KOKO HOTEL Osaka Umeda

Location Was very dirty, and expensive when another Koko hotel in a good location was cleaner and less expensive. Laundry machine smelled, bathroom was the cleanest part of the room. Carpet was stained, the wall had a hole in it.

I loved how close it was to everything, Umeda station isn’t very far away so getting around was easy. Very nice hotel as well, the staff are very friendly and the hotel has good amenities. Would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to others. Nothing :)

The staff was helpful and the place was very clean The room was very cramped, barely any space to store anything. The area is very noisy, people scream in the night and bosozokus race at night in the area with their loud cars... The hotel has paper-thin walls so you hear everything.

Nothing. Very basic and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Staffs are okay and helpful. But the hotel facility, tidy room and location overrides the hospitality provided by the staffs. Horrible room. Can’t even move around. Location is not that great too.

This was my second visit. Will visit again when I travel back at Umeda.

The privacy, the amenities, the staff and the water pressure. Also, there’s a laundry room on site if you need to wash some clothes on holiday. There is not one thing I did not like!

Good location, nice lobby and amenities. Room very small, strong scented smells throughout the property.

I really like how the reception is set up on the second floor. It means that every time I enter or leave the hotel, I don’t have to pass by the front desk, which makes me feel more comfortable and gives me a bit more privacy

Staff is very helpful, very nice and polite. Try to help in every possible way. The location is a bit far from the subway. Although it’s technically within walking distance, the walk can feel quite long in cold weather.

This is my second stay here - staff is wonderful and I was made very welcome. The water for the soaking tub wasn’t hot enough for a relaxing soak. Also disappointed in the changes to the breakfast buffet

The staff very friendly & helpful The rooms are tiny, I mean literally too small. Especially the bathrooms are so small you won't be able to move. The bathroom had the size of an airplane toilet and is also low so you feel trapped there.

It is in a good location, around shops and the bustle of the city, yet still pretty quiet inside. Only stayed for one night, but it was very comfy and clean. The on-site laundry was easy to use and had a good price. The rooms were also larger than most hotels, which made it easy to open suitcases. Did not like that you had to go to the second floor to get the amenities that usual hotels leave in your room. They allow you to take as many as you like, but it's still a slight inconvenience.
