Shower curtain absolutely filthy. Curtains filthy, walls dirty. First rm, there was a live roach n the bed. I went 2 ofc 2 complain & ask 4 a refund. They offered another rm. The TV didn't wk @ first. Staff wkd atleast 30 min 2 get it wk n. Rm smelled, everything was absolutely horrible. I took pix 2 substantiate my case. I wud love 2 share them. When pulling up to this property, all seems well. We checked in and pulled around to where our room was only to find all sorts of people just hanging around, not sure what they all were doing but it looked as if they were up to no good. I did not feel safe at all, as they seem to just allow all sorts of nefarious activity. Looked very sketchy! The room are in total disrepair, and the hallways have a god-awful smell. As we about to just walk away from this place, we were met by the owner, and he moved to a more suitable room which was not much better, but I at least felt a little safer. No towels in the room, only one roll of toilet paper, no remote to the TV, no trash cans in the room, I could go on. I do have to say the front desk staff was amazing at helping us out and were very kind and understanding, this is the only reason I am giving a 2 star. This place has potential but is very neglected.

Expedia sold me a smoking room. They were none available, they were already occupied. First room the lock was broken. Second room has roaches and after seeing 3 out in day light, drapes were open, I went to the front desk to check out. Roaches, unacceptable. I don’t know if Expedia is going to refund the reservation. Front desk said it was one of their best rooms. Offered to move me to another building but I refused. Left property and and drove home.

The room smelt like cat pee, no towels pillows or toilet paper. Once they gave me towels they were the floor towels with stains. The first morning there and management busted in with there key asking me why I was there and told me to leave. I told them I paid for 3 nights. He then expected me to walk in the rain to go to front desk to fix the problem but I went other way. They had someone waiting for me at that door also. So after being woke up and embarrassed They realize they messed up and didn’t put me in the correct room. Well to top it off I sat in the chair in the room and within 5 min my arm was covered in bits. That’s right bed bugs. I went to the front desk and they gave me another room and upon entering that room, I was welcomed by roaches. There was trash in the drawers and on the side of the furniture, and the chair was blocking the second entrance. I went to front desk to tell her what I found, and she called me a liar. She said she was just in that room. I told her she needed to double check and that’s when she informed me that they have a problem with people breaking into the rooms. I completely checked out and went to a different hotel. I asked for a refund and they said NO! I had to go to laundromat and spend a lot of money to wash everything on top of paying for a second hotel.

My wife was flying into Pensacola late that night. tWe love about 3 hours away from Pensacola, we were looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night so we could rest and drive the nrg morning. I booked the hotel because the pictures on the website looked great. I think those pictures were taken 20 years ago when the hotel first open. There were big roaches in the bathroom and the ligh fixtures did not work. No towels. Well we made it work. We spent the night and drove away early the next morning.

The rate is pretty right for the room.. and you get what you pay for.. personally I wouldn't sleep in the sheets... And I didn't I brought my own blanket .. I'd say the best thing about this place is the staff .. the lady at the front desk was real.. and cool.. he k she even open a couple rooms and let us check them out..so we got the best of the two . And I've never had that option .. anyhow id recommend locking your car and I didn't have a pet with me but I do know from experience it's hard to find a place to stay that do.. and I read that they do.. hope this helps

The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever been to, with the worst owner. The guests and owner there are filled with many Demon spirits. Don’t ever go here, it’s an extremely dangerous place, with an evil owner.

It was horrible the owner was belligerent humiliated me and told me never to use a third party service because he loses money he said $40 he loses and the rooms nothing works properly it was horrible

The man behind the desk answered the phone yelling at someone for calling him, there was no lights on outside the property, the room key he gave us did not work and we looked tru the window that looked like it had not been cleaned on a long time and the bandthebed was full

Rooms were dirty. Room were nevered cleaned. Staff rude when asking for help usually never in desk. Roches and bedbugs. Homeless people in the lobby sofas all drunk and high sleeping or fighting with each other.

Not the greatest but have stayed twice and never had any issues. I like the location and it does same night 📖 NGS unlike other motels/ hotels in its area.

I have one reservation and end up staying at three different rooms in one night first room no shower no TV no lights the second room no TV and no locks on the doors third room no TV no refrigerator..... But for some reason I still liked it though I'll go back but I wouldn't recommend anybody else going

This hotel should be shut down and removed from Expedia. It is not worth any stay. The hotel is very neglected and old. It should be shut down by the authorities. There is rubbish all over and the rooms are dirty and most parts damaged or worn out. The linen are tirn and soiled, but the staff claims its clean and good. The hotel is simply not even one star worth. Dont go dont go! Marihuana is freely smoked around and the whole hotel is drenched in that smoke!

This hotel was very trashy. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. We waited for over an hour and while we were waiting we looked and found a can that had been used to smoke weed in sitting on the lobby table.

I didn’t like the room had no refrigerator and the room smelled and the curtain over the window was torn up.

Place felt very unsafe as well. Pictures are very misleading and Expedia is doing nothing to help customers. I opened a case and all they said was that they contacted the property and they didn't want to return the money. Of course they won't... It's a shame that Expedia allows this kind of behavior.

The place was not so great but the staff were more than nice….we got what we paid for but they need to at least update some items in there rooms and hotel such as the comforters, the REFRIGERATOR, ours didnt work at all, it was nice of them to let us use there’s, but we’re on vacation we’re not going to keep going out our room to go up front each time especially since our room was literally in the very bad. Their maintenance guy or who ever locks the lobby up at a certain time was not it…we were using the microwave in the lobby since the room didn’t have one, which says in the details the room has a microwave but did not. We were just warming up our food, he came by talking but we didn’t understand him, he was walking and talking at the same time, and said rudely that’s hes locking up the lobby which i did not know they lock up the lobby literally….not a prisoner but okayy some hotels rules are different. Hella bugs which i understand for Florida, but you can also fumigate the rooms. Im not going to pick out everything that could easily be fixed or can be avoid for future renters. I should had took pictures but it was a 2 night stay i recommend only 1 night stays if you can’t find nothing else.

Unfortunately it was a very bad experience. The picture in Expedia were very deceiving, not as expected like it showed in the pictures. Yes it was less expensive but at last it could be more clean and a lots of maintenance issues fixed.

Hotel was dirty!! We had no bulbs in the lamps. Towels look like they were never washed still has makeup on them. Bed sheets has stuff on them also. I would not recommend this hotel. You will see a lot of things if you just sit outside.

I liked the hotel pics on your website, but they were obviously from 20 years ago. Looks of the pics are very decieving. I made the mistake by not checking the reviews. I was between a rock and hard place because my original reservations at another local hotel had been canceled without me knowing. It being Memorial Day weekend there wasn't anything left so I had no choice but to choose the Hotel Del Sol or turn around and drive my family back home which is what I should've done rather than stay at this unpleasant, unsanitary and very unsafe place. This won't ever happen again. I regret that I didn't take any pics, but I really didn't want anyone to know that I even stayed in a place such as this. I did not like anything about it. As soon as we walked in the main office to check in the musty scent hits you in the face. The smell of stale cigarettes and uncleanliness. I wish we would have turned around and walked out if i would have known it was that bad and just got worse. The staff looked as if they lived on premises and just climbed out of their bed and really didn't want to be bothered. When they brought us to our room the woman quickly opened the door and shut it behind us. It was very dusty and smelled like body odor. We pulled out the sofa bed and there were rat/mice feces in the folds of the mattress. We didn't use it at all not even to sit on. The beds had dirt and crumbs on the surface. There were little bugs here and there something like termites or ants inside the unit. We left and went to purchase bed bug spray to spray the beds down. I also purchased new sheets and pillows because the ones on the bed were so stained up I couldn't tell if they had ever been changed from the last occupants. The lighting was dark because most of the bulbs were blown. The TV in the king bedroom did not work. It had no remote to operate it. The bathroom was also very dusty and needed to be cleaned. There was profanity written on the toilet paper roll holder stating the words F#@K YOU ALL. My 2 boys walked around outside to check out the pool and walked right by a room where the tenants had left their door wide open with their 2 kids sitting outside the door on a bench while they were inside having sex in the doorway where everyone could see it. Drug deals were made or so that's what it looked like as we were walking back to our car. The whole hotel looked as if it had no remodeling work done in many many years. There were places on the wall where they had attempted to cover holes with mismatch paint. , dirty floors, counters, cabinets etc. I wouldn't even house a homeless person there.

No towels were clean and the entire building should be condemned gutted or torn down! It’s completely unacceptable in every way.

To Expedia: This place is really not safe for your customers. I think your company needs to remove this place from the look listings. I left immediately and drove somewhere and slept on my car instead of staying there since everything was booked for Memorial Day weekend. That’s how bad the place was. Not worth going into details, honestly, I can’t describe the filth, and the crime atmosphere.

When we got to the property they informed us that they would have to switch us rooms because the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave. Okay, no big deal. Upon entering the room, there were no pillowcases on our pillows, and dirty rags hanging in the bathroom. My husband went to front desk to ask for washcloths and pillowcases since there weren’t any in our room, and he sat at the front desk for over 15 minutes and still, nobody came. At 12:32am my one year old was rudely awoken by the people they put next door to us. Why? You might ask.. I guess he decided he wanted to have a party and have music blaring the entire time to where it was literally shaking the walls. My husband once again went down to the front desk where the front desk guy was very apologetic and “tried” to solve the problem, you guessed it, we were still up for hours hearing loud music. Overall, just actually spend money elsewhere. I do not recommend this place.

When I got there, I had to wait like 15 minutes just for the front desk to get off the phone! One room didn’t even have pillows! Another had hair all over the sheets! Everything was filthy! The door locks were acting weird! And there were giant cracks in the doors and windows! There were strange people wandering around the property! After seeing this nightmare, I noped out immediately and went to a different motel.

This hotel has to be closed down. It is the dirtiest, smelliiest place I have ener seen in my entire life! We did not even get towels, the toilet was not draining and leakimg, one of the beds ha dirty sheet. Unspeakabke! We seriously feated for iur safety. Stay away!

My room did not have any towels. Nor did it have a box of tissues. Barely enough soap and shampoo for one person (thankfully I thought to get decent brand name soap and shampoo). When I asked the front desk lady for towels I got the most disgusting towels in the world; they could have gone into the wash with bleach to remove the stains on them. I asked for more, the lady said that was not a problem, but I never got them. I couldn't ask again because I was on a very tight schedule and I needed sleep. The room in the building I was in definitely showed its age. Thankfully, for someone like me who needs convenient outlets, I had that. That's about the only good thing it had going for it. Did I mention I never got a full set of clean towels? On the day I left, the entire building was locked. Probably a security thing but I had no way of getting out of the building. Couldn't re-access my room via my room key since that had been deactivated. Mind you I had to be out of there at 4 am on a Sunday morning to catch an early morning flight out of Pensacola International Airport. Had to call the hotel (took many rings for someone to answer) to unlock the door to the common area for me to be able to get out. Had that not happened I probably would have called 911 to get out. I should have booked a place elsewhere and spent more money for a chain that looks after its customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Fleeing due to a mandatory evacuation.we Booked online and when we arrived we were told they only had 1 room left even though there were at least 10 families in the waiting room that were pleading for a refund due to bed bugs,rat,roaches, the condition of the rooms and active drug and prostitution deals going on in the parking lot. They led us to a room in the back of the building that took them 45 mins to gain access and told us "just don't close the door" We never did get to check into the room and was told we would get a refund.we were lucky enough to find a room at another hotel

This place looks nothing like the pictures online. It had to be the most run down place I’ve ever stayed. There was no microwave or mini fridge as shown in the pictures, the rooms were old and dirty, no vacuuming had been done it looked like all month but definitely not before we checked in. There were cigarette burn holes all over the blanket. You could hear the rooms next door opening and closing their doors all night and every time they did it sounded like someone was trying to break into our room and the wall and door would actually shake. If I was not evacuating from a hurricane with 3 cats and a dog I never would have stayed there and I will NEVER stay there again. Nowhere near worth what they’re charging!

We were glad to find a place to get away from Hurricane Helene. The bed was good and the TV was state of the art. However - there was no phone, no clock, no coffee maker, and I had to go to the lobby for towels. The exterior door was missing a door knob and had the hole in its place, so anyone could look or reach in. There were exposed wires coming out of the walls. Most of the furniture was damaged and the walls and doors had chunks missing. There were bugs in the toilet. The owner refused to issue a refund.

My check-in was okay. They didn’t have a cart, so the clerk helped me carry my luggage in. When I asked for a bathmat and some pillows, she got them for me. She was very friendly and extremely helpful.

The hotel smelled like mold and mildew. There was water damage in the room, no towels in the room, when we asked about towels they caught an attitude with us and couldn't provide 4 towels for the 4 people staying in the room.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Multiple guests in lobby requesting refund or new room. From blood on the bed to deadbolts don't work. When i got to my room with my son there were 2 men squatting in our room that ran out the back door. Still no refund we did not stay it was unsafe.

The hotel is GROSS!!

By far the nastiest and dirtiest, so called motel I’ve ever been in. It deserves 0 stars. It’s better to sleep in your car than in that filth. Management is a disgrace only there to steal your money, they refused to reimburse me. They think everyone’s a thief like them. Hotel and room was filled with marijuana smoke. They had no towels, no soap, no tv remote, 1 pillow and dirty smelly sheets. I’m sure the prostitutes outside the motel wouldn’t stay the night there. Mind you this was the “cleanest” room available. I asked for a clean non-smoking room for my family and they couldn’t deliver. I couldn’t let my family stay here, we left and found a better place to stay. Stay away!!!

We went to Gulf Shores for the holiday, and instead of booking a room like we usually do before we go we winged it. Well we went to Hotels.com once we got to Foley and all the Motels were booked solid from the beach to Daphne or Pensacola. Even the rooms on Hotel. Com were scarce so we found one that had availability and the pictures of the property looked decent! We’ll never judge a book by its cover right! Wrong judge that book, I learned a valuable lesson. Judge it!!! We checked in and the lobby seemed decent enough. We got to our room and OH MY GOD I felt like I was in a real life horror movie Make over of the Bates Motel. When we got to our door, the whole frame was missing just about around the door. Joel and I both said “OH MY” at the same time. I looked at him and said the very words, Don’t judge a book by its cover. Well from here it begins! The door was the best part of it, truly! When I tell you that death was oozing from this room there is no lie, there is a outline on the bed of a human form, that looked like a unwashed body lay in one spot for months! There was holes busted in the floor, to where you could not walk a single step without almost falling. I told Joel do not set our bags down bc something may crawl in. As I’m walking to the door that leads out side that also has no locks or frame to it either. You could quite literally look from one door to the other and see guest in the hallway with

Would never stay here again. It felt so unsafe. Someone kept knocking at our door trying to get in in the middle of the night. We told the front desk and they said it was normal. I literally slept with one eye open. Not to mention the physical condition of the place.

You get what you pay for the people the staff was very nice nobody bothers you the gas store is right up the street you can walking distance if you're bougie this is not the spot for you is more of the hood but overall the stay was okay if you just need it somewhere quick and cheap.

Place was unsanitary and the staff was unresponsive

No towels in the room, slippery shower floor, had to request TV remote.

Room did not have everything promised. There was no towels, only two pillows for four people. Staff was not helpful, room was not cleaned and when we returned to the room there was water all over the floor and on counter top. Staff was unable to do anything about it. We had to leave our vacation early.

This hotel is lying to customers through Expedia!!!! Please be aware, I arrived to find 2 stained beds, bed bugs, cockroaches, and the ceiling falling apart, with a horrible horrible smell inside the room. The pictures lied on Expedia booking!!!!! Then to make matters worse I checked out immediately did not stay there and let Michelle know I wanted a refund, called Expedia and got a complaint started, then come back the next day because the manager from the Hotel needed to get it approved. Just for him to LIE TO Expedia that I slept in the room and did not check out of the room, he lied to Expedia about everything in front of me. I paid $238 and was charged $110 for the night I checked out and he refunded me 1 day back. The audacity of this manager to lie to his customers, Expedia and future customers with fake pictures.

We did not even stay here it was so BAD!!!!!! We had a one year old with us traveling too. We ended up sleeping in our car because all hotels were sold out due to it being a holiday. We were not even offered a refund either. It wasn’t cleaned at all. Trash all over the floor, dirty sheets, bullet hotels in the walls, doors busted in. Highly recommend staying far away from this hotel and Expedia!!!!

if you're looking to smoke some crack and hang with some prostitutes, look no further! this place is rough. front desk lady was very kind and did everything she could. but unless you absolutely must sleep on a bed, I'd recommend sleeping in your car before staying here.

So gross, flies EVERYWHERE, roaches, smoke smell gave me a headache and threw up 2x, sink has mold, “room service” is only changing your sheets. Stayed here a week without cleaning, towels (unless we asked for it MORE THAN 2x), or anything. LOUD MUSIC AT 4:30am from front desk…We literally kept saying how we couldn’t wait to get out of this dump. How is it still in business?! We had our alarm set but we literally just got up and left at 4:30AM after hearing mice 🤮

Every time i stay here have to change multiple rooms always somwthing wromg hotel manager very rude and disrespectful doesnt want to hear yiur complaints nor try to fix them and interrupted my stay multiple times and still didnt fix anything while disrupting my stay the tv and ac unit did not work no sheets on my bed or pillows

Is staying at a homeless shelter on your bucket list? Well just skip this place because they need to make major changes to reach homeless shelter status. Starting with the front office the man at the desk doesn’t understand English. Told him at least 10 I need a room very close to the parking lot because my girlfriend uses a wheelchair. He said no problem no problem. He gives me a key and I ask him for directions to the room. He can’t explain how to get there in English. I point out to him there are rooms 50’ away with blue marked parking bumper right out side the door. He kept saying this room good this room good. I walked back the way he said to go and enjoyed walking over the deck with boards broken out. Once you walk by all of the shirtless young men getting their high on you reach the building. The security door doesn’t work because someone kicked it in. Pay no attention to the mattress in the hall. Go into your lovely room with the broken dead bolt because it was kicked in. Peel back the soiled sheets to view the bed bug feces on the mattress. I could go on and on. After driving 14 hrs I left drove 2 hrs more to a very comfortable rest area and slept in the truck.

It was stinky and very dirty and loud. It was gross. The hotel itself has potential but it needs new ownership and new staff.

THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE!! People sleeping in the hallway. Exterior doors were broken!! The smell was ratchet. Broken windows. This should be taken off Expedia and condemned. I paid ahead of time so I couldn’t get my money back. Such a disappointment for Expedia to promote this property. Not a good look for anyone!!

Absolutely horrible! Hotel was so dirty. Had no towels, stains everywhere(sofa, bed sheets,floors). Tv didn’t turn on, no remote, dirty refrigerator. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever passing through Pensacola! People hanging all around property! Very unsafe.

Room was not cleaned once we checked in. The room floor looked as if it had never been swept. There was also no toiletries, towels or remote to the television. Was quiet and bed was comfy though.

One night stay. Everything wrong. Midnight staff rude. No ashtray, towels, garbage can, or fridge. Sink in bathroom not working. Tub leaking. Kitchen sink leaking. Desk stained, lights broken or not working. Lock on door broke. Floor tore up. Only 2 pillows for king size bed. Dirty pillow cases.
