The room was spacious and comfortable. There’s a lot of surface space and I loved the large window. Everything was fairly clean. The location is perfect if you’re going to Chase field. There are tons of restaurants and bars in walking distance but the true gem is the bar on the 4th floor of the hotel, Little Rituals. Staff there is outstanding as well as their drinks. (They are not employed by the hotel) The rail system has stops a block away making it an easy and cheap alternative to get to and from the airport.

It was a fine stay except the room smelled really strongly of sweat and body odor as soon as we walked in the first night and all of the other nights. The bathtub did not work either, it was constantly draining and we couldn’t use it for baths. It was a huge let down since my mom really wanted to use the bathtub.

Side note they had a major water issue affecting elevators but was communicated ahead of time and they offered to let you out of your reservation. So the property wasn't in tiptop shape but it didn't affect our stay and we had a wonderful weekend.

Construction workers were starting at 7 am and they weren’t quiet. Asking staff for another room on another floor was met with “they are working on every floor and moving throughout the building. I ended up checking out early and booking a different hotel.

I liked that it was close in proximity of the venue we were going to. I only gave this star a 1 due to the proximity of the venue, but the rest was awful. The mattresses and pillows are the most uncomfortable we ever experienced. They need to do less renovating in the halls and more investing into the mattresses and pillows, seriously. The hotel was beautiful and in a good location. We chose it because of the indoor pool.That was small, but lovely. It was disappointing that no breakfast was included, but nice that there was a bistro in the lobby. The room was really small. Overall, not a great value for the price, but the staff was friendly and helpful.

The whole wedding party stayed at this hotel. It was such a disappointment the customer service of the staff and how they handled the situation. For two days we had no hot water, so we couldn't shower because the water was ice cold. We were not informed about it so we just found out that the water was ice cold when we were about to get ready for the wedding. Its ridiculous that we were not inform, we could have made other arrangements to shower and get ready somewhere else. At the same time you stay at a hotel to sleep and shower and we could not shower. We went down to talk to the staff to see what happen they then informed us that the boiler was out but it would be fixed. But again the second day there was no hot water. When we talk to the manager about this his said there was nothing he could do because we booked through expedia. Horrible customer service and the internet was down throughout the stay. In addition to this issue, the internet was also out of order. Again, the staff failed to mention this during check in. For the extremely high nightly rate they charge we would have been best served elsewhere.

Elevator wasn’t working properly. They up sold a $50 fee for things we “might charge” to the room like $45 valet parking or restaurant items. It was not clear if this would be refunded to my credit card after we left without spending that money. The adjacent parking garage was dirty and also cost $40.

The only issues we had is the room was a little warm, although the thermostat said it was on and at 65 it still felt warm. The bathroom sink was a bit clogged and we noticed a lot of the outlets weren’t working

The hotel is right across the street from chase field, restaurants, and phx arena. Very convenient. I had the do not disturb placard on my door and staff opened my door before we checked out. Yes the placard fell on the floor but policy (as stated by Patrick Washington who works the front desk) is for staff to knock loudly three times and wait for a response BEFORE they open the door. Patrick said that he spoke to the staff and said,” She’s soft spoken so she wasn’t loud, but she did announce herself before going in. I did speak to her about being louder and told her that she should wait for a response before going in.” I was standing by the mirror which is right by the door, she didn’t announce herself and when she realized there were people inside she walked away. Didn’t apologize, didn’t knock again, and didn’t take accountability. We attended the diamondbacks game the night before and slept in. We still had an hour before check out time. I was getting ready for my day, what if I was showering or getting dressed? 100% not acceptable. Patrick apologized and refunded half of our stay. I wonder if they’ll actually do something about it before they do it to someone who is actually in a vulnerable state.

This hotel is in a nice, lively, and convenient area. Stayed here for the breezy bowl and was able to walk back and miss out on all the traffic. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The only downside, which is a big one for me, is the AC in the rooms. I can attest to the previous reviews that the rooms are quite hot, we had to order a fan to cool down the room. I couldn’t imagine staying here in peak Arizona heat.

Our room was freezing so we told the front desk and they will look into it. The parking lot is to expensive..

Property was clean. The light in the restroom behind the mirror kept flashing. The shower would not turn completely off unless you put some force on it. It kept dripping and left a puddle if you didn’t close the shower door all the way. House keeping tried going into the room before check out even though the do not disturb sign was out. We called and asked for an extended checkout and was told that was fine up until 12, but housekeeping kept knocking after being told we were okay until 12. The location was very convenient and the room overall was very clean. Parking is not included. I couldn’t find that on the website. They do offer valet parking.

The room was nice, clean, and very close to the event center. The parking and getting around was a disaster, and the elevators in the hotel AND the garage we used were out of service, plus I know its not affiliated with you, BUT you do recommend them, the Luhrs garage attendant for our concert night just sat on her butt, not helping anyone & I get that its hot but wear your uniform jacket so people are aware of you.

It was walking distance to our event There was only one coffee cup in the room. We had to call twice to bring bedding for the pull out couch. The pullout was old and very uncomfortable ?

We usually use this branch of hotels but it was our first time with this location. As soon as we got into the room we realized that there were no sheets provided for the sofa bed, just an empty mattress. In addition, the handle to the toilet felt loose and could break at any moment. But I think what really frustrated us, was after a long day the TV turned off on in the middle of watching it.

Beautiful property and very close to the Phoenix Arena! Staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in was easy. Just when it got busy, there was a line for the elevators, but it was no big deal really.

Me and my party loved the location of the area, really nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in. The only down side was that there was no microwave in the that we were staying in. But stay was a 10 out of 10

We were nervous walking around at night. Parking costs an extra 45 a night, not something we were expecting. When we tried calling to see if we could check in early, the phones just rang and rang. No one would pick up. And when we got to the hotel even though there was one person in front of us, it took almost 20 minutes to get checked in. Chase Field was only a ten minute walk and that was pretty awesome. Debating on whether we would stay here again. With the cost of parking, might be cheaper to get a hotel further away, in a safer area, and just uber to the game. Something to consider.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel when seeing a concert at the AZ Financial Theater. Is was very convenient. Great food options closed by too.

I loved how friendly the staff was making us feel welcomed. The hotel was perfect walking distance to the concert we attended. Great atmosphere and hallways and rooms were very clean. The only thing I’d love more if breakfast closed an out later at 11am.

30 minutes into our stay we noticed a bed bug in one of the beds. We went and told the staff. The first person we told was super polite, moved us to a new room, and told us we would either get a heavily discounted stay or get our room fully compensated. The next day when we were checking out, they were not helpful, told us that they would call us later to let us know what was going on, but there were no notes about the issue. Then when I got a call back, they couldn’t do anything for us because we used Expedia to book the hotel. So not only did I have a bed bug in my room, but I couldn’t sleep in the new room because of the fear of bed bugs in the new bed, just to end up being lied to about what the outcome of our stay would be. Be forewarned, and make sure to check your bed for bugs!!

Rooms ac was off when we got here. According to the thermostat it was 86 in here. Set it for 65 and it got to 74 by the time we woke up. Roughly 16 hrs of non stop running because the air was off and it still never got to temp or close. Shower curtain had hair and someone’s spit on it.

We went to a WNBA game and it was just a 4-5 min walk to the stadium. Plenty of places to eat,(walking distance), our favorite was Zen Thai restaurant bout a 5 min walk from the hotel. There is also a CVS and a grocery store close by. So if you are going to a baseball or WNBA game stay here and walk to your event. The only parking they have is valet ($45)(daily) and they roll up the sidewalk at 9pm, so getting food after that time, GOOD LUCK!!!

Small indoor pool, its a small property downtown and the pool is inside... Everything was well maintained and service was excellent! Very close to the Arena, shopping restaurants and sports venues.

The hotel had no hot water. Yes we did get 15,000 extra points credited back, but to wake up to try to take a shower was not a good result of our stay.

Great time. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location. Sucked that the cocktail bar wasn’t “part of the hotel”. You couldn’t get a drink or a wine even just to bring to your room. They had a beer fridge you could pick something out of for a cost. So that was definitely different. The area was good tho.

The pull out bed was so uncomfortable as to be unusable. The music from the club kept us awake. The service was fine. Everyone was friendly and they offered to move us, but at that point we just didn’t have it in us to do that. Bathroom was a little rough around the edges.

We stayed here because we love Marriott and always enjoy courtyard hotels for the actual courtyard, except with this downtown pocation there was no outside courtyard. We also stayed two weeks before Christmas and theres no holiday decorations at all, and inquired at the front desk with answer that its new policy they will not be decorating. Very disappointing for our holiday away from home stay. The bed is usually my most favorite part of a Marriott stay, snd this was the hardest most uncomfortable bed, and our room 810 was so noisy, we think due to the water main outside the room in the ceiling. The rest of the room was great, a nice little couch, great large window that faced the Chase Field stadium. The location was superb, close to so many venues (bowling, comedy club, CVS pharmacy, Frys grocery store, bars & cocktail lounges, everything within 10 minutes or less.

I thought the area would be a bit more tranquil because the hotel appeared in close proximity to the Phenix Art Museum and the Japanese Friendship Garden but it was not.

It appears someone used our room # to charge items from the market as we paid for ours via card. Otherwise the stay was good.

The bed was comfortable and great but for the price they didn’t offer you breakfast and had to pay for it, also the shower was looking like it needed attention and pool was nice. Overall upset with how it went..

Front desk staff at check in was very rude. She pulled up my reservation and said “two queen beds right?” and I told her “no I reserved a king bed”. She asked me for proof that I reserved a king bed so I showed her my confirmation. She then proceeded to tell me “well we don’t have any king beds available”. I am 6’6 so I was very uncomfortable during my 4 night stay. Overall customer service at check in was bad. I went down one evening to buy a water and a beer and the 2 people at the front desk seemed burdened to have to get off the videos they were watching on their phones to help check me out.

The shower had a constant drip. The layout Of the bathroom is odd and hard to use. The flat sheets instead of a duvet are uncomfortable. The room doesn’t get cold enough. The elevators are really slow.

My Fiancé's Birthday weekend stay was so awesome. Comfy & relaxing setting in the whole hotel with an awesome view from our room!! The night life has some great entertainment spots. 5min walk to Copper Blues, Stand Up Live,Bowling, & Bad Ass coffee. We'll definitely see you next time!!

Was close to event venue, easy parking, quiet place to stay

Parking prices are high…

Hotel was under construction. Notified 48 hours before arrival and advised I could not make changes within 72 hours of arrival

Great stay!

Within walking distance to our destination event. Clean comfy room with enough space for 4 people to rest comfortably without being on top of each other the whole trip. Thank you!

While getting in and out of this property and parking is not convenient, I find myself returning whenever I want to stay at an affordable hotel in downtown Phoenix within walking distance to all my favorite bars. The bar on property, Little Rituals, is SO gorgeous and a wonderful place to enjoy drinks with friends.

I would stay here again

Room smelled like smoke but they would not relocate us to another room. Construction surrounding the facility is quite irritating. Location is not great. Close to the ballparks, but not much else around for a family. The lobby and rooms are pretty nice. Parking was very expensive, although that may be true in the entire area. The valet did provide good service.

Excellent stay comfy and convenient

Nice big room with very comfortable beds. It was pretty expensive to park the car by Valet overnight but that is my only complaint.

Did not like the pool and the fact that there was no parking you should not have to pay to park where you are staying

Great customer service

Had a great stay only thing was they put us in a handicapped room at 1st we directly really like so we asked to move room and they accommodated right down the hall.And they charge $43 for valet parking that's the only option for parking

Lot of construction work going on, so being unfamiliar with the area. GPS wasn’t helpful and I missed the turn for the park structure due to the construction. Overall my stay was amazing and room were amazing.

Had a great time.

The only downside of this hotel is the pricing of the parking.
