AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix Biltmore

I ended here unexpectedly but it is a lovely property. Main concern was a full SUV stuffed with valuables. They had cameras and security. Breakfast is very European. Staff was awesome. Room was... idk... maybe I got the bad room because of the discount. But the walls are a bit thin. The refrigerator while cool with the glass door literally sounds like a person breathing. I heard breathing all night. Tried to unplug it but could not. Would still go back :)

I’ve elaborated in other reviews as I have stayed here frequently in the season. Keeping this review brief, but I love the property and the team that runs it!

The AC Biltmore is perfect - comfortable, clean, great location and I love the 24-hour gym accessibility and beautiful lanai and patio for working remotely. The staff is always very kind and I want to give extra thanks to Melanie who went above and beyond with her kind customer service this stay (thank you Melanie!). This is a big value to me in hotel stay choices, so I appreciate her and her team extra! Other random details I love: the beautiful view of Camelback Mt. at the end of the hallway on higher floors, that the hotel leaves you 2 water bottles complimentarily and that the bathrooms have this holster thing on the wall for the hair dryer (random, but I love it for efficiency and keeping the counter free for makeup etc.)! Looking forward to stay again soon, thank you for everything!

I have loved staying at the AC Biltmore for repeat visits over the last year. Perfect property for my needs - location is amazing, rooms are clean, comfortable, and amenities are simple, accessible and perfect. The staff has always been super kind. And I love the lobby / lanai for remote work. It’s a true gem right in the middle of Arcadia ish. Love the proximity to my local favorites, including AJ’s Grocery, LGO Market, Postino, Ingo’s, Camelback Mountain, etc.

Front desk staff is friendly and competent. I recommend this hotel.

Always a treat. Just enough level of “upscale” without paying 5-Star prices. The service is always excellent; everyone is super friendly, responsive and professional. The rooms are always nice and spacious with that signatre AC decor of modernity. The pool this time looked a little unkempt but didnt use it this time around. Usually it’s pretty clean, towels are nicely rolled and neatly placed, umbrellas erected, etc BUT this was definitely an off moment. I find it affordable and in a nice area. The food is good and the bar service is excellent (kuddos to Wayne).

My initial interaction was not so pleasant. The woman at the check-in desk was annoyed because people were being too loud in the lobby/bar area. She handed me a parking pass but didn’t explain what it was for or what I needed to do with it. Everything after that was fine.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and very reasonable in price.

I arrived earlier than expected and asked if the room was ready. It wasn’t and I didn’t mind waiting for the room to be cleaned. I returned about 4 an additional hour after check in. I received my room and upon entering the room I noticed a dead ant on the bed, I was unsure if it was a dirty bed sheet, mishandled bedding or unrelated but shortly after I found a trail of ants that were making their way around the room and to the bed. This led me to noticing the floors not being thoroughly cleaned was disappointing. I was given a new room but whoever handled that did not seem phased by the situation which was even more disappointing. I was disgusted in not knowing how clean anything was at that point.

First time in Phoenix and loved location of this hotel. Clean, bright, and inviting. Great little lobby, terrace with tons of seating. Room was clean and super quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Lighting was a bit dim in the room. Would stay again!

I enjoyed the stay. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Parking was easy and many places to eat around the hotel.

Most amazing lady at reception. She was so kind and helpful. Rooms were large and wheelchair access was very good. Food was tasty.

I ask the front desk staff if there was a better room available (I checked online first and saw there was) and they told me there wasn't. Also, the room had a creepy vibe, the way they had the chair and rug arranged felt very off. We checked out early, there was a different person at the front desk and he was very kind and said they would refund the remaining nights we had booked.

Felt that my car was safe. We sought the place out because we wanted to feel confident in leaving our car for the night. The room was pretty big and it was close to food places and mall. The air conditioning was terrible, had trouble sleeping through the night because it was stuffy. It was an energy efficient AC so the air would only be on in small increments of time.

It was a horrible experience, I showed up at midnight due to a flight delay to an empty lobby where I waited and rung the bell, called the contact number left on the counter with no response. I had to go next door to the filthiest 1970’s hotel for $295. Fortunately for me when O called to complain about the service the Gentleman working that morning comped a room for that night which really saved me a headache

Bed was horrible! Woke up with back ache the 3 nights we slept there. Poor lighting in room (especially bathroom). Towels were old and definitely not hotel quality. Overall, overrated.

Feet very safe for a solo traveler, especially as a woman. Beautiful courtyard for morning coffee, sun, and reading. Staff greeted us upon arrival and departure every single time. Just overall very clean with nice atmosphere No complaints

Overall though, location, facilities and staff were much appreciated. 5th floor view of Camelback Mt. is gorgeous, loved the lanai for working from and used / appreciated the gym one night as well. Simple, clean, amazing location - a win to me!

The bathroom wasnt as clean as expected. There was strands of dark hair on the floor. The garbage can had water, or something wet, in it. The cold water never really got cold, just warm.

I have stayed at AC hotels before and they were much better. Not sure what happened this time around. This property needs an upgrade on the outside, as well as in the inside. The rooms were not clean. The halls stunk like mildew and throw up! The service was subpar. I would not recommend this hotel. It is definitely not a 9.2 overall that was suggested.

I stayed for about 4 nights and the staff was amazing. I was able to check in early the front desk let me know all about the bar & breakfast options. Parking was easy & poolside was clean. But in the hotel’s defense I did ask to check in almost 4 hours early so they didn’t have time to double check the room like they normally would. Hotel is great. Only negative is the when you get off the elevator it smells like curdled milk in the hallways. It is so strong, you have to hold your breath to your room. Luckily the room did not smell.

This AC Hotel location worked very well for us. We had a one-night stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff was very kind, and the accommodations were great for our needs. The location of the hotel was also very convenient.

Nice clean hotel, but I was charged an unannounced parking fee, and there was not even any spaces left in the lot later that eve. No breakfast included (additional $18 for that), not really worth the cost.

Lots of allergies in the hotel and lighting at nite not great--either need to keep bathroom light on or rely on small nite light.

It was in a good location and clean. The rooms were fine but the finished/rooms were not any fancier/nicer than the Hampton inn around the corner and I paid much more Price relative to similarly appointed properties

For a Marriott it was nicely appointed. The bathroom was lovely the bedroom was very comfortable and well lite. There was a nice view of a pond (unexpected for Pheonix)! My big complaint with Marriott facilities, even the higher end is why is never has enough coffee for two in a room. Only one coffee, one decaf and one tea.

Close to the airport, wasn't there long enough to use any facilities or anything. Probably would not stay there again unless I needed to be close to the airport or a nearby business because it felt like the hotel was in an industrial/ business area.

We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and uncrowded the few days after Christmas. Lobby was beautiful, parking was easy, food and drinks were very good. Nice outdoor lounge area with heaters and fire pit as well as a heated pool and 24 hr gym. Close to everywhere we needed to be.

This was the first time the bed was uncomfortable! I stay there about once a month and am always comfortable! The mattress in 228 was lousy!!

It was not clean at all, we found so many hairs throughout out the room. The shower looks like it hasn’t been cleaned properly at all. There is soap scum and you guessed it hairs! Bed was somewhat comfortable. We had to clean the room, to feel comfortable to use.

If your looking for a no frills hotel that is still clean, quiet, and simple this is the place. There was not one light that was dim. I prefer having a room with at least one dim bulb so I can have light on at night without it being blinding.

There was poop stains on the toilet seat when I arrived. That is a huge no no for me. Absolutely disgusting. From there, the AC was broken and make a clank noise throughout the night but I had to keep it on. Honestly very upset with my stay over there. Terrible.

The rooms and beds are quite comfortable. Also love the lobby area, bar and the transition from indoor to outdoor lounge seating. Location is great too next to everything.

Second time we’ve stood at this property, very clean the food program, however, was pretty weak but designed for that clientele business travelers

This is a sleek, modern hotel with minimalist decor but well-sized rooms and lovely common areas. It's well located in Phoenix, close to just about anything you wish to explore. The hotel staff went above & beyond to help make our 3-night stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Plus free parking!

There were never any cookies to go with coffee though the sign was there. Halls could use refreshing.

Con: There was a conference at the hotel and I had to park in a nearby garage.

Great modern hotel. Very clean and great staff

The pillows on the bed were covered in makeup and hair. When I requested new pillows I found them on the hallway floor outside of the hotel room door.

Ive stayed at this hotel twice now and I will continue to book at AC. The service, food and overall experience was great! The rooms are comfortable, clean and very nice.

Check in was quick and easy . Friendly staff . Perfectly clean hotel and it’s located walking distance from restaurants , bars and a theater .

It was clean and modern. For a business traveler, it was perfect since it's close to the airport. Had a good gym. It was a pleasant stay.

The staff were very kind and made sure our needs were met. Checking in and parking was a breeze. The room itself was perfect. Very clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable - easy walk to a good choice of restaurants and easy drive to airport. Only gripe is the very loud noise made by the air con that would roar into action through the night

Nice outdoor area by the pool. Affordable.

It smelled moldy. The tub was gray and dirty. The place didn’t feel clean

The coffee maker in the room is not clean. So I tried to get some hot water from the coffee maker at the bar. There were many small black specks floating in the hot water I got from the bar.

Will be back again!!!

When staying for one week it should be the same price for each night.

Highly recommend the AC Marriott Biltmore. I’m a former PHX resident now living in NYC, first time staying at this property. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The hotel is very well-located within walking distance to my favorite restaurants (Tarbell’s, True Food Kitchen, Hillstone, MercBar) & shopping at Biltmore Fashion Park. The rooms are well-designed with super comfortable beds & great linens. I enjoyed working remotely from beautiful indoor/outdoor patio area off the lobby. Great service from housekeeping, the breakfast staff and the evening bartender, Kristi, who remembered my cocktail preference from the previous day. I look forward to my next visit.

Very clean hotel. The only thing is that the bar didn’t open until 3:00 pm

This hotel is a nice clean and quiet hotel to stay.Didnt see very many small children other than the kids we had,but the stay was excellent
