I'm just not a fan of the La Quinta color scheme - way too much yellow for me! Same reason I steer away from Red Roof Inns, lol. The good: the facility was clean overall, our room was generally clean. The not so good: There was a large black stain on our shower curtain - looked like grease or something. The furniture in the room looked a little banged up. Breakfast - which other reviewers were very positive about - was underwhelming to say the least - no fresh eggs, no breakfast meats, just a waffle machine, some cereal, a few packaged pastries, etc. - just standard motel breakfast fare - nothing exceptional at all.

This hotel is older but outside of a little chipped paint here and there, it was very clean and service was great. We had a quick check-in. Breakfast was what we expected. I saw a few complaints in other reviews but they offered hot and cold cereals, waffles, hard boiled eggs, and your typical pastries. We would stay again.

Staff is exceptional!! Hallways and lobby need help. Not inviting at all when you walk in. Room 218 should not be used as you can hear the lobby doors open and close all day.

Clean comfortable room. Road noise kept me up a bit though so maybe ask for a room facing the parking lot. Breakfast we skipped and went elsewhere for. Hotel smelt like you used to be able to smoke in the lobby but overall it was a good affordable stay.

Only complaint would be no ice machine. Our stay was very comfortable and reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

The room was run-down. The dirty carpet made the entire room stink. The walls and doorways had visible dirt on them. The bedding smelled like mildew. Someone was trying to get into our room at 3 in the morning. It was just an absolutely horrible night stay.

At this time, the only thing I would say is, they need to have scrambled eggs or another form of cooked eggs and not just hard boiled, plus need sausage or bacon or some type of meat with the breakfast. When I was setting to have the morning breakfast, I would hear other guest stating the same thing multiple times over my 4 days staying there. La Quinta, listed to your guest and change your breakfast. Overall, it was an average stay.

Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was spotless, and I had a pleasant stay. The only issue was that the bathtub did not drain properly, causing water to remain in the tub after use. Aside from this maintenance concern, everything else was excellent. I would stay here again if the drainage issue is resolved.

Hotel was satisfactory overall but what really stood out to me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Having stayed in many many hotels in my lifetime, I would have to say this hotel stood out in this regard.

The staff were amazing, the room was clean and comfortable and the location is very quiet. The breakfast is a bit minimal but kept well stocked. The property is beginning to show its age, but is still kept in excellent condition. Will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

I don’t know how this hotel is rated so high. I feel like it staff, family, friends writing fake reviews. If I hadn’t prepaid prior to our arrival I would have left once I saw it. The hotel was outdated, not very clean, there was some random guy sitting in the lobby with a bag just hanging out (at 10pm), the person working the desk was sitting eating and talking to me with a mouth full of food while I was checking in. The room was clean-ish. The beds were supposed to be queens but felt smaller than doubles. The vent for the bathroom fan was hanging off the wall. The breakfast the next morning was barely anything. Very very very basic. We left and paid for breakfast elsewhere. Would never stay here again.
