Check-in took forever, other entrance key reader didn’t work, and there was limited option for breakfast (no milk for cereal despite having cereal out).
- 3/5
The property was very clean. I don’t know how long this hotel has been open because it looked somewhat new. The staff is very nice and helpful and no noise to complain about during my stay. It’s close to the mall and other businesses in the area. The only issue I had while staying here was that the shower in my room only had hot water. There was no way to get the water to a decent enough temperature. I couldn’t take a proper shower because the water was so hot. Other than that I would stay here again but honestly it wouldn’t be my first choice.

The staff is wonderful, The place is so clean. Housekeeper comes Everyday, my stay here is wonderful

No towels in room, sheets smelled of urine, took for ever to check in, took forever to get copy of bill. Never again
- 2/5
We got there there was people right outside the door drinking. Took forever to get checked in. Also there is $100 deposit you have to pay when you get there even though the room was paid for online. There was a cockroach in our room. Door jam looked like the door was kicked in at one point. A big gap at the bottom of our door. Also window was shut but had a gap with a breeze.
- 4/5
No problem! Easy check in and friendly staff.
- 1/5
We checked in and found our room door was open and a fan in the room drying the carpet which was still wet. Went back to desk they removed the fan.the room was suppose to have a refrigerator but was not there.i went back to front desk she came to room to check then had one brought to us.the room had no chair to sit in at all. They hadto bring a chair for us.noticed room cold found a window open .there was only one partial roll toilet paper no extra one.again had to ask for another roll there was only 6 cars in parking lot so could of switched us rooms but didnt the indoor pool was closed early every evening..
- 4/5
They also charge a $100 deposit which is not stated on the site you don't find out about it until you've checked in already if you ise a card you won't get it back for 5 to 7 businesses days which sucks. Other than that it was alright.

Dirty, lights not working, curtains hanging off rods. Place should be condemned. Shocked that any travel partner has this place as an option
- 1.5/5
Very old, paint chipping off the walls. Shower rods rusty windows in the room did NOT lock. Microwave barely worked.

Room was nice. However, lights or outlets didn’t work. The fridge didn’t work neither. There were other guests that were running the hall and slamming doors between 12-2am. Other than that the room it set was nice

The price was nice. It was very unclean. There were stains all over the bed and a bunch of hair in the sheets like it wasn’t even washed.

Location was convenient. When we arrived we were told the breakfast will not be available as there were issues with the area where its served. If you used the stairs from 3rd floor to go down, the lobby wad blocked off with paint cans and you had to exit outside.
- 2/5
Smell, construction, dirty, no compensation for breakfast down.
- 3/5
It was clean, close by lots of stores and food options, and the room was nice for the price. There was no water pressure one morning for my shower, the breakfast was very limited and not to be picky, but there wasn't even butter for the dry waffles lol.

Indoor heated pool, it allowed us to go swimming while it was still snowing outside Tv at one point randomly unhooked from internet and took a while to reconnect. Also just a suggestion, add something to where we can use the tv kinda like a Roku tv and can access Hulu or YouTube and not have to use our phones.
- 3/5
It’s was clean in smelled great The fact that drug addicts we’re knocking on my door. In how housekeeping just walks into ur room with out knocking.

I believe breakfast was billed as continental, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot. Because of that, the offerings were more than expected. I had anticipated just a bagel bar, but there was also cold cereal, oatmeal packet, yogurt, juice, and a waffle station. The pool looked very clean. Public areas appeared clean. This place was very affordable. I had booked online about 4 days prior to my stay. The morning of my stay, the hotel messaged me, stating that there were certain payment options that they did not accept. That disclosure should have been stated much earlier. It didn't affect me, but still... The hallway and room were way too warm. The AC in the room worked very well, however, so I was able to make the room comfortable. I didn't use the pool due to how warm the room was. I was recovering from bronchitis and the air felt so heavy that it would have been difficult for me to breathe had I stayed in the room for very long. Some of the bedding had slight stains , although clean. The shower area wasn't cleaned well enough. A soap wrapper paper remained in the shower and there was a smudge on the shower wall. Housekeeping was not attentive enough. The sink area, however, appeared spotless. None of these concerns would prevent me from staying here again, but only on a solo stay. I wouldn't bring my partner here, because she wouldn't like it. Due to a crying child in the next room, I went to the front desk to request a room change, but was informed that nothing else was available.

It was conveniently located and close to my job. Had a nice pool. 1.) I got to the room and you could tell they started cleaning but did not finish. Someone else’s dirty towels were still in there and the bed still needed to be made. 2.) they had an issue charging booking.com after I paid you and they tried to charge my card another $520 after I had already paid for the reservation. 3.). I had a huge safety concern. The final night of my stay I was up late (couldn’t sleep) and about two am there was knocking and banging on my door. Now I’m a female staying alone I was not getting up to check. But I did in the morning and my door was sitting open. And I know it was closed and bolted previously.
- 4/5
Well I didn't really "stay here" but it's was fine for what I needed it for. I just had a lady friend who was in town and we used it, just like I used her. But that's fine as well.
- 3/5
The staff were so nice and helpful and I could just drive 5 minutes to the store or restaurants
- 2.5/5
Location was acceptable. The bed was at least comfortable... The whole place seemed like it was an attempted remodel, done with the cheapest materials and shortest amount of time. The TV wasn't connected to anything, so completely useless. No mini fridge, no ice (despite there being an ice bucket in the room). AC wouldn't turn off ever. Single pane windows. Definitely a cheap hotel with cheap owners.
- 1/5
Our room had roaches
- 1/5
My room was dirty like it wasn’t clean and food was shut down which wasn’t mentioned online and I still haven’t received my deposit it’s been more than two weeks I do not recommend anyone to stay here this the worst hotel I have been to in my entire life
- 3/5
Not bad for a cheep hotel and would definitely stay here again. Clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Don’t really need much more for an overnight stay
- 1/5
Probably wouldn’t go back
- 1/5
This room was awful. It was dirty, their mini fridge was set way to cold and froze my drink after only being in the fridge for 6 hours, the AC unit was coming apart from the wall, the blinds fell out of the window when i tried to lower it, and there was a brand new one sitting in the room NO washcloths in the room at all, no hairdryer in the room. The breakfast area there was hardly anythings there, and when i went there at 730 it was dirty. Do NOT stay here.
- 5/5
The staff there were so kind. They were patient for us having a late check out without feeling like we were being hounded. The bed was comfortable and TV was big. Clean room also.
- 4/5
Front desk personnel was very courteous, professional, and made checking in very easy.
- 5/5
Host was great, didn't stay long. Only problem I had is their doors didn't close all the way.
- 4/5
The rooms were really nice, its got a clean pool. There was no breakfast available like advertised, which i understood because theyre still renovating, but it was one of the two reasons i booked with them so it was still a bummer. Convenient location close to several restaurants.
- 2/5
Curtains had red stains on them, could be paint, but no red paint in the room. No remote, called for one, it turned on, but was not able to get any channels. Room was just dirty, had empty bottles of soda behind the side table. Would not recommend.

Pretty great property even while they seem to be doing a ton of updates. It’s nice to see people updating things.
- 3/5
The pool was cold and there was no towels or seating in the pool area. We could not get the TV to work in our room. We asked for 3 more pillows but only got 1. The free breakfast was really good though.

Not what is on the website pool not available
- 1/5
Whole place smelled. The keycards are Marriot-Bonvoy cards with the logo sharpied out. TV was awful, the shower was rusted. Just overall awful.
- 3/5
This property is still being rehab.
- 1/5
Was putvin an unfinished and dirty room. Staff member checked a room and told me it was clean. Upon arriving to the room the shower and sinks were dirty. On top of that there was a dead and a live roach in the sink. I have pictures and videos. My worst experience yet. Also, very questionable guess....like hiding at a back bench and pacing in and out while i was waiting for my new room to be checked.
- 4/5
It’s by good food
- 1/5
When we got there place was empty. Smelled of smoke, was dirty. The front desk guy showed us a room first before we even checked in. It was gross, stains in towels, bed, looked liked you would catch something from just walking on floor. When we asked to see another room. Same thing. The front desk clerk ( who was very nice) was not shocked we didn’t want to stay there. Couldn’t do a refund had to wait for manager the next day. Manager declined the refund. So now fighting to get my money back. Advise to stay far away from there.
- 5/5
Clean. Quiet. Convenient.

Did not stay checked out.

Well when we pulled up only 2 cars in parking lot, atm doesn't work, no breakfast, pool closed, 1st room they gave us had blood stains on sheets, no shower curtain, bathroom door looking like it was going to fall if touched, the main door would not lock anyone could just walk in on you, 2nd room have a bunch of dangerous black mold on ceiling which could be deadly to someone, the 3rd room was a little more acceptable but not worth the money they could not pay me to go stay there again
- 5/5
Nice and convenient
- 2/5
I waited 20 - 30 minutes for the bath towel(s), then remembered I had some old towels in my truck I have there to throw on the seats if I'm really sweaty or dirty from work. So, I got one of those towels and took my shower. I went out at about 8:10 pm to see a local friend, and there were no towels yet. When I returned to my room at about 11:20 pm, the towels were on the floor outside my room. They provided 2 wash clothes and 2 hand towels (which I already had) and 1 bath towel. I don't know when they showed up, but it was after I had waited at least about 1.5 hours. Thankfully, the bed was REALLY comfortable, and the temperature control system good, so when I got to bed I slept well through the night. The room was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled, but I had to use the ice bucket and its plastic bag as a trash can. The person at check out in the morning was really sorry about the reported items, but I told him I didn't need more apologies as much as the manger needs to address these items.
- 5/5
Rented a smoking room and didn't get an ashtray
- 5/5
It's was very enjoyable staff was awesome but there was a mix up about the room deposit that wasn't mentioned on the website and how old the other person has to be to stay in the room but other than that it's was great will do again really soon 🙂♥️♥️
- 2/5
Room was supposedly checked to verify ready, when arrived at the room the door was not secured and had to go back to the desk to ask for tissue paper as there was only about a quarter of a roll. Water in the shower was not very hot even turned as high/hot as it would go. Breakfast was Cold scrambled eggs and there was only two biscuits, no meat option, no forks - had to eat with a spoon - no napkins, never saw anyone/staff to ask for any items. Very noisy, could hear next rooms TV on all night and doors slamming most of the evening while trying to sleep.

This hotel is very nasty booked online it looks nice came down to Peoria for my family reunion.CHECK IN WAS TERRIBLE THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED HAD A VERY BAD SMELL .OTHER HOTELS WAS SOLD OUT THIS WAS JUST SO UNFAIR AND ITS AN PANDEMIC .I NEED TO BE REFUNDED MY MONEY BACK THIS WAS SO TERRIBLE THEY NEEDS TO DO BETTER

Took a last minute trip to Peoria and this was one of the only hotels that still had rooms available at the time of booking. While the staff was friendly, I don't recommend staying at this hotel. All common areas smelled of marijuana from the moment you walked into the hotel. We were in room 202 and the air conditioning did not work, which made for a miserable night when it had been in the 90s all day. The air conditioner turned out, but for the most party just blew hot air regardless of what temperature it was set at. We had not other option but to stay in that room, as the hotel staff had told us that they were completely sold out as of 9pm. I don't think we got any sleep, as it was just too warm and sticky. We reached out to try and get a refund or some compensation, but the hotel refused to budge from their "refund policy" despite not providing us with the amenities that we had pay for (air conditioning!). We will be escalating this to their head offices as this was not acceptable. Spare yourself the headache and pay a little more to stay somewhere else.
- 4/5
Overall stay was pleasant. Quite and staff was polite.
- 2/5
I would never stay at the hotel again my shower didn't work the towels were stained the pillow even has a stain on it the actual pillow not the pillow case completely ran down hotel if I could have got my money back I would have I am very upset with how my free Room was but at least I know not to stay at econo lodge

Everything was bad checked in and left the same night
- 1/5
This place was a dump. Forced to stay here due to lack of options because a concert was taking place in town and everything was sold out. Everything was dirty. EVERYTHING!
- 2/5
Had to stay for an emergency plumbing issue. They had two tiny pillows per bed. The attendant didn’t want to give us any more; but finally did. The shower stall(no tub) had chipping paint. The fan screamed the whole time it was on. The beds were hard as rocks. And ironically, the toilet stopped up as we were getting ready to leave.
- 3/5
would not issue a recipt upon checkout. property said non-smoking- but it wasnt
- 2/5
There were no towels in room. The pillow cases were yellow and dingy. Stains on bed spreads
- 1/5
The guy at the front desk not only refused service to me because of my service dog but was yelling at some lady on the phone as well. She argued with him as we did. Horrible I wish they would get investigated from human rights. So rude!
- 3/5
good place to sleep nothing else
- 2/5
The check in person was not very pleasant. There is no conditioner for the shower and the pool isn’t open until 3pm. The whole building smelled like pot. The room didn’t have the air conditioning on and took a long time to cool down when we got there. Very disappointed. Won’t be staying again.

Econolodge in the mid west has lost me and my company peers as a client.
- 2/5
When we got to our room, we found broken handles on the dresser, the lock on the door was broken, and the plaster was pealing of the ceiling and the drawer on the night stand was broken. We were there for 4 nights and the maid only made the beds twice.
- 1/5
Do not stay here. Worst hotel ever. Should be shut down.
- 5/5
Very efficient check in process. Large rooms. Free breakfast.
- 1/5
Expected a way better quality stay, especially for the price.
- 3/5
While I know there are many hotels in this area, I chose this particular one because of the location. I had requested a room with a king bed. It was obviously a handicapped accessible room that is not used too often. The bar in the shower stall was so rusted, there were rust stains on the shower curtain. The front part of the water faucet in the shower was missing, so there was absolutely no cold water in the shower. There was a pocket door going into the bathroom, when you went in and closed the door - it locked on you. Thank heavens there was someone else in the room that could help get the door open. The ceiling above the bed was in dire need of repair, cracks, many water spots. I will never stay at this particular hotel again.
- 1/5
This is the most disgusting hotel room I have ever seen. It was filthy: sheets were nasty (2 big "wet" spots on them). Globs of hair all over the blanket. Deadolt on the door did not work. Room smelled horrible. No towels. Red sticky stuff all over the bathroom counter. Needless to say, shortly after check in we lleft!!!! And I am out $136!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!
- 1/5
The bathtub was broke up, paint missing in the tub, the stopper was broken, the door was splintered into three different parts, the covers for the bedding was burnt, plaster was coming off he wall, the couch had holes in it and was decrepit. With that being said, the management was rude.. Woke up and no water was working in the sink, toilet, or shower. The room should have been free and apology given, none of the above happened. We wouldn't in a million years refer our worst enemy to stay here. counters were burnt, was put in a smoke room.
- 3/5
The room was clean, but dated. The location was good. The amenities were not available (pool, hot tub) but the price was decent.
- 2/5
doors were broke, ice machine and vending machines broke bugs in the room over all bad experience
- 2/5
The room was dirty. The shower and sink were horrific. The bed was uncomfortable and the linens had holes in them. Couldn't control temperature of room. Will never stay here again.
- 3/5
The ice machine was broken on the 1st floor with a sign posted telling guests to go to the 2nd floor.
- 3/5
Clean good location. Accomodations in room nice, refrigerator and microwave.
- 3/5
Toilet was unsanitized / unclean; so was floor of shower. Toilet seat dirty and so was the bowl on inside.
- 2/5
Bugs in room. Cover was off the control panel of my a/c unit. And control didn't work porperly. Two very small pillows on the beds. Looked like throw pillows. And only one ice machine supposably working, but had no ice. Breakfast was a joke. And why is the workout room next where your suppose to be eating. Then I got charged 2 dollars extra for my bill for my room on my card and then also extra 2 dollars on my card.
- 1/5
This was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed. My family and I all slept in our clothes using sweatshirts for blankets. A used crusty wash cloth hanging in the shower, spattered sheets, walls, shower curtain, green "ice" in the minifridge. I will definitely not wait until 3 weeks before an event to look for hotels in Peoria. We got back from the event at midnight and another guest was complaining about his daughter having to sleep with cockroaches in the room! I'm sure the hotel will delete this entire post and the place will continue to operate.
- 1/5
There was food inside the air conditioner the tables was dirty and there was a dead spider smashed on the bathroom wall. We had no towels no soap or shampoo. The staff was rude and disrespecrful. This was the worst expierence ever.
- 4/5
Very quiet. Good bed. Good continental breakfast.help Staff were extremely helpful.
- 4/5
The stay was good except for door slamming from about 10 PM to after midnight. Everytime I started to call the desk it stopped for a while. Since we were on the 1st floor, not far from the front desk, I would think who ever was working would have heard it. Then put a stop to it. Therefore, we didn't get much sleep since we had to get up early.
- 4/5
Need better attention in bathrooms room was comfortable breakfast was ok
- 3/5
When we requested extra towels we were told only one towel per guest was allowed. Most Econolodges weve stayed at were wonderful. This one was not as wonderful.
- 1/5
There was left over food in the microwave of the hotel that smelled. There were no bath towels, hand towels or wash clothes in the room. The hallway smelled so bad of pot.
- 1/5
Hotel smelt like cigarette smoke. In the galls and room. Half our room lights work. There where water stains on the ceiling. There was a weird noise coming from the outlets when we tried the charge out devices (phones and tablets).
- 2/5
Room was old, dated, and not too clean. Beds were small and very soft. Bathroom was almost a half bath size with pocket door that would not close all the way and would get stuck. We will be spending few more dollars next time to get better hotel. This place was not worth the few.
- 3/5
The sink still had toothpaste in it from a privious guest and was very hot. It was very hot outside, so I feel they should have turned the air on prior to check in. Also, when I booked the room I only booked 2 nights, but added another night later the same day, when I checked in I asked if I needed to come back down and recheck in for the third night and was told no. Then on the original check out day, some one from the front desk knocked on the door and said it was time to check out, to which I replied that I'd added another day and was told nothing else needed to be done. Finally, as I was checking out they said I had added the extra day the day before and tried to charge me aount $15 more than what my booking said.
- 3/5
Room had cigarette butts on the floor, smelled like rotten cigarettes, burn holes in the blanket, pillows, floor, and chairs, other than that........
- 3/5
This is a basic hotel with a comfortable bed and nice shower. The room was old and the breakfast was below average.
- 1/5
My room was filthy, the sheets had hair in the bed , the linen had burn holes and the smell. I was in town for a funeral and this was all they had available or I would have changed hotels. Then I booked 2 days and the second day I had to go back to the front desk to get my keys deactivated and they charged my card $2.00! Worst hotel experience I can remember.
- 2/5
The chair in my room was broken. I told the manager first day but he never brought a good one. The refrigerator shelves were broken and they ignired it also. We couldnt use the frig. At night someone drove really fast through the parking lot and hit a car driving it about 15 feet into a concrete wal. Our car was side swiped. The breakfast was raisin bran and stale bagels.
- 3/5
Smelled faintly of cigarettes and urine, dresser drawers were broken and dangling
- 5/5
Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean
- 4/5
Great hotel for overnight stay for Bradley University graduation.
- 3/5
Owner of the place is very very rude he has an attitude and very poor customer service. Any service that I asked for wether it be fresh towels or linen he would fuss at me and lecture me about next time get it from the house keeper. I didn’t like that. Everyone eles is very nice even tho they ridiculously short staffed the workers are very sweet and relatable loved that.
- 1/5
This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It didn’t appear than any of the surfaces had been wiped off, the door leading to our room barely closed, there wasn’t enough water pressure to even get a washcloth wet in the sink, the toilet barely flushed, the smoke alarm was missing and there were used hypodermic needles laying in the shrubs by the back door.
- 2/5
Staff was rude and refused to switch us to a different room after toilet wouldn’t work so we had to leave early and go to a different hotel.
- 1/5
Bathroom door was a slider and off its track. Shower peeling its surface. Toilet clogged 1st use. Comforters full of cig burns. Pull back covers to find pubic hairs and nasty stains. Went to front desk for new sheets. After 3rd set they were stain free. Matress pad made me throw up in my mouth. Chair and table we so wobbly you could not use. Huge stain on curtain covering window. Place needs to be condemned. Not worth any amount of cash to stay.
- 2/5
There was 1-2 cars in the parking lot when we arrived around 6:30p -- was the first clue. When we got in the room, we check the bed and their was a huge stain on the sheet, but didn't appear to have been used, just stained. There were 2 bath towels -- no wash cloths, hand towels. Went down to the desk and got them. When we got ready to go to bed, we found dead ants under the pillows. We were watching TV and he found an ant crawling on the bed. We looked but didn't see any more. Next day when we got back to the room, it had not been cleaned and no clean towels. He went to the desk to get towels. While he was gone, I found an ant crawling on the sink, so I captured it in a cup and took it to the front desk. He offered to move us to another room, but no kings were available -- just doubles -- so we stayed in our room. It was a non-smoking room and the bedspread had a burn hole. The toilet kept running -- had to jiggle the handle after every flush. Breakfast was make-your-own waffles, plain bagels, pastries or cereal -- and the bagels and pastries tasted stale. We won't be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We are relocating to this area and the staff at this hotel is the best that we have come across in any hotel that we have ever stayed in. I recommend this hotel to anyone that comes this way or lives in this area!!!

On a tight schedule. Arrived late, left early. Amenities were great. Would like to have had more time for R & R.

our room was nice and clean. it good use alittle bit of a update on the furnishing and things. Juat al little out dated. Miranda at the front desk was absoluely great. MY room got booked for the same date as our hotel was for the night before . She helped me to get a credit for the night before and charge me the same rate for our night we stayed. Hotels .com was also a great help(they are theones who gave me a credit for the first night to use on my next stay).

The owner (i believe) is an AN ABSOLUTE JERK!!! I thought i had reserved a king smoking room and hadn't. NO BIG DEAL CAUSE I DONT SMOKE MUCH.. But, he went on, and on about what the consequences of smoking would be if and when he detected the smoke scent.. Since i even mentioned smoking, he made a very rude comment about me not wanting to spend a very small xtra fee to get a smoking room with 2 beds. Then, after paying for my room with my debit card so it would be on file for incidentals, he tried having his staff get a large cash deposit as "insurance" as an incentive not for me to spoke.. ARE U KIDDING ME?!?! AND THEN, i go into my non-smoking, king bed room and it smelled worse than a smokers car with spilt ashtrays!!! I called front desk to have someone come down so i wouldnt get the rediculous charge and he trid telling me he couldnt smell anything.... wtfe!!! And it didnt have the couch in the room i specifically asked for so i ended up giving over half of the rooms initial charge more to change rooms.. NOT RECOMENDED!

Easy check in. Good location. No complaints. Room had recently been reworked new carpet bath redo. I did not use the breakfast offering.

Walls are very thin and could hear the people next door having sex all night long like they were in the room with us. I'm glad my kids were with us.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, as I had mistakenly booked a smoking room. In fact, I was so impressed that I hate to leave a bad review. But to be honest about our stay, I have to disclose the condition of the room. I can overlook a certain amount of burn stains in the countertop, sink, and dressers; however, I cannot deal with the 30+ burn holes in the bedding, as the bedding is something that can be easily replaced. There were 21 holes in my bedding alone (I counted), and there were almost as many in the other bed. I expected a lot better with this chain.
