostly cosmetic and don’t really hide the run-down aspect. Plumbing a bit backed up. It was clean, but also lacking simple amenities (shampoo and lotion in the shower, but no soap). A couple of draw backs that are NOT the fault of the hotel: The neighborhood felt very sketchy (likely due proximity to a homeless shelter) and there is a nightclub across the street that had some of the loudest music I have ever heard coming out of a club. I cannot imagine anyone in the club who would not have experienced hearing loss or damage and I’m a doctor. This went on until 2AM. Overall, clean and they clearly appear to be trying. I just wouldn’t stay there again
- 4/5
Clean, nice staff. But be aware room is very basic.
- 4/5
Good location and value.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Construction noise and airport noise. The place was great except it is very noisy.
- 1/5
Staff is nice and welcoming. Room was very old smelly.
- 4/5
The room was spotless; the bed was comfortable; the staff was kind and courteous.
- 3/5
Parking was extremely tight. Unsafe area. Shower door wouldn’t close bed was actually nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Too bad the sirens were nonstop and passed out homeless sleeping on the sidewalks
- 2/5
Unsafe, unclean, and not recommended. They put lipstick on a pig, then it smeared all over the place! Also, it is not a hotel…it is a MOTEL! Maybe they should learn the difference…u fortunately, hotels.com somehow magically has this 3.0 (m)otel listed at 8.0…dream on!
- 2/5
The facility is no where near an 8, this is a 3 at best. The pictures must reflect how it was the first day. The neighborhood is sketchy, loud, and unsafe at night. The room was worn, damaged, and not very clean. The sheets thankfully were clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The door would not close all the way and looked like it had been previously kicked in - it would only latch if you pushed firmly and it was so warped the deadbolt could not be locked (and this is not a good neighborhood). One towel had blood stains, the bathroom was not clean, and the shower door would not stay closed. Enough said…I do not recommend!
- 4/5
Housekeeping was excellent. Pillows, hot water, KEURIG coffee maker coffee was hot, immediate response was great when fire alarm went off
- 2/5
Definitely downtown. Homeless around the area. Parking was limited. Shower door wouldn't stay closed. Only benefit was that the van Buren was across the street
- 5/5
Check in was easy as pie, the room was clean, the staff were courteous and friendly ( Zabrina! She was so nice, easy to talk to! ). Only negative i have about the whole experience we're the vending machines, they did not work, no signage to indicate and it ate my money. It's like oooooh so many good snacks but no, you can't have them! Put a sign on it! It was pretty quiet during our stay, if i come for another event in the same area i would stay again, for sure.
- 3/5
staff was wonderful, vending machine wasn’t working
- 3/5
For an overnight stay it was okay
- 5/5
Very easy to just sit and be a bumbo on a log
- 3/5
It was in a rough part of town. It was slightly overpriced.
- 4/5
It was clean but still need work inside. Could be nice but looks a bit run down.
- 3/5
Good hotel for location and price.
- 4/5
Convenient location for downtown. Is an older 2 story property with recent upgrades. Manager and staff were good. Located on a very busy and noisy street; expect noise and outside lights 24/7. Do not expect a 5 star facility and you will find good value for dollar.
- 5/5
Don't let it's looks deceive you. The rooms are very nice, modern and clean. We needed an inexpensive place to stay close to our daughters apartment and this fit the bill. It doesn't look like much from the outside but we were very happy with our stay. Will definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
This property does NOT look like the photos. I was shocked when I got to this property and actually saw it in person. I was bringing my daughter and her friend to the Billie Eilish concert and when we pulled up I was so embarrassed and slightly mortified. Thank god it was only one night.
- 5/5
The owner was super friendly. Place is old but it’s clean! You can tell they are in the processes of renovating. It was less than 5 min walk to the financial theater
- 1/5
Bed bugs smells musty
- 5/5
Checking in was easy and the room was the perfect size! Being my first time in Phoenix, I felt very comfortable, no loud noises, close to Downtown/ASU, I would recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Great, affordable and clean hotel downtown Phoenix! Excellent customer service and the room decor is really cool.
- 5/5
Room was cute & clean! Staff was friendly & helpful. Walls are a bit thin but besides that, no complaints!
- 5/5
The overall politeness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room. And how easy it was to get in and out of the parking lot. I really enjoyed the fact that everything is basically in walking distance. Overall amazing experience with this hotel. Have stayed here before and loved it and came back and will continue to use this hotel in the future.
- 5/5
Room was huge and accommodated my bike.
- 3/5

- 1/5
Nothing to drink in vending, bugs in the room, didnt even offer a partial refund. There were literally bugs in our beds. Not worth $150 for a weeknight stay. Avoid at all costs.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Cute vintage inspired decor with a modern twist.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean room.
- 5/5
Good location and clean room!
- 4/5
Met our needs
- 3/5
Noisy area and felt unsafe a little
- 5/5
Easy parking great location
- 4/5
It may not look like much on the outside but the room was really nice. It was very clean and I love the decor.
- 2/5
The room was pretty and the staff was great. But there were two cockroaches in the bathroom. I haven't had that happen at a hotel in over ten years.
- 2/5
This is NOT at all what the pictures lead you to believe. It is a cheap motel with questionable cleanliness and a sketchy parking lot. The shower door in our room would not close and the grout in the tiles was filthy. Another room shared by our group had pink mold on the shower curtain and the fan in their room started smelling like burnt rubber in the middle of the night. They had to turn it off to avoid a fire. While it is obvious they see working on upgrades and remodeling, this still has ways to go. Apparently the name has changed several times in the last few years too, not usually a good sign. The only thing we liked is that it was walking distance to the venue we were visiting— but there were MUCH nicer actual HOTELS nearer too. Don’t be fooled by the pictures!
- 5/5
The details in the room are cute and modern. Super convenient location for live concerts downtown.
- 4/5
Great staff! Loved the decor of the room!
- 5/5
Staff friendly. Room is clean. Bed along with pillows are comfortable. Location was great for what we were in Phoenix for.
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable. Parking was alright
- 1/5
Didn’t even check in. Arrived to the hotel and just kept driving. Crack Ho Motel!
- 1/5
I was disappointed at the misleading photos on line. I tried to cancel and was sent in circles for an hour.
- 5/5
Front desk was very nice
- 2/5
Horrible. The deadbolt lock was broke. Shower door didn’t close, leaked all over. Just feels like no care is given to the upkeep of the motel. Parking was VERY limited. Had to street park, in a very sketchy part of the city. I cannot recommend this motel.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, quick and easy check-in.
- 4/5
No real complaints but our door did have an issue closing without some force. We were only there one night so no real impact for the short stay but it may have caused issues if we were staying longer. Other than that it was clean and nice.
- 4/5
Toilets needs to be cleaned a little more and the sink had some stains. Otherwise really good room service.
- 5/5
Was good
- 3/5
Room was in good condition and fairly clean, could use some basic amenities in the rooms such as toothpaste etc.
- 3/5
It couldn’t be more convenient for shows at the Van Buren, but you’re otherwise getting exactly what you pay for. The room smelled like mildew, and the toilet was stained and filthy.
- 4/5
Rooms were better than expected for that part of town
- 1/5
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this property was far below expectations. The main issue was the condition of the bathroom and toilet, they were poorly maintained and made it difficult to feel comfortable during the stay. The overall quality did not match what you’d expect from a hotel. For the price we paid, the standard of maintenance and comfort was disappointing. With some upgrades and better upkeep, this place could improve significantly, but as it stands, I would not recommend it.
- 5/5
Clean room good staff and it was nice to have a microphone and fridge
- 4/5
Spacious room. Clean. Def more interesting than usual decor -- urban industrial, but kinda fun. Thankful I had ear plugs as some nearby traffic was a bit loud, but for the price, this place was great. Would stay again.
- 3/5
My only real issue is that I felt the room was misrepresented. I expected a much better room for the price I paid. It was very convenient for what I needed so I suppose that’s what I paid for. Next time in Phoenix I’ll definitely do more research.
- 3/5
This was definitely not a hotel, but a motel. When I originally booked the room I was quoted one rate, upon check-in I was charged different rates for each day (Thurs & Fri); no where was it mentioned that Fri's rate would be different. Room was clean-"ish". Could have supplied a box of tissues and extra toilet paper, had to ask for that. Wish I knew about the construction around the motel...not a very quiet stay.
- 3/5
It’s a motel not hotel. The towels and sheets had stains. The door to the shower wouldn’t work, had to lift up to close.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
Great staff, soft beds
- 4/5
- 5/5
This is really a nice booty hotel
- 2/5
Area is very noisy and motel is right by the main street, also AC is super noisy so had issues falling asleep. Front desk people were nice and friendly.
- 3/5
Very noisy. Considering how old the property is, it's a good renovation.
- 5/5
Easy money
- 4/5
It got a little noisy in the morning. There is construction across the street so they start working early as it was on a weekday. The room was clean and updated.
- 4/5
The room was nice with comfortable beds. Easy access and reliable transportation options. The area itself is sketchy but improving. I wouldn’t walk around alone.
- 2/5
The room had a very strong odor and was somewhat dirty, which made the stay quite unpleasant. Additionally, the area where the hotel is located has a large number of homeless people, and it gets very loud at night, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s rest. On top of that, the air conditioning unit was extremely loud — every time it turned on, it sounded like someone was trying to break through the door, waking me up several times during the night. Overall, not a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Always have a pleasant stay here. Staff and hotel are nice and it's convenient for our activities.
- 5/5
Clean was unique and clean. Very comfy beds. Manager was
- 5/5
Pizza place and brewery nearby
- 3/5
The room was decent and it was clean. The property is old but seems like it has been kept up pretty well. I described it to my girlfriend as a small step up from Motel 6. Biggest complaint is the neighborhood noise. Not sure what the issue was, but we could hear things pretty clearly from outside.
- 5/5
We had travel issues and needed to cancel the first night of our reservation and the office staff was so understanding and then the next day when we had to arrive well before check in they kept our bags safe while we found a restaurant to wait in. Very nice staff, comfortable room. The location was great for downtown. We loved that the TVs had streaming. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location, great owners!
- 5/5
It was honestly a very nice hotel
- 5/5
Ms Sally was sweet and friendly. Check in was super easy as well as check out. We were a couple of blocks from the concert venue and across from food and drinks. Our stay was very comfortable. We will stay again with the next concert.
- 3/5
This is really an old two story car motel that has been cosmetically updated. The decor is sort of funky mid century industrial. The bathroom seems to be original. The location is great! The room was clean, the AC worked, towels were fine. A good value-you get what you pay for, perfect for us for one night.
- 5/5
Check-in was friendly & quick. The room was clean & spacious. The fridge & microwave were a nice surprise. I would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
There was a dirty wash cloth left hanging in the bathroom, aside from that. The room served it's purpose of being near the event we were attending. Easily accessible walking distance to anything you need. Will most likely stay here again
- 5/5
Safe and secure downtown location. The man who checked me in (the owner?) was very helpful letting me check in early. He was also very helpful coming to my room to find out why the tv wasn't working, and repairing it. I was able to walk everywhere that I needed to go downtown and found good places to eat.
- 2/5
Was unaware of construction goings on the street immediately affecting the parking lot. Also, renovations to the rooms, lobby and outer corridors were made cheap, not complete and disappointing.
- 4/5
The place and area look way different online. I would compare the hotel to a Motel 6 and hotel located in an area where they are building and off the downtown area. Looks sketchy and smells a little off my taste. Good for a quick one night stay, but next time I will pay the extra and stay at a Hyatt, Sheraton, or Westin. However, I do have to say the hotel room was clean, staff at check-in was very nice and helpful, and tv and wifi on point!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Very nice all around, a good deal.
- 5/5
Nice remodeled rooms, easy check-in. Great location on the edge of Downtown, low rates which include free parking- can’t beat it. My only issue is the AC units are quite loud- couldn’t hear the TV without blasting the volume.
- 1/5
I was not able to stay due to the fact that it was not safe for my daughter and I. There were a lot of drug addicts and we we harassed. It was very unsafe for us
- 4/5
Nice place all upgraded but it is in the hood
- 5/5
Stayed here for a concert at Arizona financial theater and it was perfect. Felt safe, clean, and comfy. Didn’t have to worry about parking at the venue and the walk only took us like 5 minutes and felt safe walking back even though it was dark
- 5/5
Always great! We stay here whenever we are in Phoenix..
- 3/5
My issue with this place is that it is not a hotel but a motel. If i had known this from the start i would have chosen somewhere else to stay.
- 5/5
Overall nice inside bad area outside a lot of homeless people
- 4/5
/morrow and this hotel is like 2 mi utes away
- 5/5
You can throw a rock and hit The Van Buren. Concerts are better when you just have to walk across the street at the end!
- 2/5
Not a hotel, 1 step above motel 6
- 4/5
The staff was super friendly and the location is super convenient for attending concerts downtown! Right across the street from the Van Buren.
- 3/5
Great location, that's it!
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and walking distance to stadium
- 4/5
Easy check in and out, service with a smile. Room has fridge and microwave. Only drawback was AC did not have temperature control so it got quite chiily at night.

We chose this property for the proximity to a concert venue. It’s a no frills budget hotel. A good value, clean, comfortable enough, with decent beds, large TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, everything in working order. Easy, friendly check-in.

Clean and comfortable.

You can tell it was an upgraded motel but for the best. It’s cute and clean, however, we needed to wash our clothes and the machine was a chained machine in the walkway. I wasnt expecting anything luxurious but didn’t feel expect homeless in the alley and around the corner and across the street. Great for the night.

It is ok for the price I paid, but still could be better.

Friendly staff

This property is close to Phoenix's Convention Center, 4 min drive, 16 min walk. I used "Waymo" for transportation since temperatures reached 108-112°F during my stay. The hotel is close to all amenities, and a 9 min drive to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Despite the heat and severe thunderstorm warnings, my stay at this hotel was VERY pleasant, and the staff is WONDERFUL!

Staff was nice rooms were clean

The room are cute, cool, and cozy. there's a nice pizza place across the road. it's a good walking distance for the venues downtown.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms! The room is a basic room with basic necessities but is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Considering the location, there was very little noise at night for us. We enjoyed our one night stay.

Room decor was cool

Always a wonderful place to stay

Little noisy in area but it’s downtown so that’s to be expected, great location to go to a show at Phoenix arena!
- 3/5
It was an okay hotel. Beds were adequate but we had live roaches from big ones to babies.
- 3/5
My flight landed super early and they were able to get me into a room right away (9am?) but overall I would not recommend. It was outside of town, lots of homeless people, no pool, didn't feel safe to walk around. I was there for just one night, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else.

Las habitaciones están increíbles, una Excelente opción, económica y céntrica, sin duda volvería

Perfect location for going to The Van Buren. Friendly staff, spacious room, and comfortable bed. Free and easy parking. Only downside was one of the body towels was stained and the uncommon areas need a clean.
- 3/5
Free parking made it very convenient. Friendly service.
- 5/5
Perfect location. Parking was great. Kay made sure i was safe..

I have stayed here many times. The Staff are kind, amazing and accommodating. It is a convenient location with easy parking too. The remodeled rooms are nice for the price.

A great hotel for a great price. I would totally come back in the future!
- 5/5
I liked that they had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in the rooms.

East 20 min walk to Footprint Center

Food is not available at the hotel itself but there are lots of nearby places to eat as well as delivery. The rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. The beds are nice, not hard as a rock. Great pillows too, soft and fluffy.. Great AC and that's important in Phoenix! Easy parking, right in front of the room. Overall it was a pleasant experience and would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Don't let the exterior fool you, the room was clean and comfortable. Fantastic for the value.

Outside looks sketchy but inside looks very nice

Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely renovated and clean. Just need to be aware of the surrounding neighborhoods👍

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Fridge and microwave were super cute. Retro style. Location was perfect for our stay. Beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Loved it! A little hard for my 4x4 but other than that it was amazing stay and very convenient
- 5/5
The hotel and staff was great! The area felt a bit weird - but as most of Phoenix did! The hotel is in walking distance pretty much to anything you possibly want to see in Phoenix!
- 5/5
Great little spot close to downtown, I’d stay again.
- 5/5
It was better than I thought
- 5/5
Great room! Great location for all our needs

Great beds and clean room. Had a very original price

Almost perfectly friendly staff. Location location. Ill stay again.

My family and I did a quick trip to Phoenix for the Shakira concert and stayed there for one night. The hotel lobby smelled really bad. The gentleman was very nice and the check in was fast and easy. The room was spacious. The room’s charging ports didn’t work, the room was clean overall. The area seemed sketchy and you could hear all the noise outside from traffic.
- 5/5
The staff was responsive and very helpful. Will definitely save this hotel for whenever I’m back in Phoenix.
- 4/5
It is a basic room that is convenient to downtown with free parking.
- 5/5
Booked just one night to catch a concert across the street at the Fillmore. This is a really nice find. Family run, nothing fancy, but clean, safe, and comfortable. Parking was no problem and there are quite a few restaurants within a couple of blocks. Really could not do better at this price point- I'll stay there again.
- 5/5
The bed, fridge & microwave were nice and TV set up was great too
- 4/5
Great place to stay very convenient
- 4/5
Great spot for catching a show. Cute touches in the room keep it interesting and I had free parking with my stay. I am not sure if you always get that but it was a perk. It is less than 15min walk to the arena.
- 3/5
Liked the new flooring. Seemed new and easy to clean. Bathroom could use a little work. Would recommend to change name to motel though and not a hotel
- 5/5
The couple who checked us in were very nice. The area was clean, I really like the aesthetic of the whole place. We went for a concert at the the PHX arena and it was within walking distance about 20 minutes. I also noticed the Van Buren is across the street.

Really nice place .. comfortable
- 5/5
Great experience
- 4/5
Staff were very kind and the room was neat. I requested an early checkin and they accepted with no problem.
- 5/5
The few complaints I have are that the shower door (which made a VERY loud squeaking sound) didn't properly close all the way so water would sometimes splash out and the parking was very limited and full by 5pm if you stay here during a busy weekend. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!
- 5/5
The price point is impressive. Not glamorous on the exterior, but kind check-in man and quiet, clean and free parking/wi-fi. Plenty of towels, refrigerator, microwave - much appreciated when trying to be economical and solo female.
- 4/5
Housekeeping went the extra mile for me. I am handicapped and they were very accommodating!!
- 5/5
Great location in downtown, easy parking and good sized rooms . Really warm welcome. Thanks .
- 5/5
The interior was awesome, the area wasnt too bad but the Van Buren and Crescent Ballroom nearby + the weekend of Fan Fusion had people running around all night.
- 5/5
the one common concern and stressful is the lack of miss calulated parking for 20 cars with 40 rooms
- 5/5
It was really good for the price
- 5/5
So pleasantly surprised for this price and location. Clean, comfy, and kitch. Other hotels spend and charge big bucks to create the the fun retro vibe this “hole-in-the-wall” gem comes by naturally. Will definitely stay here again!
- 3/5
Bathroom door does not close. Much noise in the neighborhood. No screen when you open the bathroom window. Otherwise very convenient to the music venues.
- 4/5
Staff upgraded our reservation because we had stayed once before. Very nice people who run this place.
