our staycation here was perfect. we needed a little getaway from home and this was exactly what we needed. breakfast buffet was great for it being free. king suite was cozy and spacious. would def stay here again and would recommend to others.

This is by far my favorite place to stay when Im in town. It's perfect for couples, friends, families,or just a solo getaway. The rooms are big and clean with a kitchen and dishwasher. The beds are comfy. You cant find a better breakfast anywhere ( and its free)! The staff is always super helpful and amicable. I cant think of one negative, highly recommend!

Everything about this property exceeds expectations. Including breakfasts. The only thing I can think of would be to have at least the water remain open and available after breakfast for the blistering AZ heat.

Unable to take advantage of the breakfast due to distance of the rooms and the lobby. Staff kept calling and waking me up. Not welcoming area

Staff was more concerned with the incidental deposit than with the comfort of the guest. When trying to add an additional day they woke me up to ask for another card to redo paperwork and reissue room cards. While putting things in my vehicle I was locked out of the room with my pocket book and cell phone still inside the room! Will never return if they paid me! Would prefer a refund.

The separation of rooms

First stay with Sonesta. I found the property to be clean, in a great location, and suite ammenities to be very useful during our visit. The front desk was very helpful. I will definately stay there again.

The TV lacked cable. That's the only thing. The Breakfast was outstanding and actually hot . So a big plus, my highlight was meeting a long time Resident Harvey Cox. The Staff was outstanding from check in t check out.

Our only complaints: 1. The tap water would not get colder than lukewarm. We couldn’t take a shower cool enough to cool off or get cold tap water to drink. The full size fridge had an ice maker though so that helped. Maybe most hotels have this problem in AZ when it’s over 90°? 2. We stayed for three nights and room service never once came to even pick up dirty towels or empty trash. We saw them working throughout the day when we were at the pool, but there are no elevators and they never came to our room on the second level. There were magnets to put on the door if you DIDN’T want them to come in, which we didn’t use, but not one to put up if you did want service. Overall, it is a great value for what you get and I would recommend.

The place is well maintained, the only thing to keep in mind is there is no elevator.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good location, spacious room. We enjoyed our stay. The room facing the swimming pool can be noisy. Breakfast really lacked fruits and vegetables (also it would be great to have actual forks, spoons, knives and plates, everything was plastic.)

The rooms are large (studio apt size) and have a fully furnished kitchen. The breakfast was pretty decent for free & my teens enjoyed the pool. Good location for our needs (Medieval Times & aquarium). I didnt like paying for parking when its uncovered, self park, regular apt complex parking.

All was good clean room, breakfast ,staff definitely 10 of 10 I'm I'm planing stay there again in the future.

The breakfast was good and enjoyed everything on the menu. Staff was great. Pool was good we used everything they offered.

Really disappointed in the thermostat in our room. Locking it at 75 when it didn’t function well in the first place was frustrating. Place was showing signs of wear and not the cleanest. It served the purpose of our visit but was noticeably worse than the last time we stayed there 3 years ago.

Great location near lots of dining and shopping options. Central Scottsdale made it convenient. William at front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The rest of the staff were helpful too. I cannot give 5 stars for 2 reasons though: there is no elevator. Also the back part of property felt unsafe for solo travelers. Everything else was enjoyable, so I do recommend.

Love the large rooms. Staff is always friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. We have stayed at this location several times.

I missed breakfast which closed at 9:00 AM, but still the concierge got me some food to eat and the staff turned back on the juice maker and I was allowed to sit in the area they had already close and cleaned. So I felt they went out of their way to take care of me. Thank you staff

The building was clean and really good complementary breakfast. However, the suite had a outdated sofa bed that was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Not really a second bed for the price. The wifi kept going down.

This is an excellent smaller property in the heart of central Scottsdale within walking distance to many local amenities and fabulous restaurants. All at a reasonable price in comparison to resorts while still maintaining the views of Camelback Mtn. Very well-maintained property, spacious rooms that have all amenities like a studio apartment. Excellent staff! 1st time there and will recommend to others interested in a great accommodation.

I was doing a staycation with my 17 1/2 year dog to have our last days together. It’s not the fanciest place but really clean and the staff is awesome! I especially want to thank William at the front desk for all his help! I would definitely recommend this hotel for single traveler’s. It’s very safe and a great price and location. Could have had a little more grass for the pets.

The desk staff was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Both bathroom faucets were extremely difficult to turn on and the water never got hot, barely luke warm. Kitchen water also did not get HOT. Couch was terribly uncomfortable. No control of a/c temp, we were cold when watching TV and had to cover up with a blanket.

Sonesta was clean, comfortable, great location next to many restaurants and shopping and overall a great stay for two days.

The mattress was worn out. Bathroom floor vinyl had cigarette burns all over. A gob of hair on th bathroom floor.

The rooms are huge, comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. Access to the rooms was so easy and there is plenty of parking close to the rooms. The breakfast menu changed each day. The location is perfect for visiting Papago Park and all it's sights. Also easy to get to and from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, beautiful and clean room - very spacious! The bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable - tough to sleep well. A comfy bed would make this a solid 10/10.

Our room was great! Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding. Room was clean and quiet. We ate at the breakfast, and it was very good with many options. Pool and hot tub clean. Outdoor grill area was very nice and covered from the AZ sun. We did not use the exercise room. Parking was never a problem and we were always able to park near the entrance to our room. We will definitely stay again.

The breakfast was very good. Location was close to a friend who we were visiting in Scottsdale. Call in for early arival was difficult. Prompt said call morning of arrival which we did and were again told to call the morning we arrive.

I have to travel to Arizona often, and this is a reasonably priced option for long-term stays. The staff is delightful. I love the fact that they have a laundry room that's 24 hours. Breakfast is included. They have all sorts of an amenities that you would expect at more expensive hotel chains. The location of this Sonesta is ideal because you're within walking distance to virtually everything you need from groceries to bars and restaurants, to drugstores, etc..

We enjoyed the room and the space. It was so cold when we first entered the room. It took some time to heat up the room. There were some places that weren't super clean on the floor or in corners, but the sheets, sinks, counters, tubs, etc were clean!

Great staff, very pleasant and courteous, allowed us early check in which was great due to wife's recent surgery. Breakfast bar was not your typical bagel and muffins, actually had good food. The traffic noise wasn't really bad for being on Scottsdale Rd

Our stay at Sonesta Suites was very comfortable and enjoyable! The bed was amazingly comfy and the room was quiet and peaceful. Also, the breakfast had a great variety of items to choose from. This has been one of our favorite places to stay at a great price!

I have no idea who left them, but let me tell you about the breakfast. A small pan of some type of eggs, not real eggs. Another small container on half cold potatoes and have rock hard sausage patties. A little section for breads and pastries, which is toast, a few bagels and one type of small muffin. Tin of oatmeal, which is what I ate each day, because I mean, you can’t really mess up oatmeal. They did have a decent selection of things you could add to it. They told me they had a yogurt bar. Well, it was a cold container containing a few small containers of yogurt. And this pancake maker that automatically makes 2 small pancakes. I’m not a huge breakfast eater, but my husband is, and he seriously could not even tolerate breakfast. We had the pool to ourselves, which was great. And the room spacious. Last year we stayed at the Hyatt House, and so regret not staying there again, but their oool was so cold last year, even in 110 degree heat that we chose another location. This location is not near old town at all! We had to Uber to everything. They do have a Trader Joe’s and Walgreens within walking distance and a few places to eat, so not terrible, just not great. If you want a fantastic breakfast and this is your price range, go to Hyatt House instead. It was amazing!

Easily one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. My only suggestion is (and this goes for all Sonesta's as I’ve stayed in others that have had the same issue) the blackout curtains do not wrap around the windows completely so light shines in around all sides and lights up the rooms in the morning. It’s the only area where I’ve noticed that Sonesta falls short. Otherwise, they’re about as good as it gets.

We had an excellent stay. From the first day, especially William, the front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful. William helped me get a dress to a cleaner and gave my husband and I a wonderful Anniversary gift. The breakfast was delicious and fresh daily. We highly recommend this place.

I had a great stay! Quiet, clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The structure was older but the furnishings were modern and cabinets were new. The bathroom and closets were clean but could tell were from older design and showed age. Very convenient location. Free breakfast offered a good selection. The fitness center was closed which led me to have to go off property. I was disappointed as I did not see any communication of it being unavailable during the stay. Overall was a great choice for considering all it offered and low cost of stay.

I absolutly loved my stay here. Everyone was so nice, from management to housekeeping, they were all super accommodating and kind. The room was really comfy and the perfect size, it was stocked with everything I needed like pots,pans, can opener, etc. The breakfast was yummy with all sorts of choices and a cool pancake machine. The price was a deal and the location is super with Old Town Scottsdale just down the road ( and the casino only 7 miles away). I will be staying here again when I'm in the area.

Room and property were very clean, quiet, and safe. It was nice having a full sized fridge and kitchen area. Complimentary breakfast was amazing and definitely worth the value along with free parking.

We found the room a bit dark. Maybe a few more lights in the living room would help.

It was absolutely wonderful.. an amazing place to stay

I meant to stay one night but ended up staying for a whole week. The location is great, like 2 mins from old town scottsdale ( and only a few miles from the casino too). The staff was so great. Everyone I dealt with from management to housekeeping had a smile and went above and beyond. The rooms are big and the bed was comfy. The price was super affordable plus you get an awesome breakfast for free every morning, it even has a cute little pancake making machine. Totally would recommend; this is my new favorite place to stay when I come into town.

I used this stay to look for a house and move to PHX area; very nice property, quiet, clean, and close to most everything.

Upon check-in, we encountered a minor issue with the TV, but the front desk and manager responded immediately and had it fixed right away, which I truly appreciated. However, the disappointment began with the limited entertainment options—only basic cable with 39 channels. For a weeklong stay, the lack of variety made it difficult to relax and unwind in the room after a long day. I also wasn’t able to fully enjoy the pool area. During the cooler hours of the late afternoon and evening—when I would have preferred to swim—there were noticeable floating items in the water, which discouraged me from getting in. As for the hot tub, it naturally remained hot due to the Arizona heat, so that wasn’t an issue on the hotel’s part. Overall, the hospitality and cleanliness were impressive, but the limited in-room entertainment and underwhelming pool experience slightly detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

I called ahead to make sure that I was able to get a room for my father who has mobility issues and they secured a room for us. That was super convenient and the staff was so helpful throughout our stay. Everyone just had the most positive vibes and that was really helpful because it was my first time traveling with my father and it was a little stressful. They really made me feel at home and like I could ask them for anything anytime. The hotel room was spectacular. All the amenities you would need. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 recommend!

My boyfriend and I had quite a bit of luggage so we were lucky to get a room on the first floor as they don’t have any elevators. We got the two bedroom suite which was also lucky because it was at the back of the building and several air conditioners were right outside one of the windows so we were able to move into the other much quieter bedroom room where there were no air conditioners. That was my only complaint. Otherwise loved the space and the large kitchen, etc..

I was delighted with my stay. All of the employees who worked the front desk were very gracious ,hospitable, and accommodating. The studio is lovely as was the supply of dishes, glassware, pots, pans. and utencils. Nothing was forgotten. The staff went above and beyond. What a very pleasant surprise !

Front desk employee was courteous and helpful. He suggested best parking close to the room. He also maintained privacy by not sharing the room number out loud.

I really enjoyed our stay. Only bad thing I can say about the hotel was my room had a smell that seemed like an animal had urinated on the carpet.

My stay here was amazing. I felt right at home as this hotel provides you with all the essentials including dishes you can use to cook. The daily breakfast was delicious. The rooms were the cleanest I’ve been in. It was in a convenient location. The whole staff were so nice and accommodating. I’m definitely coming back here.

Loved the layout of the place, like an apartment. Loved having separate bathrooms for the two bedroom. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. Location was great as well. Bed was very comfortable.

This was our 30th anniversary. We had a great staff greeting. The staff was informative and made it easy for us to find everything we wanted or needed. I recently stay at Sonesta in Scottsdale, for over a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I check in, the Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was very clean and spacious with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. I Highly recommend this Sonesta hotel.

I love this place. Stayed twice for work in Paradise Valley. Will definitely stay again when I am back in Paradise Valley. A little expensive but zero complaints. Great breakfast also.

Everything was great except the walls were paper thin. You can hear people walking in the room above and even people talking outside the room. The price is what makes it good.

Dogs are allowed and the one across the hall from me barked and howled most of one day. When I told the front desk the next day, they did contact the dog’s owner. I was given a handicap unit that I didn’t request, so there was only a non-enclosed waist-high rod for hanging clothes on.

The management and staff are so kind and accommodating. I cant say enough about how wonderful they were. The location is fabulous. Resturants and shoppng. It was clean and the breakfast was fresh and clean. The room was spacious clean and beds were comfortable. We had to be there for a few days so the kitchen , size , and location made it just what we needed.
