This hotel met our needs for a short stay.

The Manager was very rude and made me feel like I was disturbing him each time my key card locked me out and he needed to reset it. The keurig in my room was clogged and barely dripping yet the manager insisted it was fine and didn't feel the need to correct the problem or replace it. Then he publicly yelled at me chasing me down the hall because he didn't think I paid for the entire trip up front. Even the maids were embarrassed and he never apologized for his error for falsely accusing me. He was very condescending and gives Best Western a bad name. Will never stay there again!!

The hotel decor is simple, but clean. Parking availability is almost all at the back. Not much they can do about it. But there is lots of spaces, just far enough away to make me a bit nervous walking from the car to the doorway. There is no one around. But it was fine. Breakfast is ok. Nice it’s included with the room

Also manager was not professional and helpful at all. Horrible customer service from his end. and i would never stay there again. Many guest complained of several issues, in which they also weren’t happy, Example shorts on light switched, clogged shower and sinks. and many more.

For the price that I paid I expected better. Would not stay there again.

Room was great for the price, but like most hotels since Covid, breakfast is not up to par. I know it’s free, but at least make it tasty, enticing and a variety, not just pork, some of us don’t eat beef or pork. But overall good rooms and stay was great.

This was our second time at this hotel. Everything was great. Our toilet was leaking and maintenance was done on it in a timely manner. Staff was helpful. If I could recommend that they have a tv guide for guests so you don’t have to go through all the channels, which takes awhile, would be helpful. We also had trouble with our key card. We had to get new ones x 4. We would recommend this place to stay.

The check-in process was good, the room clean and well laid out, the breakfast was very good and the swimming pool was wonderful.

The rooms were clean but thought it was strange that we had to go to front desk for towels each day and that we had to take our own trash to a location. I could see putting it out our door and someone would pick it up and empty it. If the price was discounted because of no services I could see it. It was extremely hard to get someone at the front desk. Calls went unanswered and stood at the desk for many minutes before any person came to help. Been a week and haven't seen my deposit refunded yet, Called and was told it was my bank. That's not true. Bathtub would not drain properly. Stood in back up water for shower than rinsed my feet when I got out. Complained and was told I didn't pull the cover up enough. Both my husband and I pulled it up as far as it would go. It was insinuated it was because we were old that we didn't have the strength.

Our room was extremely clean and was very comfortable! The bed was great and amenities were wonderful! The entire staff at checkin and breakfast were so friendly and helpful! We couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast-probably the best we’ve had in a hotel! It was in a very convenient location too!

The guy who check me in was a dick. He had the personality of a concrete wall. The utilize a no maid policy and expect you to take your room trash out to the garbage and your laundry to the laundry room according to the signs they had on the desk. For $150 a night you can find better accomodations. It will work in a pinch but definitly not worth the money overall. Patches in the wall in spots, rusty fixtures in the bathroom no anti slip floor mats for the shower or bathroom floor. Room size was nice, bed was comfortable

The computer workstation in the lobby had no place to insert a thumb drive. The room 228 had the bed directly across from the desk. Which I found strange since the chair and side table were at the other end of the room. I guess if you needed a large flat space to do your yoga exercises, this is the room to have. The Amana air conditioning wall unit front cover was dirty looking and had tape used to hold it in place, that had gave way, so one corner was hanging loose rattling The bi-fold door for the closet kept coming out of the track. So the doors would swing freely into the egress path to main door. The bathroom contained the toilet and the tub/shower. There was plenty of hot water. However, the sink was not in the bath area. And whoever installed sink broke the granite top so there was crack running across the sink. There was hair dryer if you trot down to the front desk and ask for one, which is then registered to your room. So don't forget to ask before you wash your hair and can't find it. The refrigerator was apparently sitting on just three legs as something (vibration) caused it just lean out of the cabinet. Fortunately it did not fall over and I was able to set it back in the cabinet. We were there three nights and the freezer refroze our blue cubes just fine.

Shower was fair at best, plenty of hot water but terrible water pressure. Breakfast was fair at best.

Hotel staff was nice, room was clean. Good breakfast options. The staff member who was taking care of the breakfast service was so friendly and helpful. The lobby area had signs that listed restrictions about drinking and eating, which is out of the ordinary for other hotels where we’ve stayed.

Second time at this hotel, it's a good value for the money. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and professional, good Wi-Fi and quiet for the most part. Super clean! There is a wide selection of breakfast choices (i wasnt impressed with the eggs) and a fitness room with a couple of cardio machines. We will stay here again next time we're in the area.

Room was nice. Brought over a console so I can watch movies but there is no way to switch your tv to hdmi since it’s locked. They have a master control to do it but the front desk said it was missing all day since he got there. Phone was broken as well.

I had a great stay at Best Western! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. Jenny and Tucker at the front desk was amazing — friendly, professional, and very helpful. All the staff were kind and made me feel at home. I really appreciate the excellent service and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Breakfast - eggs was made with cheese sauce which waa weird, sausages werent cooked all the way I left a tank top Sunday morning when i checked out and I called Monday morning to find out that it was either thrown away or someone took it. Ive worked at a hotel before and you're supposed to hold on to thibgs for at least 24hrs before doing anything with it. The man at the front desk su day Feb. 15th had a very Oh Well attitude. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Had a great 2-night stay at this hotel. Jenny at the front desk was super-helpful answering questions and making sure I had everything I needed. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast had a wide variety of food on offer, much more than most hotels these days. My only (minor) complaint is that the cleaning products they use have a very strong odor which I didn't care for.

Stay at the Oswego Best Western for two nights! It was alright! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was hot and decent! The room was on the 1st floor and near the rear exit leading to the parking lot! Perfect! The room was clean but the tub drain was broken, so when you showered the tub filled with water. The shower curtain was dirty on the bottom because it stayed in the dirty water. I reported it to the front desk and he said he’d have it repaired. I reserved through Expedia and the check in time was not at 3, as indicated on the site, but at 4 pm. They allowed us to check-in early which was great! Worth the discounted price which was cheaper than reserving directly with the hotel.

The staff at the BW in Oswego Illinois racially discriminated against, lied on, threatened then called the police on us and blatantly disrespected my family and I. This hotel clerk trespassed us and made up a terrible lie of me threatening her after she not only threatened my 18 year old sister, 53 year old mother and then threw my ID and a room keycard across the counter at me.

I did not end of staying at this hotel. I arrived from out of town to visit family on Thanksgiving and when I got there the front desk guy was very rude and condescending to my husband and I. We ended up walking out and staying at another local hotel .

Dropped my kids off at college and stayed here during the transition. 10 min drive to Aurora University- was easy to navigate back and forth. Great service here by all employees I came in to contact with.

The only thing I was unhappy with was the lack of parking . Also the parking spaces were not marked as well as they could have been and maybe they would have been able to accommodate the lack of parking better .

My biggest problem was when you needed more towels you had to bring the dirty ones down or they would not give any to you. 2 out of the three front desk people were rude. The man who ran the kitchen would just stare at you.. little uncomfortable. Housekeeping was not provided daily(I guess understaffed). There was a homeless man every morning in the kitchen making food and he took it outside and ate standing over a garbage can. Also creepy. All the other staff just ignored you as if you were not even there. No Hi how are you? So I found that weird and rude. Not sure I would stay there again. Unless it was a last resort.

Disappointed on breakfast. Mainly no orange juice . Had no maid service. Had to go to front desk for clean towels. They were very nice about getting them. No restaurant brochures for restaurants. None within walking distance.

Everything was nice. The only complaint was a need to upgrade the tub and shower but otherwise it was a spectacular stay. It was very clean and safe. Staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Close to many things where you can walk. Wonderful stay!!!

It was the worst hotel we ever stayed in. There is no housekeeping and when we first got there the toilet was stopped up and the guy at the front desk said i can bring you a plunger but you'll have to fix it yourself...really. This place is an absolute dump I wouldn't stay there again even if they paid me!

The room was large, with a sitting area, a kitchenette, and bathroom. We were very happy with the room. The breakfast was delicious with many hot and cold options. We would stay again.

Breakfast made me and my boyfriend sick to our stomachs both days. Room smelled like dirty socks the whole stay. Bed was harder than a rock. Definitely unhappy with our stay and will not be coming back to this hotel.

Benjamin from the front desk was absolutely the best!! He was helpful, considerate, kind, always had a smile on his face and never once acted as if we were an inconvenience! The house keeping ladies were kind and friendly and always smiled!! This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, hands down! The guy making that was doing the breakfast was busy and always making sure there was enough food and kept the area top notch clean! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back!!

The room and bed were fine, and its in a quiet location. Wasn't too keen on the stay, they had me slide my card more than once and ended up putting a hold on my card multiple times. The holds did end up falling off, however they ended up charging the card I reserved with rather than the card they put the holds on and I asked to pay with instead. Also the breakfast was sorely lacking and not as advertised. The staff I dealt with were fine but did seem disinterested at times. Which was a pain due to the fact that our room keys randomly stopped working several times. We received 4 or 5 new room keys due to every time we left the room, our keys wouldn't work when we returned.

Counter was cracked in room 304. The shower sprayed outside the tub. Other than that, everything was good.

It wasn’t that I didn’t like it, but I was surprised that there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room. They did have them, but you had to go to the front desk to get it.

The people @ the front desk are “EXTREMELY RUDE” and certainly don’t care about your “EXPERIENCE” Sunny,Melissa (who was literally drinking wine behind the front desk (Melissa that is) are just the absolute worst and the manager Tucker I could be getting his name wrong is the absolute WORSEST!!! I would bypass this hotel @ all cost and advise on a HILTON OR HYATT BRAND a chain that cares about your “TOTAL” experience!! Rooms not that clean, breakfast is a “duh” bedbugs are definitely in the beds! Got several bites!

Walls were thin, you could hear the people running upstairs like you lived in an apartment. One of the towels had pubic hair on it. Water for shower took 5 minutes to warm up. Room was roomy but the breakfast was the usual , not appealing. One of the doors to enter was broke where anyone could walk in the facility. The front desk guy was great at his job, but the amenities need upgrading. TV wasn’t a smart tv, and didn’t have the original controller.

This property is incredibly outdated. The bathroom tiles in our room were broken and moved when we stepped in them. The carpet was ripped in spots. Bed was comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly. Cheap spot, convenient to all the things we needed.

Took a shower to only have the stopper not work. So took a shower in ankle deep water. You could tell from the chrome that the room had not been cleaned properly prior to visit. Just surprised because location seemed good but hotel room was not clean.

There’s one guy that super nice but the rest we felt were staring us down every time we walked by or sat in the breakfast area. They were not kind at all. My boyfriend asked one guy if they had a knife and a plate and he wouldn’t even help. The weekend breakfast lady is nicer than the breakfast they service. Pretty terrible. The carpeting in the rooms need to be changed and the entire place needs a renovation. I’d probably give this place a 1 for the hotel where as the location is about a 3. If you want a comfortable place to stay I’d suggest not chancing it here but it’s my opinion.

I come and visit this area quite often to come see my son who is in college for his football games I am from St.Petersburg Florida and out of all the hotels I have stayed at in this area this one is the best by far the staff is so nice and very welcoming Ms.Diane who works in the breakfast dining area is such a sweet heart so much great hospitality make you feel wanted there I will be back in December for my sons graduation me and the remaining of my family thank you

The hotel is in desperate need of update. The rooms were clean but the bathroom looked like a bathroom from the seventies showing it's age and needed repairs. Very dark room, needs more lighting.The room that we had was at the end of the hallway near a 2nd entry. The door slammed loudly (which could be fixed) and we did not sleep well at all. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. I originally booked for 1 night but added on a day before and after to ensure more family time. According to the hotel since we booked through hotels.com we would have check out and back in every morning to ensure we could have the same room. We were subject to the $50 deposit every night but was grateful they were refunded quickly. The 1st day I told the staff that I would be leaving at 7am and would not return until after the wedding. I was told there was an hour every morning that it was unattended but if no one was there it would be noted I would complete after return from the wedding. I received a call from my teenage son who told me the staff knocked on the door stating it had to be immediately. I was forced to leave the venue when getting ready to return to complete. This took 40 minutes out of prep time. There should have been an exception made to avoid this. I mean you had my id and card on file. I offered to let my son complete or that I could complete verbally but was told no. Stay somewhere else.

I love everything about the hotel the only thing I would change is the temperature on the pool water it was too cold

The hotel is definitely livable, but it's not that nifty.

The bathtub looked disgusting. There were not enough towels in the room. It definitely did not look as nice as the pictures on the website. We ran out of toilet paper after only one night. We were charged an incidental fee, but then not refunded. I called multiple times and nobody answered. And for almost $200 for one night, I would not recommend it.

After my stay my rate was adjusted and increased by $50 dollars, without any indication why. In coming to the property I was concerned due to harsh smells in the hallways, however the room itself was very clean and smelled good. The morning service staff was very kind while I was eating breakfast and taking time to talk and converse with every guest, and probably the highlight of the stay. I will be calling the hotel to look into this additional charge, and if they are able to adjust and change this I may be changing my review.

The housekeeper Evelyn was very rude and when we asked the front desk about it he yelled at us that she was a very nice woman. Then we asked him a question and he just kept yelling at us until we left. Will not be back they do not care about the happiness of their guest!

It's not to far from shopping center so that was nice. My one issue. I stayed here 2 times and each time I keep getting a accessibility room for hearing impaired and what not and they wouldn't clean my room for the week I was there.. Besides that it was a great stay they're quick to get you what you need. ( Towels, toilet paper etc.)

There was a birthday party above us that was very loud all night. They stayed 2 nights and I complained the first night but they did not get quiet, it sounded like there was a herd of elephants all night. They should not have been allowed/a second night!

I called before I booked and asked about the pool and they said yes, it's open. It was open, but all the windows were open too. So it was freezing in there. So my wife was not too happy about that.
