I've never had a bad experience at this particular location until last visit. The room could've been cleaned better. Floor ended up wet due to humidity and the outcome was horrible. You can tell that it hadn't been mopped in awhile because it was filthy.

A/C was cool. TV didn't connect to internet, couldn't watch. Room was small and not laid out very well. Curtains did not close fully. Price was almost double the regular price, because it was Memorial Day weekend.

Floor was damp as if there wasn't a moisture barrier under the flooring. Room smelled musty upon entering. Mold on walls and ceiling in bathroom. Exhaust fan in bathroom doesn't work properly. Shower handle was broken and wouldn't regulate temperature causing the water to get too hot. You have to sign in to the wifi to watch the TV. WiFi buffered the entire stay. Laundry services are listed on website for the hotel and through hotels.com, yet when I asked the desk attendant about them, she chuckled and said there isn't any and never has been any. Maids were nice and they supplied everything we needed.

It was a full, so that was a little deceptive. And while my partner and I were not handicapped, we had a disabled room.... And there is absolutely no way someone could get a wheel chair or walker around the bed. It was very small. In addition, the "breakfast" was small packaged donuts, coffee, and orange juice. That's it. Not what I have experienced in other hotels.

They didn’t have breakfast only a 3 pack donut and coffee! The staff wakes you up early morning from having conversations with others. Some guy walked around the building early that morning as he looked in our window! It was a bad stay.

There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The smell was only tolerable by keeping the bathroom door closed.

Room was dirty. The place smelled like weed. I asked for some extra blankets and was told that the blankets were locked up and unavailable (either a lie or terrible service practice). The beds didn’t appear to have been cleaned- there was hair and a roach leg on mine. The property as a whole looks like a landlord special- rundown and painted over. All in all, it’s cheap and better than the street- but that’s as good as it gets.

From Check-ín to check-out it was a smooth ordeal .the Clerk was so helpful in explaining that they are getting the room reàdy.

The room was nothing like I saw in the picture there was a continental breakfast with which was not described in the advertisement they were all steel donuts only however, the ladies at the desk were very kind even the one that lived there the place was like a welfare hotel people live there for days and all you could smell was marijuana smoke outside of the building the employees the employee’s mom come by and smoke with the employee. It was not that good. Everybody was smoking weed bad for the children.

No friendliness. No power, as transformer blew. No offer of discount or offer to gift card. Donuts are not much for breakfast, continental should have some fruit. Arrived a day early, so their received more funds from my visit but charged more for that early day than the days that were booked online. Hope that I never need a room in that area again that would force me to be at that hotel.

Water was so hot that I scalded myself on the arm prior to stepping into the shower. I currently have a partial thickness burn on my forearm. "Breakfast' consisted of either chocolate, or powdered Hostess Donettes, that was it. I am from Florida, so I know that when you dispense Orange Juice, it is supposed to be orange, not brown. I booked three rooms for the team I was travelling with. One of my associates killed four roaches the first night and had one in her bathtub the second night. We will be at this same venue the next two weekends, then again two weekends in the spring. I will not be staying here. I have booked two rooms for the Days Inn by Wyndham near this location, and I am hoping for better results. If I have a similar experience, I will no longer use the Wyndham chain of hotels.

We stayed in a one bed queen room, while it was a cozy room we found it to be a bit smaller. Only big enough for 2. The bathroom in the room was average. It was clean, however the enamel was coming off the floor of the tub in the "cracking fashion" the water is good and got hot FAST. They advertise a "Breakfast area" however when we went for breakfast around 8am all that was available were some chocolate or powdered sugar donuts. Worth what we paid all in all.

Only thing I didn’t like was sofa wasn't very comfortable.

Worst ever!!! Moved to 4 different rooms. 1st had a potent smell of weed with sprinkler and smoke detector left covered. 2nd room, lock was broken and we couldn’t get in. 3rd room flooded room below us while we were showering and when I spoke to manager the following morning her response was that the girl working didn’t know anything and just moved people. So sad!!!

I went off of everyone else’s reviews and booked with Super 8. When you walk in the office smells musty and dirty. We got to the room & the AC was off and the room was extremely hot and took hours to cool down. The room felt dirty. The floor was sticky. The rooms smelled absolutely terrible. The place is run down. Our floor in the bathroom was soft and sunken in. If I could give 0 stars I would. The night shift lady I checked in with was friendly though.

This place is ok. There is not breakfast there is coffee, juice and donuts. That's all. There is a microwave but I'm not sure why.

Everything was fine except for the breakfast. To be honest, breakfast is fine at other Super 8s in other cities, but in this city it was my worst experience. They serve the cheapest orange juice, cheap donuts of very low quality, the coffee was very unpleasant, and the staff said they had tried to talk us out of improving the breakfast service, but their superiors didn't take it into account.

Night staff were fine. Room smelled musty and moldy. Sand was in the tub. Woke up went to get the free breakfast that is advertised, ouldnt find it as it’s hidden in a room. Asked the front desk clerk who was sitting in the “lobby” on his phone, and he just waved towards where it was. Went. Nothing. A juice machine that was running low and coffee. I went back and asked and he continued to sit and basically laugh at me and shrugged his shoulders. Another man came in claimed he was the manager. I asked and he pointed to the vending machines. I said that the hotel advertised a free breakfast. He said cookies which I told him there’s nothing out and he again pointed towards the vending machines. A woman came and started yelling at the housekeeper, the only one who we saw actually working. The manager and woman had just been outside. Needless to say we just left. Ashamed to admit I let my children stay here. We won’t be returning to this hotel, and if Wyndham continues to allow this, as now I see that people have been complaining about this specific hotel for a while with no changes, we won’t use this chain. Definitely a black eye on this chain. Wish I could get a refund or something. False advertisement and poorly ran.

It wasn’t clean I was not happy with this place

The room was nasty, had hair all in the bath tub, ants on the sink. We checked 6 other rooms which were the same but had roaches and ants. Avoid this place at all cost. The blue angle bestwestern up the road on detroit blvd is much cleaner for close to the same price.

Found a insect on my bed. Breakfast was old coffee and doughnuts small packages.no TV service . Not one channel was working. For the price and quality is too high. But this was a last minute thing so I guess learn to live with what you get. Won’t be going there again. One thing that made it a little better was the hostess at night she was very nice.

Free breakfast consisted of a small pack of hostess donuts, some coffee, and juice....I was a bit disappointed that this was considered breakfast. Overall the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet at night. Good to stay if you need a place to sleep for a night or two.

I found a roach in our room after the first night. The hotel was banged up and not well kept. It appeared clean until the roach incident. There was broken stuff just laying around the room. The continental breakfast was mini 3 packs of hostess donuts, they had 6 packs out for everyone and Dixie cups next to the juice to have. The elevator was scraping along the walls on the way up. They also required a $50 cash deposit which they don’t mention on the website and did not offer to refund the cash when we checked out. We almost left without it and had to remind the employee about it??? Crazy. Anyways I would not recommend when you can stay at an airbnb for the same price and better quality.

This place was so incredibly disgusting I'm ashamed that I allowed my kids to sleep here even for one single night. It's dirty, and unkept. The other patrons are loud and wild. Do not bring children in this establishment.

AC in room rusted/not working properly. HOT. Took hours to cool down. *continental breakfast the first night of my day consisted of little packs of three donuts or a stack of saltine crackers or something and the carafe of coffee. I did not try the “continental breakfast” again due to the lack of it on that first day. The room has been refurbished several times and the tile job sucks but at least it is tiled in the bathroom.There was dirt piled up in the corner or grout or something, see picture.Layers and layers of caulk from previous years at baseboard and tub/toilet area looked gross. Aged tub,the faucet in the tub was very difficult to get to an even temperature. It was either burning scolding, hot or cold.The bearing in the faucet may be old/bad.The scalding water at the sink & tub may need to be addressed for safety reasons. There were a couple of hairs that were not mine on the bed under the pillow area,please check to make sure the staff are actually removing the sheets and blankets between guests.-This is gross & if I had not been in a hurry to get somewhere, I would have made a complaint and had them change it immediately. There is no pool or outside area except the sidewalk and a bench for people to loiter on, so there was nasty food remains left in the parking spaces several times when I was out there coming and going.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The pictures on the listing are not an accurate portrayal of what it’s really like. The staff were not very friendly, the elevator was questionable (didn’t feel safe), and the ice machine had wires exposed. The room looked like they tried renovating. However, there were bugs, debris, the water pressure on the sink was very low, the handle for the shower fell off, and the shower head sprayed everywhere (even onto the ceiling).

At booking was promised a large continental breakfast showing eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. I was excited about this as we were there for a basketball tournament, and my daughter would need those items to play. Breakfast actually consisted of three prepackaged powdered sugar doughnuts and a mouth wash cup of orange juice. I ended up have to spend an extra $100 during our stay to provide breakfast for my family. As to the room the bathroom knob was loose and hanging down. the gap under the door leading to the hall was so wide you could hear everything going on in the hall. the AC unit was loud and would wake me up every time it clicked on, and there was no pool even though one was advertised.

Not clean, staff and smells like smoke

Usually don’t like to do these kind of reviews but I just had to. Also, I’ve payed even less at other motels/hotels and they have been super clean. Not at all this one, the minute you step in to check in you can smell that nasty smell of people smoking. The check in lady was okay checking us in. But when we go into our room it was just so bad! The smell! Did NOT smell at all clean. At that point we had to leave. It would’ve been useless to get another room. Every corner just smelled like cigarette/smokemusty! I wish I would’ve trusted the reviews saying it was horrible. Oh and whoever checked us out just wasn’t at all professional.

The desk personnel were all friendly and helpful. I was not prepared for the CASH only deposit of $50. The expedia listing said $100 but nothing about cash only. It was only a slight inconvenience but we were exhausted when we checked in. Other than that, all was well.

The room was ok for what we needed as this was an overnight business trip. However- I had to go get a remote for the TV as there wasn’t one in the room. No iron, phone did not work to call to the front desk. The knob to turn on the shower was broken so we had to spend 10 min trying to figure out how to use it so we could leave and that set us back 30 min.

This used to be our half way point and place to stay when driving from Texas to Florida . They must have fell under new management because this place was disgusting. Floors were sticky the room smelt of smoke there was residue on the walls and light fixtures EVEN A FEW ROACHES. Never again there are much nicer hotels in the area. 2/10 rating.

Tanya at this hotel is absolutely amazing and is very sweet! Every time I see her she's extremely busy and I think she is what makes this hotel run all the way around!! This hotel is very clean and quiet. Safe location and in walking distance of stores fast food and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place!!

Only problem here was the the piece in the back of the toilet that flushes it was broken upon arrival but overall the rooms are clean and staff is amazing here! It's quite and stores fast food and restaurants are all within walking distance which makes the location very convenient

I was beaten by bed bugs on 8/21/24. My right forearm was very itchy and woke me up in the middle of the night. I found my arm was swollen, red, and very itchy. I had 5 bites on the right arm. I checked the mattress, but I couldn't find bugs. But, I am sure they are bed bugs due to the pattern and symptoms. FYI, I am a nurse. I went to the front desk immediately, reported it, and requested a room change. The night shift staff was nice and prompt to change to another room. Fortunately, the second room was fine. The hotel gave me a refund for the stay. However, I had suffered from severe itchiness and discomfort on the sites for a week.

While Megan at the front desk was amazing, this facility was awful. We went through three rooms before finding a room that was actually clean. There were many people lurking outside smoking, which made us feel uncomfortable and it smelled of cigarettes in common areas. There is no breakfast, although advertised. Stairways are filthy. Do not bring children here. $50 cash deposit is required, but nothing has been kept clean.

I killed two roaches in my room, please spray or get an exterminator in to get rid of them. I know they like warm moist areas like refrigerator coils etc.

The carpets in the hallway were extremely dirty. The towels were dirty. The floors in the room were not cleaned, I found licorice between the bed and the bedside table. There room lighting did not work, the toilet ran, the refrigerator was rusted and there was no safe. Vagrants who were seen rummaging through garbage were also seen seated in the lobby. Staff did not wear uniforms nor carried IDs/name tags. “Breakfast” was coffee and pre-packaged mini donuts. I would NOT recommend this place.

This place double charged my card for my week stay. I still havent gotten my refund and it has been over a week. Then I left early in the morning, the lady who checked me out did not giving me my deposit back. (Apparently its my job to remember that.) I live in Texas and they are refusing to refund the money to my card, and refusing to let my family member who lives in florida come pick it up. So I feel scammed. I will never stay her again!!!! Almost $800 they wont give back to me! This owner also owns the Days Inn around the corner!

So this is a doozy. We got there for check in. Ms. Tanya at the front desk was completely ignoring us when we walked up. I read the sign about the cash deposit(which was okay with me). She immediately says yes it is a cash deposit. Nothing else was said to us. I left got cash and came back. Next morning, someone was peering into our room via the window(the curtains don’t close all the way) and someone banging on our wall at 7am. We go to tell Ms. Tanya. We greet her and she again is ignoring us because she is watching a video on her phone. So we said it again louder and she scrambled. We tell her what happened. She starts saying we chose that room and basically saying we were incorrect that they are getting ready for church. We ask to change rooms. She agrees and then says she will come to get us when it is ready. We wait over an hour nothing. We get ready to go out and tell her she says okay let her know when we get back. We could not find her when we got back. I did not like the experience with her at all. Also the “Breakfast” was Hostess powder or chocolate covered donuts. And the rooms were clean but the beds were definitely not queen as I reserved and they were so uncomfortable. Also the shower water would get so hot that it could cook noodles at Random times while taking a shower. Definitely not worth going.

Couldnt use our phone unless you were by the window and the breakfast was only a little pack of donuts. The Internet wouldn't work the whole time we was there. The bathroom shower knob was broke and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the toilet was really loose.

The front desk clerk was wonderful, unfortunately that was the only great thing about this hotel. The hotel had a smell, our room had roaches and smelled like marijuana. It was a late check in and we were so tired, we couldn’t drive anymore or we would have left immediately, we slept for four hours and didn’t have great sleep. It definitely was overly priced for the crappy stay. I do not recommend, this place is unsanitary and should not be allowed to continue to operate.

Room smelled like mildew. The tub had a ring of yuck in the bottom of it. Also, the tub didn’t drain while showering. No WiFi half of the stay. No toilet paper on arrival. Walmart mini donuts for breakfast and even though the photos depict a breakfast bar, they haven’t had one in 3 years according to one of the people working there. The room in the hotels.com photo must be a room no one ever stays in because our room had random off-white paint brush strokes everywhere. Door lock was cracked and partially busted on the inside. The side of the sink cabinet was peeling off. The flooring in the bathroom was bubbled up by the bathtub. The baseboards were peeling off the wall. You could get high just from the first floor hallway. Also the door lock and floor below it was covered in sand on arrival. Not a safe place to stay in my opinion. Even the poor lady at the front desk seemed nervous.

They ask for a cash deposit on arrival. Our room had no smoke detectors, we found a cockroach the first morning, the shower was cracked and dirty and the plumbing was backwards so figuring out hot/cold was obnoxious. The free breakfast was brown colored water with very stale hostess donuts. And just a few of those.

Me and my family loved our stay.. i would just suggest maybe deep cleaning the pillows in the window they looked very used.

Very clean room, nice hot showers.
