Prison ward or psych ward type facility. Do not recommend unless you looking for a halfway house rule book with the rates. And half the air conditioners don’t work in Florida in the summer. Lucy turned up the heat fo sho.

TV was accessible, probably didn't pay bill. Coffee pot was broken in room, none in lobby. Dog barking in room nextdoor. Drug smells

This hotel was possibly the biggest bait and switch ive ever seen. The A/c in the room could barely cool a drip of water let alone a whole room. The cleanliness was subpar and I felt like id catch a disease from just existing inside. The Pest situation was out of control with Large roaches and small bugs everywhere. If you can avoid being here do so at ALL COSTS!!

Nothing The property needs a full rehab, rooms are dated and musty, would never stay there again

Upon checking in, everything seemed ok for the price. That evening we come back to the room, ready to relax and put down the blankets only find something very nasty. I will hope it was a stain however, it looked pretty fresh and disgusting. My husband immediately went to the office and tried to explain was cut off by the man at the office. Said well do you want new bedding or something and had my husband to follow him.He gave him a set of sheets and walked away. This was handled unprofessional and the guy was rude and just seemed like he was bothered by us even saying anything about it. Parking was limited and not very handicap accessible to get to my room. Cracks around bottom of outside door let bugs in! Most of the room was OK, the bed was comfortable but popped. They don’t clean very good at all. There was food stains on the wall and dirt around the bottom of everything, holes around the bathtub & the bathtub is very stained up looking. We were in a room with a jetted tub so that was one of the main reasons we got the room so of course we wanted to use the tub. The floor around the tub is also very warped from water damage. You can see water lines all the way out into the room, where the bed is. Housekeeping did not come the next day or bring fresh towels. People getting high in the parking lot and a crazy fight with lots of noise that resulted in two police cars on the second night. The lamp beside bed doesn’t even work. Location was the only thing I really enjoyed
- 2/5
Check in lobby is always locked. They buzz you in. Bath Room had blistering paint and cracked fiberglass tub. No shampoo. No coffee maker. Very thin towels. Stains on bedspread. No one came in to remove trash or make the bed the four nights I stayed. Trash hauler arrives at 5AM to make sure you wake up early. Lots of street noise all night long.

Nothing. The place is fitly and expensive. Right at the start there was a menstrual pad stapled at the smoke detector and the room was a non smoke room with a STRONG smoke smell. I went to the reception (which we have to wait a long time for someone to let us in) and the girl (not her fault I want to make it clear, she was just ding her job) to ask to change room and the staff asked if we had undo the beds already and she would have to come and check. At her arrival we complained of the strong smell of cigarette and showed the THING on the smoke detector... she said that was a non smoke room and that they were full and the only rooms available were smoke room and smelled worst. We were so tired and had no choice but to sleep in the terrible room. Red Roof should be ashamed of charging that much and post misleading pictures of a nice and clean room while offering something totally matching that. Never again, STAY OUT! EVERYTHING! Filthy room; broken furniture, no working TV, disgusting bathroom (I did not have the courage to shower), cockroaches, pricy.... EVERYTHING DISGUSTING! Booking.com also should not keep this place as an option, is terrible. The pictures offered are totally misleading, the place is a total run down. Never again.

Room was good and had a pool for the kids that was safe because the lady only unlocked it when an adult was present, but I saw a roach I will not be going back I hope that when I get home I don’t see any in my luggage! Friendly staff though. Just kind of dirty.
- 2/5
I did not like the area the hotel was in. The presentation online is not what it looks like in person. I did not like that I had to pay a different price then what was online. The price was not worth it. I stayed at Wyndham Garden next to Disney Springs cheaper than that per night and I was on Disney property.

We had ran into an issue arriving in Orlando & didn’t get into an apt which forced us to seek a hotel. Was skeptical of this brand hotel & the outdoor pool as were used to indoor pools & different brands. I’m so glad I took a leap of faith because it was perfect! It was clean, perfectly laid out floor level room & location even on windy days. We had the most comfiest king size room, bed ever & slept like a baby! It was so cleaned w/plenty of space for traveling w/an elementary schooler & service cat. Most hotels have lukewarm waters in their baths, but I liked mine more hottier & they delivered exactly to my comfort levels! The waters for the pool were perfect! Not this freezing cold ones! Will stay here again the next time we are in the area. Oh the room prize is so budget friendly! Check in was a breeze! They opened the pool for us to swim in between the storms. The laundry guy opened the pool for us since it was locked & we had permission to swim. Former 8 yrs lifeguard & Navy brat wished to give more than 5 stars review! Thanks again!

The property was fine. I mean you get what you pay for, is a super pet friendly property. The only thing uncomfortable was the person next-door. He was constantly making question about my French bulldog, but that’s not related to the hotel per se. The premises were clean. The room was clean, super fast check in and check out.
- 1/5
Dirty room, bad smell inside room, bathroom dirty and we saw a little frog in the bathroom. We didn’t even stay for 5 min. Not a hotel for my family.

Showed up and told they over booked and canceled our reservation, and never told us. Everything in the state was sold out and slept on car in parking lot. Booking.com has been no help and has hung up on us 6 times. The hotel said sorry and that was it. Booking.com said they'd give me a free cancellation. I didn't want a cancellation, I wanted a room. Have tried contacting by phone, website, and Facebook. Absolutely the worst company to book with and no resolve. Showed up and told they over booked and canceled our reservation, and never told us. The television made a sputtering noise every 3-5 seconds on EVERY channel over 21 so it was impossible to watch anything. The TWO (!) towels in the bathroom were small and thin. Fortunately, we did not have to stay long. One positive note: after we reported these issues, the front desk clerk did come to the room The only change she could facilitate at the late hour of 10 pm, however, was to swap out one of the bedspreads.

Very bad, tv and ac werent work. Very dirty place.

- 3/5
They need to put a disclaimer that this is a motel that people are living in… long term. I was surprised this was listed on Expedia where I booked. Also the room was sticky. Everywhere. And stained. We went out and got sanitizing wipes and paper towels and wiped everything down. I’m pretty sure the pillows were older than my teenager. We put our tshirts over the pillow cases for extra protection. However the staff were courteous and the parking lot was lit up like daylight all night so it felt very secure. It was very cheap and we only needed it for one night but you definitely get what you pay for
- 4/5
The staff is nice, the place is clean. The only "complain" I have is that I could hear people talking very late at night, other than that the place is good.
- 1/5
Check in was delayed by 1-1/2 hours. Old rooms. Smell of weed. Sketchy guests. Room door had to be kicked to open as it would stick to the jamb. No house keeping during stay. I won't be back there anytime soon.
- 2/5
More of a weekly motel. People sitting outside of the room many signs or very strict rules weird for a motel of short term stay.
- 5/5
Clean property nice rooms but the housekeeping people are very rude. They have a loud cart that sounds bad and woke me up at 10am. My stay was still 11am. She told me to kiss her ass when I told her to get a better cart for housekeeping The housekeeping woman instead of apologizing for waking me up early she cussed me out.
- 1/5
The rooms were HORRID!! Roaches. Smoke . Sheets were soiled. I provided the pics. All around just terrible. It shouldn’t be on Expedia.
- 2/5
Very cheap hotel. The front desk area was very small. No breakfast. Everything in the room was very cheap. The cleaner didn’t speak English and interrupted us several times even we got up.
- 1/5
Fantastic room if you’re into contracting syphillis! From the orange sludge dripping from the bathroom exhaust fan to the rodent feces in the dresser drawers, youll be feeling right at home! Oh and dont forget the exposed electrical outlet that leaves a door for your little roach friends to spend the night with you! You’ll also feel so safe and secure with your inoperable dead bolt to your door! Dont forget to take a dip in the pool before you leave this wonderful establishment that hosts an inch of slime to eliminate the smoke smell from your room! Safe travels!
- 1/5
First room key didnt work, then there was a hair on the bed and the comfortor was badly stained. Second room had roaches, French Fries. Reception desk gave me a giant can of Raid, and I couldnt wait to check out the next am.
- 4/5
However, after seeing some of the other super shady motels in this area, I actually get it. This place is actively trying to keep the shady business and the wrong crowd away. It feels like they are fighting to keep the place decent. I would take the extra hassle and strict staff over an unsafe environment any day. I appreciate the effort they are putting in to keep it safe.

There was no soap or shampoo in the shower. The room was very dirty. The vending machine took my dollar and staff didn’t do anything about it.
- 3/5
The staff were very nice. It wasn't noisy to me. The room is very dated. TV channels very limited and picture quality so blurry I struggled to watch football. Toilet seat was broken so it was slip and slide sitting. I really for a cheaper short stay it's doable.

Staff was nice! Rooms were cleaned!

Rooms are old and appear worn and not that clean. Stains on the blanket, cover and mattress sheets. Flooring in the bathroom was coming unglued. Mattress boxspring excessively noisy sounds like springs squeaking (no we weren’t going that). Sink didn’t have the stop covering the drain hole at all. Never seen where they check you in through a security window without letting you in the lobby. It was about 9pm when we checked in. People sitting in the parking lot with a barking dog, possibly homeless. One of the keycards didn’t work. WiFi was weak at best. Was one of those hotels that instead of not wanting to leave, you are looking forward to it. Not sure why they have decent reviews. I normally stay in Hilton garden inn but they were booked. Price on this hotel was $88.73 but it felt like a $50-$60 motel.

Very dirty, roaches and just filthy
- 3/5
It was close to the mall and many food place It needs maintenance.
- 1/5
The woman at the front desk would not give clear directions to the Red Roof Inn when I asked for them over the phone. I was at the Mall across the street. It should have been simple. She then put me on phone hold and never picked back up after a 3 minute wait.
- 2.5/5
The location No visitors, I'm not a teenager. I never heard of such crap.

Front desk couldn't find my reservation. The second night the room keys deactivated. There was people hanging out in the parking lot all hours of the night having loud conversations etc etc.

Issues: 1) Key needed to be reprogrammed several times of my 2 night stay- I had to find other accommodations for my 3rd night. 2) bed was a brick 3) 2 towels had pubic hair embedded 4) air conditioner rattled to no end 5) security lights beam into the room 6) constant noise from people, traffic, and car music in the parking lot- I even heard someone try my door at midnight- it was the hotel clerk- i assume doing security checks- not sure why 7) coffee was old/cold- gross- what a mess that was as good coffee (for me) cures the worst hotels ever 8) I should of cancelled my reservation as soon as I encountered the remote locking front door. Yes- this hotel is in that sort of environment 9) no towel for the shower floor- no biggie- I used a towel with the pubic hair (yep- I used the other to dry off- don’t judge- I didn’t realize till after the shower) after I picked up the shower floor towel- dead roaches (floor is dark n I didn't see them) 10) room was never cleaned- not surprised. 11) canceled a day early- and told I wouldn't be refunded- “I have to talk to the manager” - I wasnt contacted and have yet to see a refund. If you stay here- dont say you weren’t warned.

No heat, bed bugs. We went to the front desk. No manager on site so there's nothing they can do . We literally checked out 2 ours after check in and basically lost that money

My stay started out great until the room above me started pouring toilet water down into my room on my last night there, the AC went on the fritz, and the manager of the hotel told their staff that was on duty Saturday night not to switch me and my husband out of the toilet water leaking room but thank God he didnt listen to her!!!!! I have been coming to this same hotel for over 5yrs and that one night has brought me to my decision of going to another hotel.

We needed a place to stay that offered little to no pet fee, as there was a cat to consider. The A/C in our home went out and with FL weather being in record highs, we didn't want to spend another hot evening there. This Red Rood Inn gave us comfy beds and a cool room, which is what we needed. There were some miscellanous stains on the ceiling, some pieces of what appeared to be breaded chicken skin on the curtains and bathroom door (small pieces but still), and the TV was severely outdated... but overall, we were content and comfortable. We had a microwave, mini fridge, clean sheets/towels, and a BRIGHT, camera-filled parking lot to make us feel secure. I will be honest, the area of this inn can be considered sketchy. Despite being close to the FL mall and eatery plazas, OBT is known by locals for "ladies of the night" and criminal activity. We didn't see or experience any, thankfully... but something worth mentioning for out-of-towners.
- 1/5
I have already made a FORMAL complaint!
- 1/5
It did not feel safe. There was a very funny smell in the room. It was noisy and had people living in the motel that did not seem to be very nice. We stayed for approximately 1 hour, called an uber and went to a different hotel. We did not feel safe.
- 1/5
This place is God Awful. They make you sign a disclosure protecting against assault , rap*, and property loss or damage. Think crack addicts and who*res stay here. Window was pushed in and staff said it was ok after put back on rails. DUMP NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM EXPEDIA, torn down and replaced with an empty lot.
- 3/5
Older motel style accommodation that shows its age.
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
When we arrived at the hotel for our 3 night stay, immediately we were told that there would be NO WATER, in anyones room, for hours. The pool was absolutely gross, not one person in 3 days used it. Not one time did housekeeping come to our room. Location is good, thats about it.
- 3/5
No comment
- 3/5
Rooms are quite frankly disgusting. They are very dated, and very dirty. The lobby is in perpetual lockup. You need to buzz to get in. To top it off I put a cockroach outside that was roaming the floor. I will never, ever, stay at a Red Roof Inn again, anywhere. Really lousy place. acceptable at $20.00 a night, as a flophouse.
- 3/5
Not great not terrible… good sized clean room… tv picture sucked a bit… bathroom was a bit gross.. and the toilet was questionable… a weird beeping sound outside the entire time… but it was fine for a night…
- 4/5
The room was clean. Room smelled good when we walked in. The property could use some upkeep as far as ppl throwing trash in the parking lot. And also need the ash tray/bin emptied. Smoking section is across the parking lot by the pool area. It is very hard to get out of the parking lot to go get food or drinks or anything else u need. Constant u turns.

Room was infested with ants.

By far my worst experience with expedia. I tried too book a hotel near to my cousins sweet 16 event and had to deal with a world of problems. Including a 4:00 pm check IN not a 3:00 pm check in as stated, which Including sitting in my car for an entire hour. What disappointed me the most was my elderly aunt was traveling with me and i booked a first floor double bed A MONTH AGO and was told there are no more first floor rooms. I had to help push her up the stairs for an entire 30 minutes. The walls are thin and you can hear everything outside. The sheets and towels are thin and itchy. They book you in through a window and you are not allowed in the hotel lobby. I even had to go down stairs for the remote control for the TV. Please don’t book here.
- 2/5
Door for the room had been beaten in so many times the dead bolt lock wouldn't engage. The credit card keys for the lock quit working, front desk had to let me in with their key. TV only seemed to work on 6 channels. Noisy people in room next door. Property not in great shape, parking lot is very narrow and fills up fast. You can find much better.
- 4/5
It was all okay
- 1/5
The smell of cigarets was impossible, the sheets were stained black, and there was blood on the floor. If I could give it negative stars I would... Don't stay here.
- 1/5
Unfortunately we didn't get to stay . Do not book here if you are doing pay later they will give your room to paying customers. I called noon the day of my stay to let them know I would be arriving late due to late flight . the lady that answered said it was fine . I get there around 11pm they wanted me to sign a waiver for mold asbestos and other things so I asked to see the room. Dead bugs stains on comforter . It was late so we decided to stay I booked 2 rooms come to find out because I didn't pay in advance they gave the rooms away and because supposedly I didn't call and there was no note that the day shift left for them to know I was a late arrival. about this time it was already 1230 so much time wasted just to tell me the rooms were booked to paying customers. Again you get what you get for a cheap hotel but because it was only a 1 night stay we didn't need a fancy hotel but we ended up at one anyway thanks for Ramada by Windham for coming through for us at 2am ❤️❤️
- 1/5
Poor room maintenance
- 4/5
I had a really good stay at the Red Roof. The staff are really nice. Room was spacious. I did see one cockroach coming out of the drain in the bathtub which freaked me out. And the microwave was dirty inside which I asked to get it cleaned twice and never happened. But luckily I didn't need to use it. The fridge and freezer was spotless. And the beds are super comfortable. They could use better pillows but I am guessing they have the ones they have cause it is a budget Inn. Next time if I stay again I will be dealing direct with the Inn for booking as I paid and extra 250.00 US going through Hotels.com which I am not impressed with.

We got in late on Saturday. When I got to the room the door wasn’t even shut, turns out the door has to be slammed shut, I was not strong enough to get it to latch so we had to keep our suitcase in front of the door all night. Went to take a shower no towels at all and lobby was closed. Got into bed and it was damp and smelled of chlorine. Noticed there was a leak in the ceiling dripping on the dresser and the bed. By then it was already midnight so I just put a plate there to help - it didn’t- because of that and the ac in the room just kept shutting off I’d have to get up to turn it on never getting lower than 78 and not staying on for longer than an hour. By the morning I was ready to go. I went to check out and they front desk lady just said okay got you - didn’t ask for a name or room number- didn’t type anything in the computer. So I called and asked them to check they said they couldn’t check me out of the room because it was done through a third party site. Okay so went through Expedia who was great but the hotel said to call back the next day at 8am to talk to someone who could handle this. Mind you all I wanted was to check out and make sure I wasn’t being charged for a second night, We had to spend extra money to move hotels due to medical conditions. It took 8 calls being on hold for 6-5 mins at a time ( which isn’t long if there was a problem) but I wasn’t even asking for a refund though I shouldn’t have to pay a damn dime. Just to be told yes I was checked out

Pool not open during holiday weekend. Electronic keys not working.
- 1/5
You have to sign a waiver about not leaving your children in room unattended lest they will initiate a call to Children and Family Servixes.
- 1/5
The room was very spacious and pretty clean. But the dog walk had not been maintained. We stepped in poop with in 5 minutes of arriving. And the parking lot was so small a vehicle could not turn around. The guests I saw there were unkept. We couldn't even stay the entire night-we left and lost our money. An awful experience. The front desk woman had incredible customer service abilities. Some other business needs to hire that woman.

Nice and clean.
- 1/5
There was a high level of talking noise outside late into the night and extremely loud cars that sounded like they were drag racing. The bed was quite creaky. Overall, I would never stay there again.
- 5/5
This place was perfect for one night, pet’s are free and no security deposit! I’d stay here again for a 4th time! I always come back haha
- 3/5
The room was nice, the other people staying there were nice, but the staff were very rude
- 3/5
Bedding clotting looked dirty
- 5/5
Everything was great I even had a early check in
- 1/5
When I arrived at 4:30 pm the door to the lobby was locked. No way to check in. The entire place looked derelict, and seemed most likely to be housing people who might otherwise be homeless. I cannot believe this was the hotel recommended as an overflow option for the hotel where my event was. I immediately booked a room elsewhere.
- 1/5
The room was not clean and they had an awful smell.
- 3/5
The woman that checked us in was very nice, the room was clean, smelled nice when we first walked in.. upon our stay, we seen multiple roaches run across the floor.
- 1/5
Property was dirty inside and out. They advised me that my credit card was declined when the booking had already been confirmed, my card charged and the transaction had gone through. While I was trying to straighten this out, a man came into the lobby complaining of cockroaches in his room and demanding to be moved. As they would not check me in, I just left and went somewhere else. Now I have to dispute the charge.
- 4/5
We didn't expect much here because of the low price and ratings online but it was perfect for our needs and clean and comfortable.

Excellent
- 1/5
Broken shower. TV wouldn't turn on. Dirty floors. Electrical hazard. Noisy neighbors.
- 1/5
We went to this property, but could not stay. The rooms were horrific dirty run down and had mold. They also have a contract to house the homeless. You should take them off your list and never send anyone there.
- 1/5
close to Florida mall.
- 1/5
This was by far the worst hotel experience ever. The room was in badly in need of repair. There was no housekeeping service, had to call the front desk twice because of the noise including a woman screaming at 6:30 AM on Sunday morning. the lobby is locked 24 hours a day, had to wait for 20 minutes to get a new key because there was no one at the front desk. Ridiculously bad and a waste of my money to Expedia for this stay. You couldn't pay me to go back there. Seemed more like a zoo than a hotel!
- 2/5
Too old and not mantained properly in an unsafe area.
- 5/5
Nice staff clean rooms only thing I had spiders, fruit flies, Mosquitos, in my room and something bite me and I think reason why is because the front doesn't shut all the way in there's a crack when u close it and there was a burnt stain on the bed sheets.
- 1/5
Stay far away Very unsafe motel
- 1/5
We had a late arrival. The hotel is lit up like day time. People wandering around outside who don't look they belong there. The office as a window in the wall to check in. It was prepaid and she charged us again. We got to our room. there were people talking loud and rapping in front of our room til about 2:30 in the morning. The bathroom door did not fit in the frame so couldn't be closed. The faucet in the sink had to be fooled with to come on and to turn off. This must have been their best room because it had a jetted tub but actually it was a tub that had been jerry jigged to have a hand held shower head added on. The floors (no carpet) were disgusting with tape or scratches or something on them. The bed and bedding were comfortable but we touched nothing. The potty seat wasn't secured on the toliet. We woke up and left at 5:15. I told the person on duty about the double charge and she graciously fixed it. She was the best think about the stay. The room key had an ad about trafficking. I will never forget this place!

Reviews for this place must be fake. Room was dirty with mold and stains everywhere. Floor had what looked like blood stains going into the bathroom and onto the toilet. Hotel room smelled awful like the cleaning person was chain smoking while cleaning. Just kidding this place wasn’t cleaned. Stay away…

I can say I was pleasantly surprised with the pillows and the bed that I received during my stay. I think the bed might have even been new. The pillows were a bit thin but still comfortable and didn't hurt my neck when I woke up. I had a king and found zero issues with it. Kinda reminds me of my bed when it was new. The shower. Oh boy where do I start. The room had a Jacuzzi tub, great. Lots of space, not like most hotel showers. But that's the only good thing. I've stayed all over the country in many different hotels. And I've had weak water pressure in some really really nice hotels and great pressure in cheap ones. But this, this was comically bad. As soon as I turned on the water I could tell I wasn't going to enjoy it. The shower head leaked, the water was either boil your nuts off or ice cold. It was a very fine line. But man that pressure, it just dribbled out of the shower head and could barely get you wet. Thank goodness I have short hair cause it would have taken forever to wash. Other than it's just an old hotel, I really can't complain to much. It was cheap and close to the event i was going to. I will say the parking lot, incrediblely small so be prepared for that. Would I stay there again, probably.

My health and all Went crazy when I tried to stay there… something’s up.. I don’t know if that’s like a drug den or something and maybe cause of the fact it’s a pet hotel Too For animals allowed .. I don’t know but it was the biggest fail of a hotel I have ever set foot in ;( . I’m still Detoxing from being there two minutes

Upon booking this hotel and looking through the website I believed this place to be affordable and also very beautiful. Upon arrival I quickly realized that the website was falsely advertised. It states that the lobby is accessible as well as coffee being provided in said lobby. The lobby was closed and a long term guest informed me that it had been closed since covid. The website also states that a pool was a key amenity but was closed throughout the entire duration of my stay. No room service was provided and I had to asked for clean towels every day. The blankets we're broken and the pillows were stained. I would like to submit pictures.

The room floors are wood which is better than carpet, but they were not clean. The AC was not working just the fan in it. The microwave had food from the previous customer, and we had to remove to use it. The room telephone is disconnected and had no way of contacting the front desk. Overall, a very bad experience.

The room smelt like 5 people who each smoked a pack a day had stayed in there, the windows have no screens so we could really air it out. The floors in the rooms were sticky. The sheets had multiple stains on them. Overall it was a horrible experience
