I mistakenly booked this room. (Wrong location and non refundable) Upon arrival I the place look like an abandoned building. The pool area was not very clean. And I'm not sure that was real meat at breakfast. But the room and the staff was nice.

I had a lot of bags, I asked the manager for a cart and he said the were penalty being used and offered no help at all. As soon as I walked in I had to kill a bug in the restroom, the tub is rusted and peeling and had weird tape on it, for $170, I should really be refunded as I cousin even shower! Not sure if other rooms are better but don’t let them give you room 204. Bed was also very hard.

The hotel sits back from the hwy far enough that you don't hear a lot of traffic. They have a sizable outside pool and a small hot tub. I used the exercise room while I was there, and it was adequate, albeit a bit small. The breakfast is better than most chain hotels. They had a pancake machine that I didn't try, but they had biscuits and gravy, bacon, powdered eggs, yogurt, sausage, omelettes, breads, and fruit. We saw the Sysco truck pull up one morning. It's all processed, but that meets with my expectation. The nice breakfast lady works very hard to keep food available. They have 2 coffee machines, but I didn't like the coffee. The front desk is responsive. We needed fresh towels and they provided those in short order when we asked. Our room was clean when we arrived and the bed was comfortable. We couldn't get the AC to run with the constant fan. That's always good for white noise. Our electric iron leaked water really bad and our in-room coffee maker didn't work. Because of a lack of better properties in Pearland, I would stay here again.

The breakfast was great! I specifically enjoyed it starting at 6am and having the ability to take it to go if needed. I usually stay at another brand hotel, and this was my first stay at a Holiday Inn Express and I AM SOLD! This will definitely be the place we stay from now on!

Breakfast was decent, staff great, a/c wonderful. Fridge didn’t cool at first then froze everything in it once it was repaired. Shower head didn’t appear clean and iron needs to be flushed out. Hard water granules stained my clothes.

There were several roaches in our room around the mini bar sink. Staff was indifferent when brought to their attention.

I do think the building is old, large cracks in the tiling and a surprisingly strong ant presence was slightly off putting. The building feels old, and that might be leading to these issues more than cleanliness, as the cleaners did work hard daily and were thorough in their bug removal. They just kept coming back!

Heater did not work. This was a problem since the temp dropped overnight into the 40s and I had a sick child. Granted the room didn't freeze, the heater option should have been available.

Service was great and everyone was super nice. We did have a couple concerns though. The floor under the HVAC unit felt pretty bouncy, which made us wonder if there had been a leak at some point and possibly some water damage. It also made us a little concerned about mold. The door bolt was also really loose, which made us feel a bit uneasy safety-wise.

Mrs Michelle brought up her segregated manners to the hotel where behavior in such way is unacceptable! I felt humiliated and attacked after pounding at our door to corral my kids or leave comment . I like this hotel....the staff is so friendly. I gave one low-ish score only because this hotel is due for a major major update. The room was clean and comfy and quiet. My room looked over the pool...I love the sound of families having fun out there.

The only minor issue was when the fire alarm went off at 4:30sh am , the front desk wouldn’t answer the phone lol I went out to see what was goi g, didn’t see smoke so went back and try to go back to sleep.

We had a great stay at this property, after our flight got delayed and then canceled they were so helpful in reassuring us that our room would be waiting for us and made a stressful situation a little less stressful. Even though we checked in later than expected, we got to room on 1st floor. It was clean and cool! Bathroom was clean and water was hot! I would've like to have the faucet a little more pressure. We stayed for a wedding for 4 days and we did put up the sign on the door for no cleaning. However, during my initial inspection(I do this at every place we stay because you can never be too careful) the room wasn’t very clean, there was blonde hairs in the shower wall. I also lifted the sheets off the bed to check for bed bugs and the mattress was stained. I didn’t put on a complaint. Besides that the breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. Would consider staying again but definitely would mention this next time.

Surprisingly nice for how much we paid. Room was very nice, clean, updated. Breakfast was delicious and ran until 10:30. There’s a pool, gym, printer, and the landscaping was very nice. Will stay here again.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean but our mattress made loud creaking noises when you roll over.

The only problem that I encountered was no hot water for 2 days of my stay at the hotel. I reported it to the front desk and was told that they were aware that it happens every other day. I was given the managers name to report the problem and to request a credit for the inconvenience. I received a credit. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The hot breakfast was good and convenient.

Need to do a better job of pest control. Ants in our bathroom and cockroach by ice machine. Carpet in hall way was a trip hazard as well as the threshold into the elevator cab.

The stay was great. The staff for the most part were absolutely wonderful. Outside of having an issue with one of the young men clerks and the lady working with the food, everyone else was knowledgeable and very friendly. The GM took care of the issues we had right away and apologized for the issues. The breakfast was great. We were in rm 107 so it was close to the eating area so it did get a little loud but nothing we couldn't handle. The room was spacious and very clean. If/when we come back to the Houston area we will definitely stay here again. The tutles in the pond out front were an added bonus. They were very entertaining.

Good quality breakfast a lot of the other hotels have maintenance maintenance problems with their hot tubs or pools. One of them we found had a problem with their AC. So we've tried a couple different places and we found that this one in particular is the best

The hotel was clean and comfortable. In a good, central location with plenty of parking available. The pool was decent too. My only complaint was that when we went to the pool area with the kids, there was a woman that came out to smoke right by the pool even though there are no smoking signs all over the property. We asked the receptionist for assistance and she said that she would ask the manager but she never did and nothing was done about it. Other than that, it was good overall and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a decently priced conveniently located hotel in Pearland.

Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable, pillows were amazing, room was clean, breakfast was good (my favorite was the biscuit and sausage gravy), and parking was easy. In a good area, Walmart is across the street, Valero is down the road, lots of food options, and everything you need is literally within 3-5 minutes away. The down side was the lady in the room next to us, she was so loud talking until 3 AM complaining to someone about politics and her tax dollars paying for unwanted bike lanes. Her privilege was very obnoxious to hear about all night. The store they have there to sell snacks and drinks could use more options and maybe more medicines like TUMS. That was the only issue which one wasn’t their fault and the other is just a suggestion to make something a little better.

The AC had me stumped. Like the heater would turn on and trying to hit the temp requested on auto was not always a success. Seemed like we went from freezing to hot and was a trick to get the temp we requested. Room was nice, mostly quiet. Good breakfast, tasty and well prepared.

Very nice breakfast choices. Love having a Keurig in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the lotion and soap at the sink and in the shower. No complaints or suggestions for further stays.

Nice hotel… bathroom could use some updates but clean and comfortable

Sheets had gross stains, microwave didn’t work. Everything else was great! They gave me new sheets and breakfast was good

Stayed in 3rd floor room - there are some obvious issues with the floors - they are so uneven, the tile in the bathroom were popping up and I stubbed my toe on one of them. My business associate who was put on first floor had a decent room. Staff checking in was rude. Will not return.

I had an wonderful, comfortable stay. The staff was extremely friendly, breakfast variety was excellent and the price was very economical compared to neighboring hotels. Will definitely stay again while in Pearland.

Nice hotel. 4 night stay did not have maid service one day, but they comp snacks the next night. They overcharged the incedential charge which was a nuisance.
