The walls are thin, and you will hear your neighbors. Pool needed to be cleaned. The TV options were worse than the $100 a night hotel I stayed in the day before checking in. The staff wants to upsell a timeshare when you check in and they make it hard to just get to your room.

Normally, my family and I stay at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa because it offers balconies, a spa, more privacy, and even a water park for the kids, which really gives that full vacation feel. Overall, the area is nice, and if you’re looking for a great view and a nice pool, this place would definitely work for you. Would I stay here again? Yes. Would it be my first choice over the sister property? Probably not. But if you’re coming to relax, have a good time, and make your trip feel more personal, I’d still recommend it! Just the property didn't have the waterpark, balcony :(

I like the fact the property is close to Universal Studios. I was able to walk to the park. The Hotel offers a safe and affordable stay for families. The hotel after 3pm do not offer any place where you can buy food or drinks. This is a property to just rest comfortable but everything else must be find out of the premises.

The A/C couldn’t cool our room adequately. Also, we experienced very low water pressure and couldn’t get hot water for the shower. It was just lukewarm and very low volume out of the showerhead. Also, the air-conditioning needed its filter replaced as it was very dirty, and we were experiencing major sinus issues. We texted the Front Desk regarding these problems and they very quickly responded with an offer to have maintenance go over to our room to address. We were told that maintenance did go while we were at Universal Studios and that the issue was resolved. We were pleased to see the air-conditioning was fixed and that it cooled adequately but they did nothing about the water pressure or hot water. This was very frustrating because it’s hardly a vacation when you have to race in and out of the shower because it’s too cold to stay in. Again, the Front Desk was very friendly and helpful, but I have to say I’m very disappointed that they didn’t fix our water pressure and temperature problem. Not the hotel’s fault, but we could smell strong presence of marijuana in the lobby.

The location only Our first impression of the stay was negatively impacted by the room. The cabinets and appliances felt outdated, and the kitchen setup was not adequate for basic use. The dishwasher had very limited space, and there were no proper utensils available for preparing meals — these were only provided the following day after we requested them. On the first day, we had to take cold showers as there was no hot water in our tower. This seemed to be a known issue, as the reception informed us they had been working on it since the previous day. At around 11 p.m., they offered to move us to another tower, but since we had already unpacked all our luggage, we chose to stay and wait for the issue to be resolved, as we were told it would be fixed the next day. Additionally, the apartment, which was meant to accommodate four people, only had two chairs and a small table. This forced us to sit on the couch and eat with our plates on our laps.

Stay was great, it was smaller than what was pictured but still enough for the three of us. We were looking forward to the free transportation to Universal however it only runs a few hours in am and pm(odd times) and had to reserve 24hours in advance, which didn’t not work for us. So we had to pay for parking at the parks which house hours would’ve been mentioned beforehand.

Great place to stay but the keys kept messing up and locking us out of our room/building. Rooms could also be a little more stocked with trash bags and towels.

The only thing I didn’t like was having to put a deposit down when Booking.com already handled it. The people were so nice at the desk I didn’t argue about it.

It’s very comfortable The room was a little warm and the AC wasn’t cooling it down. However, we called the front desk and they had someone come out rather quickly. Issue was resolved and we had no further issues.

not a resort at all.Bar and food on property have very limited hours. If you just need to sleep and go, then yes place is good . If your you want to enjoy a vacation pool side and relax this hotel this is not it.

Two things guests should be aware of: 1. The shuttle is very limited and not really helpful if you’re trying to get the most park hours. However, the location is close enough that Uber was reasonable so we didn’t mind. 2. The cafe/bar has short hours (closed by 3) and for breakfast they had one guy working. He was doing great, but it still took so long to get sandwiches and coffee that we decided to make breakfast in the suite the rest of the time. Definitely not a deal breaker for us as the cost, location, and overall quality was worth it, but something to be aware of. I’m sure we’ll be back soon.

The room felt dingy, beds were uncomfy with only 1 pillow for each twin bed. The coffee machine and washing machines were in bad condition and looked dirty. Barely any water pressure in the showers. Overall exp was not good but we did enjoy the space for a a family of 4 which was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also, no housekeeping and tiny tubes of shampoo/conditioner and bar of soap so bring your own toiletries.

Room was clean and that’s the nr 1 factor for me. I think the sofa in the room can be replaced for a new one but overall it was nice and the staff is very friendly especially the ones at the gate.

We loved it all! Everything was better than we pictured and expected! The staff was very accommodating and attentive! Amazing stay, worth so much more than we paid. The shuttle saved us a lot of stress and money! Be sure to reserve your spots as soon as you check in. The ONLY thing we didn’t like was the sheets were rough. That was the only thing we could complain about.

Traveled with my family and stayed a few days before we left for our cruise. We loved our stay. Plenty of space for our family. Nice, clean & conveniently located!

The other locations of Westgate are better for very small children but the Palace is great for older teenagers, 17 or 18 years old and for the grown & sexy who want a quiet getaway near great International Drive attractions. It was perfect!! I wish the bar was open to serve drinks other than beer. Having Starbucks was excellent as well as the Lavazza café in the condos. Bring back the Serenity Spa brand of bath products!! It would've been nice to have a frozen rum punch or piña colada by the pool. At least open the bar & have maybe one or two signature drinks. Otherwise, I love Westgate❤️RIP David Siegel 🕊

The property is nice and convenient. I took a star off because my whole party agreed that the beds were not comfortable. I don’t remember a worse mattress. Other than that, great place that was clean and spacious. Great shower pressure.

The room was great for our family of 6. Having the dishwasher and washer and dryer in the room was fabulous! We left with clean clothes to head home!

Room was nice, the staff was pleasant, shuttle doesn't run past 8:30 (maybe 9:30?), and they try to sell you a timeshare without telling you what they are doing ("go talk to that man over there to finish checkout").

Airport in great location that was easy to access and normally traffic free. Nice pool and hot tun area and suitable gym. We were in a newer room and it was spacious and well equipped. Bed were comfortable.

The property and room were clean and comfortable. They weren’t warm and ‘special’ or homey, like we prefer. Staff were helpful and kind and professional. It just felt like an institution more than a comfy hotel. If you are not hanging around in your room much, it’s perfect. Clean and a good place to stay. I just like it to feel less “cold” and more like a little home away from home.

Did not use airport shuttle, room was clean but there was no shower head in one shower and shower door handle fell off in my hand. No one fixed it like we requested according to tge front desk because we did not a swer the phone and had the do not disturb. We went out to enjoy our day did not leave the do not disturb. They did not replenish towel either fir our two night stay.good thing there was a dryer in the room .had to dry towel to reuse

Really nice room, but it was cold. No rugs or curtains to absorb sound. Not extra bedding even though there was a pull out sofe. The amenities were absolutely awful. They dont have a restaurant, its more like a concessikn stand with a kitchen. It took 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee and the bar was seriously lacking in variety and bartending. If you are just looking to sleep here, its fine. But if you are looking to vacation here, i would not recomend it.

No shuttle to airport. The front deak taff were not, not pleasant, kind of emotionless, they didn't go out of their way make us feel welcome that's for sure. "Here's your key, room 1243, over there". The security guards were the friendliest of all the staff oddly enough. The hot tub stopped worki and i notified staff and it was not addressed after half gour wait.

The room was a great size and in perfect condition for the price. You can't beat the location if you're on vacation to Universal Studios and I drive. The pool and hot tub were excellent. The restaurant could've had more convenient hours. That's really the only "complaint" I have. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was super great. The only drawback was that the shuttle that was running to the park had limited hours, which was very inconvenient for us and created a lot of expense with Uber rides.

The hotel is nice and convenient to universal studios. The rooms are clean but having to call housekeeping everyday to get your trash picked up or fresh towels was a hassle. One time no one answered and we had to walk down to the front desk to get someone. With kids this was a pain and the elevators were always out of commission everyday. Our last day we only had one working one that was delayed with everyone needing it.

We got to the hotel shortly after landing, prior to posted check in time. I was expecting that the hotel staff may let us keep our bags at the property until check in, but Marlyn checked us in early at no additional cost with a free upgrade to a larger kitchen. Nashly was training with Marlyn and was very eager to help with a comforting smile. We stayed 3 nights, four days. Accommodations were great. The full kitchen and laundry made the stay a breeze. A seperate bedroom away from my teenage children sealed the deal. Close to Universal and other attractions. The restaurant was not open every day, but that didn't cause much of an inconvenience. Would definetly return. Thanks so much!

Check in staff hard to understand. Should have been informed no housekeeping service unless 14 consecutive day stay. No place to get food after the mini store closes. Security of location was good.

Room was amazing. Fully fenced in 24/7 security team. Also very nice area check out slap noodles within walking distance for a great meal. Only downsides were shower heads were a little eh and hot tub wasn’t functioning correctly.

The room was very clean, I liked the fact that this hotel was very quiet, that is very important specially when you come back from the parks all tired and you are able to sleep good, I will definitely come back, also the location is great close to everything paid $6 uber to epic universe

The room was ok. I did find some food in the kitchen corner floor. The master bedroom bedwas too big i actually had to crawl to the end of the bed to get out. No room on the side. Other than that i like having 2 seprate bedrooms and bathrooms. It was quite, and parking was easy. Close to parks and i drive. Also starbucks was really good. Didnt use pools but looked clean and nice walking area.

We were originally placed on the 9th floor, and when we reported the issue, hotel management moved us to the 8th floor where their internet vendor claimed a router was located. Unfortunately, that didn’t help, there was still no internet access on that floor either. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The location is perfect - very close to Universal Studios and many restaurants. The hotel looks newly renovated, it’s clean, and the pool water was warm and pleasant. However, the restaurant on-site only operates until 3 p.m., which isn’t very convenient. We rented a two-bedroom condo that had large smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, but oddly, the TVs didn’t function as smart TVs. When we asked about it, hotel staff explained that the hotel doesn’t have the proper license for smart TV features. If reliable internet is important to you, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it’s a solid place to stay.

Good clean and everything was as described

They stole £4000 by double booking. Staff at front desk could see the fraudulent booking and the girls said only Phill was able to authorise the refund. Phill popped his head out the office door and did nothing.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely spectacular. The hotel is extremely comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly located. Everything is close by, with many great dining options within walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Transportation to the theme parks is very convenient, with shuttles running constantly, making it easy and stress-free to get around. The staff truly deserves five stars. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive—from the front desk team to the housekeeping staff. I would especially like to mention a very kind Venezuelan lady with gray hair who takes care of the lobby restrooms. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, but she was always incredibly attentive and kept the bathrooms spotless at all times. Her dedication and warmth truly stood out. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a great location.

The room had not been serviced for two weeks, and the parking facilities were unsatisfactory; otherwise, the stay was acceptable.

We especially liked the fully equipped kitchen, which made our stay much more convenient. Overall, it is a great choice for comfort, space, and proximity to Universal.

Nice place to stay with family overall. I do wish the windows could open or at least crack for ventilation. Parking was also limited, and it felt like there weren’t enough spaces for the number of guests.

We were under the impression that this was a hotel/resort and would be cared for as such. It wasn’t. It was more of a time-share or air b and b (without the privacy of your own place). We chose here instead of an air b and b bc we wanted the convenience a hotel provides- rooms cleaned, clean towels, garbage taken out. We are not high maintenance people at all, but wanted a clean place to come back to after a day at the parks. On our second day when we called to say our room hadn’t been cleaned, could we please have that done, we were told they only clean the room if you are there for 2 WEEKS! Perhaps we overlooked it, but we definitely did not see this mentioned anywhere on the websites. We only got fresh towels if we asked, given to us in a large garbage bag. Old towels were never gathered, just neatly piled on the floor by us. If we needed garbage taken out, we needed to gather it, put it outside the room, and call for a pick up. Someone from another room puked outside our room and it took hours for it to be cleaned up after we called the front desk to make them aware. The bar area shut down before the theme parks closed and the vending machines didn’t work. While the room itself had the setup we were looking for and we were initially impressed, the walls were super thin and we could hear everything all around us. Thank goodness we aren’t big people. Beware if you are. The master bath shower is small and very slippery. We were definitely disappointed. Not what we expected.

Very clean space and friendly staff. I wasn't aware this is also a time share. They were a little pushy at check in but otherwise left us alone. The pool could def have been warmer i am not sure if it was actually heated and we got locked out of our room twice on the last day. They said it has been some kind of issue with the keys. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Spacious clean and comfortable. Would def stay here again.

Very clean room, 2 bedroom lots of space, close to everything you can walk to a few restaurants/ stores. Washer and dryer was available with small packs of detergent. Parking maybe an issue if you reach late. There is an overflow parking lot a little distance away however there is a shuttle service.

The most fun at a place we had in our stays in Orlando. Hot tub, heated pool, and basketball court. Food at hotel is better than even the nearby restaurants and prices are amazing. I highly recommend this if you are staying with teenagers because there is plenty for them.

Hubby and I had a great Anniversary stay. Everything was clean and spotless. Staff were amazing. Can’t remember the young lady whom checked us in, however, she was great and very courteous. Upon checking out, Marcia and Malyn were courteous. Resort very clean and quiet. Room had quite a few updated appliances.

Everything was great. The front staff at check in was nice. We also found the room to be clean. The main bedroom was a little small but we managed. The parking lot was full one night so we had to go park in a reserve lot and take a shuttle over to the hotel. Aside from that, all else as great.

The parking situation there is a bit nuts. Other than that it was a great stay.

Staff support was lacking, they were not helpful at all. We were at the parks all day ubering everywhere bc their shuttle wasn’t available and get back to the hotel to find there is no water available for guests to purchase. All of the vending machines were empty our entire stay. We couldn’t get water from Starbucks bc they were closed. It seems like a small thing but the staff was like oh well.

Room was good size. Had a great view. It was like having a small condo with everything you need. Staff was unbelievably awesome. Marilyn, the front desk who checked us in took care of us throughout the whole duration and was absolutely fantastic. Facility lacked activities for kids but if you want something quiet, safe, and roomy this is the place. Would definitely recommend this place.

Everything was great. The shuttle to universal parks were definitely a great factor for us.

Wally was great from the moment we checked in very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Marlyn was a delight she answered all our questions always very kind. Sincere was the funniest and welcoming. All in all we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Westgate Palace Resort with our family. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our trip. The location is fantastic — just a short, easy drive to Universal Studios and close to plenty of great dining options. The convenience made everything stress-free, especially with kids. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The location was great, close to everything. 5 min drive to the Universal parks, great size pool, wish there was another hot tub, this one was a great size, but got busy quickly.

Absolutely beautiful and clean facility. The pool is heated so it was perfect for fall weather. I loved that availability was open even though we arrived too early for check in. The room was amazing!!!!! We slept so comfortable. The tiny little detail I would upgrade is to have plugs for chargers in each room. There were plenty of plugs just none in one of the bedrooms. We will definitely be back here! We loved it!

The staff were accommodating and let us check in early which made our first day smoother. The room was clean, not immaculate but clean, and you're the cleaner during the stay. I was charged $17 for a dish sponge and laundry pod which we used so be aware when using items to clean. Overall, it was good for the price I paid.

Fantastic property would stay there again. The elevators, hallways, and room could use a bit of a refresh. Only three or four elevators were working in tower B. The hallway ceilings where the popcorn style drop ceiling tiles. The room was nice; the couch was dated with patches and sun in, the dishes were from the 80s, the caulking in the bathrooms could use a refresh, but the rooms were quite clean and that was refreshing. Despite these comments, we would stay there again – it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Appreciated the shuttle to universal parks, be early when returning because they might pull off minutes before pick up. It would be helpful if they informed at check in that housekeeping is not available for stays less than a week or to know you can leave your trash outside your door when needing it picked up. All in all we had a great trip and stay. I would stay again

It was a decent stay. Rooms are crazy small. Had to get new l8nens ours had blood on it. Kitchen sank drains really slow. Hot tub was not hot at all.

The 2 bedroom rooms are very convenient for family trips. Hotel was clean and well kept.

Great place to stay close to Universal. Resort is quiet and has a laid back atmosphere. Pool and hot tub area great as well. Only negative I would have is restaurant closes way too early. I would recommend if looking for a great place to stay that is affordable.

We loved our stay here! We never got to experience the pool or hot tub as it closed at 11pm, like every resort and hotel seems to, but it would have been so nice if it was open later after getting in from long days to chill out there with the family.

Very nice property. It was not very busy so bar not open and not sure many of the amenities were available. We fortunately had a car to go places. The staff very nice at check in. Room was great for our needs.

This property was really nice, clean and the staff were very friendly. It was pretty central to all the parks. We visited all Univseral parks, discovery cove and magic kingdom, the longest we drive was about 20mins. I really like Les that we have a washer and dryer in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good front desk service, staff is very helpful and friendly too. The rooms were good tho a tad too small for the full/queen bedroom barely enough room to walk around. Needed a pan/skillet in the kitchen. Other than that we had a great stay! Very close to parks! Would definitely return and recommend!

Very clean and beds were comfortable. However the rooms felt cold and sterile with no decore’ or anything to make it feel warm and inviting. Also very noisy as there are no drapes or rugs or anything to dampen the sounds. Also, transportation is only for Universal. The description says free shuttle to “parks” which is misleading. Disappointed in the “grille” as it was only open 1 day and we were there for an entire week. If your looking for a place to just crash at night then It’s fine. If your wanting more of a resort then maybe look elsewhere.

The kitchen was the main reason we stayed here. There’s a lot of great hotels in the area but this was the best choice when you need a bigger suite with kitchen. The area is also safe. The view was also beautiful and peaceful. The staff took good care of us. We will definitely stay here again.

The location is conveniently close to Universal, with a nearby 7-Eleven and several restaurants. The room is clean and pleasant, and parking is easily accessible.

Overall, a great spot and close to Epic Universal , a cab ride was only $6 . The property does provide free shuttle . My family and I like to walk so we walked to a few local restaurants and rented scooters as a family.

Our room was spacious with all the amenities of home. Mattresses were comfortable, very nice towels, they even provided laundry and dishwasher soap. We visited WR Lakes to obtain our park tickets - if you are looking for a very busy, busy active resort - that's the place for you. WR is NOT like that! Quiet, laid back, not as busy with ample parking - no parking garage to fight through.

The resort had all kinds of things to need to spend nice time. First, it is right next to a very nice lake. It has a very large pool, some basketball and other sport amities, table tennis, and some games for kids. It also has a large parking area, so parking is included. The location is very nice. It is right next to the International road where there are a lot of very cool restaurants. Also, it is very close to Disney parks, Universal, SeaWorld, and other attractions; all withing a short 5-10 minute drive.

Seemed to be a great choice until 3 kids and myself got stuck in the elevator between the floors. Our room was on the 18th floor. Yes those things can happen. We had to move rooms, from 18th to 2nd floor and nothing but problem. Kitchen drain was clogged 3 times and the dishwasher was overflowed with old nasty water and we never even used it. They needed to replace the whole dishwasher and it still clogged up. Gave up at this point. They are not willing or empathetic at all. The only one that was absolutely a pleasant to see and talk too was Marylin (Philippines) at their front desk. Sweet as pie and understanding. In my opinion as a guest of the hotel Lesley should be fired and the GM isn’t the nicest. We did rent another room last minute for family but that was a waste of $800 and they were highly disappointed as well. I would recommend do your research and stay away from WestGate Palace Universal / I- Drive. We stayed for 11 days and if I could have left and gotten a full refund we would have been better off sleeping at a motel 6.

It was very clean soacious

The Westgate Palace Hotel was a lovely place to stay, and I believe it is suitable for both couples and families. We had a wonderful experience. Me and my daughter. In my perspective, it is more of a family-oriented hotel than a party hotel.

Our family of five loved our stay at Westgate! It was amazing having a full kitchen, two bedrooms, two full baths, AND a washer/dryer during our stay in Orlando. The hotel was extremely clean, staff welcoming, and the pool was a great size. It was absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend!

I really loved our stay my kids are older so the convenience of two rooms were great. The view was amazing we were given a free upgrade to a deluxe suite. We only stayed 3 days, so we didn’t get to utilize everything.my only take ways was the hit water and lack of water pressure.

Westgate was amazing for my family trip to Orlando! I loved the 2 bedrooms because i was traveling with teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was close to a variety of restaurants and shops. Staff was very nice. Our room was clean. The pool was clean. We can't wait to come back.

Room was very quiet which was a positive. Room was well furnished besides kitchen. Staff didn’t seem on the same page with room service. Poor communication.

The staff were amazing! All the amenities in the room were perfect. I most loved having the washer and dryer in the room. It was like having an apartment all to ourselves and I really didn’t hear other guests like you do in a typical hotel.

Great stay!

I did not have a good experience. First of all, my room 1412 was provided to me but WESTGATE assigned the room to another guest which had keys & entered my room which deactivated my keys. Secondly the game room too $20.00 but did not dispense my game card. The front desk states it was a 3rd party & would notify them the refund my $22.00 but i did not receive a refund.

The sheets they had in the closet had blood stains on them, but other than that, the rooms were excellent customer service was excellent housekeeping. Just need to make sure the sheets are clean before bringing them to the room.

Not sure if the room came with room service or not...never seen anyone for fresh towels or amenities...other than that my family stay was outstanding great location to everything. The frontdesk staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a gated hotel which was great for safety. I would definitely recommend to others.

I rate the property a 9.8 out of 10. Pictures do not do it justice as it is an incredible property in a great location. Better than I ever expected it to be. I just wish they had onsite food available up until 11pm.

Excellent place to stay for volleyball tournament. Lots of walkable delicious places to eat. Hotel was as clean as can be and all staff were super friendly. Two bedroom/two bath at a great price - plenty of room for a group size of four.

The room is very small. The kitchen is very inconveniently situated and should not be classified as a “full kitchen.” There are two small cupboards for all kitchen items. We had to use the tv hutch for additional storage of kitchen items. The beds are so small and in very poor condition. The restaurant on site had limited hours. Surrounding area very sketchy and rundown.

The hotel was wonderful, however they were so busy that they were unable to supply us with extra pillows for our son that sleep on the pull out couch. Other than that the experience was great. The pool was nice and it was very clean.

Finally, although I understand it wasn’t the hotels fault, the shuttle service is not great. We got to the lobby at 8:31 one morning and the shuttle had already left.We were told they were very punctual.Shuttles are only offered every hour and only until 8PM when returning from the Universal Park.Since we were worried about missing the last shuttle we got to our shuttle meet up place at 7:30 PM.Well, we waited over 1-1/2 hrs and the shuttle never arrived.When we called to ask where our shuttle was, we were told that he was running late and to wait 10 more min. But after a half hour had passed we called again and were told that the driver had already been there in a blue bus and had left at 8:04. I still don’t understand why we were told 2 different stories nor why they showed in up a blue bus when they told us to wait for a white one

Property is great however there is NO housekeeping. Regardless of how many nights you are staying. So you end up doing all the chores you do at the house while paying a lot of money.

Just ok

Westgate is a time share hotel. They sent a text once asking me to come and sit for a presentation but I declined and they didn’t hassle me again after that which was nice. This property was really safe due to having to be let in the gate every time we entered and needed proof that you were staying there. The room was perfect for us and was very clean. The pool and game room were a great was to fill in our down time when we were not At Universal Studios. I would recommend staying here.

Wonderful property. Only me, but had two rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and a leather sofa. The place was too-notch. No complaints.

We enjoyed our stay. The front of the house staff were so welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately , the bar staff was not great. I had to wait almost 40 minutes to pay for some ice cream bars because the person working at the bar was inefficient. Otherwise, everything was great!

This is a great property, excellent staff. Central location we had a blast.

First the good: located very close to Universal Orlando resort. Easy, FREE parking, and the bathroom in the room was very nice (rain shower was a great touch). The uncontrollable: the main road to access the hotel was under massive construction during our stay. This made getting anywhere harder than it needed to be. The bad: ok...so here's the main problem. The room was full of miniature ants. They were in the window by the couch as well as all over the kitchen counter by the coffee machine. I took a video of them. We had a packed schedule and arrived late so I didn't get a chance to bring this up until later in our trip...that part is on me. BUT...the staff seemed totally disinterested in this. They didn't apologize or provide any compensation or anything. Just, "Oh. Ok...we'll have to look into that." Really put us off and we will not be staying there again.

Beautiful resort! The updated hotel room was lovely and spacious for this family of 5. The kitchen/livingroom along with 2 bathrooms and several free amenities on site made it a very easy choice to book here. The outdoor pool and deck area is absolutely relaxing and wonderful. We had a breathtaking view from the 15th floor! My family enjoyed our experience and would absolutely book again.

The playground, volleyball and basketball courts were not able to be used during our stay because they were doing renovations to one of their buildings.

Overall really liked the hotel. Our only real issues we had was with getting to the hotel because there is so mucb construction. The gos kept sending us to the side that was closed and did not give us an alternate route. Eventually we found a way arpund but not without thr ststem trying to have as do a u turn into a closed off area. I think it woukd be helpful if the staff communicate that to people staying so that they dont have the same trouble we did. The restaurant hours are a bit wonky as well so we never actually got to eat there but the pool was decent and clean, the room doesnt do service daily but anytime we called down, the garbage was picked up and fresh towels were given. There were places we could walk easily for both dining, activities and shopping. Overall we would stay again.

Rooms not updated. Outlets inconveniently placed and do not work. Lack of amenities. Staff is very kind and friendly. There is no cleaning/turndown service. Our room was placed next to a construction site (with construction at night) and the hotel was mostly empty.

For the first 2 days had no WiFi and the reception desk just keep saying 2 more hours when it took 2 full days. I could not workcay and had to buy data plan.

One of the nicer hotels I have ever stayed in. Very impressed.

It was nice. The rooms were clean and updated. The only complaint is the shower door leaked water out of the door. So we had to put lots of towels down to prevent water getting all over floor.

The property was satisfactory and I would consider utilizing it in the future. Although, it is worth mentioning that the breakfast did not meet expectations, particularly the scrambled eggs. Besides that, my overall experience at the location was positive.

I highly recommend staying elsewhere. There is ongoing construction in the area, and road closures forced us to drive in circles trying to find another way in. On a positive note, there was a very nice female security guard who welcomed us back and was very pleasant. However, most of the other staff we encountered in the walkways seemed uninterested in saying hello and appeared overworked and unhappy. We made the best of it, but I was ready to leave by the second day.

Housekeeping left the floor’s garbage in front of our door and the cafe downstairs double charged us. We brought it up to front desk upon check out & they reconciled it.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The we had 2 bedrooms so my older daughter even had her own room and bathroom. There was a full kitchen and living area as well. The pool was nice and clean and the parking was easy. They also have a free shuttle to Universal.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Staff is super friendly. The room was perfect for a group of 4, the kitchen was It was so great to come back to the pool and jacuzzi after a long day of walking and riding roller coasters.

We loved the room, however the restaurant was not what i saw on line and never got to eat at the hotel. things not opened past 4, only pizza option was offered to us at bar. The food and bar were limited. After a long flight and getting to hotel was disappointing, even the vending machine in our building was out.

This was a clean and safe property and had plenty of parking. There was a gate at the front with a person making sure that people who were staying there were the only ones getting in. The only down side was that there isn’t housekeeping that comes in to tidy up the beds and stuff but we didn’t mind.

Nice property

Everything was wonderful. The hotel is very well located, close to the city's main tourist attractions. The apartment is comfortable, extremely clean, and has all the amenities for guests' comfort. We stayed for 4 days and we didn't lack for anything. In addition, they have an excellent staff, fully prepared to deal with guests. Especially Mr. Succes and Mrs. Merlyn. We had some special needs regarding our check-out time, and they kindly helped us. We are very grateful to both for making our experience even better.

FREE shuttle to and from Universal saved us a bundle and was so convenient. Pool was perfect. Our 2 bedroom family suite was just perfect and the ability to cook and eat in our room is so beneficial. We only ate out once a day and had food in the room for the other two meals a day. Kids were disappointed that Bball court was closed due to renovations but they want to go back- as do I!

We LOVED our stay here. The property is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and helpful!! There is so much to do in walking distance or within 10 minutes of driving outside of the theme parks. Def 10/10 recommend.

Conveniently located to amusement parks. Pool area and restaurant/bar not as good as pictures look. The room was nice, clean, and comfy.

Well to start we were able to check in early and get paper work done we were really early room was not ready yet thay called me when it was ready and we even got an upgraded room witch was really clean staff was on top of things it was really secure and safe ... will go back there again

It was a great experience

Property was clean and beds comfortable. Parking was a challenge on the weekend but improved during the week. Checkin was excellent- very friendly and welcoming. Room included all the necessary extras like laundry detergent, dish sponge, etc. Furniture is older but this was a great overall value.

The costumer service was exceptional. I had an excellent time at the resort and the receptionist was helpful, courteous and profesional.

I loved my room but I missed my client and lost a day at the hotel. I wish they could have worked with me to make up for my lost day at the same rate. So me and my son were very disappointed because we really wanted to be there longer.

sheets were dirty but they would not come touch up the room unless we had stayed there 7 days. All other hotels will do a light cleaning after 5 days.

Gated parking, which is good. Basketball court not able to use.

The only inconvenience was the limited of getting around due to road construction but the resort was great

The hotel is very well located and maintained. The suite we had for 6 people was very spacious and the unit well equipped. Definitely staying here again in the future.

Pros Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. (Unfortunately I didn’t get everyone names as there were a few). I did get regular text updates from Marlyn, Wally, Devi, Richard) Check in was smooth. Everyone at the front was extremely nice and patient. Success in particular was an extremely helpful concierge. He was pleasant and helpful navigating the general area, dining recommendations and with general assistance at the property. Extremely clean rooms. Which is what was important to us. Very Spacious. Close to universal and it helps that private transportation was included to make it convenient. We made use of the cabanas which was really nice to hang out pool side. Cons There is construction so part of the street it blocked off. It didn’t affect us arriving but it did affect any deliveries trying to get to the property Dining Was very limited but we made use of delivery services No daily cleaning or turn down staff an amenity that I personal look forward to. The safe in our original room didn’t work properly and Our room lacked hot water but we were quickly changed to a new room with better pressure and lots of hot water. Small inconvenience to move however the staff took care of us right away Overall great stay for the price. Very clean. Great staff. Not overly crowded compared to resort properties. Centrally located. I would stay again.

We have stayed at this facility numerous times. In the past I've seen drug deals going on in the parking lot which is gated. There are people occasionally coming in who are not guests at this facility. It always smells like weed. People always Park in the handicap spots without a permit. First of all, there are four elevators that service each tower. Even with three elevators, we should never have to wait 10 minutes to get to the first floor, but we do. The strangest thing was when we left our room to go to Universal Studios and guest services called me to ask if they could get in my room to fix our hot water problem. A problem that I never reported. The staff seems to do a good job and they're very friendly. I believe that the person in the guard shack probably doesn't know that he/she can kick people out for loitering/illegal parking/illegal activities, or perhaps the hotel doesn't give him or her the authority. Beautiful resort, but I aint coming back.

Great place for family

I highly recommend Westgate Palace Hotel / Universal / I-Drive because of its clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff.

The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 6. We loved the option to prepare our own food. The pool was enjoyed by us all and staff were pleasant. I'm frustrated because 2 charges were put on my credit card that we did not make and I have contacted the resort multiple times and left multiple messages and they have not returned any of my messages. For this reason I would be weary of staying there again.

Nice hotel but was construction on road was blocked in because plus noises and smells not hotels fault

This place is a dump. Save your money, half the property is closed due to paint and renovations. Beds and linens were gross. Moved rooms, seapped towels, requested new blankets. Do not subject your family to this property. You will have better accommodations at the local camp ground.

Large clean room. Nice pool facilities easy access to Universal using free shuttle bus.

The hotel was under staffed and no amenities. I had to call the front desk 5 times to get towels. Bar and snack bar close at 3pm so nothing available in the evening when we returned from the parks. The room itself was very clean and well worth it.

Spacious & clean!

Great location except there was a lot of road construction at the time but very close to all amenities and attractions. Very clean hotel, love the 2 bedroom suite, fully equipped kitchen with utensils and laundry. Large pool with kids pool and hot tub too. It was nice to have onsiite Starbucks and a restaurant to dine.

Beautiful property. Very clean! Staff were very friendly. Property had guard agent as well.

Pleasant greeting on reception. Construction outside which we were not warned about. Dog barking at 6 in the morning next room to us and barked all day until around 9. Cafe bar and restaurant were not open even though advertised. They did offer some sort of breakfast from 10 to 3. I was looking forward to relaxing at the bar in the evening. Cleaning staff did not come the 3 days we were there and they only gave 1 coffee pack, which caused me to head to the front desk to retrieve. The gentleman at the desk was very polite. Would not recommend to go in the beginning of the week. I was told the bar is open Thursday to Saturday if you want to enjoy your evenings after a long Disney day, and if you want clean sheets. Good luck.

Limited food and drinks on premise, Access difficult due to street repairs

Perfect for families! We enjoyed it. The only 2 things I would recommend is to including during stay cleaning and arrange parking lot for more parking space.

Awesome experience with westgate property.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The showers were amazing. And having security at the gate and watching the building made us feel very safe. We will choose this hotel every year for our family vacation.
