I had a minor problem with the door lock but it was handled quickly. I recommend for travelers on a budget.

If I am able to save someone from booking this horrible mistake as I did, then the cost was worth it.

There was No front desk, in stead, it just has a little closed, steer protected space to let people check in. Before our family moved in, I saw a guy angrily came out that little space with complain that he couldn’t check in due to time passed even he paid full. The “hotel” person only told him “this was fully video and monitored by police”?! With the worry, when we stepped into the two rooms we booked, they both full of heavy smoking smell, very dirty sheets and bed, very old and rusted air conditioners!! We even found bugs on wall and bed. When taking to property person, he insisted sheets and bed changed, no other free room to move. Even mentioning we did NOT book non-smoke room, that we were not aware of smoking and non-smoking situation from site description! He even admitted no matter how they enforced non smoking in rooms, but guests did NOT follow rules! But how this property could put so many faking pictures that were totally different from the real situation onsite??? how they got 4.6 ratings in Expedia , but in google search we found only rate lowest rated property??? Finally we ended up stay in car whole night as the room was completely NOT acceptable!!! We did complain to Expedia regarding this cheating and faking description and rate! We wish to get response soon from Expedia.Next time better check google information!

The pictures for this property are false advertising. When you drive up, it is apparent this is a motel and it is being used as both an extended and short term by various people. Take from that what you will. Felt extremely unsafe. The staff seem uninterested at check in, almost like I was bothering them. Ultimately, I left and ended up staying at another hotel altogether out of concerns for my safety and the safety of my rental car overnight.

This place was so sketchy. Room not clean and had cockroaches. Only stayed here because how close to the hospital where I had a procedure the next day. The picture on Expedia is absolutely false or from 30 years ago. Stay here at your own risk.

I booked a room at this hotel. I had a family emergency and had to cancel and the told me I couldn’t get a refund. Absolutely terrible. How do you make someone pay for something they didn’t even get.

Cockroaches, urine stained sheets, beard shavings and hair in sink and shower, broken Tv controls, I left and slept in my truck. Absolutely disgusting.

I really enjoyed the peace of mind during my stay. The quiet-spacial room, was just right for me. The air conditioner wasnt to supportive of heat during the cold nights of arrival. Having the microwave be cleaned regularly / productively, would ensure comfort & safety from fire hazards.

Hotel was dirty, seemed VERY unsafe, locks didn’t work, smoke detectors were beeping. I left after 20 minutes and found a different place to stay.

Room's ac unit was held in the socket by duct tape. Blankets had stains. Bathroom appeared to have mold in the shower.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Shower was moldy. Cigarette burns on everything.

I never even stayed in the room because I was terrified of the surroundings. I was still charged as though I stayed there 3 nights even though I was told that hotels com would be refunding my money. I still haven't seen it

We found a roach in one of our rooms, plus burn marks on the tables. We returned our room keys within 15 minutes of checking in, and did not receive a refund.

Really needs some TLC, paint and repairs, but maybe its just in a really rough, sketchy area and is sufficient for some clientele?

My toilet was not flushing, after telling the front desk they told me they take care of it but they never did

Got the place for work, disgusting is all I got. There’s yellow stuff that has dried on the walls that looks to have dripped down said walls. Heroin spoon and or crack pipe burns on the table and dresser. Stains and burn holes all over the towels and bedding. One towel per week and one set of sheets per week. Which I never even got new sheets and was here 11 days, or room service for that matter. I had to bother them for towels and it felt awkward everytime, so much so I bought some. Also I’m almost 1000% positive a smooshed a roach in the bathroom.

Overall condition of property was not satisfactory. Did not stay. We were not comfortable.

The only saving grace to this room was the bed, which was fantastic. The bedding was clean, but stained. The bathrrom looked clean, but there was a cockroach on the toilet paper, and then in the shower stall. The window had cracks like it was about to shatter. Several outlets didnt work. We definitely got what we paid for.

The room was nothing like what was advertised. I guess that’s what you get for trying to find a “cheap” place. The room had a pungent smell and it was impossible for me and my partner to stay there given one of us has a chronic health concern. We spoke to the gentleman in charge of the place and he said he’s sorry there’s nothing he could do and he couldn’t issue a refund either. We quietly told him it’s fine and he can keep the money and we left as quickly as our feet could carry us. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Upon arrival, I was told that my reservation had been canceled even though we had called when we received the text message asking us to confirm the reservation. The room itself was extremely small and unkept. Neighborhood was very scary. Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot doing things they probably shouldn’t be.

Yes , everything. I’ve never in my life experienced such filth. What type of hotel, Motel don’t at least make sure the bathroom is at least in good standing. The toilet was nastier than a restaurant toilet. I saw the biggest roach. The bed was lumpy.

Although the place was filthy I am truly blessed due to being homeless with nowhere to go the man allowed me to stay another day until I was able to get the money to pay for an additional day and I'm so thankful because he didn't have to most people only care about money but he saw the hurt in my eyes and must have known I was going through something I am so very grateful also doesn't change that they can get better with cleaning

Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. First off the pictures on the hotels.com site are not even remotely from the site. The room smelled like a mix between cheap bleach and piss. The shower was full of mold. I was afraid to sit on the. It was noticeably not clean. There was a crack head peering in my window. Legitimately feared for my life. I stayed about 3 hours. Asked the front desk for a refund. They denied. I got out of there as fast as I could regardless.

We had an emergency visit to the pediatric hospital and got a room here. It was very late but the woman at check in was wonderful. Cons - i couldnt get past the cable screen, rooms a little outdated but cant beat the price

There are a lot of questionable characters that stay at this hotel. It is in a bad area where there’s a lot of drugs and prostitution.. but OSF Saint Francis Hospital is literally across the street. There are some fast food restaurants nearby.. I just went there to sleep and shower while I was in town working

The building is located in an unsafe area of Peoria. I was not willing to stay in that area.

very run down, very unclean, smells like air fresherner covering cigarettes. old a/c unit, holes in bathroom door, sticky surfaces. did not walk barefoot, brought my own sheets in to use instead of the ones provided. bathroom fan was disgusting to look at. overall, was a fine stay in order to just sleep but i did not feel very clean or good in that room.

We didn't even stay. I pulled in the parking lot and called around to find another hotel. I was scared to death. People staring at my mom and I while sitting in my car. I'm guessing it was the people that live there. I guess the only way for them to make any money is to not give refunds. Expedia should be ashamed to have this listed on their app.

Is not for tourists or for business travelers. It is for homeless people and those looking to hook-up. This place should be advertised as a brothel and flop house and not as a respectable hotel.

Horrible. Was supposed to have a room at 3pm check in and they didn’t even have a room clean at 5:45pm they sent us away for an hour to clean a room. I canceled and they still charged me the full price even though they didn’t have anything ready. Do NOT STAY here. should be ashamed that they even have them on there site. Total waste of time and money!!!!!!!!

I got about 15 spider bites. It was terrible. The heater stayed on full blast and even though I turned the thermostat to 68 degrees, the heat wouldn¿t turn off. I also had to kill some creep crawlers that were in the bathroom.

Get what you pay for.

While the rooms were very clean, and we were put in a decent location. The deadbolt didnt lock to anything no chain on door as extra precaution. But it was ok for what i needed. Just one night waiting on a baby to be born. I dont think id stay there again, due to safety concerns. But the people running it were very nice, so if you really need an affordable motel near hospital for a night. This one is ok.

There was absolutely nothing I liked about this dive. Seldom do I leave such a searing bad review, but this place was beyond beliief. To say that it could easily have been a rent-by-the-hour motel or that Motel 6 is luxurious compared to this place would still not capture how horrible the Oyo was. The staff, such as it was, was rude, obnoxious, dismissive, and abrupt. That applied not only to check-in but check-out, as well. The facilities themselves were deplorable. What was presented as a 'non-smoking' room was anything but. Peeling paint, damaged floors, walls and ceilings, phantom towel bars, and no usable soap or any cups or glasses only begings to touch on the lack of tolerance for this dump.

What you see is not!!! What you get. Pictures used are not what the rooms look like. Sheets and pillows were washed but stains not removed. On all three covers had stains, including the juicy booty stains on the mattress cover. If you looking for a late night rendezvous with your local fiend or your high school crush Methany this is the place for you. If you arrive alone no worries the resident lot lizard will be happy to accompany you. AY, Yo is the perfect name for this establishment.

It was filthy. There was literally urine. on the toilet seat when I came into the room to try to use the bathroom. There were no cups no ice machine no refreshments whatsoever The sheets were filthy. The floors were discussing hair was everywhere.

Canceled my room before arrival, was turned away. Refund denied, tried contacting to resolve. Completely automated hands off zero help or refund. Facilities terrible. Glad i didn't stay, blessing in disguise, just keep the fee, if thats how you operate. Learn from mistakes

I didn’t even stay. I checked in. Went to dinner and a movie then came back hoping to just get some rest and found the following upon entering the room: roaches (plural) in many spots, stray cats right outside my room meowing like crazy and fighting over food, filthy bed, including the sheets pillow and actual mattress. There were uncleaned bodily fluid stains, residue from who knows what kind of drugs, and general filth. I walked my key back to the office and drove 4 hours home at 11pm. No refunds either so that’s wonderful.

Not sure where to begin. Hole in the door. Stains on the comforter and pillow cases. Bugs on the wall, the bed frame,and in the bathroom. Immediately walked out and asked for a refund. Had to stand in some makeshift plyboard box they call a lobby. Only prostitutes and drug dealers should stay here. That bad.

There were homeless people living on tge back side . Drug deal in front . I know because was asked if i wanted to buy . Hooker at the front door asking if i was looking for a goid time . I told the manger i was canceling my room . It was not a 5 min . Walk to the river . I wouldnt walk in the day time . O yes the big pee stain sheet covering the window. I cancel at 11 am and still hot charge for the room . It was sent to me as a no show when i told them in person . They lied to me , i felt unsafe.

Dirty room bugs and mold all over the shower current...the manager got mad at me cause the floor was wet say i caused water damage but the room was in terrible conditions..... and another thing there was blood all on me ceiling and blankets very unsanitary just fyi...

The place was nicer than I actually thought it was going to be. Only had a few problems with it. The door wouldn't shut all the way like it was supposed to and I could only get one outlet to work to plug in my phone charger.

Cheap place to stay but it was loud and “patchy.” They need to completely renovate the property not just throw patches on the walls and slap a thin layer of paint on stuff. All of the chairs and couches had dirty butt prints in the fabric. Didn’t see any roaches but came home and threw all my stuff in the washing machine to make sure I didn’t bring anything home.

The pictures this "hotel" provided to Expedia are misleading. They don't look anything like the run down property. Holes in the curtains, doors that look like they have been kicked in a time or two, holes in the shower tiling. It was clean but some rough people are using the facility as residence. It's unsafe. There was a shooting while we were there. Expedia really should remove them from their site as an option purely for safety reasons. We weren't there long.

Look, if you need somewhere to crash for a night or two then this place does the job. It has a mini fridge microwave combo, the bathroom was relatively clean, and there were no bugs. Sheets have stains, staff gets agitated if you complain (someone else who stayed told me they dipped after the manager went off on them for requesting clean sheets). But it honestly feels comparable to any cheap motel, it’s going to be shady, it’s going to feel unsafe, but it got me through the weekend and I had no problems. The surrounding area is not walking friendly, but there is a Starbucks and dunkin like a hundred feet away from the building, and more places to eat further down the street. This really is a town though that you need a car to navigate if you are not within walking distance of where you want to go.

The room was filty. I reserved a King I was given a double bed, one of the beds sheets was dirty, the bathroom sink when you turned on the water ran all over the floor and the toilet did not flush.. The Attendant was very very rude, even though I explained to him I had reservations, and that I had talked to corporate.

Overall this wasn’t the worst hotel we could have stayed at. Everything looked like they had attempted to remodel, however there was a half inch gap around the A/C leading to the outside. The floors were sticky- not clean- and we found a dirty washcloth in the bathroom. The front desk staff was nice.

We went cheap and that’s what we got! Check in was ok. Make sure you keep your things locked up. Room was pretty gross and you always have people room other rooms watching your coming and going. Also folded out the hideaway and received a very unpleasant surprise. Also no sheets or blankets provided for the hideaway. Definetly not somewhere I’d take a family thankfully it was just a friends trip.

Check in was easy, plenty of parking, and close to 74. I was happy with my accommodations; it's a no frills motel. I had a comfy bed, and a hot shower. That's all I needed. It's about one mile from the Civic Center; an easy walk. It was what I expected for the cost of the stay; I have no complaints.

Not only was it dirty and falling apart there was a gap under our door and the door barley locked the floors were stcky and there was dust and dirt cacked on the bathroom vent. There was black hair on the toilet seat when we arrived. Then our uber driver who picked us up for our show said you know this is a bad place to be right!? As a junkie approached our uber asking for money. Then we ordered pizza to be delivered after waiting over an hour thr driver was on his way wheb we got a call from dominos and rhey said for the driver safty they will not be delivering our pizza and cancelled our order!!! So now its 1 am and we cant get food. Oh not to mention there is NO LOBBY NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST EITHER. Glass window and a hole to drop your card. DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
