While check-in went well, the next morning I noticed a front desk clerk glaring at me as I entered and exited the hotel with my dog. There was no greeting even as our eyes met and after I acknowledged him with a nod. Later in the day, as my family and I were entering the hotel with our dog, a different front desk clerk approaches to ask if I signed the pet policy form. I stated yes and that I checked in the previous day. She then proceeded to ask for my room number, as she "hadn't seen me and my pet before." This exchange was uncomfortable, as other guests were close by, and insulting. I travel frequently with my dog and I've never experienced anything like this before. My dog was not barking or causing a disturbance at that time or previous day. We were simply entering and exiting the hotel. The level of aggression and unprofessionalism I experienced at this hotel very disappointing.

Shout out to Penny at the front desk and also all the grille restaurant members. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again next year. We travel alot and this was probably one of our best stays

Poor insulation between floors. Recommend staying on the top floor unless you want to hear everything going on above you.

The room was nice and big. The staff was very nice upon check-in. The bartender Jenniffer was phenomenal and got us set up to take drinks up to our room. The room was pretty clean. I think what we paid for the value of this day is not accurate. When we got up to our room our bathtub would not drain so we all took showers with the bathtub filling up with water from the shower with no way to drain it without turning the water off and when I called the front desk, they just told me that they would send somebody out in the morning and there was no concessions made it check out for the fact that all four of my family members showered in some gross water around their feet that evening prior

The room was gross. Mirrors hadn’t been cleaned, faucet was not wiped, toilet was dirty along the base, hair on nightstand and hair embedded in a clean bath towel! We asked for a different room which they offered but that room smelled VERY strongly of some sort of perfume or air freshener. To those sensitive to smell, the sheets and towels are clearly washed with some sort of detergent with a scent. We chose to just deal with the dirty room as we just needed to sleep for a couple hours before getting back on the road. We couldn’t wait to get out and won’t be back. Current ratings are clearly not accurate.

This hotel doesn't offer complementary breakfast, but does have a restaurant. also the hotel price in my option were pricey.

Location was good and facility was clean, but very overpriced (almost $400 for one night's stay) and no free breakfast. Doesn't seem like the standard for a Holiday Inn Express & Suites.

The convenience of a bar and restaurant was a good departure from other popular hotels in the area. The staff was very friendly, and the property appeared to be newer than it was. There was a large gathering area just off the lobby where our large group from all over the U.S. attending a family funeral could meet up. All-in-all, this experience prompts me to review my current hotel membership and seriously consider becoming a Holiday Inn member.

Will stay again when we are in Peoria.

The staff was completely useless with controlling the group of girl softball players. My wife attempt to call the front desk to get some help with the children running and screaming up and down the hall, but no one answered the phone. I went down to speak with the desk attendance but she was in the restaurant talk to her friend, when I tried to explain what was going on the desk attendant who was working the afternoon shift stated “she did not like my attitude”.

Check In was great; easy and friendly staff. Lobby was very inviting and had hot coffee available for free. Room was clean. Another guest was quite noisy letting doors slam shut against the flip latching lock. Asked him several times to stop slamming the door and he had 0 respect and did this until 9pm and finally put ear plugs in and went to sleep.

It is unfortunate that the checkin sttaff is more interested in talkig to friends and family on their cell than accomodating guests.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times since they opened 6 years ago. The service is not as good as it once was and I am one of ther rewards members. My last 2 stays I had issues. The front desk is not as welcoming as they once were. They used to ask you the reason for your stay, ask you if you stayed at the hotel before, and let you know about the different amenities of the hotel. This did not happen during my last 2 stays, and even when I will contact the front desk for certain reasons they were not as friendly and sometimes have attitudes. During my last day the telephone in the room did not work and would not even make local calls and they told me there was nothing they could do about it because it was the weekend. I had lost my cell phone during my visit so this was really an inconvenience for me. The front desk had also initially charged my credit card and when I contact them about it they told me that my prepaid room was not showing as prepaid and told me to contact hotels.com which I did and so the issue was rectified but it was a frustrating experience. During this particular stay and the last day we were placed in rooms on the 4th floor. During this day it was very very noisy two out of the three nights that we stayed there. Young adults were back and forth through the hallways making a lot of noise throughout the night into the morning. Room was not the type that I reserved, shower doors were dirty/rusty at the bottom. Luggage trolleys were unavailable.

We stayed on Saturday night of Easter weekend and the restaurant was scheduled to close 2 hours earlier than normal. When they heard we were planning on having 9 of us for dinner an hour before they were scheduled to close, they offered to stay open as late as we needed. The only negative was that we ran out of body wash in our shower before 2 of us were done but we made do with the hand wash available at the sink.

We booked this room and when we arrived at the hotel they stated there was no room available. They had no remorse or offering to find another room or reimbursement for the huge inconvenience. It was 9pm at night and we were left with no room.

This stay was quite expensive. The rooms were small. The fridge was warm due to being inside a cabinet. Breakfast wasn’t included with the cost of 2 nights which was $450 total. I am booked for another tournament in July and I will be canceling.

We had a lovely room for our first night however the heavy rain outside leaked in from the window and splattered around the area. We were able to move rooms and were given free breakfast for the inconvenience. The second room was less than wonderful. Second room was a bit smaller but the biggest problem was the vent in the bathroom. Even when it was turned off it would make a rhymic noise. Then the light above the entryway would randomly dim and brighten on its own. Not wanting to move again we put up with it. We usually stay at this hotel once a year but this was the first time I was unhappy with my stay.

We were in for a funeral and Andrea at frint desk was able to accommodate us and much appreciated.

I have stayed at this property before and appreciated it's convenience for my drive through. The only issue I had this time is how far I was from the elevator when trying to get my dogs in and out of the building. Thankfully they are perfectly fine going down the stairs as we were close to the fire exit. The room is clean and the staff friendly. It's located right across the street from the grocery store and a name recognized coffee shop. That was all I needed for this visit.

The employee at the front desk it was a young woman. She wears glasses if that helps but she’s super nice really friendly does her job well. Explained everything flawlessly and is a great great great worker. Definitely deserves a raise or some type of prize because she is awesome!!!

Location - very close to the purpose of our visit. The parking was great - it was very crowded Saturday but it wasn't crazy loud so I was grateful for that.

I stayed in a suite that was fabulous with a bathroom for the living room, and a jacuzzi tub and shower separately in the bathroom next to the bedroom. There was a wiring problem that needs to be fixed: the bathroom light in the bedroom will not stay on unless the master switch in the living room is on, and that is a waste of electricity keeping the living room lights on all night. Please fix this!!! I hosted cousins at the restaurant and they seated us outside on the patio and the service was superb even though we were the only ones on the patio. Free coffee in the lobby after dinner was a bonus.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was super friendly. The area around the hotel had some decent shopping if needed including a grocery store across the street. There were nice areas for walking my dogs. The only concerns I had were that the hallways were super humid and the door to my room didn't shut completely when I left unless I pulled it shut. This could have been a safety concern if I hadn't noticed it as I was coming and going. I would stay here again if I were passing through.

Hotel did not have record that I already fully paid for the hotel room through hotels.com. I had to show my receipt as proof. I also reserved a single king bed hotel room but was given a room with two double beds instead.

The personnel were all very friendly and helpful. Sydney was especially helpful in our room arrangements.

I would have given the hotel a perfect score. It was beautiful and very clean. Staff were very nice. My only complaint is that the state mask mandate was not enforced. There was a baseball team staying at the hotel and many members walked around without a mask. Although we are vaccinated 1) its a rule, no different then requiring shoes and 2) my husband is immune compromised due to previous cancer treatment and so he is very uncomfortable when people don't wear their masks. He spoke to an employee who said "we try our best" but we never saw anyone ask these people to put on their masks.
