All excellent especially the generous and kind valet staff, but I had difficulty getting room service--never did and went to restaurant to get take out which took a long time and when I go it was cold and not very good.

The hotel offers valet parking only, but there is a public parking garage located directly behind the property that provides self-parking at a slightly lower cost. During my stay, I was told—more than once—that this garage did not offer in-and-out privileges, which is not accurate. Having stayed here before, I knew this wasn’t the case and even asked directly to confirm, yet the staff continued to insist it wasn’t an option. I do expect honest and accurate information so I can make an informed choice. Aside from this issue, everything else about the stay was great—but this left a negative impression.

Location Tv wasn’t working when we checked in, the elevator stopped working . And the refrigerator wasn’t working properly.

Last minute stay in Los Angela’s ,found this hotel in Pasadena . It is within walkkng distance to old town with tons of stores , restaurants and movie theater. There is also a few cafe’s and Starbucks . Good night life on the weekends .

These hotel elevator/stair experiences were less than okay: 1) elevators were unreliable - didn’t take us to our correct floor twice, another time we were stuck between floors & used emergency call button. 2) north ground floor stairwell door was unable to open from exterior with our room key or even hotel maintenance key fob from outside; maintenance fixed this by next day🙂 3) inside this same north stairwell door sign reads “emergency exit - alarm will sound”, so we climbed back upstairs & used south stairs by pool. Staff told us alarm does NOT SOUND, so then we used east stairs for rest of our stay. 4) During “pool closed” hours we weren’t able to exit south stairs through hotel because room key didn’t open ground floor exterior entrance when pool is closed. If elevators weren’t usable (earthquake, hotel fire…), then hotel guests & staff using south stairs would be trapped in pool area during “pool closed” hours

They should do this place. It is in a prime location, it is called the Hilton, yet is old, dusty, and outdated. My girlfriend and I debated on how old the carpet was. We are pretty sure it’s older than one of us. Which is more than a few decades. Old, stained, dusty carpet. They should not be allowed to make money from the establishment. I tipped the valet because they were pretty quick each time, but I would advise them not to touch the controls or settings either the control panel or steering wheel. It is something I would expect from a child, but not an adult whose job it is to just park the car. I also wonder if these Expedia reviews are even real.

People on the floor were smoking pot, which crept into the room. Asked the hotel for a new room, which they said they could do, but then the 9th floor has a fire sprinkler issue, and that got changed. New room wasn't ready until after 9 pm that night. They lost my luggage that was in my original room, but got moved and that took a minute to find. The first trip there was pleasant (maybe a 5). This trip was a nightmare (-2). The other challenge is the parking. While there is parking available, there are no in & out privileges unless you valet, which then you have the tip. So, if you park and need to come and go, plan to spend $75+ a day.

Room keys were finicky, it was a struggle to get them to scan the card reader correctly. The arrangement of the room may have been a little dark with not enough lamps to cover the room. Otherwise, everything was pretty reasonable - clean room, good service, and good location.

Very nice hotel in a nice part of Pasadena. The staff was warm and attentive. I had some business to handle when I stayed there and they were very helpful in allowing me to print documents. etc. The restaurant was good and open for the better part of the day and evening.

Everything was great except the location of our room. Avoid room 211 because all of the sounds from the lobby, restaurant, and bar come straight into the room. We could hear talking (laughing and full conversations), alarms going off, and employees rolling carts around as if all the action was in the room with us. It's unnecessary for there to be an open area with a railing as the view is just people eating and drinking below you. Very weird and kinda creepy design choice but also makes it hard to sleep. If I ever stay again I will just avoid the 2nd floor to be safe.

Also, breakfast is not included even though it stated it's included on the website.

Liked that they had a Starbucks on site. They also had a lobby bar/restaurant but cannot comment as did not eat there. They had a smaller but nice pool area. Beds were comfortable and internet access was great. Had a pleasant experience and would stay again.

I paid extra to have a balcony to overlook the mountains. The room had stains on the carpet, smelled musty and the balcony was located about all the ac units for the building… the noise was so terrible that I couldn’t even have the doors open. We changed rooms and they moved us to another room that faced the mountain still above an ac unit so still slightly loud but not as bad as our first room. The balcony had dirty chairs, table, the carpet was gross you should seriously replace it or just remove it.

What a wonderful stay in beautiful Pasadena downtown. I enjoyed walking to restaurants and the Rose Bowl (2 mi). The best part of the stay was the privilege of playing the lovely grand piano in the lobby of the conference rooms.

During our stay, we had a minor issue with part of the room. I brought it to their attention, and they responded immediately and professionally. It was handled quickly and with care, which really showed how committed they are to guest satisfaction. It wasn’t just great service…it was heartfelt hospitality. We felt like more than just guests; we felt like valued individuals. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place that goes beyond expectations.

The hotel staff, EXTREMELY KIND. Appears the hotel was short on housekeeping staff, can't blame them with all the horrible ICE activity. The SUPER KIND and caring STAFF MADE UP for the housekeeping service.

Property all around good for a one night stay, not really a lot to do in walking distance but good value for LA area hotel. Downside was room was advertised as having 2 queen beds, but actually had 2 double beds. Also weird that bathroom door was a sliding glass door with no lock

Room cleaning was bad as the room was not cleaned the first day when we were there. The attitude and the way they handled the issue from the front desk manager is very bad though the manager is much better when checked out.

I had a three day stay over a weekend. Easy walk to Colorado and many businesses and restaurants. Friendly staff. Gym was very well equipped. WiFi was a little on the slow side. Room was large, comfortable, and clean. All in all, a good stay. Would recommend.

Overall was a nice stay. Original girl at the front desk was short on patience. All the others at front desk were very accommodating. Housekeeping were exceptional! Had work to do later in the evening, wished coffee or a hot beverage was available. Was told I could walk to the mall 2 blocks to a Starbucks. Ummm my right leg doesn’t work! I’m disabled and considered a fall risk. I just made coffee in my room. Front desk was kind enough to give me more coffee packets.

Everything was just ok. Problem was no desk chair. Just an odd clunky chair that was uncomfortable and not adjustable.

We came for a convention. We slept so good. This hotel has everything. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to the Old town Pasadena. We had a nice time.

Everything was good. However, hotel phone was hacked that allowed hackers call in the guest rooms pretending from hotel receptionist offering refund. Reception acknowledged that it has happened also a week ago. Is Hilton doing anything?
