Didn’t eat their breakfast Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and no bar soap anywhere. I had to go buy a bar of soap! I didn’t try to contact staff.

Once we brought it to their attention they claimed they were ear ring cases ? that they’d tell house keeping to do better. We thought it was nice at first. I liked how they have the rooms set up very nice and comfy! Ok the very last stay I found a BED BUG!!! The front office lady told me that it was me and because I travel no I have never had one bed bug. this hotel is nice and all but that’s very Disgusting!

Didn't think the room was very good, the air conditioner didn't work properly, and it was cold always even with the heat on at night in my room. Plus I didn't think the breakfast was very good either! It could've been better and the service was very slow answering the bell when they weren't at the counter. I won't stay there again! I'll just go somewhere else. Thanks though for the survey! Everything, Like I said everything was not as I expected. Won't be staying there again!

Check-in was smooth, room was clean and all the amenities worked. Bathroom could've used a little attention as far as cleanliness, but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was offered, but was sparse for what was available. Fresh fruit, prepackaged donuts, bagels, and muffins. Two selections of cereal, juice machine, milk and yogurt. I mean, it's enough to get started for the day. But a hot food offering like the standard waffles or pancakes would've been nice. Overall the hotel was clean and in order. I'd stay again. The price was reasonable for what was offered.

Breakfast was a joke. Not much in the way of cereal. There were donuts that were stale. The did have a couple of oranges and bananas. The noise: sounded like someone was bouncing a ball upstairs. There was also an electrical noise of some sort that ran all night.

Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk. One guest was already waiting when i walked in. Another came in just after me. We rang the call button several times with no response. After about 10-15 minutes, management arrived in the lobby. Thay had left the premises. There had been no staff at all in the building. This was just after 3pm,which is check in time. I was eventually checked in and given my room key. The room was mostly acceptable, but the bathroom was questionable. The tub looked as though someone has been using it as a place to clean paint brushes. Stained and slightly crusted with some kind of residue. The toilet seat was wooden and it was cracked and paint was peeling from it. Will not stay at this location again. I would rather sleep in my truck.

For the most part it was fine. Just needed a place to sleep. There was a couple hairs in the shower oh well they washed away. It could use some killz on the celing in the shower. Some minor updates. Overall it was fine.

It started out fine for the most part til the kicked my son in law out for walking in the hallway. The rooms were okay but definitely expected better.

The window had a terrible leak from the ceiling and the window didn't lock. There was a board holding the window shut, and the leak was directly on top of the heater/air conditioner system which could've resulted in a fire. The bathroom was dirty and I had to ask for extra toilet paper because the roll was almost gone when we arrived. I will NOT be staying here again.

The kids enjoyed the pool. It was nice that we were able to have our dog with us too.

Found mold growing around base of tub. Reported it to front desk (Property Manager). He said it would be cleaned. It was NOT cleaned. Dust around bed headboard. Hand towels were not replaced with clean ones. Ice bucket was not emptied and lined replaced. Appears to have very lazy staff. Would NOT recommend to anyone to stay there.

All and all it wasn’t a very bad place especially when your on a budget it’s one of the better and nicer places then most

Bed was mostly comfortable, but sheets were very worn out. Air conditioner left a pool of water on the floor. Staff was nice and tried to resolve issues we had with first room (refrigerator and tv didn’t work, tub was very stained, sheets had cigarette burn holes) by giving us a different room, which was much better. We enjoyed the Indoor Swimming pool.

It looked like a trap house and we did not stay ended up loosing $150 and went somewhere else to stay

bad smells, hallways and room. beds hard and noisy. dead locks are non-functioning. Very few options for breakfast. very glad we only stayed one night. overpriced for value.

Checked in later not late around 830-9 pm. Lady at the front desk was very nice. She must have bee off doing something else. I waited to be checked in for about 5-10 minutes with no one at the desk. Checked in all good. Got up early in the morning to take a shower and the water just dripped out rid faucet. (Thank goodness my wife was not with). Shower head was dirty. I do have pics. No time to complain had to be out the door early too. When we left in the morning and again no one to be found in the front desk or even the lobby to great anyone in the morning.

Staff was rude upon arrival not professional at all was booked for 3 only accommodated 2 didn’t even give 2 key cards AND THERE WERE BUGS BUGS BUGS WILL NOT BE BACK

Front desk was friendly. No coffee pot in the room and breakfast contsist of packed everything , donuts, muffins and bagels.

Over priced for what is offered. The tiles were cracked in the bathroom, shower was dirty, ac unit was super loud n coming out of the wall, the common areas stunk, and the breakfast left a LOT to be desired. There was nothing fresh. The only things that were available were cereal and an old looking muffin. Would definitely NOT recommend this place unless there are no rooms available anywhere else.

This motel works very well for us. Early check-in was very gracious and helped us get to our event on time. Room is spacious and well appointed.

The room itself was very nice but the bathroom was awful. The light had bugs in it, the tub drain had rust and the floor was dirty.

Stay was amazing but water pressure sucks and the hot water does not last longer than 10 minutes jacuzzi tub took 45 minutes for tub to fill up half way and hot water ran out before it could get cold

Waited 15 minutes to check in, no one was in the office. Could only take a shower, the switch to turn the shower on and off was rusted so we couldn’t take a bath only showers. The people at the desk were rude to us the whole time. The housekeepers were really nice tho!

It was ok the tv didn’t work but other then that it was alright the pool was closed and they we’re remodeling.

Convenient to downtown and nearby shopping. Not much toilet paper supplied. Entry lights by door did not work.

The property is run down. The bathtub leaked like a faucet running all night. So bad that I had to shut the bathroom door and turn on the TV said I could sleep. The Kleenex dispenser was broken. The blanket that covered the bed was dirty… I had to wait 15 minutes to get someone to check me in. Needless to say, I won’t be staying there again.

Quiet but i came to the area to be closer to the hospital for a heart procedure to be done. Couldnt shower before the hospital due to the water pressure and cleanliness not being appropriate for such procedure. I basically didnt want to leave with anything i didnt come with. The sheetes wouldn't stay on the dirty mattress. My cousin and i had to sleep middle bed together to stay on sheets. The refrigerator wasnt plugged in and smelled horribly with black dots inside. Pool completely empty but didnt say that online and you probably should. Breakfast has gas station prewrapped donuts that didnt look very good. Cereal is available but you have to get milk out of a gallon jug in a small fridge. The way this world is i dont think thats very safe. Good way for a bad person to hurt a lot of people. All food options ahould be sealed for safety. And theres no elevator which again i wouldnt ahve gone considering i was having a heart procedure. Overall id not recommend or return.

The place was absolutely disgusting! There's no stairs. And the continental breakfast was donuts that had been thawed out and were soggy and oatmeal. My room smelled like a complete ashtray it didn't matter how much air freshener used

When I arrived, I waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in (they were busy fixing a tv somewhere). The lock on the window in my room was broken - they had a wood stick there to put down for "security". The bathroom floor was so slick (greasy) I didn't want to walk on it. Just very unclean in general - will not return there.

If you like quiet hotels this place was okay. There was a broken toilet seat, dog food under the nightstand (no pets), 1/4” of dust on each headboard, bed covers stained horribly, floors horrible couldn’t walk without shoes in room, & absolutely no customer service skills. God forbid you run out of toilet paper alone in the room they won’t run up a single roll.

Came into the (non-smoking) room without AC running and literally was having difficulty breathing! OK afterward with AC going. This was an extremely rare thing for me as I have no lung issues. Breakfast was poorest of any motel I've been in 50 years of extensive travel in the U.S and abroad. Owners were not that friendly. They even yelled at one person leaving after checking out. Picnic table in front was in broken state for at least 2 months. A couple of nails and/or a new board would have probably fixed it. Not a great experience for us.

Overall an okay stay. The biggest problem being the place was pretty dirty, smelly, and mystery stains everywhere. Mini fridge and AC barely functioned.

Staffing was understaffed ( couldn’t find housekeeping). We stayed for 4 days and we were happy with most things but there was insufficient towels and toilet paper and toilet seat needed replacement (broken hinge, chipped coating). Water was hot quickly (may have been room location), beds were comfy as were the pillows. Room decor was good/ interesting. Not a horrible choice but it could use some TLC.

Smell like cigarettes. People were slamming doors all night and screaming. No hot water.

The breakfast was VERY minimal. A few packaged muffins, packets of instant oatmeal. The indoor pool was nice.

The owners were GREAT, They were very kind and went above and beyond to see that a much needed quite night away was accommodated!

This hotel was so noisy and slamming doors even at 4 in the morning. The beds are very uncomfortable and you feel like your laying on a hump. The manager was unfriendly and noisy when we didn't know what for to use. This location needs to be shut down. There kids were swimming in the pool and made the remark to my grandson(you wanna fight) and was throwing balls at him. Very rude

At check-in I waited I. The lobby ten minutes before the night clerk appeared. I didn’t request a smoking room. Actually I swore the listing said non-smoking property, but my room wreaked. I had to open the windows it was so bad. When I turned on the air conditioner there was a note instructing to hide tips there… My blanket was riddled with cigarette burns. There were no towels. The microwave turntable hadn’t been cleaned and was covered in the dried remnants of easy Mac. The tub was covered in dark greasy residue. My tip to the house keepers is actually do your job. I should’ve been paid to stay there like something out of fear factor, not the other way around

It was clean but seemed to be in repair/remodel. My tub faucet leaked. When I tried to check out a day early the person behind the desk first told me that I couldn't do that. I told him I wasn't staying and if he needed to keep the money for the day I wasn't going to be there that was fine. He made the effort to refund my money after I held firm.

Check-in employee requested service dog identification which is not required by law. Almost no water pressure on hot water setting. TV didn’t work.

Was overall a good stay for the price. Only complaint is I was told the pool would be open year round because it's indoors and when I got there it was closed. Good water pressure, owners are kind.

The web site said the pool was open. It was not. Tons of water in it with balls but not allowed to swim. They said they had breakfast. I do not count Cornflakes and oatmeal as breakfast. The mattress where old and could feel every spring. It was dirty. It said smoke free and you could smell it through the whole hotel.

The room was clean, but you could tell it used to be a smoking room; holes in blankets. It was decent for the money, but very limited breakfast.

Our stay wasn't the greatest. The check in was awesome, quick and friendly. Rooms were clean, but several things were in need of repair, replacement. Room was non smoking but smelled of heavy smoke, duvets had several cigarette burn holes. Pool was closed due to health dept and we weren't informed of this at check in, so we went in the door of the pool closest to our room only to be told we couldn't swim due to the health dept closing it. Breakfast hours started after we had to be out of our room for our soccer tourney, and it was just overall a disappointing experience. The room was a good value with the pool/breakfast perks, but without it was a little pricey.

The first picture on this site is of their pool. The pool was shut down by the health department for a safetyy concern. The hotel staff did not have the pool door locked or it properly marked. My children were in this pool then abruptly removed by the staff. The price of the hotel is the same as other hotels with working pools and the pool is the only reason we booked this hotel. When we asked the hotel to match the same price as surrounding hotels that dont have pools they refused.

The place is run down and reeks of cigarette, Marijuana, and something else we couldn't figure out. There appeared to only be 2 employees and one of them let himself into our room. The floors were stained, the beds are hard, and there was a burn hole in the sheets. We didn't stay for breakfast, checked out early and found a better hotel. I have no idea how this place has a 3.4 rating.

I checked in to room 201 on. May 13,2022. Walking in the building was disappointing. There was ants in the foyer.We walked in the room and it smelled strongly like cigarette. It was late so we dismissed as sprayed my perfume throughout the room and called it a night. I woke up this morning to find bed bugs on the bed my daughters slept in. I immediately took out my camera and called front desk but there was no answer. This is disgusting and unsanitary . I do not recommend and expect a full refund for my stay. I hope none of those bed bugs got into our luggage or bags.

It's location is perfect for my travel, but am wondering if the room price remained same after shutting down amenities (pool, breakfast, coffee maker in room...)

This is absolutely the worst place to stay in the Pekin, IL area. It’s dirty, smells like marijuana, outdated, carpets are nasty, beds are like boards, bedding has cigarette burns, the shower didn’t work, but could go on. Do NOT stay here.

The check in and out was quick and easy. Room was not nearly as I had hoped. Beds were ancient, not good comfort level. I don’t know if I would stay again if another option is available.

The only thing good about this hotel is its location. I reserved a non smoking room with 2 queen beds. I was 1st given a room on the 2nd floor that was a smoking room with 1 queen bed. I walked back downstairs with my luggage to get a proper room. I was then given a room on the 1st floor that turned out to already have a guest in the room when I opened the door. I went back to the desk, again, and was then given a room once again on the 2nd floor which turned out to be acceptable.

Road construction

It was a okay stay for the money. We got a room with a jacuzzi. The 1st room wr got the stopper to hold the water in the jacuzzi didnt work so we switched rooms. The 2nd room we got was very big and spacious! The couch in the room looked very dated and used. The room overall looked very clean but it had a very old damp smell. Overall it was a decent stay.

It was clean and efficient. Elizabeth, at the front desk was very helpful. I had trouble with my remote and the overnight gentleman, came to our room and handled the issue quickly. Near restaurants, Wal-Mart and easy to get to all major highways. Would definitely stay again.

Close to Menards

I got there and they didnt have a room available...which made me go to a different hotel...which cost me twice as much money ...I am not happy at all...i use expedia all the time and I know I got reimbursed for the first hitel but I should get something for having to double what I was planning. This cause a financial burden on my trip!

The room was good. Couch looked gross, but it was most likely paint drippings from being uncovered. The only real issue was the breakfast. Wanted oj but there were no cups for juice, milk or coffee, no staff was around to ask so I went back to the room. We all know what hotels are used for, so all in all it was a pretty good stay. The night clerk was friendly too.
