Travelodge by Wyndham Pasadena Central

This place was organized appeared clean but there was hair in the bathroom the baseboards and walls were nasty in the bathroom also. The washing machine was out of order Shower was not very clean looking. Hopefully I won't have to stay there again. It was over priced no breakfast.

Dirty bathroom. Rusty tissue box. Nosy AC. Old thin bathroom towels. The whole hotel need to be upgrade, especially the bathroom.

Bed uncomfortable and rock hard, no coffee table or end table by chair. No lamp or nightlights over bed stands. No bathroom fan and just one small towel each. Denied extra pillow. TV didn't include big-4 stations, so INDY 500 missed and no local/LA news. Police cars showed up Sunday morning with lights rolling. Many closed businesses, so 3-4 blocks to food and Eerie neighborhood. No cover on bed, just VERY old sheet and blanket. Manager shows up at 11:02 with maid in tow. No time to breathe.

The old standby. This hotel is a reliable, clean, and affordable stay. Whenever in Pasadena and in need of a comfortable (beds are super soft) and no-frills stay, this is it. I have stayed here many times and never disappointed: consistent and professional stay. Thanks to Jay & his family for making it so.

I make sure to save money & maximize comfort at this Travelodge by Wyndham. I shall return.

My particular room I could hear other people's conversations through the thin walls. The bathroom needs to be refurnished with a new toilet, tub, and flooring. Better floor cleaning is also recommended. The bed was extremely lumpy. Air conditioner would work sometimes. I did appreciate the hot water, clean marble sink, and good TV reception.

Not enough parking for the property but street parking available. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean but lacking regular amenities, ie facial tissue, extra towels, extra toilet paper. Had to go to the front desk for times when we ran out.

No. I am handicap and someone parked next to my car on the striped lines. Manager knew and didn’t have car illegally towed away. This car Parked on strips was a hazard to me and other parked car using handicap parking legally.

My room had bedbugs in it. I got bit all night long when I woke up is when we found the bedbugs we had bites all over us. I contacted them and I was told by the owner that he was going to refund me and because I booked through a third-party I haven’t seen a refund. I’ve called the third-party and they said no refund has been issued. I would never stay at this hotel again I warned everybody not to stay there. The bedbugs were full adult adults.

The room was clean, mostly quiet. Staff was nice. Did have a microwave and fridge but didn't have hand towels just the regular bath towels. Parking was a bit of a challenge for larger vehicles such as a pickup truck as the parking lot is limited in size and number of spaces. Checking out was easy.

yes, it was nice to stay there. Family trip so quiet, peaceful easy access to Colorado Boulevard safe to walk a lot of restaurants.

I was warmly greeted when I checked in. My room was very clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave. The bed and pillows were very clean with nice linens. Location is convenient for many activities around the Pasadena area. Parking was easy and parking lot well lit.

Manager Jay was helpful accommodating connecting rooms. Room cleanliness was beyond subpar. Not only outdated, but dirty. No toilet paper in one room. Smelled like smoke. Backed up drains in sink and shower. Towels were stained and did not appear to be fresh. Mildew on shower curtains and in tub. Layer of dust buildup on all lights and horizontals. I had to convince my wife to not leave and would have left myself if everything else locally had not been booked due to Rose Parade/Game. Will not return.

Very nice and helpful staff. Easy parking. We were able to unwind from our day and sleep just fine no issues with noise from neighbors or the surrounding area. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Decent place to stay. Some people riding around on bikes in the parking lot at night. Elevator was a plus when staying on the 3rd floor. Room was quiet. I would probably stay again.

The staff is great, and helpful. My biggest issue was the walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbors conversations and any general noise they made. It’s a good place to rest your head if you have a lot going on while on vacation.

The rooms are really nice here. The place is well insulated and spacious. The king bed is huge and comfortable. The staff are nice and hospitable. Its a nice stay for a reasonable price. Parking is free and they have an elevator. Jay, I believe either the manager or owner, is super hospitable and welcoming. The place is also walking distance from a few plazas. I stay here all the time and it's great. It feels like a hotel with hotel quality rooms, but for motel prices✌️

Very affordable and comfortable stay in Pasadena. Check in was a cinch. Jay was super polite and professional. Rooms were clean and shower was the real surprise superstar: great water pressure and a fancy shower head! Cable tv with video on demand and close to everything. I will be back!

Perfectly acceptable hotel for a quick stay. Not super roomy, but bed was pretty good. No closet space of any kind or anywhere to hang clothes up. convenient location, seemed safe enough. I would stay again for a night or two if in the area; anything longer I might look around. I did like having a larger mini fridge than many places I've been.

I enjoyed the quiet and was able to get some much needed sleep. I didn’t like the fact that I had to leave a 100 dollar deposit since there’s no mini-bar or movies to rent.

Room very run down, Not sure if it was food on the walls and lampshade, stains on blankets we always bring our own so just took off bed, carpets really need to be cleaned, bathroom should be spackled and painted shower was filthy I cleaned it myself so I can shower (photos are just the bathroom) will never stay here again , last when we got back to our room there was no place to park as they have work trucks and some kind of dolly in spaces we had to park in front of the office “not a stall with a small amount of mt car on the side walk” I stayed up waiting for someone to leave so I can take there space that was at midnight almost!

Decent living conditions for a decent price.

The TV and phone to the front didn’t work. The shower had mold in the tile grout. It’s no the best area. Definitely not family safe. The photos are deceiving.

I HAVE STAYED HERE BEFORE WITHOUT ISSUE. THIS TIME, THERE WAS NO HOT WATER AND THE MANAGER LIED ABOUT IT. HE OFFERED A $30.00 REFUND. I WILL CHALLENGE ALL THE CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD. HE IS A DESPICABL AND INCOMPETENT FOOL- HAVING NO HOT WATER IS ILLEGAL, UNACCEPTABLE, AND WILL BE DEALT WITH.

I've stayed here several times. Pasadena's Travellodge by Wyndham is best bet for the price. I/we will continue to stay here whenever in town.

Old and needs work. Bathtub was slow to drain. Pool didn't work. Key card didn't work. Staff was accomodating. No frills. Trash was changed daily and towels are changed as well. Close to different things.

Was syposed to have walk in shower and only has a tub. Also the shower geel was empty and not refilled.

Perfect location near down town Pasadena we came on a very hot day and had hoped to be able to go to the pool in the afternoon but had no idea their pool wasn’t in use until I got there. The room we stayed in was nice but near the voltage room and kept hearing a humming or buzzing sound the

The cleaning lady woke us up every morning at five am cleaning the hand rails yelling at the top of her lungs. The peep hole was stuffed with TP the window was broken in the corner where someone could unlock it and open it. The room next to use fought all four days we were there. Every night large groups of people gathered in the parking lot. The first night my boyfriend’s car was hit. This was the worst place I have ever stayed at! The beds were awful, no screens on the window and no vent in the bathroom so the window had to be open. We were bit by mosquitoes all night. NEVER AGAIN!!

I have a disability that prevents my ability to walk considerable distances so upon getting back to this Travelodge I discover that they do not have adequate parking, so the kid working the night window said I have to find parking down the street somewhere and walk back. That's not not going to happen so I'm now having to sleeping in my car while blocking in 3 other cars, they'll have to wake me up when they need to move thei vehicles and there's no if or what's about it one iota I'm not moving until then!!! And I'm never coming back to this particular property. P.S. the TV didn't work either.

The bed was ok but the room looked like an 80 year old handyman with poor sight did some improvements. Big gap between floor types, bathroom light hung uncentered, putty and patches everywhere, zero decor, exposed wires everywhere etc. didn’t feel clean, air conditioner was so loud I had to turn it off and open window, no replacement of coffee condiments or bed making.

A/C is loud even in its lowest setting, rooms are not amazing, cracked tiles in the bathroom etc. But again if it is just to place to lay your head its fine, if you want to complain about every little thing stay at the Hyatt!! Parking right outside the rooms. Area is quiet with several fast food locations in walking distance.

Was surprised to find they don’t have coffee in the lobby in the morning. Shower had short black curly hairs stuck to the walls. Kinna gross really.

The room was clean, with comfortable beds. Parking filled up easily but street parking was easy, so really no problem!

The second night, we were able to switch in to our original reservation room. We specifically picked this location for the jetted tub in the room, and were told they don’t exist in any rooms any longer. The tv wouldn’t connect to the cable in the new room, so for the remainder of our stay, we went without. The staff told us they had to call someone, but never did. The room seemed dirty in certain areas, and we found a roach while we were packing to leave. One staff member was as nice as possible during check in and out. She was apologetic about the issues. I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here, and I will not be going here again.

This is a motel rather than hotel. It is well worn and in mediocre condition. My room was very noisy being able to hear traffic outside, the people above me, and people next door.

Good for hot shower and bed. Thin walls, could hear guy next door on phone all night.

It’s always nice safe and clean no drama required

I was only staying at the property for 4 hours in between shifts at the hospital. Check in was at 6pm, check out around 10pm. I tried to get some sleep. People literally right next to me were slamming doors non stop, on one side. The other side had a guy sitting in a chair at the wide open front door. Directly in the hallway. WTH are we doing here?! I just wanted a quick safe place to crash for a few hours but it was awful. I will never be coming back. Sadly because the front desk was pretty nice.

Very straightforward lodging and for the price, not bad at all!

The bedrooms did not look clean. Sheets had visible stains. Family members all had insect bites, there was activity at all hours of the night. Upstairs guest constantly moving and making noise. Bathroom walls had scum, bathroom floors smell like urine. You get what you paid for.

There is a $100 cash deposit they have for you to make, so be aware of that. This is for checkout, which is why I only gave this location a 3-star rating: the haggling the I experienced at check-out. I wear essential oils, so of course, you're going to smell it once you enter the room. The guy at the desk wanted to give me a hard time, telling me that it was a strong medicine smell (frankincense and palo santo are not medicinal scents, btw) and that the next customer might complain. I explained that since I used essential oils (a natural substance), the scent would be canceled out IF they cleaned the room appropriately. I further suggested that whatever chemicals they use in their cleaners it will cancel out the natural aroma of EOs. Just beware of this property if you use essential oils, perfume, or cologne. They'll complain and might use that as an excuse not to give you your $100 deposit. I did get my deposit, and I will neither recommend nor stay at this Travelodge location again.

For price was disappointed there was no fridge. A few maintenance issues.

NEVER STAY HERE. Place is not Veteran friendly. They do have hidden fees as all the other post suggests, over and above $100. I have a cpap machine that I sleep with. They say my mask put stains on the pillow and charged me $50, just for that. Nothing in my room was worth $50. Spend more money and stay somewhere else. $50 fo 2 pillow covers, and they never once cleaned my room, wiped a corner or anything. This place is bad and not worth it.

This Hotel was very clean the Staff were very courteous and professional. I stayed there for 3 nights with my family for a funeral.The Manager assisted me and my family accommodated us and gave us a discount on the rooms because we had to fly back out very early.And we definitely will be back a a future visit.I recommend you go for a stay you will enjoy the pool and the area is convenient for eating,shopping,and sightseeing.

The managers of this property would not let me into my room unless I paid them cash deposit despite having my booking already paid for & a deposit made on my debit card. This was not disclosed in the reservation, so I declined. They then told me I didn't have a reservation despite having my booking receipt. It wasn't until I threatened to call legal that they let me into my room.

Hotel is in a nice location located on Colorado Blvd driving distance from some nice restaurants and the City Hall. Room was not very nice for the price though. There was just a small thin blanket and sheet on the bed. The refrigerator and freezer were not very clean and there was a lot of ice in the freezer. The microwave stunk so bad I opened it and closed it immediately we didn’t even use it. Was pretty upset with paying $200 for it

Plus Pasadena has everything, food, shopping, theaters and more. My lady feels comfortable staying here because it’s safe and ez to get around from. Often we leave the car parked the entire stay. Stays are typically 3-9 days and the online pricing is better than anything we can find locally comparable. Heck the only other places in this price range are in sketchy areas so we will return. It’s going on 3-years of treatments and we always stay at the Travelodge Pasadena central 2131 E Colorado Blvd.

The checkout time was supposed to be 2pm and the owner came and said you have to checkout by noon. I would like to talk to someone about this matter because I was fasled promised on the website. I’m not getting my moneys worth.

The refrigerator was small and the ice around the teeny freezer section was inches thick. The refrigerator froze during the night and broke my nice glass water bottle. (The front desk did reimburse me.) My 8” travel mirror that I had left on the desk also mysteriously disappeared. We scoured the room before we checked out, but it was nowhere to be found. We stayed there because of the price, but next time we’ll spend a little more and stay someplace a little nicer.

This place is nothing like how it is described the pool is locked. They do not clean your room daily and everything truly seems very outdated dingy I would not recommend and then they require a cash deposit ridiculous.

The room was dirty, there was piss all on the restroom seat and the sheets were dirty with stains so we literally went to the store to buy our own sheets and blankets over all the room was dirty and not cleaned at all.

However, I still had a great trip and I liked the view from the room.
