It was a truly horrible experience. On top of that, they charged me an extra $75 for early entry, even though I had notified them I would be arriving at 3 AM and was told check-in wasn't until 3 PM. I paid it because I was exhausted from driving for so many hours and wasn't about to wait from 3 AM to 3 PM to check in; however, I have proof that my arrival was scheduled for 3 AM. The person who assisted me—whose name was something like "Go" or "Jo" (I don't recall exactly)—was very rude to me. Anyway, I just want to know what is going to happen with the extra money I paid.

Breakfast was included and we got early check in The door in the room didn’t close properly, the floor was broken and flimsy, shower curtains torn, the TV was very outdated where the color was blue tinged on every channel, there was gum stuck to the bed headboard, and there was cockroaches!

The staff on second shift was extremely rude. Treated my guests in an unprofessional manner. Told me that the only way they were allowed is if i added them to the reservation and i did so. The front desk woman was on her personal cellphone throughout most of her shift and was using foul language in front of me and other guests while in the front lobby. When coming back to the facility after a night out. The overnight front desk associate was to appear asleep on the couch against the wall when you walk in near the bathrooms. Very unprofessional place and this place is a shit hole. Tile were lifting in the bathroom and the bed sheets and window curtains had stains on them. There was weak spots in the flooring in the room and in the bathroom. Housekeeping knocks once and enters room.. Housekeeper walked in on my family and myself asleep until we hollered "HELLO?!" and they walked out and slammed the door. NEVER again will i stay and this hotel and i DO NOT recommend anyone wasting their money here.
- 2/5
The parking area was well lit and seems secure since it is a cul-de-sac. Staff was available during check-in. We were greeted by staff outside the hotel talking to someone who was smoking marijuana. It permeated the entire entrance of the hotel. The bathroom was dirty with blond hair. The refrigerator made a lot of weird loud noises, and the sound of cars from the freeway was so loud that it was hard to sleep.

Me and a friend stayed here for a concert, only one night but it was well worth the price. Staff was lovely the lady behind the counter greeted us and had us ready for our room in very little time. No issues using the Hotels.com app would highly recommend staying at the Baymont hotel.

Room was really clean, and spacious. Breakfast had a good selection, new choices every day, and was good quality. Pool was a decent size but was clean and nice to cool off in. Area is not the best, a little dangerous compared to other parts of phoenix, but was ok in the day light. Staff was wonderful and super nice. Had a water fountain with clean cold water, and vending machines with a bunch of snacks for good prices!
- 5/5
Parking lot was decent. my opinion though because it’s in an industrial area I just felt that maybe there should have been Security on the premises for the night shift. Again this is my opinion but other than that parking lot was fine. My car was fine. It was decent no problems. That’s just my opinion.

This is a 2 story hotel WITHOUT an elevator? My husband is disabled and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Had it not been so late when we checked in, we would have left and gone elsewhere.

The evening staff was noisy all night long and belligerent when the noise problem was addressed. Interestingly, they have a sign at the front desk saying they will charge $10 to rude people. I'd like $10 for every time their noisy night staff woke me during the night.
- 5/5
They let you check in early
- 5/5
Breakfast was delicious. The staff at all shifts was exceptional, courteous, friendly, and helpful. There was no noise at all. The bed was super comfortable. The tub was slippery. Maybe some adhesive ducks ?
- 2.5/5
Some distance from airport . Staff were helpful Room not very comfortable. Breakfast was still so.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and the location was just fine close to my daughter's house to drop me off. Everything was just fine for me, I really enjoyed myself.
- 5/5
Very nice clean place with helpful people.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean, but the hallways were a bit rough littered with small pieces of paper.
- 4.5/5
Room was clean The location had homeless people outside and around the neighborhood. Scary if your a female and alone traveling alone.
- 5/5
The staff was great and the omelettes were great.
- 2/5
Poor hotel/ poor location
- 3.5/5
Service and facilities were good after the correction of an initial problem. The first room I was given had a dirty mattress under the sheet, with dried matter (looking like dried blood) around the buttons on the mattress top surface. Check in staff responded positively to my complaint and gave me another room, without this problem.
- 4/5
Yes, breakfast was good, and the staff was nice and cooperative.
- 1/5
STAFF LINDA RUDE, ASKED FOR EXTRA TOWELS CUZ THE TOWELS IN ROOM WERE VERY THIN AND SOMEWHAT SMALL. THE LADY SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO BRING THE USED TOWELS AND SWITCH THEM FOR MORE. THERE WAS A NOTE THAT LINENS WOULD ONLY BE CHANGED EVERY 3 DAYS. NO ONE TO CLEAN BED AND ROOM DAILY. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN
- 5/5
A little out of the way, but quiet and clean.
- 3.5/5
The staff was top tiered. They were very professional and informative. They have homemade cookies provided for the guest. They have breakfast. The rooms and common areas were clean. There isn't any elevators.
- 2.5/5
No elevator for the second floor so you have to carry your suitcase up stairs. Hall and stairs are not vacuumed.
- 2/5
The building is in poor condition. There was a bunch of mold on the bathroom ceiling. The pool was gross.

The location
- 4/5
It was a great hotel however being near the highway it was very loud. We were able to move to the other side of the building and it was so much better! Thank you
- 5/5
Th staff was friendly, hotel was clean, I felt very safe there
- 5/5
Nice location between Phoenix and the Raceway.
- 1/5
We should have known better as we turned into the parking lot. Clearly the hotel is run down and in need updating. Our room appeared clean, however I would not walk bare foot. The solo sink attached to the wall in the bathroom appeared as tho it would fall out if you leaned over to brush your teeth. The 4 inch thick caulking all around was another dead give away. No other counter space for your toiletries. Never mind that the low sink hit me at the knees and at my husbands shins. The bathroom fan sounded like a screeching banshee and the 1 inch gap at the top of our front door could allow a small cat to enter through. Especially nice was the view from our window of the FWY wall, trash and chain link fence. We decided we had enough and checked out before we had to spend another night there. Don't stay there! It was terrible!!!
- 3/5
The location is not the most convenient to get to. It’s in an industrial area. Some minor things in our room … broken hook on bathroom door, cracked window, floor in bathroom uneven so door would get stuck on floor and make a loud noise.
- 1/5
This is completely unacceptable and frankly shocking. Clean bedding is the most basic expectation of any hotel stay. Finding stained and dirty sheets immediately raises serious concerns about housekeeping standards and whether the room was properly cleaned at all. The only reason we didn’t immediately leave the hotel or escalate the situation with the front desk was because it was the middle of the night and we were exhausted from travel. Under normal circumstances we likely would have walked out and found another hotel. This experience was extremely disappointing, and management should be aware that something like this should never happen. I would appreciate someone from management contacting me to address this issue.
- 2/5
No business amenities that I could see. Decaf coffee was very weak. The room was very overpriced for what you got. I was told that this was because of "Spring Training". This facility is not even close to any baseball. Disappointed.

- 3/5
Bed was very good. Bathroom was loud fan and beat. Door to room closed with big gap. Heat air was good. Staff was very kind breakfast was poor. Over all condition of building is below grade.

Service was accommodating and friendly, breakfast was well prepared and decent variety (though it was a bit crowded in the small dining area). Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was some outside noise that was not the staff's fault and very minor. Overall a good stay.
- 3/5
The hotel is just ok. Nothing really terrible and nothing really great. It is located in a less than great area of town.
- 3/5
Our check in staff was great. She was polite and pleasant. The room wasn’t the best and had a weird smell when we walked in. The bathroom had a half empty bodywash in it and the fridge had an old Chinese food box in it which maybe the reason for the smell. Overall it was ok for a one night stay.
- 5/5
Great Staff
- 4/5
Hotel was fine for what it was intended - a quick overnight stop during our 2 day travel. Good price, comfortable bed, good bathroom. All we did was sleep, grab coffee and head back on the road so I can't attest to any of the amenities. But would recommend based on what we used it for.

the hotel staff were very kind! breakfast was available every morning and the rooms were SUPER CLEAN!!!
- 5/5
The property was super clean and staff was very nice!! made our stay go by much smoother
- 1/5
2 cockroaches greeted us in their room when we arrived. Hallway was dimly lit, the whole building had a weird smell and it was just a terribly run property. So we immediatly checked out and went down the street to the holiday inn express which is 1000 times better.
- 5/5

I had the suite basically the 2 rooms conjoined. I love it and recommend it if you're getting the Suite. It was priced $105. Only thing I didn't like there was no elevator and only one way in and out
- 4/5
We like the cleanliness of the room and staff accomodation.
- 5/5
It was almost perfect the only bad thing was the neighbor hotels has open to drug addiction people but it was a safe place to stay.

- 5/5
This place was spot on!! One of the best places we have stayed in lately. The continental breakfast was delicious. I will say. The area it is in was a bit sketchy which had us rethinking what we had booked. When we walked in to the hotel that thought changed. The security cameras and the screen to view the whole prperty put us at ease. They run a tight ship!! We were greeted by an amazing older lady who made it easy to check in. The room was beautiful, clean and smelled nice. Check out was a breeze. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Unfortunately we checked in very late and were exhausted so no pictures. Will definitely book again!!
- 5/5
The staff
- 5/5
Place was sufficient. Very nice staff, cleanliness was ok, but there was roaches.
- 5/5
It was an excellent stay for the price
- 4/5
convenient area
- 5/5
Have stayed there often and never had a problem
- 5/5
The beds were some of the most confortable I have slept on in a hotel, even compared to some higher end hotels. The pillows were also fantastic. My daughter and I stayed overnight, so we could attend a concert at Talkingstick Arena, very close to the arena, and easy to get an uber. Bertha, the front desk person, was fantastic. No restauraunts right around the hotel, but great for a couple nights, for the price.
- 5/5
Loose, springy and dips and bumps
- 4/5
Close to freeway
- 5/5
The staff is great. They go out of their way to help you whenever you ask. Two tips -- ask for a room facing the parking lot, not the freeway, to eliminate noise. We had one and heard no freeway noise at all. Ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator! The breakfast was nice, offering choices. The pool is small and pretty much in the sun, so not inviting. The hotel is adjacent to another hotel, but beyond parking lots it's an industrial area. Seemed to be some homeless people in the area, but we were never hassled. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable walking in the area after dark. Lots of fast food options nearby, on both sides of the freeway. One thing I particularly appreciated was the note pad and pen. A useful nicety too many hotels have dropped.
- 4/5
No hot water the first night
- 4/5
They didn’t put tooth paste in the bathroom. The staff need to be smart and organize their hairstyles
- 2/5
The hotel did refund our stay. Our staff needed a room and checked in fairly late. Upon arrival, they were greeted with bugs. Not one, not 2 but multiple. I will spare you the pictures.
- 4/5
This was a good place for a short stay in Phoenix. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and check-in was pleasant. There were stains on the towels, sheets and curtains, but it felt clean, maybe just a little run down. I wouldn’t steer people away but it wasn’t the best hotel we’ve stayed at.
- 2/5
The front desk employees were super nice but everything else was not. The area was super sketchy, the rooms needed a lot of work and the overall pics online don't match what it actually looks like. A lot of scuffs, chips and stains within the room and bathroom. Room was right at the top of the stairs (no elevator) and it was dark and the rest of the hallway was dimly lit. My children did not feel comfortable at all. I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know to stay there. The good reviews were very misleading.
- 1/5
The stay was terrible. Hotel is disgusting, smells like marijuana, area around the hotel is very unsafe. Was afraid to leave my car parked in the parking lot.
- 2/5
They had a lot of homeless around the area, more like an industrial area
- 3/5
Staff friendly. Not in the best area. Lots of homeless sleeping around and some prostitution
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay
- 2/5
Stayed recently for 4 nights for some spring baseball. We stayed in room 213, the walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next door. I kid you not when I say you can hear someone fart. Endless coughing, video games and excessivly loud conversations on using cash app for drug deals were just a little of the exposure that we dealt with. The staff did talk to the other tenants and tried to quiet them at 1 am, 3 am and lastly 5am, it was to no avail. 4 sleepless nights as drug traffic came in and out, doors slamming, no offer/option to move. The front area was encased in bags, trash, clothing and 4 transient persons who were using the electrc outlet in the first entrance to the lobby. They were allowed to remain there through 2 full days, pets in a pet carrier were also left in this entryway from a non customer of the hotel, it looked in terrible condition. Weed seeped into our room from the neighboring room on mumtiple occasions. Pool was small but adequate enough for the hotel. Breakfast was decent actually, with the normal findings, cereal, waffle maker, eggs, yogurt and bread/pastry items. The staff was nice and seemed to care but maybe not enough assertivness to remove someone from the hotel. The room itself has flaws, home in the bathroom door, few small darker stains on the sheet but it did look laundered. Overall, we will not be back for the safety concerns.
- 2/5
The fridge made a noise all night long and they only change the sheets in one bed and not the second one
- 2/5
The area is sketchy, we had no hot water and our bath/shower didn’t work.
- 2/5
Not a real friendly vibe. A lot of homeless around the hotel. Staff was rather curt. Weak continental breakfast, especially with the waffle maker not working. Older place in need of updates. Definitely would not stay there again.
- 3/5
The room was decent. However all the floors were squeaky and the walls were thin so I could hear other guests walking by. Being right next to the freeway, I could hear the traffic.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly but the room was horrible. It was a handicap accessible bathroom but there is no way a handicapped person could use the shower. 3x3 with an unmovable bench seat that left maybe 14" of space to stand. The sink was loose on the wall. One hard push by someone and that heavy porcelain sink would crush someone's legs. Friends in another room had a much nicer stay. Manager did give us a small refund but the concern for a true handicapped person should be considered. That room should be taken out of service to eliminate the possibility of a future lawsuit because of a guest being injured.
- 4/5
Good and centrally located.
- 2/5
On the 3rd day of our stay, my wife discovered what appeared to be insect bites on her arms. One of the sores began to swell and blistered. Upon return our return to Oklahoma, she went to a Doctor and was diagnosed with bed bug bites. Obviously, our room 137 was no clean and over time resulted in bed bugs. My plan is to contact Wyndham corporate and insist on a refund of my money. This is unacceptable and I will not recommend Wyndham properties to any of my friends.
- 3/5
My stay was comfortable. The staff was very helpful. I will probably seek other accommodations on my next trip to Phoenix. this location is surrounded by homeless camps.
- 3/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated but well kept. The bathroom fan which comes on with the light is obnoxiously loud! Outside is unsafe. It is scattered with homeless up and down the street all though they never came to the hotel.
- 2/5
No vanity to place items. Shower was set up for handicap. The breakfast and staff were good.
- 2/5
Our room faced the freeway and we were right next to the on ramp. It was like sleeping on a race track. If you can’t install sound proof windows don’t build that close to a freeway. The sign on the door when you walk in says clearly they aren’t responsible for damages to your car when you park there. Not reassuring as far as safety. And this morning for breakfast there wasn’t any butter.
- 2/5
Felt unsafe
- 3/5
No On Demand Movies !!!!
- 2/5
I liked it was convenient, I did not like the noice, the room was not dark. No place to hang a robe in the handicap room, had to ask for a stand for suitcase. Didn't bother with breakfast
- 2/5
Place needs a face lift
- 2/5
One thing is the freeway being a few feet from your windows but the bedding was dirty with cigarette burns, homeless, prostitutes, and drug addicts loiter the area. Would not stay in that area again.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Great for a night or two!
- 5/5
This is a small hotel, partly renovated, and very comfortable. I couldn't see something that I am missing. Also I felt safe in the hotel, but I would not have walked at all the 0.2 mile to the fast foods area, neither at night nor during the day.
- 2/5
Also, I reserved and paid for 1 room with 2 queen beds in advance but when we got there, we were given 1 room with 1 queen bed. After showing the manager our receipt and confirmation, he gave us a different room with 2 queen beds but charged me for it. He mentioned we will be reimbursed for the first room but we haven't seen it yet in our account. The manager was nice but the stay wasn't that great.
- 4/5
Good size parking lot for trucks. Didn’t feel safe leaving my trailer unhooked at the parking lot.
- 5/5
Just the best again
- 3/5
The staff were all ok, but I couldn’t get past all the homeless people hanging around and sleeping around the hotel.

The 2 ladies behind the counter at check-in were fun & friendly. One of the same ladies was setting up breakfast 8 hours later, was still in a good mood & helped me take a shortcut to the airport and mis massive traffic on the 10.

- 5/5
Clean room and lobby. Staff was available and on site even in late hours. The area around is nothing but lots and warehouses and nothing else, but it is Pheonix so there's not much in general in that city. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Great property to stay at
- 5/5
I highly recommend!
- 4/5
The staff is always attentive and friendly. Any issues with the room property or other guests are dealt with quickly.
- 5/5
It was ok. Found a bug on the sink, the alarm clock did not work there was a wire loose
- 4/5
This place is better than expected for a sub $100 rate. Check in was nice and the room is real clean. The only knock I have is that it’s located in an industrial area off the freeway. It’s a quiet area though and looks pretty safe. I was surprised that they provide a complimentary breakfast.
- 4/5
Staff were excellent.
- 5/5
Great showers, Mighty fine bed, Good breakfast

Hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good but the breakfast area is very small and difficult to navigate with other people there. Our room smelled somewhat damp but seemed pretty clean. The room was alot smaller than we would have liked. And the beds were extremely firm and none of us slept good on them. The exterior of the hotel was clean. Overall not a bad place, but we will stay somewhere else next time.

Workers very nice. Area was kind of scary. In the morning there was an unopened beer in front of our vehicle tire.

Staff was rude an had a sign that would charge you money for having an opinion on your stay.

My reservation was canceled well before the cut off time. No other rooms were avaiable. I had chosen the pay at the desk option. I suspect there is a disconnect between expedia and the motel. I had even called 3 days prior to confirm and was assured that my room was reserved.

Shotty construction overall. Bath, tile, floor grungy with a very loose toilet seat, thats fun. Not maintained well. Breakfast during week, toast, cereal, juice, no cups, only coffee cups.... no plates? Again, low standards. GOOD, comfortable bed, the saving grace. (bring your own pillow). Other accommodations, no closet (truly a 'live out of your suitcase' place), no smart TV to stream from my laptop. No safe. Tad noisy on freeway side. Just an old pig with liostick on. A mix of really nice and helpful front desk staff, and typical now days the standard Why are you bothering me, employees. Sorry! Next year family event elsewhere.

The lady at the desk made it possible for us to have everything convenient by changing our room to the first floor, because of my disabilities.
