Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Francisco Pacifica

Our direct flight from Honolulu arrived early in the morning so we were at the hotel about midmorning. We asked Abigail, the front office clerk, for an early registration. She searched and found a room for us. It was a corner room next to the elevator. It was clean and quiet despite being next to the elevator. Although the view was of some bushes, part of the highway, and part of the ocean it was a great room bc of its location in the hotel and size. It was more than adequate. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed every other day. Continental Breakfast is provided daily. Other eateries are within walking distance and quite good. We ate at Breakers twice and had a dinner at Nicks. Some other Rockaway businesses and restaurants are in walking distance too. We would definitely stay here again.

Just a quick overnight stay and was so pleased that we did. Love the location and proximity to all the walking/ hiking trails and the views. The staff was amazing. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep listening to the ocean. Only wish that the windows were cleaner so that we could fully appreciate the ocean view. We had a great breakfast while sitting on the outside patio. We will stay here again and would recommend it to others.

I liked the two TV's in the room. I also liked the view of the water while enjoying my breakfast. Great variety of different things to eat. I simply enjoyed the suite I was in, spacious and I felt like I was in another country, yet I live 15 minutes away ?. I did not like the view from my room 325. I also did not like that the bathroom door does not stay open or at least have a stopper in the room. The last thing I did not like was the potatoes at breakfast not brown enough.

Breakfast was typical for what is usually described as a “continental breakfast” in the US. I was somewhat surprised though that the staff did not wipe the tables on the balcony before breakfast. The amount of seating inside was limited, but when a few people wanted to sit outside, they could not because the tables were still wet from the morning dew.

I requested an Ocean view a month in advance and they were so kindly accepting! My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast in Pacifica and the Hotel was the highlight of it all. 10/10

Entrance from the parking garage is super slippery tile! It’s always foggy or drizzly here, so it’s wet very often. I almost slipped and fell because of the wet tile. Put down some grip tape!

The views and the little shopping area The refrigerator froze my coffee creamer and sodas in cans. I couldn’t get the water adjusted correctly and we were on a busy corner with lots of traffic noise and light.

I paid for a queen Suite with hearing impaired was transferred two times due to they kept putting me into incorrect room they kept putting me into a king room not what I paid for we need a two beds in the couch also there was a bathroom window that was tinted but you could see in and out during the day and night depending and the slats on the blinds were missing when I brought the issue up regarding my room they told me they didn't change my room they had no control it was the third party booking but I showed them my reservation showing a queen room also we loaded stuff to the car and went down to the beach we hadn't checked out yet had a few items left when we went back to the room to grab the few items someone had been in the room to move stuff around

The rooms were clean, the location is PERFECT for easy access to the city, safe parking, great walkability, great access to restaurants, and the continental breakfast was delicious! This is a 5-star property and we will stay here every time we visit the city in the future!

This hotel is the must have every time we come to the Ocean. Also it's right on the Ocean, you can't get better than this view!!!

We stayed for four nights, agreed to have housekeeping while we were there. We got fresh towels once, never had a bed made or trash taken out. Also the fridge froze ALL of our food we put on every shelf.

The front desk was kind enough to allow us early check -in on our arrival day. Our room was on the second floor #240 over looking a parking lot and facing highway 1. At 1:30 am, a very large semi truck arrived and proceeded to unload plastic wrapped pallets on a noisy lift gate right below our room for more than an hour. When we shared this with the front desk upon departure, we were told the hotel has no control over delivery times. If a hotel is curating a comfortable night’s sleep for $300/night and this is a possible occurrence, I plan to stay elsewhere in the future.

Ren at the front desk was pleasantly cheerful, kind and firm about about finishing our check-in when a woman blew in the door, barged up to the counter and proceeded to bark orders at Ren who calmly said,” I’ll be with you as soon as I finish with this customer”, at least four times. Ren stayed calm.

Clean. Comfy bed. Great breakfast. My biggest qualms are that they still want to charge 15$ to park in the lighted lot. They make little to no effort to place people with an ocean view. I appreciate not being stuck in the 2nd floor dungeon rooms which pretty much have no windows but still. Hotel was almost empty and I get a view of the freeway and park my car in the unlit city parking. All of the other hotels in the area are cheaper and have free parking. Free breakfast and good TV service is what sets this hotel apart. Fix the other stuff and you are made.

The parking lot was way too small to park my parents' handicapped van. Their reservation was for a handicapped room, with a roll in shower. Not only wasn't it a roll in shower, there were no safety protocols at all. No bars in the shower or next to the toilet, and the space between the sink vanity and the toilet was not ADA compliant. We called for a shower chair, prior to leaving for the evening. While we were out, housekeeping dropped off the chair, but did not close the door behind them, leaving our belongings unsecured.

Beautiful property! Wonderful staff, great amenities. We will definitely return! Not enough seating for the breakfast crowd in the morning but the outdoor patio was accessible if you had a sweater. The gym area could be utilized for more space, a lounge, bar, etc.

Brought my wife here for her birthday and appreciated the upgrade from partial to full ocean view. While looking out the window noticed another hotel right on the beach, and blocking our view. Turns out it’s less expensive. While I am somewhat happy with my choice, I would have preferred the other one that had free parking (we had to cough up $15 because the hotel wants to squeeze as much out of guests as possible). Next time I will save $100 and stay at the Sea Breeze Motel so I can watch the ocean instead of folks staying at a better hotel for the price).

This is a perfect getaway. Staff are amazing, it’s the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been. They are so hospitable that they tried to accommodate us as much as they can, especially when I said that we were there for my birthday getaway. Due to all these plane incidents on the news, we’ve decided to cancel our Vegas trip and just do a local getaway. With their view, cleanliness, beach access….perfect getaway.

We did not like that you have to sign up and agree for them to sell your data before you can use the WiFi (that’s a weird way to take your guests hostage) which is necessary because there’s no signal in the area. The breakfast was okay, sort of bland but there was a lot of choose from and again, it was super clean and spotless so it was all in all a good stay.

The trip was really fun and enjoyable. The room was extremely clean and modern. We did ask for towels a few times, and they came most of the times we asked. However, we didn't get a room clean at all during our entire trip and our room became messy because of it.

Doors open into a common area which can get noisy at times. There was also a large gap under the door that let in a lot of light at night. Street parking was easy, staff was friendly. Walkable to limited shopping and restaurants as well as some hiking. Access to driving into San Francisco is easy but once you get to SF traffic is bad.

There's more but that probably is a good example of the bad. Sadly it is probably one of the better hotels/motels, but I was quite unhappy (even with me arriving late to sleep then early out). I must say I'm very confused that Pacifica doesn't have much better hotels!

Breakfast was okay but also disappointing due to lack of place to sit and feeling rushed out at the stroke of 9:30am even though we didn’t get a chance to eat because we were waiting for food to arrive and then they whisked it away before we had a chance to get any. Also, both coffee machine and water machines were broken during our stay. Staff tried hard to accommodate us. All in all, a nice visit.

Ask for 1 king size wasn’t available but they gave me a 2 queen bed with ocean view and it was amazing! Super clean property and friendly staff! And great breakfast!! Definitely will come back and stay! And i hope you guys too!

Room was really nice with a great view except we were there from Monday to Thursday and our room was not cleaned once. I asked at the front desk and they said “sorry about that” we can come up and empty the trash. We are at a hotel right next to the beach with kids, obviously we need vacuuming. Also the toilet had trouble flushing and the water was so hot my daughter couldn’t even take a shower. We couldn’t get it a comfortable temperature.

Probably the best hotel option in the Roackaway beach area. Rooms are clean and comfortable but not luxurious by any means. Cups in room are paper or plastic and the breakfast offered in the morning is pretty dismal. Don’t feel the hotel is worth the price at all, but it’s better than the other options in the area.

Underwhelming, just OK!!! Be ready to pay for parking which makes NO sense!! Considering on the premise is only option, I am thinking it’s a new way for hotels to charge extra, not ok!! We had a room with a view of the ocean, but the windows are so dirty was hard to see it. No phone service and the continental breakfast was crap and we paid a lot of money to stay. There would never do it again.

This was our first time staying here. We were only staying one night as a visit for family. Very clean and the staff was helpful. Close to restaurants and the beach. Would stay again for longer.

The beach was nice

The room was clean although the bedding was a bit ill fitting. Overall the room accommodations were okay but we had a very unrestful 3 nights. The hotel seems to be recently remodeled but the foundation and the sound proofing must be lacking. We heard EVERY little noise (talking, sneezing, music, tv, walking above us) there was from the neighboring guests and housekeepers, from early morning to late night. I had to call the front desk on one occasion about neighboring noise and talk to a housekeeper another day about her noise just outside our room. The front desk staff gets 5 stars but unfortunately, due to the lack of peace and quiet, we will not be staying here again.

I wish the breakfast was different every day.

Did not stay. Booked wrong day in error Expedia nor property would refund and help us so we stayed at at another hotel. We will never recommend this property or Expedia.

Everything was great. The reception service was outstanding. Very respectful fast and welcoming. Room had a great view. Break fast was excellent, especially bacon. Staff is very professional. The communication before and after stat was top notch.

The hotel is relatively new. The room looks modern and clean. It doesn't need to be a big hotel in order to be a good hotel.

Booked on line luke always and picked room with balcony as itcwas our 25th wedding anniversary. Well it was unavailable when we checked in and the said they upgraded to a 2queen. Definitely not upgrade but nice view.
