Pool was closed, again. I’ve stayed here 3 times due to the location but every time the pool has been closed. The night staff was wonderful but the morning staff was not great at all. And the breakfast was terrible.

Price and location Staff that we interacted with tried to be helpful but could not/did not help. We had a plumbing issue and asked it to be looked at on our way out for the day. The person at the front desk did not know how to handle it. When we got back later that evening, our keys did not open the door, but yet the plumbing issue was still there.

The staff was very warm and welcoming as well as helpful.

Location and breakfast was fine. What could have been better was if someone cleaned out the A/C filters and drip pans as there was the heavy smell of mold and mildew coming out of the unit. We had to turn off the A/C unit because my son and I are highly allergic to mold. We woke up in the morning congested, coughing and generally feeling terrible with raging headaches and weakness.

We have stayed here numerous times and never been disappointed. Great value.

I didn't eat breakfast, but there were lots of food options around the hotel. I thought the hotel's cleanliness and overall appeal were great! I loved my room upgrade and was very happy! My room was upgraded, and that was awesome! The bedroom section had good airflow, but the other section didn't. Also, I did tell the staff that the shower handle was separated from the wall.

Our room was satisfactory but I really disliked the mirror light over the bathroom sink. Not bright enough and dislike the cool blueish lighting. The shade on the window didn’t darken the room enough especially since there was a flashing airport signal light shining in our room! On the plus side, bed and pillows were comfortable though we asked for a blanket since the bedspread was very lightweight.

The breakfast amenities were very good, the hotel staff was very friendly. The lighting on the bathroom vanity mirror needs to be brighter in order to highlight any facial details. I had to request a room cleaning twice because it was never completed after the first request. Overall, the experience was above average.

I need a queen sized room with two beds two adults

The lighting in the sink area is horrible. It is SO dark that I can’t see to apply makeup.

Every tile in the bathroom was loose. Only one outlet worked in the room besides what the TV was plugged into. The smoke alarm was hanging off the wall. The TV and remote did not work properly at all. The staff member at the front desk had both of his air pods in even when trying to speak to him.

Pool was down, but we didn't care and had no plans to use it. The room was a vast improvement over the last hotel we had been staying at, and was clean. Breakfast was simple and good, the staff was helpful and chill. Only complaint was that the shower was cold, like room temperature at most.

This was perfectly passable for a quick overnight stay. The building has some wear and tear they need to address our bathroom door knob was loose, scapes on the walls etc. it was clean though seemed recently updated. Beds were ok better than many. Didn’t get the breakfast, but looked okay for free. Price was good too.

Anyway staff was great. Breakfast was good. And you can get coffee out in the lobby anytime.

Allison who runs the hotel is the most kind, friendly person I’ve met in a long time. I stayed there multiple days due to my mom being in hospice. She was caring empathetic and just a great lady asking how she was doing everyday until the day she passed. She truely made me feel at home during this time of sorrow. ❤️

Close to Kroger and some restaurants! I asked for a handicap room close to front door or elevator and was given a room Way down almost to end of the hallway. They were completely sold out so was crowded even breakfast took way longer since they only have 1 waffle maker and there were abundance of kids

Did not stay for breakfast. Had to be at hospital for tests without allowed to eat food. We did not have a shower head and could not take a bath either. Staff said they were cleaning the shower head, They apologized for not replacing it. We had to go without getting cleaned up. The manager said they would give us a complete refund but as of yet have not gotten a refund to my credit card or even heard from them.

The room was nice. Jetted tub was dirty but I disinfected myself. The breakfast was simple. I did arrive a couple hours early and wanted to check in early but staff wanted an additional $50. I declined and went and ate. The location was at the edge of town and farmland, giving a very quiet atmosphere.

Location close to, restraints,Kroger, dollar tree and highways. Breakfast has a few options. Room size is nice. Some handicap rooms are not close to elevators or front doors.

Ice cold pool and broken hot tub

The staff was nice and the breakfast was decent We chose this location to use the pool and when we arrived they told us the pool and hot tub were closed for the weekend. The next morning we asked another staff person and they said the pool is actually open but the hot tub is closed. The pool room was very cold and the actual pool was also freezing so it was not an enjoyable experience. Another guest we talked to that seems to stay here frequently mentioned that the heating in the pool room is always an issue so we will never stay here again.

The room was clean but the hotel is dated and starting to show its age. The tv remote was klunky, it would not change channels by pressing numbers. Check-in was seamless and staff was excellent. Overall it was okay and I’d book it again.

You people at Expedia lying to me and false advertising to me started the whole bad experience (which I plan to open a complaint to both the ADA and the FTC about your dishonesty and treatment of your customers), and it continued to go downhill from there!

The staff was rude when I said something about my room being dirty when I check into the hotel . Also we could even swim do to the water being ice cold when it suppose to be a heated pool . Probably won’t stay there again

Pool broke ice cold. Luke warm hot tub jets barely work. There was hair and bugs floating in hot tub. No cable tv or any channels . Super pissed , i have stayed here multiple times last couple months. I booked it with 11 yr old son so we could swim and chill in room and watch a movie or something. What a let down and on top they charged $300 deposit ! The was nothing on website about everthing being down or out of service and still charge 300. Their own shot is broken why change so much. Not happy at all. Might just start foing to stoney creek inn.

The bathtub faucet leaked (a stream, not a dribble) and they didn't fix it the first time I asked. Next day it was "fixed" until I took a shower, then started up again. No bathroom venting. I spilled something on the carpet and when I blotted it up the cloth I used was black with dirt/grime. Gross. They upgraded me at check-in, which was nice, and they do have a fair-enough breakfast but otherwise would not recommend. The last time I stayed there the heating/cooling unit was not working well (blasting full fan cooling 24/7) and I couldn't get anyone interested in fixing it for me. I know this hotel is at a lower price point, but you can get a lot better for not much more money

We originally was placed in a room where the heat was not working. The room was freezing, we went to the front desk to let them know and the attendant told us he had previously reported the heater. Besides that everything else was okay. We went to the pool while they found us another room.

Beds were clean. The bathroom is a little old/outdated and the curtain rod was slanted, so the curtain wouldn’t stay shut. Elevator is very small, so we took the stairs. Breakfast was decent. Felt like a safe area and a Panera is within walking distance.

The property and room was exceptional in condition and cleanliness. The breakfast was excellent, but would have liked butter and syrup for the waffles. However, unlike any other place I have been to, they did provide strawberry compote and whipped cream for the waffles which was delightful. Unfortunately, the whirlpool/hot tub at the pool was down, but everything else was wonderful

Good value for a quick stay

The pool was cold and hot tub down due to boiler being broken. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were awoken at 2am to the fire alarm. 1st time it shut off so we figure false alarm. Then it went off a second time. Spent 45 minutes outside waiting to be allowed back in. Once back in, there was a smoke detector dripping water on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was gross. Things were empty and when we asked if they were brining out more, we were told maybe in a while. My boys wanted milk and when they went to drink it, despite it not being expired, it was curdled and soured. The creamer in the large jug by the coffee was the same. I told the worker and she just said “hmm ok” and walked away. When we checked out, the front desk apologized for the fire alarm (a few checking out had mentioned they felt bad for the young family with little boys) and she went on to say that usually when it happens they just reset the system, so it’s a known issue. I mentioned the food and milk and she just said “oh”. Nothing done to make anything better.

The hotel must have been experience a fire alarm problem. There was a constant beeping in the lobby area. I understand things happen- but it was clear guests that had stayed the night prior were not happy still with this constant beeping (allegedly a fire alarm at 12am evacuated the building) and were complaining at the front desk when we tried to check in. The hotel has been seemingly updated and I’d agree with its rating listed

We enjoyed our stay at Americinn. The room was clean and inviting. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The facility is fairly up to date. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was a little better than at most hotels. The front desk clerk was quite helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, and even providing information on a nearby walking/bicycling trail.

They couldn’t find my reservation number even though I showed them the receipt. I believe it’s hotels.com who is at fault. I will bet use hotels.com again. Always directly with actual property. Saves you a lot of time & energy especially trying to get back a refund from hotels.com

The property great how you set my reservation for a jacuzzi suite which was under maintenance i had a room that i felt overcharged for, your error. Then your rep offers a 50 token or whatever, i want my reservation refunded.

The staff was not friendly or helpful. When checking out, there were not luggage carts - for which I checked numerous times. The staff provided no help even though I had a lot of luggage to carry - let me remind you we were out at the end of a long hallway. We probably will not stay there again.

We had a great stay at the AmericInn in Peoria! The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay extra comfortable. The staff were consistently helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location was ideal—it made getting to and from various softball fields quick and easy. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area, especially for sports tournaments or family trips!

Fridge in room didn't work which was unfortunate. Couldn't eat our leftovers. Lights in the room were strange. Had to turn the bathroom lights on to get the lights by the bed to work. Also had an outlet that wouldn't work by the bed. Overall good experience and probably would stay again.

Did not like the fact that we couldn't control the air condition...the room was much too cold. We actually had to turn the heat on in order to warm the room. Also, the small refrigarator did not keep our items cool.

Nice rooms, coffee all day long. The only thing they need is a bench outside to sit or a table and chairs.

My wife and I never got to stay at the AmericInn despite having paid reservations for two nights. Feeling under the weather, I delayed our trip and did not arrive the first night. We arrived around 1:30 the next afternoon to find out our reservation was no longer valid because we did not call and cancel the previous night which we had already paid for. Someone "altered" our reservation and gave our room to someone else to fill up the hotel. This was an unpleasant surprise after driving 3 1/2 hours and we have yet to receive a refund for the 2nd night.

Breakfast was really good, staff was really friendly and accommodating. It is in a nice area where the farthest you have to drive to do something is about 26 minutes. Pool was a constant warm temperature and the rooms were really clean. Worth the money you pay for. The fire alarm went off the last day.

This one is a gem! Very quiet, safe area near shopping. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool looked clean and inviting.Easy, free parking. Panera Bread close walking distance away. If you like catfish, try JJ's Fish and Chicken on Knoxville Road (HW 40) 5 or 6 miles south. Easy drive down that street to downtown Peoria. Saw a show at Scottish Rite cathedral...excellent sound, beautiful old building.

We arrived around midnight and the guy at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Our stay was short (just one overnight, from about midnight to 9am), but all the staff we encountered was working and was friendly.

Stayed here with my two kids when visiting family for Good Friday. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, pool area was great. There were pool toys in a bin near the pool and lots of comfortable seating for the adults, so I was pretty happy. Breakfast was only so-so but what do you expect for $95/night? Would recommend!

Had issues with heat/AC that took them days to fix. Somehow finally fixing the unit caused the bathroom fan to run 24/7. I asked for more coffee pods (only got pods for day #1 of a four day stay). The lighting in the bathroom is extremely poor, whole room was quite dark in fact. The bed had just a super-thin duvet with sheeting, with no extra blankets which was tough the first two nights when the unit blasted cool air all night. I give them props for a nicer-than -usual free breakfast. I would not stay at this property again.

Housekeeping was nonexistent. Someone dropped off towels when we requested them but the room was not straightened in four days. At least there was always fresh coffee available in the lobby. hello.

We checked into a room where there about an hour and the front desk checked someone else into the same room due to a mistake they had and people tried repeatedly to force their way through our door while we were trying to get changed after taking a shower. Will not be staying at this property again.

We had a large group of wrestlers for state championship. The hotel was clean, the staff was great. The breakfast was great.

Front desk was very rude. Lobby and breakfast room were packed with a wrestling team parents from 7:30 pm till past midnight. Kids running through the halls ,myself and my 1 year old baby couldn’t sleep. Will never stay there again. Cost way too much for what we got!

Very clean. Very comfortable. Except for the young child that ran the halls and knocked on doors all evening. The exhaust fan in the bathroom does not work, the toilet base is loose. Overall a good stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had an excellent stay. The my son and I had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The entire staff was friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. Breakfast was also fantastic! Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay enjoyable. We will be back to stay again soon when we visit Peoria again

I’ve stayed at other more expensive hotels in Peoria, and this was so much nicer than anywhere else I’ve stayed. The staff was awesome, the room was clean, it was great.

Everything was good

Weirdest thing about the hotel was that there is no elevator! We had to drag all our bags and up a long flight of stairs. Very odd.

Staff were great. Hotel all in all was very welcoming and cleanliness was great for the reception area. Room smelled amazing upon entry. Overall was fairly clean. Unsure if there was a stain or two in the tub as we decided not to stay all night. Hair was also stuck to the soap container area of the bath tub. Quite noticeable “dirt ring” around the entirety of the bathtub. Beyond those things, okay choice for a quick stay. Jacuzzi warm and well kept. Pool did not seem to be heated as advertised. Again, staff were great :)

The entire staff was amazing! The ladies at the front desk.... phenomenal! The sweetest most down to earth people. Everything was great as always. I'll be back!
