Everything here is perfect. It’s a hop, skip & jump away from Sky Harbor. The cleanliness, comfort, transportation and the parking to the airport is the reason why we will come back over and over again.

The room was clean, comfortable beds and close to the places we needed to go downtown. Would stay again!

Another disappointment was the removal of the free buffet breakfast. I had no idea it was discontinued. There wasn’t even any free coffee in the lobby. That is pretty sad. The rooms were nothing special. Very basic. The hallways were extremely hot. Also, there wasn’t even any a sewer smell in a certain area. I will not return here.

The hotel is beautiful! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The restaurant's food was top-tier and reasonably priced. My final bill had a charge for $15 for "Restaurant All Day." I have no idea what that charge was for, as we paid for our food at the restaurant when we ordered. I called to inquire and I'm expecting a follow-up call soon.

The only complaints would be that the AC took a bit long to cool down the room, which is understandable when it was 103 degrees out, and the bed had a depression in it that was quite noticeable when sitting down in it, but hardly noticeable when sleeping... the intended purpose of a bed is exactly that so no harm there. Staff is amazing! Helpful and friendly. Extra pillows and towels arrived in less than 5 mins. Rooms are very spacious and air conditioning works great.

No breakfast, personal were professional . Vetting the guests, and in forcing the policy of the no smoking. Several day during my stay the hotel was used as a crack house. Several times the smell work me up and inundated the hallway.

Customer service at check in was great! The grounds and the rooms were clean. AC unit was loud and woke us up throughtout the night when it kicked on. Restaraunt was closed but we were there on a holiday wknd. Overall a good stay and would recommend to others

I would definitely stay at this location again.

I chose this property because of the pool and hot tub so that was disappointing. I get tired of this being the case at so many hotels. I paid more for this one to have the amenities. The staff was very helpful and friendly and I appreciated their help with a few things. They get 5 stars all around.

The A/C was good, my room was terrible next to the elevator shaft. I could hear and feel the vibrations from the elevator all day and night long. I was going to stay an extra day, but they tried to gouge me. And they weren’t very accommodating.

Pool was ice cold which was to be expected but the hot tub was down. The a.c. didnt kerp the room cool so i was up all night, when it cooled the room it sounded like someone sharpening a blade which was loud and honestly kinda creepy. The shower looked nothing like the picture and i had to crouch to get my head under. Im only 5'8"

The room cleanliness was good. They had to replace a light bulb on the bedside table, and it was a little dark in the room. They did not have a good breakfast; they were out of several items on the menu. We had to go somewhere else for breakfast the first day and the second day was the same with items not being available on the menu.

We flew in for a concert, our room was not ready when we arrived for checkin (wasn’t ready for over an hour and a half), we ended up in 2 full sized beds instead of the king we reserved - so that we could change and leave for the concert (which we left later than we wanted to due to this). We were given “breakfast vouchers” for 6:30 the next morning, but no breakfast was ready @6:30 and we had to leave to the airport. They were completely unprepared for the weekend (it caught them off-guard)!

What breakfast? Tbedside clock had wrong time-could not be corrected. Heater/cooler ran all night, very loudly.

We had added a second night prior to arrival, and the front desk expected us to check out and check back in, which was a major inconvenience, and they finally agreed to take care of it over the phone once I re-checked in on the app. The parking around the corner and across the street was inconvenient. The safe in the room would not lock. The restaurant's breakfast service was terrible. We needed to get to an event, and it took forever to get our food, which was mediocre. Not our best stay at a Hilton.

No operating restaurant or bar. Bottled water in room was free for Diamond Club members only and was $3.00 for everyone else. Nice Samsung flat screen TV in room, but the streaming service kept going down, making it difficult to watch anything.

Moving our son to GCU. Perfect location from the school and in a nice area. Convenience was unmatched and the service all the way around was excellent!

There were issues with the television reception, the layout was really weird. The cream in the room was spoiled housekeeping did fix it the next day. It was not a pleasant place to stay, and we will not be back.

Clean, room was nice, staff was friendly The only downside was that we got stuck in the parking lot because our parking ticket wasn’t working. we ended up having to pay $15 for parking in order to get out, even though we had gotten our ticket validated in the hotel. We tried calling for help but nobody answered. Later, when we returned, The hotel said they couldn’t refund us. Not a huge deal, but we were in a hurry that morning so it was a little annoying.

This used to be the Marriot and now it’s double tree . All the rooms since the Marriot that are the furthest to the end have really bad ac . Thought they would have fixed that now that it is double tree . Just came front there over the weekend and same dam thing hot

I did not like the fact, then it said free breakfast vouchers, and the breakfast was priced way too high. We still had to pay the difference of the price of the food that didn't make any sense.Whatsoever i also expected to have a double room, not having the couch facing the bed.That was odd

The pool was empty when we arrived, the listing specifically stated the pool is open. I usually always call beforehand to double-check that the pool is open but was overwhelmed and just trusted the listing. I'm super disappointed. I was traveling alone with 2 young kids in Phoenix, Arizona to visit my dad at St. Joseph's hospital (he is in long-term care currently). The hotel having a pool is always one of my top criteria for booking the room. So, to find out that the pool was closed after spending the last few hours hanging out in a hospital was incredibly disappointing. There was also construction going on throughout the entire area, from the lobby to my room, and our door stuck really bad.

No running hot water for our showers, everything else was fine. They were undergoing renovations, so conditions were understandable.

Rooms were clean and spacious Everything outside of the room is in disarray. The doors stick bad and are loud, the hotel under total reconstruction. Price should have been cheaper for the state of the hotel.

Lobby and bar were nice. Bar had excellent food. Morning breakfast was good. Parking was free and convenient being right across the street, although not very secure. Staff members were responsive to any requests. Pool and jacuzi were nice. Room had a small refrigerator. Room was very dated and had not been updated in many years. Room carpet and flooring were dirty. Room was much smaller than pictures lead you to believe. Room was very cold and the heater did not work very well.

My room was easy to find, right off the elevator, and I was able to turn the A/C down to where I needed it, and upon checkout, my incidentals fee was returned VERY promptly, which was wonderful and unexpected. I haven't had very many experiences with staying in hotels, so this was a great first time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Its a Hilton...I had to pay my last parking bill...$15.00 to get out of the parking lot. Too far and runnig late to walk ALL THE WAY BACK TO COMPLAIN.

Had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown this past weekend. When I arrived the AC in my room wasn't working properly they sent someone to look at it that afternoon. It could not be fixed right away and I was offered a new room. They upgraded me to a King suite which was great! The room was very clean and had all the essentials I needed. I went down to the bar on Friday night and had dinner, the Bartender was very friendly and took good care of me! I finished my business early in Arizona and asked to check out early and had no issues at all! I was very happy with my stay and will definitely stay here again when I visit Arizona!

We were in room 218, and the valve that allowed transfer of water from the main downspout to the shower head did not work, and so most of the water went down the spout, and the shower pressure was very weak

The toilet was running as we walked in the room. We had to put our hand in the back of the toilet and lift the chain to flush. In the middle of the night the mini fridge started humming. The lotion bottle in the bathroom was half empty. The shower had mold spots

Worst stay at a Hilton ever. Room was poorly lit, laid out horribly, cramped, the bathtub stopper was broken and laying to the side of the tub. The staff was rude and uncaring. Sad to the name Hilton has fallen so far. Never again, Hilton has lost my business.

The door to the room would fall shut hard, shaking the walls. The bathroom door would get jammed so would have to use the bathroom with the door ajar. Bathroom had no ventilation/fan, so all the steam from the warm shower stayed within.

Hotel was pretty old and not updated, the room had an old cigarette smell. The bathroom fan didn’t work nor the water pressure from shower was not strong. You could also hear the wind from outside window… only good thing was we’re close to activities.

The people were very helpful and nice. The room was nice and worked just fine for what I was in town for. The room had all of the amenities I needed. The only worry I had was that, apparently, the fire alarm went off the morning I was leaving and we didn't hear it on our floor. It also created enough confusion that they did not get around to validating my parking after I talked to the front desk and I had to pay the $15 for parking over night. It would not prevent me from staying there again. A little overpriced like most hotels nowadays.

The people were very helpful and nice. The room was nice and worked just fine for what I was in town for. The room had all of the amenities I needed. The only worry I had was that, apparently, the fire alarm went off the morning I was leaving and we didn't hear it on our floor. It also created enough confusion that they did not get around to validating my parking after I talked to the front desk and I had to pay the $15 for parking over night. It would not prevent me from staying there again. A little overpriced like most hotels nowadays.

Just the parking was hard for my mom. It was a long walk for her. Maybe offer rides from the parking to the front door. Otherwise all was well! Beautiful decorations for Christmas. Beautful property and rooms! Louis at the front desk was great!

Convenient and clean

The loudest elevator in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Major mechanical issues that shake the whole building. It sounds like someone operating a jackhammer in the middle of the night.

I thought the room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly but the water pressure was not good in the sink or toilets. Within our three night stay, we couldn't flush the toilet for a whole day. We had also asked for new sheets and towels after the 2nd day and were given a bag of towels, set on the bathroom counter and no clean sheets.

Staff friendly and knowledgeable, very helpful. The breakfast was great, beds were comfortable. Next time I will request not be near the elevator, got really loud during the night.

We liked the hotel ... restaurants are always a plus when we are traveling and we look for such. The restaurant/food service availability could have been better but all in all the room was nice and clean as was the common areas.

It was your typical stay at a well managed Hilton GI. Till, you try to walk around the room and you are walking a shin minefield. The wood queen bed frames used for the full mattresses are terrible. Three people in this room and all three hit the corners of the bed frames at least twice. Everything else,a very pleasant stay at the Hilton

The staff made no effort to help me with my luggage or even walk the luggage carrier cart out to my car. Poor customer service. Every trash can near the pool was full and overflowing. On my second day the water went out. The staff did not offer me another room in another tower that did have water. The staff did not offer me a water bottle so I could wash my hands or brush my teeth. After I requested water I was provided with two bottles for sanitary reasons. Barely an apology for the huge inconvenience and no effort to have offered me to move into a room that had water. The fire by the pool was nice. Bartender was a kind lady. She offered time just to sit at the bar and watch TV even if I wasn't drinking. Location was good. It was very close to the building I needed to be at for the work event.

shower was horrible. water from shower had no pressure and the shower head was always falling down. room was always cold even if i turned off the AC. the pillows could have been more firm. very few TV channel options.

Overall stay was fine. Just three issues: (i) the bathroom is way too small and has no fan; (ii) parking is far from hotel; more concerned with women walking at night; and (iii) why have shuttle if it only operates M-F from 7-2? Ridiculous. Bad customer service.

Parking across the street was okay but not optimal.

This was unbelievable!!!! So dirty. The thermostat was broken. no AC. We are in the desert. Filthy countertops. I can't believe how horrible this stay was. Smells like old cigarette smoke. Someone left incense sticks stuck in the door. Give me a break. NEVER BE BACK!

Layout was a little odd having to walk outside to get to the room. Room was clean but bathroom sucked. Clearly there were repairs made to tiles in the shower, door opens right in front of the toilet which felt like it was in the tub because it was so close. Definitely needed updating.

Pearla and Steve were amazing at check in. However...you advertise you have a restaurant? We waited an hour for a burger and fries at the bar. One bar tender, ine cook? Horrible service on the hotels part. Not the bartender or cooks. But the hhotels!!!Theresrestraunt

Loved the environment, made it nice to be away from home.

Room was clean and nice. Wanted a little more from the balcony since it was only plastic lawn chairs and a square plastic table. The bar was good the bartender just needed to be a little more organized.

I had booked a room with 2 beds, due to moving my college student into her dorm. My reservation was given away and I had to utilize a room with a pull out sofa bed. I was disappointed to hear from other guests in the premises that they had two beds even though they were traveling alone.

Standard and average hotel. Not too good, not too bad. Staff is nice. The pool is why you will stay here, and close at 10p. The area is why i will not come back, its lame and boring and you have to walk a lot.

Evything was ok, but it had No Smoking signs everywhere, yet the hallways smelled really strong of Marijuana

Very nice, clean property in a central location. The staff extremely inviting. I really appreciated the free parking and especially the 12pm check out time. It will definitely be my first choice next time out there.
