I enjoyed my stay here! Comfortable rooms and the amenities were great! They have a great workout room!! The 24 hours snack Café is unbelievable. Kitchenette had everything I would need to cook a meal and the grocery store is right next-door. I will definitely stay here again. And would highly recommend it.

Nice room for price. A/c worked well. Quiet slept well Tv was not hooked up. I hooked it up. Only had one channel though. Shower soap dispenser was empty.

Love the room however their were small issues like the TV in our room worked fine but in order to change channels you had to stand in front of the TV 2 inches away to work, our coffee pot didn't work, but over all we enjoyed our stay and our room and would still recommend Candlewood Suites by IHG.

The mattress and sheets had stains on them, the remote didn’t work, and there were trash left in the drawers. Never again will I stay here.

Went and got told they canceled my stay when i didn’t get a email then i left and they still tried to take money out of my account after telling me i don’t have a room .

Greeted by a hallway full of May flies, dirty hand prints on light switches, floors were dirty. They did spray air fresheners throughout A LOT!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a long time! The cleaning staff was present, accommodating, and happy! When is the last time that has happened??? After a not-so-great Air BnB that we had to leave, this was a blessing in disguise. Keep up the great work! I would definitely come back!

The room was not fully clean and the walls and floors in the bathroom had visible staining. Other than that, it was clean. The air conditioning unit did blow out a mild odor which I had to mask with air freshener I purchased from the dollar store across the street.

Great place for work stay and convenient local

It was raining and water slipped in around the AC making a pudgle in the room. The refrigerador compressor sounded like a truck starting a few times a day The pillows smelled of smoke The bathroom needed wall patch work that was warping and peeling near tub The upstairs neighbor was heavy and walking alot which produced that irritaing trump for me as the downstairs neighbor - this would be contínuos for about 2 hours daily - late afternoon No continental breakfast at a price that id expect a meal . The TV did not change channels . The shower had good pressure and hot water worked - the shower was awesome . The bed was very comfortable .slept well. The room smelled good except those Smokey pillows The front desk staff was very curteous when I submitted the above laundry list of bad experience over my 2 nights of visit .

The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly. Our room was not cleaned properly. The walls were dirty. The windows were dirty and the bathroom was dirty. The beds were uncomfortable and the hallway and room had a smell to it.

We were there for Extraordinary Women Conference and first time staying with Candlewood. We attended church on Sunday at Olive Baptist Church and didn't realize how convenient the location. Very enjoyable stay and I would recommend for next year conference.

This is a good stop. There is a little store with the basic necessities where you can buy stuff. The staff is friendly and the hotel is dog friendly. There were a lot of dogs and I traveled with mine as well. The room had a working fridge. There was a microwave pretty much a full kitchen with plates. The room was a good size. I would just say the bathroom light looked like it almost had a dead rat inside. But it is a good cheap place to stay at. There’s a pool outside and a 24 hour gym and laundry. They use Dove soap as well. Everything is nice just a little more cleaning in the restrooms. The ac is okay but hotels usually don’t have good ac

If you need to park for the night and get up early (there is no official breakfast), it is a good place but, if that is not your plan, skip it.

Also the floor in the room was filthy — had not been mopped (tile floor) and when I wiped up some spilled water, the paper towel was black with dirt!

Lovely room, very clean and spacious, pool was nice, so was the bathroom. Only hiccup waa the room above us did not stop stomping all night and kept us awake. Otherwise very nice!

Unfortunately I didn’t make it to the room. I checked in at the front desk. Went to Sacred Heart Hospital to be with family. Stayed at hospital overnight, no sleep. Called front desk from hospital at 10:30 am this morning and checked out over phone

Had everything I needed and then some.

Excellent room with a full kitchenette complete with a dishwasher, utensils in the cabinets and drawers, and a disposal! I don’t need any of this for a quick stay over but super impressed! Large room, large bathroom, HUGE bathtub with good water pressure and hot water. No breakfast is served here but there’s a mini stove and full size fridge, this place would be primo for a long stay! Would absolutely stay here again with my little dog. Pet fee $25 and there’s a sidewalk around the building and a dog area in the back—the back area looks like a work in progress/construction-ish right now.

Frankly, we chose it because it only cost $25 to bring the dog. We weren't expecting much, but the wife was very pleased with the room.

There was a hairball stuck to the bathroom floor and dog hair on the top bed spread. The shower was clean enough and the linens looked to be clean besides the bedspread. The linen on the chair had stains and looked to be not cleaned recently. The staff was helpful and friendly when we asked for a late check out, but the building interior and room cleanliness was average at best.

The room was great. Everything was clean. It was nice to have a kitchenette. The amount of channels you received on the TV was awesome. The front desk staff were awesome. I initially had a Wi-Fi issue and they fixed it right away. I come here to visit family twice a year and I will definitely come back here.

The room was clean, well stocked, spacious and it had a mini kitchen to boot. The staff was very friendly. We were able to check in early and that was a plus especially after the drive. The hotel is right in the heart of everything, stores, restaurants etc., all within walking distance.

I have a problem with staff not knowing how computer system works. She charged my card 5 times for my stay. I am still wating for a refund after 10 days.

Everything worked great the staff everybody said good morning and always smiling. It was just a lovely experience all the way around. I recommend it as a ex pilot commercial pilot. I stayed in a lot of hotels. I like this one.

The hotel itself is great. The area of town where its located is not the best and pretty far from the beach.

The hotel is decent, but the beds are way too soft. The rooms need to be aired out cause of a muggy stale smell in them. They have no ice buckets, to get ice, so if you need to get ice, you have to bring a tray from your own fridge in the room.

The property and staff were good, my only issue with the room was that the floor was a laminate floor and it seemed to be damp(very humid )feeling in the entire room both days we were there even though the air conditioning was running what seemed to be normal. The hand towels and our shower towels that were hung up after use stayed damp the whole time and never dried . The floor was not clean completely either because I walked around once during the night in socks and they were dirty afterwards. The beds were less than comfortable as well, felt like sleeping on a piece of plywood with a thin layer of foam covering it. Not what I would expect to find in any middle to upper class hotel.

I am an IHG reward member and have been for over 20 years and have NEVER felt what I felt here at this property! I had a second rude encounter the following day when I asked where I could find towels for the pool. A different man was at the front desk and responded rudely and I was really surprised by this! However, upon checkout, there was a woman at the front desk who was extremely polite and courteous! You need more staff like her because the first 2 staff members would be a reason that I not ever visit your establishment again nor recommend it to others!

One of our best most comfortable stays. It is a older motel. Rooms have been updated but nothing fancy, and are neat and comfortable. We had a suite and it was larger than really needed newer flooring, and had more room space than we needed in the room. Nice larger refrigerator and microwave. Very convenient to every thing. We stayed 6 days and enjoyed pool also. Would definitely stay again.

Coldest ac ever in a hotel, soft beds, spacious rooms

Most conditions of the room were good. Except for the floors, they were filthy. My feet & socks were black.

We were there for one week wish the housekeeping would have changed the sheets and brought new towels and swept the floor. At least once during our stay would have been nice. All in all was a very nice place to stay. Would stay there again. Very good rates also

First time at this location we were in town to enjoy a beach trip. The ppl at the front desk where some what friendly but not much. They didn't speak much when you came in or out. On the last day of our stay I noticed that we needed towels I remember seeing the workers in the hall that morning and I thought they had cleaned up and brought fresh towels but upon calling the front desk I was told they dont do that. We were looking to get a shower before hitting the road I was told we had to bring all the towels and rags to the front desk to get more then was told by front desk there where no more!!! We had been to the beach everyday there was sand everywhere wet and wet towels. This hotel is a bit pricey to be having all this going on. To top it off they dont service breakfast either. When I was checking out the heavy set guy on 7/20 at 11:30 ish he didnt speak he didnt ask how my stay was or nothing! The bed are hard and uncomfortable! The pillowcases smelled liked they hadn't been wased in days! The guy at the front desk also told me they only clean linen every seven days. So if you're stay is longer than that everyday you gotta walk your wet towels and rans to the front desk to get more and on the 7th day they will clean your room and so called change the sheets! That absurd! Needless to say this was my first time in Pensacola and wont be my last but will definitely be my last at this hotel! Ive been in worst hotels with breakfast and A-1 customers service. Honest review!

One of the best properties ive been to in my life. Definitely can tell this was recently built or renovated. It was very clean. The staff was nice and check-in was very smooth. Definitely would stay here anytime i visit Pensacola.

I was coming out from an ICU discharge for 5 broken ribs and when we got to the hotel there was no elevator and he put us in the highest floor. After discussing the situation he put us in the 2nd floor which was better but not good enough given the high level of pain. Many trips up and down for my 70 year old husband to get our things in and out of the room. That is the ONLY reason for my 3 stars.

Nice stay, free laundry and a place to grill out. Pool was small but nice. Full kitch in my room was nice. Elevator was broke so we had to haul up to the 3rd floor which was annoying. Should have gotta discount for that. Sold 10+ minute drive to Pensacola Beach.

Had everything you needed in the suite and the bed was soooo comfortable !!

Elevator was broke the entire time and I was on the 4th floor. I had to carry bags up and down 4 flights of stairs every day. I also got stuck on the elevator when there was no out of order sign on the outside of the doors.

Stopped for night on our way to Fort Lauderdale. Clean and safe. Right off highway. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms was horrible dealing with the rooms being to cold or to hot dogs barking all night kids running up and down upstairs

The hotel rooms are spacious with full kitchen (appliances, dishes, utensils, etc.) and good size bathroom. Staff was helpful when we had minor issues like needing towels. I enjoy being in rooms without carpet flooring, so that was a plus for me. About a 15 minute drive from the beach. I would stay here again!

Very clean and easy check in, but do know furry friends add an extra $25 per pet to fees upon check in. We were surprised by this as I didn’t see it anywhere while booking through Expedia, and had to fork out an extra $50 only to sleep there and check out the next morning. BIG bummer! Other than that, would recommend.
