Motel 6 Perry, GA

Clerk was not friendly. Many rooms were either not occupiable or occupied by long term residents. Ice machine out of or and has been. TV stations were available but not good picture. Price was right and allowed our dogs which is why we stayed there but will look elsewhere next time through.

Price Asked for 2 king rooms side by side. Not available. Thought I was getting 1 ki g and 1 double room side by side. But got 2 double rookies side by side. No pool, no breakfast, half way decent cleanliness. Broken remote.

Very outdated, no toilet lid on the toilet. No place in bathroom place your clothes. Just sink toilet and shower. Bed covers had cigarette holes throughout, hotel did not feel safe at all. Clerk said I paid to much. but I had gone through a 3rd party. Lesson learned!!! Huge hotel but very few customers! Now I know why.

Could use a remodel or update, the area is good and convenient for eating and shopping. The outdated furniture, bed was not really comfortable, microwave made a scrubbing noise while cooking. TV was outdated on the wall.

Location There was poop on the floor, blood on the walls, smoke detector had no battery, roaches in bed and in bathroom, and vinal coming up which is a major fall hazard. I was told there were no other rooms.

This location doesn’t offer breakfast so I expected the coffee to be at least drinkable. It was not. I the only thing I liked about my stay was checking in. No lights in the room at all, except the one in the bathroom. Every switch that I hit did nothing, so I was forced to walk across the room to actually have any source of light. The television color was horrible, and I tried playing with the contrast and brightness, and nothing changed. Just a cheap television that really needs to be replaced. Finally... the AC unit was useless, and although the lights were on, it didn't work. Thank goodness it wasn't too warm outside the night I stayed. Would not recommend staying here, and I would have left had I realized all of this prior to cleaning up for the night.

It was perfect love the location it's convenient for shopping and plenty of restaurants close by.

Nothing It was very trashy and a mess as soon as we arrived. There were shopping carts filled with random things on the walk ways. Entering our room we found bugs and a random puddle of some liquid going under one of the beds. Picking the bed up to inspect the puddle more there was mess and more puddle and plenty of dead bugs and cobwebs under the beds.

They had availability and smelled clean. A lot of things were falling apart, and there was a cockroach on one of the shelves. Seemed kind of unsafe outside.

Staff was very friendly and made an attempt to fix the problem with my door but ultimately it was unsuccessful. I had no way to get into my room. The staff at the front desk had to let me into the room with a master physical key. I had brought two dogs and needed to walk them and I either left the door open or had to ask the front desk for help. I did not feel very safe in this motel

The man at the front desk was very helpful, his customer service talent is being wasted in this dump. No breakfast was seen, old coffee warmed up was offered. I would not have been able to eat anything from there considering the conditions. Very poor condition for the grounds and rooms. I switched rooms as the first was not habitable. Ceiling partially fallen. The second was a bit better but that quickly deteriorated when we had roaches crawling on us and toilet leaking onto floors. We slept in our clothes on top of bed. Truth is that this place is a weekly/monthly place for the less fortunate. The closed down swimming pool has turned to a cesspool. There is a whole other building on the property, likely these rooms are the ones shown online, they looked much nicer from the windows. Not a car in the parking lot on that side. Asked about moving to one of those rooms but was told non were available. Not a safe area either, but did have mobile police cameras in the parking lot.

Price We had no key to our room.\nDesk person had to let us in our room every time we neededneed in. There was no key card.He had a real key to unlock the door. There were cigarette burns in the bedspread on the bed. Tub would not drain out.It took at least forty-five minutes for it to drain.

The man working at the front desk was very nice and pleasant The motel was AWFUL. The bathroom ceiling was falling in, there was duct tape on the door holding the handle on, there were cigarette burns in the comforter even though we requested a non-smoking room, and it smells terrible. There were also roaches crawling on the floor. It is NOTHING like the pictures show.

I’m not sure who gave this motel a high rating?? There were bugs everywhere and smelled like pinesol in there. Bed was fine and shower was okay but not sure of the area. Looked a bit sketchy!! I would not recommend.

Lobby reeked of cigarette smoke and other guests, who appeared to be full time residents, were smoking weed on the balcony. Another downside is parking lot that does not allow for parking in front of all rooms. I would only recommend this place for a quick in and out but not for anymore than that.

My friend stayed in 607 and it had comfortable beds but her room didn’t appear updated. My bedspread has at least 8-10 burn hole in it- for a non- smoking room. The inside was not too bad- it was clean- one bar of soreness the amenities. Towels were scratchy. The exterior was disgusting- garbage, cigarette butts, appeared to be half under renovation with mattresses and table out on the yard. There was no ice machine in my section . The one machine that was available was broken. Staff at desk were very pleasant.

Like every room that we book. Nothing extra had to be done to be treated like that! Then to be rushed out the room because you had another booking which was our booking you lied about cancelling!!

This was a very convenient area to get in and out of by lots of food choices and stores! Came to town for our first time at the state fair and it did not disappoint. The hotel itself was a little outdated but there was zero issues! Would recommend this hotel to anyone passing though! We will be booking a longer stay next year when the state fair returns!

This property is under new management who has been unwilling to respond to my request. The staff has been delightful but it appears the new ownership, Marguesh, is unresponsive.

I stay here often for Dog Shows at the fairgrounds. Michelle is the most amazing person. She greets me ever time I check in and is so accommodating. The gore is older but kept in good condition for the most problem. I will continue to stay here on my trips.

They were nice and let me check in a bit early which was very helpful. Please note if you stay here you need to ask the front desk for a hair dryer. Also there was no shampoo or coffee maker in the room. You can hear the interstate noise all night, sadly.

I only stayed one night as a stopover on my trip. The room as clean, the TV and refrigerator worked. The motel was very accommodating allowing my three little dogs. My dogs enjoyed their stay and got some rest before we continued on our trip.

Very run down! Stay away!! Dead roaches in the floor! Checked the mattress for bedbugs they were black. We got a refund and left!! This use to be our favorite place to stay every year that we came to Perry. We haven’t been in a few years. Wasn’t expecting it to be in this shape at all!

Terrible! Unless you like to share a room with cockroaches. We stayed there on our way to Florida. When we arrived to our main destination we washed all our clothes and cleaned out our suitcases/bags. So gross! Not to mention the room was old, beat up and dirty.

After getting a late start from Chattanooga and dealing ATL traffic, we decided to stay here for the night. It’s super easy to get into and out of with a 40 gooseneck trailer. There’s a Sonny’s across the street so food is convenient. I’ve stayed here in the past and it fits the bill really nicely

I wasn’t able to stay as long as I had reserved. However, the Manager and assistant helped me for getting a refund for the two other nights. The property is quite convenient to the interstate. The room was very clean.

This was the nicest, cleanest and quietest Motel 6 we have stayed at. This as a great location to food venues and our business.

About what I expected for this price point and the reviews. A little bit of road noise making it difficult to sleep if you need it completely quiet. Area felt safer than other areas that were closer to neighborhoods. Location right by a bbq joint and a walmart. Check in attendant was very nice. Parked right in front of room and could check on vehicle if necessary. Local workers were up and moving around 5-6am and could hear them talking and starting up trucks, but that was expected. Bed was comfy and clean as was the rest of the room.

Room was clean, but bed covers had cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. Shower was dirty and wouldn't drain due to hair in the drain (which i had to clean out) toilet seat loose and about to fall off.

Floors were filthy. Beds ok. Ridiculous to have to pay 50.00 refundable deposi to stay. Will not stay again.

I arrived at the location there is to hotels had to walk the property to find employee 2 hours it took her to check me in Victoria was her name then we finally got our room asked for help with ac unit they would not help us they told us to leave the location the owner seems like a dangers man we felt in fear of our life he came out of no we’re just yelling at us called the law won’t give our money back then hotels.com called he told there employee to stop calling the better business bureaus will be contacted next also if you read other reviews on there main website I am not the first one they have done this too

Only complaints: 1. when I called early in the morning to say I wanted to stay another day, the woman who answered told me to call back "after 8 or 9" - can't you leave the manager a message if you can't do arrange it yourself? 2. Housekeeping took the hardly used bars of soap every day. Not too eco-friendly, nor economical for you.

Clean room, nice staff. But the non-smoking room smelled very bad of cigarettes.

Staff was outstanding. Rooms were remodeled recently. Loved the beds and pillows. Super comfy! Love the GA friendliness and hospitality.

Bare bones but comfortable and convenient to food and shopping

Good for the price. One check in person for two next door hotels but she was very good. Good tv and a relatively comfortable bed. No complaints

I don’t expect much from a Motel 6 in Perry, GA. But I do expect the plumbing to work. The tub didn’t drain properly, resulting in showering with water up to my ankles. I also expect to not find a live roach crawling in one of the beds when I pull down the covers. I know I’m not staying at the Ritz, but come on.

one of the better motel 6 properties however staff needs retrained. Front desk person very rude.
