I love the clean smell the staff are very polite close to everything in the city

I’ve stayed here many times in the past but this stay was absolutely horrific, the lady at the check in desk was incredibly rude and had a horrible attitude, the tv in the room didn’t work at all, the room was disgusting the fridge was dirty and the the bathroom was filthy. I went out to buy my own cleaning supplies because the lady at the front desk made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Nice property a good distance from the main thoroughfare allowing for a quiet comfortable stay. Two stories with elevator, pool and exercise room. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with plenty of seating and table surfaces and with subtle lighting. Our window was fitted with plantation blinds and overlooked the pool. The bed was very comfortable.

Carpets were very dirty. The whole floor was dirty, didn't seem like they vacuumed at all. The sheets were clean, but that was about it. Every surface seemed like it needed to be wiped down. And it wasn't, we got the hot tub suite and the jets worked fine. The paint was chipping on the bottom of the tub, but it wasn't really an issue. I had to wear socks everywhere.Because it was gross, our feet were getting nasty.Just walking around the room

We needed a room super last minute and Pensacola Hotel had exactly what we needed. The counter clerk Destiny's was super polite, professional, and extremely helpful. We are very grateful for the accommodation. The room was perfect for what we needed at a great price.

Room wasn't clean at all upon arrival we saw trash on the floor candy wrapper's under the bed a dirty sock in the closet and stains on the sheets I went asked for another room they was full but I talk to the shift manager the next day she told me she would have them go clean the room well when we arrived back to the room it seemed clean but still trash and candy paper and sock in the same spot the next day our room was skipped from being clean overall everyone was nice but they need to do walk through in those rooms before renting them out I was told they were going to accommodate me but that didn't happen either.

It's not in an area that's like right off an interstate, but that was good for us. Nice and peaceful. Highly recommend! Nothing negative, maybe a little touch up paint in some areas would be okay.

Drove 4 hours for the extremely rude desk clerk to tell me she canceled my reservation that was booked as "pay at property" for a specific reason. I was in town to attend a funeral. Its memorial weekend and everything was booked. Went to show her that it was still booked and she replied " I dont care, its canceled. No phone call, plenty attempts to run my debit card. She was very unprofessional. She got the same treatment she gave me. Not happy!

The motel was probably built in the early '80s. It had been remodeled not long ago. The Whirlpool air Jets on the top are broken off. The pump still work but we did not. Dare try to get in it. The toilet paper roller holder was broken off, there was a crack in the tub and shower in the main bathroom. All of the stoppers in the jacuzzi and the tub were broken off. There was a table in there that they had broken the legs off of one end and just had it up on top of a counter to hold the table top up. Other than all of that, the bed was as comfortable as a five-star. We slept great little questionable about the area at night which we didn't get out and much. Would not stay there for the amount we paid ever again.

We had driven 15 hours that day and were so tired. The staff made the check-in quick and easy have very clean room in the morning. We had good coffee and breakfast snacks. Thanks

This was just an over night stay and not too far from the airport. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and it was great for the peice!

The sign when you drive up says "affordable" and they are not wrong! This place was an EXCELLENT stop for a mother/daughter trip. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable and we felt very safe staying here. There is only "grab and go" breakfast which was fine for us.

The staff could not have made me feel more welcome. The room was very large compared to other hotel rooms. It was quiet and very comfortable so I was able to sleep peacefully. It was perfectly located so I was able to get off the road to rest and back on my way without any of the noise you usually get staying so close to the interstate. I will always have this as my go to for travel going forward!

maybe leave some trash bags, nobody has them, but a rug for when you get out of the shower would be nice, but it was great, it's probably the first hotel I've ever slept in and not wake up with any type of back pain, actually meant to try to take a picture of the tag. Mr Eldrick that's the one who checked me in and he was amazing. I gave him a 10 out of 10 thank y'all very much.

It was just mid. The elevator was broke, the hot water was just warm, and the tv remote batteries were dead. It looks nicer online.

The room was clean and sleep quality was great. Some attention needs to be placed on repairs and maintenance. I would recommend better options at the breakfast counter. Overall a good room for a budget stay or vacation.

When I got to my room, the interior lock/bar was in place, so I could only open the door a few inches. Instead of giving me a different room, the lady at the desk had the maintenance man come over and break into the room. The maintenance man was about to leave with the piece that he had just broken, handing loose on the door. I asked him to tighten it, and he did. I would not stay here again. Aside from the obvious issues, the area did not feel safe to me. I feel like there are better places to stay in Pensacola.

This was our second visit to this hotel. Both times we were impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities and the kindness of staff. We highly recommend this property!

Bed was not comfortable.. room had a smell.. mini fridge leaked in the night and got water all over the floor. Elevator was not working.. this was the 3rd time we have stayed at Hotel Pensacola. But this was the First time I was not satisfied.

Ugh I wish I could give this hotel a perfect score, but our room smelled like dog. Other than the smell, the room was perfect and the staff was amazing. I informed the staff of the smell because I didn’t want them to think we brought a pet. I didn’t want to move rooms because we were already settled, so they couldn’t do much anyway. I would still stay here again, but I would ask to make sure I got a pet free room.

The stuff are incredible. The hotel itself is very old. There’s a smell as soon as you walk inside and then the bedroom it very smelly as if it’s mold anyways for the price I guess is OK I will not return personally breakfast was very disappointing. All they had for breakfast with snacks such as honey buns and some cupcakes. I think I won’t even call that breakfast. The pool is very small for the price I guess it’s OK but like I said, I will not return.

I have stayed here 5 times since December due to family emergency. Stacy one of the ladies at the front desk is absolutely one of a kind and all the other ladies and even the gentleman through out the night are extremely nice. The rooms and bed linens/bath towels are clean. Most of all I felt safe in an unknown place. When I go to Pensacola this is the only place I will stay.

We were given the wrong room when we checked in. We reserved a deluxe double but were given a queen. The front desk staff worked until they rectified the situation. Good for what we needed on this trip.

we were upgraded to a jacuzzi room because the first room had people staying in it when we entered. i would not step foot into the jacuzzi in the 2nd room. caulking was disgusting. The dust in the room was awful, the bathtub was bad...they placed a sticky mat into tub to cover whatever. Only 2 towels and that didnt dry overnight to use in the am again. Floor felt dirty so wore sandals. The chair in room obviously had cat dander as husband is highly allergic and the instant he sat down, eyes watered, sneezing. Need to vacuum or clean that chair in room 106. also the drywr in the laundry is disgusting. so much dirt in the lint trap. I cleaned the built up lint but really dirty. Im sorry, this hotel does not deserve 5 star like all the other reviews. not in a good part of town either...located amongst Auto dealership. breakfast was a joke. some wrapped pastries and muffins and bottles of water.

Staff was excellent throughout. They were friendly and helpful when my flights were cancelled and I needed to stay longer. The room was clean, just a bit musty from being closed all the time. I travelled alone but felt safe every night.

Booked a room last week for a check in that day but mistakenly hit the wrong day. Spoke with Ms. Deborah explained the issue within 4mins of booking and she helped me and told me what to do to fix. I thought it was fixed but someone reversed what she did and I was double charged. No one has replied to my calls on the overbooking. Still trying to get this fixed.

The hotel is a great value because you get a clean room and pleasant staff for a very good price. A simple coffee and pastry is provided for a snack type breakfast and the hotel is convenient to other restaurants and services. Highly recommend for a quick overnight or business trips.

Clean and quiet with great rates. My only complaint has been in both rooms that I have stated in so far the wall sockets are so worn out that anything that is plugged in won't stay plugged in. Other than that I will return when needed.

My room smelled a little wet and musty. My closet had a damp rip packet pretty full of water. It seemed to smell ok in the lobby. Overall, my stay was great. The room was spaciousness. There was bottled water available. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will probably give them another try next time I am in town.

Last minute booking after delayed flight. Good location. Room was clean which is a priority at any $$ and convenient on 1st floor. Hair dryer broken but staff replaced promptly. Room amenities nice - only a bottle of water would make it ideal.

No hangers in closet; front desk told me they don't provide those. Funny smell in the building and the room. That said, I guess you get what you pay for...

I wanted to go out for dinner and asked for a recommendation from the young lady who checked me in. As I was on my way to the restaurant, she called with what she felt was a better recommendation. She didn’t have to. This thoughtfulness and caring about her guest is what is often missing with customer service. She is a 5 star in my book!

Nice hotel for the price. Clean. Some of the furnishings in the room are in need of replacement. I got the deluxe room and found it to have a lot of extras. I wouldn't want to stay here for a week but for a night or two it's fine.

The floors were covered in something sticky in both rooms. The halls all smelled strongly of weed. The beds were hard and I could hear and feel the springs if I turned over. Said there was breakfast but it was only coffee, tea, hot chocolate and pre-packaged pastries. Glad we didn't pay very much for it.

The room was very very clean. The only real negative was the bathroom. Although it was very clean, the bath tub needs a mat or stips or surface that is not slick. Whatever was used for cleaning the bath tub and bathroom floor, it made the surfaces very slick.

Love this hotel. Our room 208 could stand a thorough cleaning in the odd often missed placed like the bathroom upper ledge above the vanity and around the door knobs and switches. Am sure they are not normally cleaned but I think its time. But we really love this hotel. Very clean overall, no worries there. Will definitely return.

This hotel will leave you on the streets if you have any type of mental help problem not talking about drugs either god forbid you get baker acted or ever did you will be kicked off property and no refund they are not understanding and just will take the money that already was paid but never stayed

On the 4th my dog woke me up very early that morning around 4am. I took him out for a walk then decided since I was up to do a load of laundry. Not realizing there were certain hours for that since it wasnt posted anywhere in or on the outside of the wash room. I shut the door behind me to keep down on any noise as not to disturb any of the guests. As I went up the steps I hear the dryer stop. So I went back downstairs and the dryer was open as if someone had stopped it intentionally. No one was around. I went back up the stairs and once again the dryer stopped. I was thinking what is going on! So I went back downstairs and a gentleman approachs me in a very aggressive tone and energy. He was visibly angry and clearly the one that kept stopping the dryer. He says you are disturbing the guests dont turn that dryer back on! I was confused at first because I didnt know who he was, I thought he was a guest bec

The gym situation wasn’t ideal. You have to have a staff member unlock it, then there are very few machines and NO AC! It got the job done though. Think of it as a free Hotworx class. Also heads up, breakfast is definitely grab & go.

Very friendly service. One of the best stays I’ve had for the price I paid

This was my 2nd time staying at the Hotel Pensacola and I will definitely be back. I feel the prices are extremely reasonable and the rooms are comfortable and clean. It's located near basically everything. 30 min drive to Pensacola beach. My only complaint is the water pressure was terrible (older shower head I think) and a huge party of like 8 kids were hogging the pool (that's not the staff's fault obviously) but that won't deter me from booking there again.

They were friendly and the room was clean and in good repair.

We had a good stay at Hotel Pensacola. The building is on the older side but very clean. The staff was cordial and very helpful. Breakfast is grab-and-go with wrapped pastries and bars. They have free water bottles in the lobby which came in handy. Vending machines are also on both floors for convenience. There are plenty of food options within 10 minutes. It's about a 20 minute drive from the hotel to Gulf Breeze. We were satisfied and will be regulars from now on.

This was just part of an overnight stay on the way back from an extended trip. We read the reviews and thought they sounded good, but found the opposite when we arrived at the hotel. Front desk was completely fine, but room looked extremely outdated and run down, and the bathroom wasn't clean and made me uncomfortable to use it. Also couldn't sleep well due to all of the noise in the area. I could hear all of the outside noises, as well as people having conversations in the hallway and kids running up and down the hallway. Wouldn't recommend.

No maid service

We literally just checked in because my kids wanted to swim. I didn't even stay the night. We were there for about 3 hours. They need to up date the day pass. I can pay $10 for one person but the two kids would not have been included so I had to book a whole room

The staff was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful and inviting. The hotel does show its age, but is obviously cared for, clean and well maintained.

So glad we stayed here! I was almost concerned with how affordable and cheap it was, but the reviews said it was great, and I'm glad I chose this! We just needed a quick place to stay for the night, and this was just that.

The air conditioner struggled to keep the humidity down in the room, and I brought it to the attention of the staff. They said they’d look into it. We use the pool and enjoyed hanging out just being able to cool ourselves off in the summer heat. The pool side furniture is getting oxidized due to the sun and some chairs may need to be replaced in the near future

I had a 4 night stay reserved.The room smelled fine at first, but 2nd morning, the roombegan to smell so bad. We agreed to swtich rooms, and although it was cleaned, it was clear that room would begin to smell too. The manager told me all the rooms smell and the floors are gross because they hold the moisture. So I left 2 days early hoping I get a refund for those 2 days. The whole AC system needs to be cleaned or something because it seems thats where the smell is coming from. It smelled so bad that I wouldn't stay here if it was free.

Second time staying in here. Just one night and the shower was cold no hot water available and the towels have female head hair. Carpet was really dirty and tv was not working. Unfortunately not the best experience even though in the past was great.

Hotel was definitely older but it seemed that they are trying to keep it working condition. The beds were not comfy and a little bit hard but not terrible. The worst thing was I turned over one of my pillows before going to sleep the first night and I found a tick on the underside of it! I’m assuming because they allow dogs at the hotel, someone’s dog brought in a tick. Not the most confidence boosting for my continued stay. I checked the entire bed, sheets, pillows and did not locate anymore but one was enough. Decent location as you are close to a lot of different areas in the city. Movie theater right behind the hotel was nice. Was a little loud if someone was talking outside your room as they were walking by, but overall it seemed pretty quiet. I’d rate this place a 5-6.

Overall if you’re looking for a place to stay this would be it! Multiple places to grab a bite and about 20 mins from the beach.

This hotel had a gym with nice equipment! Nice to hit a quick workout! The pool was very nice as well! The room was honestly very spacious and was very good!

We lost our remote to the tv and the front desk lady was so sweet she walked the spare remote to the room for us.

They had little snakes for in the morning and vending machines which I didn't mind and the bed was very comfortable I sleep like a baby

When you first enter the property you are greeted by a nice clean fragrance in the atmosphere. My room was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and small

Really nice and affordable property. The front desk staff was extremely nice, we arrived at 2:00 am on Saturday and the lady was so welcoming.

Pretty much par for the price point. Beds are quite hard and the a/c unit is predictably noisy (no central a/c). Spartan furnishings, but things are mostly clean except behind the bedside table, an area which hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner in some time. Can you sleep here? Yes, no bedbugs, but would you want to stay for several days? Um, no thanks.

This place was great, and you can't beat the price. I come down to Pensacola a lot to visit with friends, and I will definitely be staying here again. It's affordable, clean, and the staff was really nice.

I actually booked a different hotel originally and upon seeing how gross the first place was, I booked Hotel Pensacola in hopes things would be a lot cleaner! Well my boyfriend and I were not disappointed, the room was clean, comfortable, and overall perfect for the two of us while traveling. We will be staying here again!

It was a delight to find this newly renovated, very clean hotel for my stay in Pensacola. The rate was reasonable, especially considering the low quality of many other Pensacola hotels in this price range. Well done, Hotel Pensacola!

I liked that the hotel was very quiet and clean. It is well kept. The staff was quick to provide anything I needed. I would stay here again if I needed to. It is worth the price.

I love this place, the pool area, and everything surrounding it. The staff is very friendly and professional. There's nothing better than being treated with care and respect like a special guest. The rooms have everything you need for your stay and, most importantly, are very clean, the beds are spotless, and the room smells good. I loved the room decor, the details, the TV with apps (Netflix, Disney, etc.), and the laundry facilities and gym 🏋️‍♂️. Everything I'm looking for to have an amazing stay, feel at peace, and add value to my vacation.⛱️.

Nice stay

The beds were firm, the drain in the tub was slow due to items in it. The tub had some rust stains under the spout. Dust was accumulated by the bathroom light. Ac was making a noise. The e ntrance door to the room had to be pulled or pushed pretty hard to close. Had coffee grounds no pot. Sink handles and spount had looked to be toothpaste or soap residue. Shower head wasn't that clean. Cleaning smell was pretty strong the 2 nights we stayed, and it was only cleaned before we arrived.

It was small and quiet and easy, and the staff was the best part. Perfect for the price.

I had employees working in the area and when they returned to complete the work they requested to stay in this same hotel again. They say it is very nice!
