The room is very basic. It's small but they've made good use of the space. The room was clean and well maintained as ined.

Room was clean with daily housekeeping. Nice to have an option to eat at the Hotel instead of going out. The pool was a great place to hang out and relax.

Everything was perfect with our experience. No issues whatsoever. We opted for a first floor two bedroom suite and it was convenient for our early departures each day to the park. The shuttle service was always quick and on time getting us to and from the park. All of the staff was very friendly.

I stayed in the 2 bedroom, 3 bed room. Only complaint was storage in the room. There was only one very small dresser and small closet in separate room. Not a lot of storage space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pool, on site restaurant and bus transportation to the parks were great.

shuttles to and from parks are quick and run frequently. We definitely went more than we would have if we had to deal with parking. Food in the hotel is very expensive, but it was definitely convenient and we stopped in a few times.

The room was clean and spacious enough for two adults and two teenagers. The pool was lovely, except for the screaming children who were wrestling in the water. I wish the lifeguards would have intervened, but otherwise our stay was great

Loved everything about Surfside Inn and Suites. For an economy priced hotel, everything about it was above standard. We booked a 2-room suite and it was a great choice in terms of facilities, space and privacy. Very helpful, professional and pleasant staff. Hotel was nicely decorated and very clean. We will definitely return to this hotel when we make another to Orlando.

The bus transportation to parks was fast and came a lot.

Very clean room and I can’t tell you in simple words how great the staff were at this hotel. I had decided to go to a standard hotel instead of a more expensive stay because I planned on spending a lot of time at the parks and CityWalk. I was pleasantly surprised at the great family-friendly pool and how easy it was to get to all the parks by using their bus system. Save money and enjoy this gem with your family. Save a little staying here for your fun stuff, you will not regret it.

Resort is showing some heavy wear and tear and requires a revamp , carpets are worn and corridor walls scraped , rooms are completely void of storage space and you will be required to live out of your case despite the room.s being large enough for suitable drawers and wardrobes.

I liked the restaurant area and food. Every plate is made at the moment. Friendly staff, shuttles to the parks is a plus. Expensive daily parking.

This is a great budget hotel to stay at while visiting the Universal Studios. They offer free shuttles to all of the 4 parks and an extra hour in the morning. The staff was amazing! Nothing, our stay was great!

- good price Cons: - can be quite loud at night, especially if your room is close to the bar area - pool looks nice but super shallow. can't really swim. Hours are bizarre too, staff asks you to leave 15 min before closing time

You have to pay for parking 27 dollars per day and you are forced to walk by the most horrendous sewage smell to get from the parking garage to the hotel and depending on where your room is it could be a very long walk the hotel is very poorly designed the rooms are tiny and definitely not worth the cost

Disappointed we lost a day of early ticket entry into park due to an IT issue and the front desk unable to print our room keys and early entry upon arrival. We lost a day of park entry which was disappointing. Then the power went out in the am and not able to purchase tickets or eat breakfast.

Last, the bathroom is not cleaned either. Making the room tidy by fixing the beds is not the same as cleanliness.

The property was just the right size. Smaller than the sister hotel Dockside. Quiet. Wait times for buses were not bad. Always got a seat to and from the parks. The kitchen did not have a lot of choices. Dockside was better food wise. If food selection is not that important because you are eating at the parks it is not s as big deal.

We loved our stay! Beautiful hotel, staff was all friendly and went above and beyond, and the amenities were all wonderful. Will definitely stay here again.

Most of the staff are really helpful, especially at the pool bar with Kendra and Garrett. Now unfortunately that’s where it ends as cleanliness was a real issue for us in the rooms. Floor only cleaned once in 16 nights and bedding only changed on the 11th night and that was only after complaints being made with reception. Speaking to other guests in the hotel it was an issue that they also had. Probably wouldn’t return because of this.

Fabulous location for Universal, regular buses from the hotel throughout the day to the parks. I-trolley outside the hotel, stop No: 5. Great value for money to run up and down International Drive. Pool open until 23.00 hrs with lifeguards in attendance at all times. The interconnecting doors in the rooms aren’t sound proof and our neighbours were quite noisy late at night.

After being involved in a car accident, we had to make a last-minute reservation while stranded on the side of the road for several hours in 93-degree Florida weather waiting for a tow truck. We were exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Marcos went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed and cared for. He was compassionate, patient, and did everything he could to make our stay easier. He even gave my family Starbucks beverage coupons to help lift our spirits after such a hard day. Room size was good and beds comfortable. I gave it three stars for cleanliness because there was so much dust build up above the door frame inside the bathroom that it was visible. That's a lot of dust.

Such a great resort, room was awesome good layout clean and loved the pool and was quiet in the room at night, nice pool bar and great universal store in the lobby. Shuttle buses were always on time and had room. We would definitely stay here again!!!

We got the two bedroom suite and it had 3 queen beds. It was fairly clean , but the floors were not the cleanest. The shuttles were convenient and the pool was nice for some downtime. The price was reasonable considering the time of year we went. I would stay here again.

This was my families first time staying at this resort and first vacation together. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was large enough for 2 adults and 4 teenagers (2 boys, 2 girls). My overall stay was great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The pool was a nice addition, lifeguards are on site, life vests are available for those who cannot swim. The pool is only 3 ft deep and there is a shallow end as well. There is food to order but you’ll probably save more money if you walk to the Walgreens across the street to buy breakfast and microwaveable items. Would stay again

The ambience of the interior lobby, the openness of the pool was very nice The room was very modest, the bed mattress was worn, gave me back ache. The sheets were not soft. The shower handle was hard and bath towel was sort of rough. Overall I think the room fell short and needed an upgrade.

We decided to book this for a last minute trip to Universal. It was easy to check in and the in and out parking was convenient. Having the bus shuttles and early entrance to the park were added perks. It was so convenient. The in house restaurant and Starbucks were all what we needed. The food in this casual kitchen was great. Though not one of Universal’s high end hotel, I love this place. Definitely coming back here. Surfside being a smaller hotel than Dockside was just right for my family.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! VERY clean and the amenities in it were so useful. You have a Starbucks, a quick service restaurant and pizza delivery to your room! What else could you want. The shuttle service to the parks were great and quick. It is within walking distance to a lot of places to eat as well. I will def be staying here again.

The rooms were exactly as pictured. Housekeeping would come in the morning & did not mind coming back while we were away at the parks to clean and change out towels & sheets. The property was nowhere worth what we paid for one night even in peak season. Cherry on top: Michael from lost and found stole my $300 cologne and said they discard liquids from found items. But returned all the other liquids that was in my "lost" cosmetics bag.

Very loud all the time. Our room was on the side with the shuttles and for almost 18 hours a day there are people talking loudly and lights and beeping. Do not recommend unless you are guaranteed a room on the far side.

Everything about our stay was great. The suite was very clean and the park shuttle service was super convenient. It felt safe so we didn’t worry about a thing while there. It wasn’t the most quiet room, but that’s kind of expected when visiting a family destination like this one. Overall we had a blast and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Overall great location & staff, but on the 9th floor it took 9 to 11 minutes to get hot water to come all the way up to our top floor room. For $300/night I expect better than this.

Check in took ENTIRELY too long, and that was without a line. It took nearly 30 minutes. That needs to improve. The room was smaller than I expected. The floors were laminate, which was not comfortable to walk on. The room was quite noisy, and if you were in the bathroom, you could hear your neighbors conversation as if it were in your own room, nevermind stomping of anyone in the hallway and above you. The shower was fine, but the products were just so-so. To turn the shower on, we had to use both hands as the handle was quite difficult to maneuver. At night, you could hear noise (tower 2, garage/parking lot views) from the street and from the hallway. I did love the shuttle service, and the food was fairly priced inside the hotel. The pool was just so-so. It was cold, and the lifeguards blew their whistle so frequently it was hard to relax there. Overall, I'm not sure I would stay here again, but I hope this review is helpful for someone!

Great hotel and very convenient location. Only negative is it takes a very long time for hot water in the shower. Also, the hotel gives one hour early admission to Epic and Islands of Adventure. They should have multiple shuttles available at that time but instead, we waited a good 10-15 minutes.

The staff is really nice. The hotel is close to the parks, the shuttle runs frequently getting to and from is pretty easy. It's clean, the rooms are a good size and priced fairly for the area. The facilities are nice, the pool, the gym, etc. Some things that could be improved. Issues with the room keys not working, it's a big property so if you have to go back to the front desk to fix it after a day at the park it's not what you want to do at that point. Parking is not included in the room price and it's not clearly stated ahead of time, it is a little less expensive than parking at Universal. There is no direct access to the garage, you have to go outside the hotel to the garage. There is an outdoor bar, but no food service. You will need to go inside to order food. On a whole, it's a good value.

We loved the fact that they serviced our room every day. We got fresh towels and bed made up. The property was clean. The pool was wonderful. Grand kids loved it. We also enjoyed the shuttle to and from Universal. The drivers were very friendly. It was a good experience.

The location and accommodations were great. We were close to the parks, busses ran regularly to bring us back and forth, and it was an easy drive from the highway. The staff was friendly and courteous and the rooms were our favorite of the three hotels we stayed in during the course of our Florida adventures. Plenty of room for our family of four. Safe, clean, and comfortable. The added bonus of early park admission made our park days smooth and successful - would not do the parks again without it! 10/10 would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others. Honestly, no complaints here. I stay in hotels regularly for both personal and business travel and this experience was wonderful.

Convenience and shuttles to parks made it a standout location.

Location to the parks and the shuttle transportation availability the bathroom was extremely small and you could not shut bathroom door until you were in the shower.

Marcos that checked us in was very professional and nice. The room was clean. Too bad this suite with 3 queens only had 1 bathroom . Would have liked a thicker comforter but otherwise all good.

I thought it was going to be two bedrooms and a kitchen, but it was actually one bedroom with a closed door and the other two beds in a room with what was supposed to be the kitchen. There was only a sink, a small table a little refrigerator and a microwave, but I guess it was worth it for the convenience of being so close to the parks and being able to ride the shuttle. Not much privacy or space to be comfortable, but very clean and nice.

Love this hotel! The staff is extremely helpful and we were so exhausted from a drive from port after our 8 day cruise. Our flights had been cancelled due to weather and we were “stuck”! So we decided to go to Epic Universe! The Manager checked us in (8 of us) and upgraded us! our rooms! We were so thrilled

What a terrible view of a roof for a resort experience- horrible compared to Cabana Bay and other hotels in the area. Definitely would not stay at Endless Summer again. Stayed at resorts which were priced $40 less to $5 more per night, and Endless Summer Surfside was the least friendly and most blah. We loved our other places. Shower had black crud running into shower floor from the door, during our showers. Had to stand on a towel to shower. Water was warm, but not hot. Toilet ran the whole time we were there and had to keep the door shut to be able to sleep. TV volume was governed very low for my hearing, and many channels were frozen and not working. Had to step into the shower to get the bathroom door closed. Room was much louder than other places. Unpriced drinks in cafe extremely expensive, which is fine but please post prices. Food from cafe was good however, and the Universal Resort bus system was top notch. Overall, the whole experience lacked in comparison to the places we stayed previously on this trip. We wouldn't have moved here, if Cabana Bay and Rosen weren't overbooked once we decided to extend our visit. We would absolutely stay at those two places again.

Great hotel that is very clean, great suite room with great mattresses, nice pool, excellent bus service to parks & City Walk. Early entry was easy and a breeze. Onsite fast serve food is good and pizza is fresh, hot and tasty and could feed 2 people. Overall experience was excellent. However... the overnight manager did not handle a situation very well... at all. No knowledge of how my booking price was messed up.

Breakfast had many options that were good. They even were great with dairy allergy and finding/making fresh alternatives for us. Staff is friendly and efficient at their jobs. The room could have been cleaner; there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and dirt around one of the beds. We let the room service in on our second day so they could clean and they only kind of made the beds ( I say kind of, because I had to find the fitted sheet and pull it all the way up after they made the bed) and gave new towels, and emptied trash cans. They didn't vacuum anything or wipe anything down. Other than that, our stay was good, loved the buses to get to all the universal parks.

The only negative point is that you are unable to open any window on your room. So no fresh air was coming at any time and depending on the air con that got me ill

The check-in process was very smooth. The lady at the desk was very nice, especially considering it was Christmas Eve. It was fast as well. The room was very clean, and very nice with a little kitchenette and dinner table available. We didn’t check out the amenities other than the shuttle to and from the park (easy rides with good driving) and the early park access (only one park but it was very nice to be able to ride two coasters within the hour with very little wait. I think we’ll try to stay here again during a summer visit and stay more than one night for sure to check out the pool and other onsite benefits.

This is probably the best hotel I've stayed in at this price point. It has everything you could want and while it's very large, it doesn't feel completely overwhelming. Staff was so nice - thank you to Marilyn who was so kind to us when we arrived at almost midnight on 12/17 after leaving a different hotel.

Cons: the toilet didn't always flush well unless handle is held down longer and the hot water for the shower seemed to take forever unless we started the flow five minutes before we were getting in. Overall, we will stay again when visiting Universal!

Changing to this accommodation at the very last minute was a brilliant idea. The hotel is sharp and fresh, with decent food options to support. With early admission and shuttle bus to Universal Orlando it is a great option.

2 hour check in line

For the price, the hotel is good. The customer service was great, and the rooms were clean. While the room finishes are basic, they are functional. A small fridge and microwave were a nice bonus. The hotel is super close to many restaurants, within walking distance. The park shuttle runs frequently, but because it is shared with the Dockside resort, the buses were always very full, with people standing in the middle. This made it seem unsafe. The pool was a good size with plenty of chairs and a poolside bar. If I'm on a budget, I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the pool, the Starbucks inside is a great and convenient place to get some snacks and drinks, the hotel had wonderful staff who were very friendly and helpful! Good resort, no frills, close to universal, easy shuttle. Nice pool for relaxing with the kids. It's not a fancy place, but does the job, easy parking in the garage (costs extra). Overall, thought it worked great for what we needed.

Everything was amazing!! The staff was so nice, they upgraded us to a complimentary suite! Bar staff was nice, and when we needed a replacement for conditioner in the shower, they were so fast and nice! Our pizza from the cafe was burnt but it happens and the volume for the TVs wouldn’t go higher than 19 which was odd but we LOVED our stay! 10/10 will do it again!

Stayed for a week with friends to go to the Universal parks and HHN and this is always an excellent hotel option. Clean rooms, incredible staff and great amenities. Can't wait to book my next trip!!!!

Pool area has ample seating and towel stations. Plenty of food options available. All staff I encountered were very friendly. The daily housekeeping just needs improvement. They make beds and change towels, but I would have appreciated the floor being swept when it needed it.

The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to provide excellent service and an enjoyable stay. The walls are thin - at 3 am on Sunday morning after Halloween Horror nights ended, a herd of teens rampaged through the building waking everyone and misbehaving. For quietest stay request top floor farthest from the elevator. Loved the smoked towels, clean rooms, and well appointed kitchenette. Clean and spacious - rooms are much bigger than at Portofino. Could use a few more food options like at Portofino.

Staff was attentive and efficient. The pool was very nice and staffed with life guards. The two bedroom room was a bit small but functional. The in room refrigerator had plenty of space for extra food.

Quick to check in! Room was spacious and clean. The area itself is safe, lots of people walk to surrounding businesses.

We loved our stay here! The buses to and from universal were so convenient so we just had to pay for an Uber to and from the airport. This hotel has a Starbucks, a cafe where you can order food and packaged items like cereal and drinks, and they have their own universal store where you can get many of the items and promotional items they have in the parks. (They even still have the Bunty interactive wands other stores ran out of). Everyone was kind and accommodating to us! Rooms were clean!

There needs to be a bench for disabled people to sit during the check in process if it's going to take 30+ to get checked in. The standing for that long did my back in and I could barely move the rest of the evening.

Great hotel if you want to stay close to the universal parks - the shuttle service worked well. The food was good at the hotel restaurant. Be aware if you want to be in the room more it might not be the hotel for you - its a very simple room bed, bath, tv nothing fancy. Pool was nice but simple.

Great experience from start to finish. Receptionists were very welcoming at check-in and there was a luggage storage facility which was uaeful on day of arrival and departure day. The shuttles to and from the parks ran every 15-20mins and took aboit 5mins to get there. There is a well equipped gym. We had a 2 bed studio which was perfectly spacious for the 3 of us althoigh as others mention storage wasnt great. There are 2 laundry rooms on the 4th and 7th floor which were really useful. All in all a great stay!

Staying at a universal resort makes it so easy to get to all the parks. The shuttle service to and from parks is excellent. The resort pool is really good. Food choice good and fairly priced. As a value resort it beat expectations.

The rooms felt spacious enough and the beds were comfortable. The transportation to and from the parks was excellent as they came frequently enough that we rarely had to wait long. The pool with its beach entry was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

We're very picky with hotels, but this hotel ticked all the boxes. The staff were excellent and have a 'text' system where you can ask for stuff / questions. Asking for extra towels and other stuff was very quick and effective. The bus service and early park entry was excellent. Clean efficient, convenient and well designed hotel and rooms.

Loved our stay at Surfside!! Very clean room/facilities room accommodated the four of us comfortably. Cafe downstairs was a lovely options to have after spending all day at Universal Parks. Starbucks in lobby was also another pleasant options to have. The staff team know what they are doing and do it well everyone was super friendly and happy to help with any of my question. I would recommend anyone to stay here!!

The cleanliness, staff, and ambiance were excellent, and we truly appreciated being upgraded to a suite at no additional cost—it was such a pleasant surprise and made our stay feel extra special. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The only downside was the noise level. I could clearly hear footsteps and movement from the room above, conversations and activity in the hallway, and even noise from the adjacent room. While it didn’t completely ruin our stay, it did affect the peacefulness we were hoping for.

Overall, a nice value resort, with the key benefits being the transportation and early park access. The food options are ok (not a huge deal given easy alternatives for delivery), and the walls are pretty thin - especially when folks are coming back late on a Friday night, you can hear every word as they walk down the hall. One new annoying twist is that they've combined the bus for dockside and Surfside, which means a very crowded ride and sometimes not even getting on the bus because it's already so full from dockside.

Only issue was none of the EV charging stations were functioning properly during my short stay.

Overall, everything was good including the buses to the parks which boarding was right outside of the hotel.. The one gate through the property fence is locked at 9 pm so if you walk to Walgreens for supplies, it becomes a much longer walk.

My mattress was Horrible!!! It was like a pad was on top of a wooden box and half of it was broken and sunk in!

Mini market fine for anything forgotten but big shops a cheap Uber away. Food basic and overpriced but not unexpected given the location. Housekeeping was a bit poor - had to ring down a couple of times and floor wasn't cleaned properly, but overall a good place to stay

Absolutely loved this property! The 2bdrm 3queen beds was perfect for me and my three kid and my sister. The bathroom was a little snug but that’s ok! The eating area was perfect a cute little picnic table style and the kitchenette had a little sink, countertop, microwave and fridge. The pool was a decent size and they had pool toys for the kids to play with. Staff was very nice. My son lost his room key at universal and we were able to get it replaced since they are like souvenirs. The bus to get to universal was great and made it so easy! We will definitely stay again

had to call the desk to have someone turn up the volume on our tv, as they only allow it to go up to level18..with no sound bar,was very hard to hear. The worker came up and mine you it was @8pm and said he’s not allowed to turn it up for us! Sorry not paying a few hundred dollars to hv to argue about the TV volume. Also the room needed to be wiped down better as the remote control was sticky. Other than that it was a decent place to stay.
