Very clean room with all amenities needed. Coffee and tea in the lobby. Nice bath tub for soaking with full private bath - nice for family traveling. They were generous with clean towels daily. It was a bit further away from some of the attractions but close to the train station so simple to get there. Given the cleanliness and value of the room this made up for the extra train connection.

very clean. Decent sized rooms. Loved the free massage chairs and available laundry facilities (machines had built-in detergent dispenser so didn't have to buy) No nearby restaurants.

We were able to fit a family of 5 in one room. The hotel staff were very helpful. They had bikes to use for no extra charge. The location was in a quiet area next to a park and the river.

It was fantastic. We especially liked the kitchen staff they were kind happy and awesome. Location was great - quiet area close to the train. (Loop line) The bikes were an awesome plus.

For a person traveling by train, it is a walk (especially with luggage) from the train station. Not too far, but also not too close.

The staff (specially Mr Osugi) were very courteous and even went out of their way to book a taxi for me to retrieve a lost item at Kyoto at 10:30 PM. Big shout out to Osugi, thanks for all the help ! The housekeeping was good. We stayed on level 6, the topmost floor. Arigato

Nice hotel, kind of odd neighborhood. But at times there were several people at the reception and none of them English at all. Didn’t expect this. We asked for arranging a taxi to pick us up and drop us off at the airport limousine bus place (15 minutes drive) because we would head back home and they made a big deal out of it, while we had no issues with getting a taxi in Kyoto and Tokyo. It looked like they just didn’t want to put any effort in calling taxi companies. They told us to just take the subway (yeah, with 2 big suitcases…). Only after complaining and asking over and over they finally arranged a taxi.
