Hotel was clean, centrally located to lots of great plsces and spacious, our family enjoyed our stay here.

Check-in staff member was very good. Room was very good. Breakfast buffet is average for a limited service hotel like this, but is acceptable.

Also, the building is too old and needs to be renovated. The fore alarm went off early in the morning for no reason. And the staff just says “it happens”. There was no fire. Will not recommend anyone that needs quite nights of sleep to stay at this hotel. It is a shame, the location is great.

Staff was incredibly unhelpful, none of the staff was trying to help me when I asked for a reasonable accommodation for my temporary disability needs and they were so rude making MINIMAL to no help trying to help. I would not go back again. -champagne

Good location, very walkable to restaurants. The room are a good size and very comfortable. The room has a kitchen. They also offer a decent morning breakfast. There is no restaurant on the property for room service. When checking out, the staff person showed me the direct bill price. I would have saved money if I would have reserved through the hotel.

Impressive clean room and liked the location. Was not a fan of the parking, but also the mattress pad for the sleeper sofa was destroyed, needed to be thrown away. Was insulting they found it acceptable to reuse it.

We had a very disappointing stay due to an unprofessional check-in and lack of basic service. We arrived at 11:45 PM and waited outside the front door for about four minutes while the front-desk attendant continued talking with colleagues instead of opening the door or helping us. When I asked about accessible/disabled parking she said there wasn’t any and that we would need to pay for parking — a charge that was not shown on our Booking reservation. Our room was not ready and, despite the reservation being for four adults, we were not given an appropriate room. I called for extra pillows, blankets, and a sheet and waited a long time; I eventually fell asleep on the couch because service never arrived. In the morning we also found a bag with pillows and blanket left behind our door without any notification. Overall, the staff’s inattentive and dismissive behavior, unclear parking policy, and slow room service made this stay frustrating. I hope management addresses these issue better check-in procedures, clearer parking information, and improved responsiveness would make a big difference. I cannot recommend this hotel in its current condition.

The staff members are outstanding, friendly, and helpful. Everything is very clean. The appliances worked well, as did the laundry room machines. We loved the spacious and comfortable courtyard area by the pool. Lots of good food for breakfast with room to spread out. We'd definitely return.

Breakfast was nothing special for me. Not enough healthy choice. Too many sweet taste, not enough savoury. The shower is not senior friendly. Again, it is too dangerous for old people. It's a modern shower, the shower is far away from the hand handle, and the tiles are flat no foot prevention. It's slippery for showering.

I love the location, and the outdoor amenities, and the convenience Of the kitchen in the rooms, and the comfortable bed and living area The air didn’t work, and I remembered last year when I stayed at this property it didn’t work, I phoned ahead of time to see if it was working and the staff said yes, and the hot water in the shower didn’t work well at all. And I had a difficult time checking in, it took over 45 minutes to get checked in because the system didn’t show that it was paid in advance, and then they found it.

We came here for a music festival. This hotel was very convenient to Rose Bowl shuttle bus just across the street. It had great variety for breakfast and location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Will stay here again.

We were there right after the huge Eaton fire,the smell of smoke was everywhere still,the pool and hot tub was shut down,It would be unfair for me to be too judgmental given the circumstances.The breakfast was very good.

Amazed that the hotel did not refund our money. We know that it was non-refundable but there are wildfires literally around the corner. Also, when we asked for a refund, we were told we'd get a response in 24 hours. We never received a response.

The hotel is centrally located in Old Pasadena and it's easy to walk to all the bars, restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great! We were not told that the gym would be closed. If we'd known, we would have booked another hotel. On our third day, the cleaners came in and threw away some of our personal stuff, including notes that our daughter had made for her homework and left on the bedside table. We told staff at Reception and they couldn't care less. That was shocking. Breakfast was not great. They use individually wrapped plastic cutlery, and most choices are unhealthy and tasteless. Worst of all, the hotel charged us even though we had prepaid our room. Who knows how long it will take to get our money back...

Thermometer didn’t work in the room. Called front desk and they just said ok and they’d check on it. No one ever came to check on it. Air conditioning wouldn’t turn off and nights were chilly. Next day told them again at front desk and they said they’d send someone. Again no one came. Asked for extra blankets. Housekeeping actually did provide those.

The stupid metal posts outside the main entrance that you have to run into when pulling up to reservations.. right in the walkway that are painted white instead of yellow.. hazard alert! How many guests have crashed into them or walked Right into them! Sorry, parking sucks!

NS I was moved to the Marriott Coutyyard across the steer because they said they were full. I reserved well in advance. This is not what I paid for. I was ripped off and deceived and should get a full refund.

I was offered a portable a/c unit at check-in. I waited an hour for the set up. Then the fire alarm in my 3rd floor room kept going off, while smoke billowed from a 5th floor open window. Then the parking fee was adjusted from $35/day to only $25.00.

The a/c is still out! A portable is in the room with a hose leading out the window. On the freeway side so a bit noisier, but that becomes background noise.

Location was easily accessible to freeways as I had several appointments in the area during my stay. Many good restaurants nearby. Safe area for walking. Air conditioning was not functional during my stay. I was too tired after a long drive to change hotels. The hotel offered a discount due to the problem however as of this writing the discount has not made it to my credit card for my prepaid room. The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant.

Breakfast was covered in the stay but was not up to the mark as we had in other Marriotts. Most of the time food was not refilled. Even though we waited for 15 mins. Someone spilled Coffee big time and we reported at reception as no staff was in the breakfast. No one came for 10 mins to clean this. This was on Sunday 8 AM.

The room needs to be strictly checked out at 12:00pm. The door key is immediately disabled after that. We have to make sure one person is in room to keep the door open while moving our stuff to the car. I had good experience in other resident Inn before. This is completely opposite!!! Not recommended it at all!

I had stayed at this hotel many times previously, but first time since 2020. Marriott has really let this hotel go. At check-in I was told they were giving me an ADA room to give me "more space." I asked if there was any reason I wouldn't want it, and he said "no, everything is the same, just the furniture is reconfigured to give more space." Well, when I took a shower shortly after I found a big problem - the accessible shower was designed so poorly that the water flooded the whole bathroom up to the toilet area (VERY narrow shower and the ADA seats/rails take up most of the area. And there is no curb to stop the water flow). Really uncomfortable for those without ADA needs. Then I realized that the AC was faulty and couldn't get very cool (it was a warm night). So I called down to ask if I could move to a regular room. And that's when the clerk admitted he lied to me about the room - he said the real reason he gave me that room was because all the other available rooms have completely broken ACs. Plus the spa was closed/broken the 3 days I was there, and I was told it had been out of order "for a while." That's an amenity that was part of the draw in booking this place - disappointing that they didn't disclose this fact. So clearly Marriott isn't performing the necessary maintenance to make this property worth visiting. I don't see myself coming back here.

The heavier set lady at the desk was very rude and not helpful at all. Also, prior to checking in it should’ve been mentioned that the ac had went down in all of the rooms😘. We have stayed at this hotel previously on a number of occasions. In the last 6 months it seems that the furnishings and the interior is not as well maintained. The people there are friendly and the breakfast is fair. Honestly their current policy of cleaning room after 4 days of stay is not adequate.

This is a nice hotel with a good location. The breakfast was excellent. A lot of items in our room were broken which was disappointing and the pull out bed was particularly uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our visit. The location is nice. Restaurants are within walking distance. We have a beautiful view of the mountains, however we are right next to the freeway so there is some noise. The couch in our room is showing a lot of wear and will need replacing soon. Breakfast was very good!

The double rooms and double bathrooms are the the living and kitchen was DIVINE! My cousin and I were super comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast too! Tip: put gravy on the eggs!!

The room was HUGE! Bigger than my studio I love in. It had a kitchen with untencils and dish washing items. Full fridge with freezer. Free HOT breakfast with bacon and eggs on the weekends! What a treat. Staff was very friendly too. There is NO ICE MACHINE but we made our own in the room, that was more convenient IMO. Would recommend and will book another Marriot Residence Inn afain

Very comfortable beds, quiet environment despite being completely booked out. Breakfast was good, staff were great. Hot tub was roomy, pool was clean. Lots of food and shopping options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay, 1.5 mile walk to Rose Bowl isn't bad at all and you get to see the gamble house on the way! Other than our room being a tad warm (they got this fixed asap!) Initially, I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I got a room with my window to the street, it was a second floor and I could hear all the noises from the cars. They should include earplugs

I was surpised that the room we got came with a kitchen, weve stayed at a few hotels throughout the year but we never got a kitchen, it may seems like a small amenities to other but we really enjoyed that. We also loved the look of the lobby and the complementary breakfast 😋 . The firepits and laundromat were quite nice too. We will definitely be coming back.

We like this property for many reasons. The later than most (Noon) check out time is especially nice.

The studio suite had an interesting layout that I thought would not work well for my husband and I. In fact it was perfect. The bed is not separated from the main room but having it tucked in the corner allowed my husband to get up and work in the living area while I blissfully slept in. That being said, request a room that does not face the main road and bring earplugs just in case because our room was incredibly noisy!

Room was very clean and nicely set up and equipped. Had an issue with no air conditioning in room. Was told they were having issues with their air conditioning and was offered a fan. Seems like it was an ongoing issue. Fortunately, it was not that hot, but if it had been, it would have been a big problem. Lots of noise from road made opening windows a problem. Expected better.

Beautiful hotel, has a kitchen, spacious and beautiful outside seating

I loved that there were kitchen appliances in the room, really loved the dish soap and scrub mommy/daddy to use- very unique and it made my day, and also the 24/7 convenient store down in the lobby. Breakfast was phenomenal and loved every bit of my stay!! Friendly, amazing, and efficient staff, great company overall.

Do not forget there is no maid service the first 5 days.

My check in was at 3 however there was a huge inconvenience and I wasn’t able to check in until almost 8 and after been told it would only be 20 more min multiple times, I had to use the bathroom lobby to get ready for my event. I wasn’t given a discount for any of the inconvenience.

Really enjoyed close proximity to highway and old town, however it was very inconvenient that during my entire stay the elevator to the parking was inoperable and I had to walk with luggage/ bags down to the parking garage. And then only one of the main elevators in building worked. Overall it was “$219” a night. Which at the end it was $282 with taxes and hidden CA fees, and daily $25 parking rate.

Nice hotel with good hot breakfast, nice outdoor area with pool and whirlpool. Had fire pits and BBQ area. Great location to walk to south Pasadena restaurants and stores. Great location to hop on/off freeways.

Property was clean unfortunately one of the elevators was broken. It took some time to get down/up to our room. The stairs to get to the 3rd floor wasnt as convenient since i have a weakened knee. Otherwise, place was nice and staff friendly.

Parking is a little challenging especially if you have to use the room key to get out. The parking should be free. $25 per day is too much.

At 4am I discovered there was no soap or shampoo in my room. I went to the front desk where the person manning it was hiding from a man standing outside the locked front door. When I asked for soap and shampoo they reacted as if I was speaking Martian, wanted me to wait for the Front desk person to return. Told me the soap and shampoo were located in a mount under the shower head. When I said there was neither soap nor shampoo in the mount, they didn't believe me. It wasn't until I raised my voice that the this person opened a drawer and grabbed a wrapped soap bar and a single container of shampoo. So much for hospitality.
