The room layout was kind of strange but pretty large comparing to other hotels in the area. The issue was that the cleaning staff did not clean the bathroom at the 2nd night. The bathtub was dirty, so we had to clean it up. The floss and toilet paper were not filled. We did not bother to call as it was near midnight. We were disappointed it was not cleaned even with the high tips we left on the 1st night. Also, we were not explained about breakfast areas and complimentary drinks when we checked in. We found it out when we were checking out.

Room was very nice, no room in the mini fridge for our stuff( had to pull out some of the alcohol til we checked out) we don’t drink so a full fridge of alcohol was not a perk for us.

The hotel is lovely in every way - quiet, super clean, roomy, elegant. We felt like honored guests and enjoyed padding down the hall in our slippers every morning for coffee. Even the balcony overlooking Cowper was wonderful for morning coffee or afternoon wine. Highly recommend!

The El Prado was a lovely hotel to stay while visiting family in Palo Alto. Room was spacious, and had a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and pleasant decor. Location was convenient for walking to restaurants and small shops. There s no restaurant at the hotel, but you can order room service for breakfast, which was very good! I would stay at this property again.

We stayed for a friend's wedding at the hotel. All of the staff from valet, check-in, housekeeping, and the reception servers were great. The room was better than the pictures online made it look. It was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean. We live close enough that it would have been doable to drive home after the wedding reception, but I'm glad we decided to stay. We slept soundly and enjoyed a nice breakfast in bed before returning to normal life. If there's another event that brings me to this part of The Bay, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had breakfast one morning at Blue Bottle which is super close to walk to. Another morning we had breakfast in Menlo Park at Mademoiselle Collette which was delicious. The coffee service on the floor is nice in the mornings to just go out and grab a coffee. Nothing.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the room is beautiful, I loved the fireplace. I also think the staff was exceptional, clean rooms, room service came in early in the day and has done an incredible job. One thing they could improve is coffee machines in each room. Currently don't have that option.

I don’t know if our door leading out to the balcony had gap, but there was a howling all night long, every night that we were there. We were on the top floor in room 411. I actually thought it was an ambulance until I realized when I opened the door, the sound went away when I closed the door it continued. Not sure if there’s a wind tunnel in that back parking lot and it does it in all the rooms, but it was really annoying. For that reason I would not stay there again. We spent $1100 for 3 nights …quite a lot not to sleep well. Our mattress tilted down towards the bathroom. That mattress needs to be replaced.

This hotel is a gem on prime location! Modern luxury setting. Room size is good. So many great restaurants and coffee shops just steps away. 2nd floor library and bar area is perfect place to chat with friends.

Palo Alto Code Art Festival and the Cantor Museum. There are so many great restaurants in the area too! The staff was so kind and helpful and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and Strawberries for our 30th wedding anniversary.

Location ONLY Hotel is a little bit run down. Looks like an old facility that enjoys being on a great location. That is it. Overpaid BIG TIME. The price is crazy for a very so so hotel, AC was noisy, a convention going on eating in the stairs, elevator are 100 years old.

There’s only in room dining available which would’ve been fine, except we were staying with out family in 4 different rooms and we were never able to just come down and have breakfast all together. We like to sit down for breakfast, not have breakfast in the room.

The property is a great boutique hotel. The rooms are large and very pretty and clean. We had a odd smell from the carpet cleaning going on in the hall that made the room smell a bit too. Seemed odd to do it on the weekend. Parking is expensive. The staff is super nice and very helpful. I'd stay here again for sure.

Very nice and cozy hotel. Great rooms and service. Perfect location in Palo Alto. Super clean. Fitness center could be slightly modernized. Overall experience was fantastic.

Gorgeous hotel. Perfect location to attend sports event at Stanford University.

Location is pretty good and walkable to restaurants. It is pretty new and clean. Staffs are friendly as well. I booked one bed room suite room for total 3 people. The downside is our bathroom door is so tight so there is a huge squeezing sound every time when you open the door. I got woke up every time at night when my family went to bathroom. So I couldn’t have a good sleep during our stay and unfortunately I got shingles after back of the trip.

Street side suits were loud and had a lot of construction going on outside. Air con unit is older design unit and is very loud.
