What you expect from a Comfort Inn. You get a hairdryer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot etc. Computer access in lobby as well as breakfast. This particular location is convenient for travelers because it's right off the 17 freeway in North Phoenix. Staff are very helpful and polite. The immediate neighborhood is a bit sketchy so would not go jogging. Not a long term stay place.

Had a room with an older tub and shower. Very high sides. Fortunately there was a grab bar. Breakfast was great! Staff friendly. Air conditioner noisy like most hotel rooms. Older bathroom made it look not as clean.

The room appeared clean but poorly maintained. A finish that had been applied to the bathtub was badly peeling, by inches, around most of the edge. Areas in the ceiling had been poorly patched and painted where light fixtures had been removed. A cushion on the sofa sleeper had a bare area in the upholstery. The telephone didn't work. The complementary breakfast was good, however, considering the modest price of the hotel rooms. And the air conditioning worked exceptionally well and was relatively quiet for its kind of below window unit. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The pool area could have been cleaner. And we wish there would have been more protein options at breakfast. Overall it was nice.

The property is easy to access and the hotel looks really nice.....the breakfast was good and the shower was nice.....the bed on the other hand sucked I cud feel the springs in my hip and back all night it sucked to sleep on I woke up sore as hell

We did express concerns to the staff about the tub in our room. Apparently it was sprayed over for some reason and the paint was peeling around the top edges of the tub. I have never in my life seen this anywhere-not in anyone's home or a hotel. We also had trouble with our room keys. It would only work after three tries. The staff had the locks cleaned but it did not help. I overheard another customer complain their room key did not work to let them into the pool area.

The morning front desk gal was very nice. The night guy , I think we woke him.Tried 3 rooms all were bad.No smoke alarm,1 light bulb out of 4 lamps,lamp shade was filthy,nail polish or paint on chairs ,tables,floors and counters.Carpet just horrible. All the surfaces were dirty you should have seen the cloth.Deadbolt didn't work. 1 light out of 3 in bathroom,mold on ceiling, bathroom bar and shower bar broke,graffiti behind the toilet on the wall. The towels were not white..sent to second room smelled like a bar ,so smokey. Third room broken windows with tape on it no top lock and the carpet looked like someone had spilled all over like in a bar . It really could be a nice hotel if you cleaned it up.Keep your weekly rates folks in one building would be much better also.

However there are no frills here. The rooms are well used and need renovation. Parking lot is well lit but some rather sketchy fellows here and there passing through. The front desk girl was nice and helpful and efficient. Breakfast is cheap and very processed. Did not have any.

Stayed here with the family after flying into PHX late, before driving to Sedona the next morning. The hotel is not nice / run down, and is in a seemingly sketchy area with sketchy people around the property. No cold water in the bathroom. The breakfast spread was a nice effort, but the food didn’t taste that good (mostly the very bland eggs and underwhelming sausage). Oh and the coffee wasn’t very good.

We ended up not staying here. My wife got sick and we had to cancel our trip to Phoenix. Rather than be a no show, I called and gave notice in plenty of time to enable them to rent the room to someone else. That didn’t matter as they refused to refund my money. When we reschedule our trip to Phoenix, we won’t be staying at their motel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by several aspects of the experience. The breakfast menu was excellent, everything was fresh, well prepared, and offered a great variety to start the day right. You can really tell they pay attention to quality and presentation.

Comfort Inn normally are a lot higher quality. This place was very un clean as far as the room sink and bathroom was plugged corners of the floor and bathroom or dirty as well as the shower area. housekeeping didn’t clean room or replace towels without us asking this is like a 5 to 6 star hotel we paid almost $500 for three nights in the middle of the week expecting much more.

We like staying here for spring training as the location is good. The rooms are definitely older, but it is clean and consistent. The staff was excellent in being welcoming and fulfilling requests we had. Breakfast has the waffle makers and consistently had scrambled eggs and potatoes. Some days had sausages as well, but not all. The other continental breakfast items were always available.

This hotel is in need of updating. Very old and overpriced.

The only good parts about staying here is the breakfast with lots choices and the staff is courteous. We didn't like the following: the pillows smell, beds are soft and appears to be beyond the useful life, low quality soap and shampoo, chair for the desk is almost unusable and needed to be replace, and exterior landscaping needed a good cleaning.

It was overhyped. We had paid in advance, but upon arrival we decided to seek alternative accommodation as the bedding and overall decor was poor. It stank of fried food. We didn’t even stay in the room beyond a minute.

Staff much more pleasant this trip. Breakfast is good. Had a foul odor coming from shower drain that permeated room if you didn’t keep bathroom door closed. Also key for door not working even when exchanged.

The room was very poorly maintained. We paid almost $300 for a hotel that should have a 1 star rating. The lobby furniture is stained and shabby. But we were tired and had prepaid so we stayed. The room was clean but in terrible shape. Not what I expected from a Comfort Inn.

I couldn’t keep the bedding in place, had to keep adjusting it all night. I asked if there were other sheets, regular cotton sheets and they said they didn’t have any. I stayed three nights and did not sleep any of the three nights because of the sheets on the bed. Also, the thermostat in our room did not work properly. I would try to get it cooler during the night and the call would only run for a couple minutes and then stop, so it was too hot to sleep well. Also, we have a small dog and I was told we had to pay $25 per night for him. Most places we go there is a fee the first night and then none the following nights if we stay more than one night.

Nice staff It was not clean. Dog hair everywhere and stains everywhere including the ceiling. Room had a horrible smell as well

When i checked out, the gal asked me how was my stay. I shared with her the pillows the bed was so comfortable so very crucial. The only thing missing for me was the soft warm blanket. Breakfast was missing sausage or bacon. The gal said some days they have them but not everyday. I feel they should be everyday. That's what completes the breakfast. Eggs were delicious potatoes were delicious. N/ A

Elevator broken down first 3 days of our stay. Room is horrible disrepair. Carpet pulling apart and tear trees. Bathroom disgusting, horrific temporary repairs made way for mold, mildew and just nasty places all over. Floor sticky. Curtains falling down.

I was not contacted, upon checking in we were notified that the room we reserved which was 2 queen beds were sold out and only had rooms with 1 king bed for my family. The bath tube was cracked and nasty. Under the sink the wall had a leak and you could see all the water damage. The molding wasn’t even attached to the wall anymore

There was no hot water for our entire stay, the grounds were dirty and the matresses stained. There were homeless everywhere making it unsafe to be out alone at night. The staff however were very kind and professional.

There was dust coming out of the bathroom fan falling onto the floor and toilet and saw two dead cockroaches on bathroom floor. Bathroom mirror, counter & sink had not been wiped off or cleaned in who knows how long. The back stairwell of the building were covered in bird feces and cigarette butts. The computer chair in the room was broken and unstable and multiple outlets did not work

Breakfast was a nice selection and good. Chose this location because it was close to where I was going and easy to get to. Had a couple crickets in the room but it was taken care of.

The hospitality was INCREDIBLE! I am a southern gal and very much appreciated all the little things that went into making sure my stay was comfortable. The gals that set up the dinning room in the morning take PRIDE in the cleanliness and preparedness of the dinning room. Even to the water tower that they put by the front desk freshened with lemon and lime…chefs kiss! The gals that handle the room turnover are AMAZING! Everything done with care, everything done with comfort in mind. The front desk staff was so welcoming and warm and put up with my 1000 questions about shopping and dinning! I would send my momma there! Kiddos to a team well trained in the art of hospitality! And it is an art!

This location worked great for vacinity of the airport. Dining options in walking distance. There was no shampoo or body wash for the shower but I did pack my own.

What pushed me over edge was breakfast starts at 7am and I went in at 6:50 to get milk for my daughter who had a soccer game and we had to leave at 7 to get to it. The lady at front desk was EXTREMELY rude and said that breakfast starts at 7 but it was the way she said it. So after all the things that were wrong they couldn’t allow me to get milk that was sitting out for my daughter? Very poor attitude of worker. Will never stay here again will go to my tried and true Sleep Inn Mayo Clinic location.

So after all the things that were wrong they couldn’t allow me to get milk that was sitting out for my daughter? Very poor attitude of worker. Will never stay here again will go to my tried and true Sleep Inn Mayo Clinic location.

It was comfortably but the shower leaked under the floor boards in the hall. We think the shower cartridge was defective.

Good hotel in a sketchy area, the girl in the front desk was friendly, breakfast was simple but tasty (waffles, eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt, apples and bananas), the room was comfortable, very close to a Costco and a Walmart

Horrible customer service, overnight staff refused to help us when we asked for a different room due to air conditioning not working and room reeking of cigarettes. We were told that the hotel was full (even though she didn’t even get up to check to see if a room was available) refused to find us an air freshener for the smell stating she’s “overnight and doesn’t know where housekeeping keeps anything” When we asked for a trash can for our room she stated I don’t know where to find one for you and then proceeded to empty out a trash can behind the desk and hand us that one. Complained and made rude remarks the entire duration of our conversation. The ice machine has been broken for 2 months and the vending machine to buy waters, other drinks, and snacks was broken and unable to accept payment. No washcloths in our room, when we asked housekeeping for some they told us we (my husband and I) that we had to share one washcloth. Visible urine stains on the carpet from previous pets stays. The managers fought against giving us a refund but thankfully hotels.com advocated for me and we were able to at least get a partial refund despite the horrendous customer service and quality of the room.

Screaming Child at checkin with what appeared to be a homeless woman using the bag cart to push her items around the lobby and outside building. Screaming and arguing in what looked to be the breakfast area and staff just ignored. That should have been our sign to just turn around and walk out. Marijuana smell though out the building and around pool area. Just mismanaged and lack of care/effort from staff to do anything about it. Unfortunately if you want a nice hotel you have to pay for it. No such thing as a good deal these days. Rather upset with myself for putting my family in a place like this. We are in the area for a gymnastics competition and this was the closest hotel. Won't make this mistake again.

Staff are polite and courteous. The breakfast was more than I thought. Make your own waffle. Scrambled eggs with fried potatoes. Yogurt, fruit juice and coffee. I enjoyed my stay here.

It started out okay but as soon as i left they started charging my card random amounts until my account was empty

Food options are not diverse in every morning, they seemed the same but all are fresh and good tastes. Beds are not comfortable as it’s quite high .

We didn't stay. The front desk gave us cards that wouldn't work on the first unit so we asked for new keys, and she gave us keys to a new unit. They also didn't work. She even tried a 3rd time herself, but still didn't work, she then gave us cards to a third unit (attempt #4) that didn't work, but good thing as there was already someone staying there that came out when we tried using the card. We finally got a card that worked with a unit on the ground level and when we went in it smelled like cigarettes and had dirty towels on the floor. We've stayed there before without incident, but that was the last straw on this visit. We were nice about it, but asked for a refund which we were told we would recieve and booked another location at a different hotel, but I'm finding out they billed us anyway for the first night. I don't know if I'll ever book with them again. Super disappointed!!!

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was awesome. I didn't get to try the breakfast but next time I will try the breakfast. I really enjoyed everything about my stay at the Comfort Inn.

Very old property and all equipment was too noisy

Outdated and needs overall improvement and attention to homeless in the area. The floor was disgustingly in the room. Sticky and dirty.

We left early the next day!

We were out all day sight seeing and we came back to find our door was cracked open. Luckily nothing was missing but that was careless of housekeeper. Breakfast needs to be better. The sausage looked uncooked.

We arrived at our hotel 2hrs. early and they let us in. Room was clean and didn’t have any odor. A little out dated but great for the price. Next time I’m in the area I would consider rebooking.

The staff were friendly and breakfast is good.

Was considered a non smoking room, but smelled strongly of smoke. Caulk in bathtub was moldy. Door trim in bathroom was rusted. Floors were sticky upon arrival. Enjoyed how comfy the beds were, and breakfast was decent. We were able to sleep here, but it would not have been enjoyable if we were doing anything else.

1. Shower temperature control was terrible. To get reasonable water pressure, valve had to be set to too hot to shower. A valve that allows you to mix hot and cold water gives much better control. 2. The toilet seat was very loose. It should have been noticed and corrected. 3, The desk chair cover is torn and the arm rest flop around to the point where it's pretty annoying. 4. The seal around the toilet base looks gross; feels third world rather than what is expected of a Comfort Inn.

Homeless around the hotel both day and night. Floors were sticky. Bed was very uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in the mattress.

I encountered several different issues. The staff was nice offered us a second room , but still due to same issues, of cleanliness , my family and I did not stay.

Shower pressure was too high, felt like bullets to skin, the bathroom vent was not working so the steam from the shower made the bathroom unbearable, the water pools in the shower and floods the outside of the actual shower so constantly had to use towels to get water up. AC in the bedroom felt like fan, no cool air.

I always stay here because of the staff and location. However, the conditon of the hotel rooms are rundown. The suite I was in had water damage and peeling paint on the ceiling. Outlets didn't work. The bathroom sink didnot have a stopper or anything covering the drain. It smelled very bad. The fridge did not have a seperate freezer area. With all this I will return.

Leaking roof wires, exposed from the ceiling no pool or Jacuzzi available shut down by the city and they would not give me a refund when we did not. They our second night.

Old hotel that needs a lot of work

I liked how clean it was and everything was so close by.

We arrived and there were crack heads and bums all over the parking lot. Digging in dumpsters and just roaming around. It was so dirty outside with garbage everywhere. The side door to the hotel was broken and unfortunately our room door was right next to that broken door. So we packed up and left. We felt super unsafe and I was worried about my car even being parked in the parking lot. It’s definitely not the best part of town. We went 20 minutes up the road to Glendale instead.

Had trouble getting the door open. The desk chair was useless. Breakfast was good.

Hot water was poor for the first couple of nights and greatly improved at the end.

Quiet and clean ok stay

The hot water took so long to start working, and when it did work it only last for 5mins. The pool and jacuzzi were out of service.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The rooms are outdated, poorly maintained, and felt unsafe. Cleanliness was a major issue—everything seemed dirty and unkempt. To make matters worse, the staff on my last day were rude and lacked proper communication skills.

We were placed in a room next to a drunk who passed out with the TV up loud. We were awake until 2 am. The toilet handle broke, the handle for the shower was broken allowing no hot water. The phone didnt work, so we couldnt call. Elevator floor is filthy

Terrible costumer service, Terrible clean, in the area a lot of homeless that feels so insecure, i travel with 2 daughters and was the worst experience, this is the worst comfort inn hotel that i ever been.. so disappointed.

Room was used prior to my stay. I che les in at midnight and bed was half u donde and confían and trash through out the room!

Was fine place to stay. Property a bit in need of more maintenance. Area has homeless and derelicts nearby, but had no problems.

Room was in need of serious renovation. Furniture was worn, chairs and couch were stained. Floor had three different types of flooring. Hallways were tight. I did not feel safe arriving after dark.

The front desk attendant was very rude. She checked my daughter-in-law in on my reservation and told me I did not have a reservation, I showed her my confirmation from Hotels.com, she continued to argue. My DIL had to pay to check me in. Our keys did not work, the people next door said they had to switch rooms for the same reason, so the hotel knew the battery was dead but kept making us try different cards, took an hour to get in our room. My DIL's room had no hot water until midnight. My other in-laws room had blood on the curtains. The pool was filled with leaves. The breakfast looked like boiled sausage and potatoes. How can someone ruin coffee? It was watery with a filmy look. This is the first time I have complained about a hotel. I will be writing a formal complaint to the management.

Staff were absolutely amazing, nothing bad to say about them whatsoever. The room is another story. We had a carpeted room that smelled like mold, shower had no hot water, holes and dust everywhere, and the carpet was so dirty if you weren’t wearing shoes your feet would turn black.

Guys trip with the boys to go to Barrett-Jackson. One of my buddies booked here so even though it was kind of far from the auction I booked as well. First thing I saw was a half dozen homeless sitting in the parking lot hanging around a closed building. Although we're not rude or threatening I still worry about my car outside for the two nights I was here. Shower the shower had lukewarm water at best and the room needed serious update. About a 4 inch in the bathroom wall, taped over the hole but never finished it. door frame 12 in of paint scratched off .Shower was lukewarm at best

Overall, not bad. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was standard. But our fridge didn’t work and smelled so we had to throw away our perishable items, and pool was “technically open” the front desk said, but the gate wouldn’t unlock so we couldn’t get in. Area not the greatest—homeless guy peeing outside by the parking lot and freeway noise.

When I asked the front desk clerk for extra pillows, she said I could only have what was in the room. The next day I asked a different clerk and she gave me one….. go figure.

Hotel was ok! I expected more of comfort suites as the one in tempe is awesome. This one was run down u could see water damage on the wall and ceiling tiles throughout. Hot water went out so we didnt have hotwater for 2 days. Our toilet tank had a crack in it. Also we had a strong pesricode odor in our room. Not the best. Wouldnt reccomend.

It was perfect. They allowed us an early check in which was convenient. We were in town for a soccer tournament. It was very quiet although we were literally next to the freeway. It was behind us. Absolutely zero noise. The handle on the shower faucet was a little loose but no biggie. We lived thru it lol. The price was beyond reasonable. We would stay here again. Comfy beds. Pillows and bedding. Breakfast was good. Don’t expect Dennys guys, this isn’t the Denny’s hotel, lol. The staff was sweet. We were very happy and our family was safe. We had zero issues.

This hotel was chosen because I was having surgery and needed to stay a couple nights. The "free" breakfast was awesome, only wish I could enjoy it both mornings- had to fast the first morning before surgery. It was nice having a refrigerator in the room, and it even included a freezer! Hotel employees were super nice, even wishing me success on my surgery, and the person in charge of the breakfast upkeep made sure that I wasn't tempted to eat even though I was taking pictures! Also loved that the TV had a guide so we could actually see what was on! Only MINOR complaint was no sleep button on the remote so we could fall asleep to the noise and have it turn off

Homeless everywhere

Im not sure how this place has the rating that it does. It was so incredibly dirty. The mattress itself had a huge blood stain, hair in the bathroom, filthy carpets and toothpaste all over the bathroom vanity.

We were there for a wedding and the water went off all over the building for a couple of hours while we were getting ready and needed showers

Property is nice, some freeway noise. 4 very close restaurants

Rooms were in good shape. Parking area around the hotel regularly had homeless people wandering around. Halls inside the building were dingy. Room lost water for about an hour Saturday 11/16.
