This place was so clean the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The suites have towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers and an iron in them. Super close to icon park you can walk there also so many restaurants. They also provide a shuttle bus to the near by parks. Breakfast is not included with your stay other than that I was very pleased.

Where do I begin! So Friday afternoon (6/5/26) our house gets flooded and since we wanted to be out of maintenances way, we decided to do a ‘staycation’ here after reading the reviews. We were all exhausted from dealing with quick packing, loading and dealing with traffic to arrive to the greetings of two welcoming and inviting gentlemen (please forgive me as I forgot their names!!). After the initial card and ID check, they asked ‘what brings you to stay?’ as it was same day reservation. They were the absolute sweetest and attentive after telling them and showing the video the horrors of our day. Greatest gentlemen we could’ve ever encountered and we are so grateful to them both. The room? ABSOLUTELY 10/10!! Mini apartment. Two separate rooms, with a wonderful open living/dining/kitchenette. We will absolutely be staying here in the future (on planned staycations hopefully from now on!) the view was looking right at Icon park with all the pretty attractions. So happy to have stayed here. And we’ll definitely be back!!

The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The room was excellent and bigger than expected. The full size fridge was a wonderful addition. It was all wonderful. The construction across the street was a little loud at times but that isn’t the hotels fault.

The property is old and needs to be updated. Paint peeling, ac stopped working in the middle of the night. The initial room I was give had a foul mold smell. The stove didn’t work very well. The refrigerator didn’t cool all the way.

Myself and my family have stayed at this property multiple times and always have a great experience. The central location close to restaurants and entertainment make this a great spot.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. This was a decent stay. The pool was almost always in use. The arcade was fun and laundry access was a relief. It did end up costing around $18 per load. We loved watching the Sling Shot and the Wheel from our windows. We were right across the street from Icon Park. Having a kitchen really helped. We made small meals. The only problems were small. The elevators weren't air conditioned. Riding in them felt like standing in a greenhouse. One of our bathrooms had issues. The drain in the shower was very slow, leaving yuckyness on the tub. However, overall this hotel is worth it. You get a lot for the money and the location was prime.

We had the most amazing stay!!

I always stay at Sonesta's es suites. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen is great so that I can cook spaghetti for my little ones.

Hotel was nice, staffing was really helpful, but bedroom cleaning was not enough, first day had an odor, and some pictures in floor. During the stay, never cleaned the room, took out the trash nor did the bed.

Everything was wonderful. Perfect location. We walked to everything. Room was great. Staff was fantastic. Decor was funky and cheerful. Only thing I would change is the air conditioning blower is aggressive and blasts cold air on you when you are in the sink/bathroom area. Easy solution was to just turn off the air until you are done in that area. 100% would come back!

sleeping beds were not good enough, the bed was leaning on one side. Sofa bed was very old and the signs of weer were clearly visible.

Facility was nice and clean. The vinyl flooring in the suite was much better than the carpeting we seen in other hotels. Did not like not having an open breakfast or coffee corner in the morning. Second bathroom had a non-slip liner in the bath that was peeling off and looked bad. However staff was extremely friendly and the pool and exterior were very clean and well maintained. Other than the bathtub the everything was nice.

The room we had was perfect for our family of 4. Pool was perfect as was the hot tub. Only suggestion would be that kitchenette needs a couple more pots and pans.

We were in room 149 it was slightly noisy at night in one bedroom as it was right across the road from Icon park. It didn't bother on the whole as everyone was exhausted at night but if your a light sleeper I would request a room away from that side

Kitchen was equipped with stove, refrigerator, & microwave, but no oven. The bed was very comfortable. Very disappointed that for a two bedroom suite, that there was no balcony or outdoor area. Also disappointed that there were no vent fans in the bathrooms. Snacks were VERY expensive. Be sure to stop at Walmart first.

Great hotel in a great spot on i-drive. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Pool area was always clean and tidy. Rooms were very big and very quiet. Rooms a little dated but clean. Beware of the little shop on-site as its incredibly expensive.

overall I find the property great for the friendliness of the staff, amenities and the location to the theme parks.

The hotel is a nice affordable option for couples or families staying in Orlando. It’s close to Disney world and Universal, as well as many restaurants and other attractions. Overall not bad.

It was close to everything I needed Publix, gas station, Walgreens and restaurants. I love the fact I can get breakfast in the lobby. I started my day with Starbucks in the lobby. This hotel had all the connivence needed for my stay. Lots of family was also visiting.

Because this was a surprise for my husband I called to ask if I could checkin earlier than the 4pm checkin time. The front desk person (female) took my name and number and within 25 minutes called me back and informed me they had a room and to come and decorate. That was definitely a life-saver so I was able to checkin 3 hours earlier. This will definitely be our spot for all staycations as well as the preferred location for visiting family and friends. Thanks for making our wedding anniversary staycation worth it! We’ll see you again! Darlene and Thomas Jones

Staff very friendly. Rooms are nice, but the rooms and the property are starting to look a little aged. Area is packed with restaurants, nightlife, and a small carnival. I would stay again with my family.

The free shuttle service is just once in the morning and night, not super convenient. Also, and this was the biggest negative, the bed mattress are extremely hard. To the point where my shoulders and neck hurt every morning and I would wake up multiple times at night. I might not stay here again because of how hard the mattress are.

We loved the area! We were at the Flags Swim Meet which was just around the corner! Everything we needed was within walking distance!

Many of the reviews highlighted how friendly the staff were and I must agree. Energetic, welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in a ground floor unit with a king and pull out sofa. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we need. And COOL and QUIET! I was nervous with the price being so fair, but no regrets! Would stay here again.

Floors were filthy in the rooms, literally had to clean my daughter’s feet every time before getting on the bed. Burners for stove took forever to heat up, like 30 mins just to boil water, loud dogs next door. One of the rooms tubs wouldn’t drain. Really a disaster. Besides that it’s a good location

When we entered the room, I really liked the bright colors and overall look. However, the room itself was very warm upon arrival. Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our comfort during the stay. The shower kept filling up with water in the bathtub area, and there was noticeable mold in the shower. The toilet was extremely loud, and the toilet paper holder appeared to be held on with caulk, which did not feel secure. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable, and the bedding was not warm enough, especially with temperatures dropping to around 26 degrees overnight. Additionally, the bedroom layout made it difficult for our family to easily navigate to the bathroom, which was inconvenient. While the staff was welcoming and check-in was smooth, the room condition and layout issues made the stay less comfortable than expected.

The staff were amazing! They happily accommodated an early check in, and the room was nice and clean. This place is right in the middle of all the action on international drive, super close to sea world and universal studios. All of this and plenty of room for our family of 6! We will be back :)

Outdated, no room service even when requested: they wouldn’t make the beds after 6 days stay. Bathroom light flickering: requested replacement lightbulb several times but they ignored it. Not enough parking spaces.

Outdated, no room service even when requested: they wouldn’t make the beds after 6 days stay. Bathroom light flickering: requested replacement lightbulb several times but they ignored it. Not enough parking spaces.

Best think about this place is location, location, just across the street of restaurants and other entertaiment spots. Rooms are fair, quite acomodating, and more important reasonable priced. I definitely recommend this place for your stay at Orlando area.

I loved our room, I just wish it had been a bit bigger so we could fit a pack-and-play or something travel-size for our 6-month-old. It barely fit between the bed and the wall.

New towels were put in but there was still previous soaps in the shower from the previous guest. The floors were not vacuumed and nasty. I will never be staying at this property or another sonesta again.

Everything was great!

The layout of the room was perfect but there was a strong moldy/musty smell. We were coughing by morning. The bedroom/bathroom walls look like they had previous water damage. The hot water handle on the sink didn't work, so only cold water. The lever to switch between shower and bathtub didn't work. The bathroom floor wasn't clean.

I wanted to plan something special for a milestone birthday in Orlando. There’s obviously a ton of hotels to choose from in the Orlando area. I refined my search by looking for hotels with kitchen amenities. Then again, by searching for suites. And further again by searching for separate suites. Sonesta ES Suites Orlando - International Drive hit it out of the park! Before I even arrived, Gerold and Vanessa answered all my questions via email regarding amenities, proximity to destinations, restaurants, groceries, etc. When I arrived, Juan at the front desk said, “I remember you from your email about grocery delivery. Welcome!”. The suite was humble and cozy. Modern decorations have been added, and the separate sleeping suites were perfect; each with its own full bathroom and closet. We didn’t even need to interact with the Sonesta team while we were there for nine days. And proximity? We simply walked across the street to the Icon Park restaurants for dinner each evening. The pool was warm, the hot tub was relaxing, and everything from the parking lot to the elevators was clean and maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation while staying in Orlando. Sonesta ES Suites - Orlando International Drive was perfect for our stay. Value, comfort, rooms, but the team members who helped us before and during our stay were the rock stars. We’ll be back!

I stayed at this property many years ago and it was very clean and well kept, perfect really. I booked it for a night recently and waa excited to see what i remembered from my previous stay. I was very disappointed. The tube dripped very badly and the bathroom sink did not drain. There were crumbs of food in the pull out sofa bed and no linens for it. Linens were brought when we requested. The elevators were very dirty, especially the windows. I remember the last time i stayed that was one of the highlights, the glass elevators oveelooking the pool. Bathrooms were veey dirty.

We didn’t eat breakfast there but the room was great and well worth the money!

Suites are large, clean and comfortable. Staff is extremely hospitable and genuinely kind. Conveniently located with restaurants and shopping. Theme park transportation also available.

Easy the get to things and quite rooms

Would like to recognize Vanessa at the front desk. This is the 5th stay at Sonesta ES international drive. She is wonderful polite energetic and extremely competent. Sonesta is very lucky to have such a great employee as Vanessa.

This was our second visit in two years. The suites were refurbished three years ago, but are already showing wear and tear. The reception staff are excellent and were quick to send maintenance for issues.

The best thing about this hotel is it central location. Lots of excellent restaurants and bars located within walking distance.

I liked the location. I did not like that the room smelled super musty. The smell was so strong when I arrived I had to try and prop the door open but it didn't really help. The room would have been great if it was not for the smell.

Always the place for my family to stay

To begin with, the front desk staff could be more welcoming—it felt more like a visit to the USPS or DMV than a hospitality experience. They are in the hospitality industry, not just basic customer service, and that should be reflected in their approach. The room maintenance was acceptable overall, but there were some issues. We found leftover hair in one of the bathrooms, the bathtub was scratched, and some of the utensils were not properly cleaned. On a positive note, the A/C in the living room was excellent—it kept the area cool and comfortable. However, the A/C in one of the bedrooms was underperforming, which forced us to sleep with the door open for airflow. We originally reserved the room for five nights but ended up leaving a day early. When I went to check out, there was a different front desk staff member. I informed her that we were checking out early, and she simply responded, “We’ll charge you for the afternoon and remove the fee for the next day. Since it was a third-party reservation, there’s nothing else I can do.” While I appreciated the information, I believe she should have asked about our stay and what may have led to our early departure. On the positive side, I’ve stayed at many hotels in the area, and this property still offers the best bed by far. The pool was great for my daughter, and the maintenance and housekeeping staff were friendly.

The Location is the best location close to everything. Everything was super great except the room did have a mold smell to it that was overpowering. I didn’t let it get to me as much due to my family being out until it was time to go to sleep. I noticed the bathrooms didn’t have an air vent.

He stayed at this hotel for a volleyball tournament. The room was very spacious and the location was convenient, but the room smelled musty and the popcorn ceiling debris was on the bed. The linens are not very nice but the hotel staff was. Parking was difficult and we had to park along the sidewalk. They said they don’t tow, but it was difficult to find a spot even on the sidewalk.

The layout of the suite was really nice, and the kitchen area was all you really needed. The air conditioning was a little inconsistent, in that one bedroom was too warm, the other too cold. The common area was nice to sit and talk.

Over all everything was good except for the kitchen sink was leaking and the freezer ice maker was not working.

The stay was good. My family was really comfortable. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. We saved money going to the grocery store and cooking our own food. The only issue was hooking up a game console for the kids seemed nearly impossible as the outlets were too far from the tv. The stand was bolted so you cant hook anything up.

We have stayed at this same Sonesta a few times in the past and things have drastically changed. Even though the staff was nice. There was no housekeeping available, and no more complementary breakfast. The room was clean but the bathtub was in horrible condition. There is a very unsanitary slip grip lining in the tub that was peeling up and very nasty. We showered with flip flops on. Unfortunately we will no longer be choosing this hotel to stay at for future business/ conventions/ or personal events.

This property was perfect for us when we had to stay for a volleyball tournament. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect for us and our teenagers!

We love this hotel and stay every year for a swim meet. Roxy at the front desk is amazing and always makes sure we have everything we need. The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. She gave us the ground floor as requested in a perfect location. I asked for extra pillows and blankets and it was in the room by the time we got back from dinner. The rooms are comfortable and can fit the whole family. Will definitely stay again.
