Clean a room just did trash

The first room they put me in air conditioner did not work and there was a big hole in the wall.

luckily my room was clean. however, the smoke alarm was fully disconnected even though it was a non smoking room. the mattress and pillows were very hard and the blankets were thin and too small for the bed. i was not expecting any kind of luxury while staying at a super 8 motel, but the check in experience of this place was so off putting i will not be staying in any super 8 motel again.

Parking was simple and easy access to our room for packing/unpacking purposes. The sweet person at the front desk with double nostril piercings was absolutely amazing and upgraded our room to a never been smoked in room upon hearing an infant was accompanied. We tried to get breakfast at 7am-- they have breakfast 6am-9am, but there was none set out, we were able to recieve breakfast at 7:30am next checked, options were very limited.

The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain right like it was slightly clogged.

Easy entry and exit when coming and going. Room was clean and everything in its place. Parking was tight for a larger vehicle. The outside could use a coat of paint especially the stairs. There were no downstairs rooms available, and it wasn’t easy for an older person like me to go up and down stairs. Stairs were not well lit.

Based on the cleanliness of room, we didn’t stay for breakfast. Seemed fairly kept up and well lit outside though.

Quite in curious people nice place to stay

We just needed a clean room for the night. This hotel was close to what we needed and there were plenty of amenities nearby to make it a great hotel and experience.

First room had no heat so they put us in different room couldn't get in with key card they said ya they have that problem and wanted us to leave our door open if we went anywhere and they had bed bugs

Noisy heater

First disappointment. The air conditioning was running but was not adjusting properly when heat was required. It seemed that the temp went to auto air at night and we needed heat bc of the sliding glass door air leaks. Second disappointment. Also the outside of the property was not swept. leaves and mud were in one corner where we had to walk outside to lobby which could have caused a slipping accident. The check in reception was ok. Could have been more pleased we were staying. 'Enjoy your stay' more sincere. The next day check out we witnessed a guest breakdown crying bc of cold and incompassionate response by clerk to her dog being in lobby during breakfast hours. Everything was so routine it didnt seem special And no honey for tea

The space in the rooms was really good. The amenities were decent. Would definitely stay here again. There wasn't really anything I didn't like. Everything was clean and accommodating.

Everything was great, breakfast was good, just no soap in the room to wash hands.

One room the air didn't work and the toilet was stopped up

The floors were very dirty and gritty. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. The breakfast was very disappointing.

Good location and great value Needed swept. It looked like a dog hair gathered near bathroom door and something sticky still on night stand.

Rooms were very clean. Typically in an older motel like this there would be a “smell” but that was not the case. It’s been nicely remodeled. The girl at check in was less than friendly. Borderline rude. Couldn’t smile or even welcome us or thank us for coming. The pillows were hard.

Room was 50 degrees when I walked in. Took hours for the heater to warm it up to a normal temperature, and the heater was very loud. You can also hear other doors closing throughout the night making it hard to sleep. Smoke alarm was detached from the ceiling and laying on the bed upon arrival. Tv remote did not work. However, staff was very nice and parking was easy, and the room seemed decently clean.

There was a hole in the wall. Something melted on the iron. Room has gotten progressively worse over the last few stays. I was double charged for the room and had to wait several days for the reimbursement.

I booked a room for Monday night the 15th. I even sent him a copy of my drivers license paid for the room through Exspedia and I left a message that I wouldn’t be there to 11:30 PM at night. I got there at 15 after 11 PM and nobody would answer the window the door nothing I rang the bell i set outside for 30 minutes. You can look at the camera. I told her that and nobody would come. I had to call a taxi to take me 20 miles away home and they still Charge me $80 for the night and I did not even check in. Worst experience I ever had I need a refund or a refund for a room something

The room was excellent. very clean. This was the second time we stayed at this motel. Breakfast is light years beyond what we had a few months ago.

It is located in a safe neighborhood, an assisted living facility on one side and a church across the street. It was a little further to drive for food, but otherwise, we had a nice stay. Highly recommend.

Location was good for our route of travel, price of room was too expensive for the condition of the hotel. Rooms were not horrible but not as clean and updated as they should be for the price we paid.

The price was right, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient, but the hotel overall was tired and run down. There were stains on the comforters and chair in the room, and she sheets looked worn out. The streaky mirror made me wonder what else had been poorly cleaned in the room.

What a wonderful time I had. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was nice, the area was quiet and there was plenty of convenient parking. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Paragould.

I loved staying at your hotel. The entrance is beautiful and very welcoming. The lady that was working check in was very friendly and very helpful on recommending an excellent restaurant after our long drive. The room was very clean and the bed was absolutely the best hotel bed I have ever slept on. I will definitely be staying again anytime I am down there. Highly recommend staying here.

Was told when I first checked in that they could not rent me a room because I lived within a 60 mile radius even though I had stayed at this location several times in the past. I explained my situation to the lady and was told she would make a note and let me rent a room. I was in the room alone and left no mess and nothing was destroyed so I'm not sure what the issue was.

A tornado was coming though the area. I want to the lobby area to stay. I was told I had go back to my room. The lobby was only open to checking in guests in only. They don't Care about guests safety at all. There was no plan or anything to keep guests stay during weather like this. They don't care

Well it was a 2 story hotel with no elevators..i have a hard time with stairs so i was kinda stuck in room when we arrived...there was no mention of no elevator or wouldnt have stayed..the breakfast what there was,was horrible.they had 2 different cerals..they had one apple and a danish.. the fruit juice was so tart...i woulnt ever go there again

Although they say the property was recently revamped, it was not! It was the nastiest hotel I have ever been in in my life. I am 50! That’s 50 years of never having been in such a nasty hotel. If I could give negative stars, I would!

Other than the bathroom tub being dirty and full of scum that was disgusting, but over all the room was great. Thank you. The maid needs to do a better job.

Bed was comfy, TV & AC worked as should. Shower had good pressure & it was within walking distance of Walmart. The manager was on sight & knowledgeable & polite. If ever in Paragould again, this is where I'll stay.

When I arrive to check in the girl at front desk said I didn’t have a reservation .i waited outside for 20 min till she find my reservation and to come back and say there was no reservation under my name I asked her and showed my reservation number that was given to me when i reserved the room she started she couldn’t find and and i asked her can i speak to a manger was told by her they was on vacation but she was talking to the manager on the phone but I couldn’t speak to them ..she canceled my reservation without my notice and she said i had to get another room elsewhere ..so I reserved another room else where where the hotel was very poor run with bed bug and no working air and a bad smell once u walked in the hotel ..I will never go to this hotel and make a reservation to be told they couldn’t find my reservation..never got a call back from hotel manager . I will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel after I was treated very bad ..hotel manager should be care who they hire ..I give this hotel a bad service and no recommendation no one has try to make this right nor hotel manager or hotel.com

Just had a facelift.

The mirror in the room was filthy, the floors were very dirty as our socks were filthy after walking from bed to bathroom. No tissue in the room.

Got held overnight on business. Checked reviews and took a chance. My stay was wonderful :) Check-In was quick and I had a great conversation with the front desk receptionist who was an absolute pleasure to speak with. My room was super nice with all amenities I would need. It was clean, newly remodeled but best of all quiet which is so important after long hours on the road working. I'll certainly be staying again when in town. The price was super reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area.

When I arrived at the motel I was treated like a criminal.The manager Brandi charged me $140 more cash on top of the $161I paid online. She made a point to tell me that the rooms had a sensor in the room to tell them if anyone smokes in the room after telling me it was a non smoking room. I made sure she knew that I am one that follows the rules. There was no pool and they were working on the stairs by our room so we had to walk from one end of the building to the other end carrying my stuff.

Well, I couldn’t stay stay there because my ID showed that I lived in that city which I’m not sure why you’re not not allowed to rent a room from the city. I moved away several months ago and I came back for a visit to family, but I wasn’t able to stay there because my license has not been changed yet and had to prove just to me so I drove all the way there about four hours and had no place to stay. Luckily I was able to get a room at another place that city

A Super Place to Stay-Folks, for the price point, this is an outstanding value. The AC worked great and the hot water was hot!! My room had been renovated. The self serve breakfast is limited, but great for the price point. It is close to several good places to eat. Easy parking. I would stay again!!

Bathtub was gross and the pillows smelled very musty.

Although the sign out front says new rooms, mine was quite used. Quality of the room was okay, bed was comfortable and staff was good to deal with.

Property was nasty. Staff did not clean rooms daily. Did not provide new towels and did not empty trash. Would not recommend. Refund needed.

The beds are SUPER firm. The toilet was a little annoying, because you had to hold the handle down. The check in crew was really friendly and helpful. I got a little aggrivated checking out. I would probably stay there again, it just wouldnt be a first choice. It wasnt bad, it just wasnt great. Also, make sure to note there is an additional fee for a room deposit of $100

You all surprised me with a $100 deposit when I went to check in. I checked out yesterday morning and don't have my money back yet. It wouldn't have been a problem if I had warning in advance. Maybe it was buried in the fine print. I hope it was worth it, because you've lost my business and my trust.

The lobby was beautiful and the staff was fantastic, our room wasn't clean tv didn't work, remote didn't work, toilet didn't work, the lock was only half way attached to the door.

This property was affordable. The room smelled and I didn't care for that. But the price was less than $100 a night and that's what I needed while traveling through.

This is definitely one we will not be back to and we travel pretty regularly. The atmosphere was just horrible.

Room smelled very musty from water damage or dampness. One pillow was filthy water pressure in the shower was very low. And room next to us was very loud.

Greeted like a smile and welcome. Didn’t like was the toilet was loose like about to fall off the wax ring every time it was sat on. Bolts need tightened or replaced. Great bed and mostly quiet.

Canceled. There was nothing on the site stating they charge a deposit. When we got to the hotel the wanted a $100 deposit. That needs to be on the site page.

Tv did not work. Staff had to attempt 3 different remotes before it worked then had to use 2 separate remotes to get it to turn on/off and adjust volume and a different one to change channels. Pillows were too hard to sleep on. Had to pay a $100 damage deposit which I’m not sure has yet been credited to our bank acct.

Swimming pool has been filled in with concrete. Good water pressure, and good pressure. Still not worth $115 a night

Cons: Usually when I stay in a motel (and I do quite often), housekeeping will come in on the second day, make the bed, empty the trash, bring fresh linens, etc. As far as I can tell, housekeeping never even glanced at the room while I was out. There was no TV guide, phone book, notepad, or pen available, nor was I offered any of those things. The bed was still unmade when I came back last night at 10 p.m. after being gone for 14 hours. No fresh towels, no empty trash. I can't comment on breakfast because I don't eat breakfast. I feel that when I stay at a motel, I am paying for housekeeping to freshen up the room on the second day, IF I am staying more than one night. In this case, I stayed 2 nights while attending a conference in the area. Oh, these are a couple very minor annoyances, but the bathroom needed to be swept, and there was visible dust chair legs, and one of the legs on the table was beginning to list to one side pretty good.

Parking lot was littered and definitely needed cleaning.

If you're not looking to spend an arm & leg on a nice hotel then this is your place! There wasn't much that I didnt like to be honest. Felt at "home" and safe. It was very quiet minus usual traffic (which wasn't bad at all). Not too far from town. Room and bed was clean and comfy. The gals that were working did a good job too!

Got locked out of my room all day and couldn’t get an employee to assist us. Meanwhile they were hiding in the side room where we could clearly see them. Meanwhile all our warm clothes and medicine was locked in the room which we couldn’t get into

The carpet has very bad stains right at the door, and the breakfast was non-existent.
