I stayed for a few days and while the room was outdated, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. I would stay there again when visiting my family. It was nice to have a working refrigerator.

Much of the interior in the room needs upkeep or upgrades. Multiple (at least two (2)) broken, floppy lamp shades, shower handle flopping in the wall, yellow stains on bathroom walls. No non-slip material on shower floor. VERY slippery and dangerous. Beds were nice, linens seemed to clean enough.

The hotel was great, staff was very friendly. Didn’t have no issues. It’s an older hotel so I wasn’t expecting much but we were only staying one night. Very worth every penny!
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and responsive and the property was clean, quiet, and safe. I had a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to book another stay at the Guest Lodge.

Folks were nice and property while maybe aged was nonetheless very clean and well maintained.

Over all I had a pleasant 3 night stay. Staff was courteous and friendly. This is my second stay in 3 yrs and no complaints. Room was clean and had a pleasant smell. Plenty of tv channels. Wifi could use a speed upgrade.
- 3/5
Check in was unattended and we had to wait 20 minutes for staff to arrive to check us in.
- 3/5
I didn’t like the shower. The faucet was barely on and rusty, the shower head hanging off. The walls were dirty & it just felt unclean
- 4/5
Nice shower, but was set for massage and we couldnt change it. Mold around the top in shower on ceiling. TV very full of channels. Receptionist very friendly and bilingual. No free coffee because she could not get access to wash the pot. On checkout, I asked for a receipt and she filled in the price of 80.00, not the 59 she was told. But, if in the area, I would stay again, because service was splendid, bed was great, and blackout curtains amazing.

Very clean and cozy.

This place has no competition so there’s no motivation to improve. It would take a lot of money to upgrade the fixtures and infrastructure and I can’t imagine it would pay off profit-wise to do so. So, it will probably continue to have stained and spotted furniture in poor condition and low flow shower heads with barely-hot-enough water and mediocre mattresses and so on.

Thee only issue i had was with the tv.

great place with nice people

I loved the price and cleanliness of the room. However, the microwave in the room was rusted in several spots on the inside. There was a very unpleasant smell coming from the a/c until. The shower head came off while adjusting it. Overall not a horrible experience but I was not the most comfortable.

Trip to visit family. They have a policy of taking a $25 safety deposit. If you use a credit card for that deposit it was $27. When you leave, you only get $25 back. A little bit of a scam! Otherwise, a good stay.

Just checked in. So far so good.

Nice and clean

Very nice place. Clean and quiet. Only concern was when I got there, they had to call the owner to confirm my reservation as they had no info on file. I booked a king bed room and got a full size bed room.

Perfect stopover on way to Raleigh. Nice breakfast place in town.

Amazing and accomidating staff and owners. In town for a family members passing. Very compassionate and caring. Will DEF be back!

The only negative was we didn't have access to the lobby.
- 3/5
It was quiet and clean but outdated paint was pealing off the wall in the bathroom the tub is small, there is a small microwave and refrigerator in the room but no coffee maker. They do have an ice machine but no vending machines or anything. The women who was working the front desk was short with her communication and was kinda rude didn’t even tell me where my room was just handed me a key and she also asked me for $25 cash for a deposit and I thought that was strange that’s why they have your card number

This is an older, no-frills motel. The room was clean, with amenities such as a mini-fridge and a microwave. The room was an adequate size, very clean, but needed a few patch jobs in places. If you want luxury and extra amenities, you won't find it here. If you need a clean place to stay for less money, then the Guest Lodge works.

The room was very clean, but showed wear. Basic amenities for a little bit less than other options in the area.
- 4/5
I would have liked to have coffee available in the room for morning coffee. Usually most hotel rooms have a small pot to make and have coffee.
- 4/5
Was a nicely kept older motel. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Had a quiet stay.
- 3/5
We had to stay at a different property due to our booking not showing up on there record. This was not our intention and will not be using Expedia in the future to book any hotels.
- 4/5
Room was clean but lacked amities.
- 4/5
But the general one, all the bedside lights weren't working...
- 4/5
The hotel was fairly clean. A bit older, but ok. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect for my needs.
- 5/5
The staff provides good service and the property albeit older is very clean.
- 4/5
The room was acceptable
- 4/5
The property is a bit dated but was clean and conveniently located for my purpose.
- 4/5
Good place for a quick, budgeted overnight stay. The room was basic, clean and comfortable it did not have a coffee pot or shampoo. My late night shower was only warm water (which it was very cold outside), but my husband said his morning shower was hot.
- 4/5
Enjoyed the stay. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel is a little outta date but overall would highly recommend.
- 4/5
I recommend the hotel for the budget conscious traveler.
- 5/5
The staff here is friendly and they go overboard to make sure you are comfortable..

Great
- 5/5
Exceeded expectations significantly. Nice size room and very clean.
- 4/5
Clean at a good price. No coffee maker in the room and limited coffee available up front.
- 2/5
Had no hot water, fridge was not cold, desk clerk had bad attitude. Will never stay here again and definitely not worth $75 / night
- 4/5
Other than it taking more than five minutes for hot water to shower I would stay again.
- 3/5
If you are just looking for someplace cheap but ok this motel is ok. The air conditioning did not work as well as I prefer. I set it on max cool and had to wait later in the night before I was cool enough to sleep. I keep my home air set about 70 or 71. Felt about 73 74 on max cool. Everything worked. Towels were changed out. It's a really small town but has a divided highway going back towards Monroe No front desk service before 7 or 730 I noticed ceiling was cracked but not an issue parked right outside my room door opens to outside very small room. I probably won't stay here again since I really like colder air to sleep with

I had a very good experience at this Hotel, very big grassed area, very clean everywhere.
- 2/5
The hotel itself was not that disappointing, however the room was disgusting. It smelled so badly, after checking in we had to go to the store and buy a scented candle to burn in the room (to hide the smell). The water temperature was just above cold and the carpet was old. Guessing the room was a smoking room and never cleaned prior to making it non smoking. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
Nice clean room with comfortable bed. Perfect for our trip to SC. Would stay there again
- 3/5
Clean and comfortable but the WiFi was not useable most of the time and the staff was not helpful
- 5/5
I booked this hotel because of the great room rate, positive reviews and proximity to Charlotte. I drove in from New Jersey and arrived for a late check in. The front desk staff person (I wish I caught her name) was very courteous and professional. Check-in only took five minutes. Pageland should be proud to boast such a great lodge. This hotel was one of the cleanest I've stayed in, and I do a lot of traveling. The Management obviously knows the hotel business as the room set-up and amenities rivaled any chain hotel. Extremely quiet, comfortable and secure. (The town itself is quaint with its Main Street USA feel!). They also allowed me late check-out at no additional charge. I will most certainly stay at this hotel again.

Very clean
