We have stayed at Spoke and Vine before and will likely stay again. We love the walkability to downtown and some wineries. There is good hiking and natural beauty all around. Guests should know that there is not space in the room to have a table and chairs. But you can easily eat your breakfast and take-out in the lobby during opening hours.

The breakfast was just right—featuring excellent local coffee, fresh fruit, granola, and yogurt. The only thing I wish the room had was a suitcase stand, which would’ve added a bit more convenience. The walkable proximity to downtown Palisade and its restaurants was a major plus. I’d definitely stay here again. The staff were amazing, and Kate in particular was incredibly helpful and welcoming.

The room was nice. My only issue was that only one side of the bed had a place to store personal items. I put my things on the floor. The shower worked great but there was no lotion. I bring my own, but it’s nice to have it in the bathroom. The staff was great and it was nice to have breakfast in the room. Great location too.

Walking distance to downtown; friendly and communicative staff; modern, cute rooms; coffee service in the mornings; roomy bathroom; quiet property; outdoor sitting area. Our only concern was the mattress was not supportive and rather flimsy and bright outdoor lighting came through the window at night around the shade so we couldn’t get the room dark for sleeping. There wasn’t enough room to sit anywhere for coffee or breakfast within the room except the bed, which wasn’t ideal (no table & chairs). However, the seating at the office and outdoor patio area worked out well bec we had great weather.

I have been staying at the Spoke and Vine for the last year and a half every time I come to Palisade (I live in Moab) and love everything about this hidden gem! Though small, the rooms are well appointed, always super clean and the the mattresses are very comfortable. They are also dog friendly and only charge a $25 fee (more than reasonable). There is an adorable bar on site which offers some the same high quality margaritas as the local restaurant Fidel's (same owners), and the staff is always really welcoming. Last but not least - this is a perfect location for exploring Palisade and its environs. It's a 10 minute walk into town.

This is a quaint place but more of a $75 hotel than a $130 hotel. The room is SMALL! Pet friendly but maybe that explains the wet dog smell in the rooms and in the lobby. Stay here if you can pay 60-75. Stay some where else if it’s more than that.

Upon initially arriving at the premises, one might be forgiven for thinking that this was yet another traditional and almost always run-down American motel structure—something we like to call a “Norman Bates Motel!” However that moment of trepidation is quickly dispelled when realizing that everything about this Motel has been thoroughly and lovingly updated and upgraded. Gone are the threadbare carpets, creaky beds with questionable linens, and replaced by new flooring, high quality and comfortable beds with tasteful coverings, furnishings both artful and functional and a modern and quiet AC system. Entry to one’s room is obtained via keyless entry pad, the codes for which are emailed out on the day of arrival, along with many other welcome notes in anticipation of arrival. Thus though there’s no need to visit the motel office to check in, we recommend you do, as there you will find a delightful cocktail bar that also sells local wines and you will get to meet and chat with the wonderful staff as well! Palisade itself is a great place to visit, removed from the hustle and bustle of the larger Grand Junction just up the road, and there are a number of great restaurants to chose from.

It’s a nice, quiet little place with a view of the snow-dusted plateau in the near distance. There is a major street nearby, but in this sleepy town there’s not lots of traffic. So it was tranquil. They have a big old cottonwood (?) tree in the parking lot whose rustling leaves sound like a brook. And the rooms are clean and tidy if small. The owners obviously want it to be a special getaway, and they’ve included a pretty comprehensive list of bicycling adventure suggestions in their welcome packet. The rooms have lots of nice personal touches by the owners. You can tell they care.

I have heard how great this motel is for many years. Finally was able to plan in advance and book a room during the Colorado Winefest. Was not disappointed! From the reservation to checking out, everything was super easy. Due to COVID, I didn't have a lot of interaction with employees, but the few times I did, I was impressed with how helpful and friendly they were. The property is super cute, yet retains it's cool vintage vibe. Super clean, very clever remodeling. We were really comfortable and happy there.
