The room smelled like moldy dish water. We saw small roaches in the room and they were doing construction in the rooms above us at all hours. It was not a great place to stay. Do not recommend and will not go back.

If you need a place to stay one night then this is a place for you. It’s just one night it’s decent.

The room was very modern and recently remodeled. The room had a wet musty smell when I got there through the night. I was woken up before 7am with very loud drilling and grinding sounds and an alarm going off for hours right next door. A brand new hotel is being built. Had I known that I wouldn't have booked there. Part of what I was so looking forward to was being able to sleep in.

Room was recently renovated, you could fin dust under the sofa. Bathroom has nowhere to put your toiletries and nowhere to hang the towels. There was only one person at the front desk and this was graduation weekend. Breakfast on a Sunday morning ended at 9 am!!! This property has a lot of potential but still needs a lot of TLC.

It was close to where I was working during the visit. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

Dirty furniture, stained linen, and cockroaches in all the three rooms that they showed me. The lounge has stained coaches and rugs with dead cockroaches on the floor. When I walked into the first room the coach looked so dirty and long behind a roach appeared on the couch and a couple behind the beds in all the room we were shown. The staff were helpful, no complaints towards them at all. In addition,, after I canceled the hotel charged two unauthorized transactions to my card. I had to close my card and file for fraud charges. The lady at the front desk said she had no idea why and she will ask her manager and her back to be. It’s been 4 days now. Lastly, I still have not received the deposit that was supposed to go back on my card the same day.

Horrible horrible horrible experience. We switched room three times because of bugs in sink/shower/cups, mold, dead bugs in bed. Doors do not fully close. No breakfast was really available, they only offered coffee, water and tea. No extra towels available. And construction being done next door and their start time was 6am. Front desk was rude and unable to do anything. Also hidden fees once we arrived and an extra $200 deposit requested to check in.

A litle motel for a little stay

Parking lot not ideal for a larger vehicle, no bells or whistles, A/C was good and cold, water pressure was like a fire hose(good for me), hardly any channels on the tv and kinda hard to find the stations we wanted, there was a quarter inch gap under the door which let in some bugs when it started to rain, the bathroom door didn’t open all the way and it was a tight space. All in all it was close to where i needed to be for shops and restaurants, but not sure if I would stay there again

There were so offputting people around the hotel. Several people sitting in the cars smoking. The breakfast area was roped off for 2 mornings. We had staff come to our door at 8am saying we needed to change rooms for scheduled furniture, etc updates.

The hotel is really a two story motel under renovation. Definitely not what I was expecting. They were still working in some of rooms. My first room had two queen beds but only four total pillows. When I went to take a shower the shower controls didn’t work. The staff changed my room and behold totally different shower but it worked. Can’t really say experience was good just enough.

Not a typical spot I usually would stay. Checked in after midnight and was put in a room on the side of the building near construction that started at 7am. Awakened by excavators and pile driving. Front desk moved us to the other side of the building where front desk staff said there were lots of rooms. The room was quieter, but had not been renovated. Sagging cracked floor, food particles in the sink, towel hanging on back of door from previous tenant.

My experience was very disappointing.The cleanliness and maintenance were in terrible condition.There were cockroaches in the room, the bathroom was in horrible shape, and the baseboards were coming off the walls, giving the whole place a neglected feeling.It definitely does not meet acceptable standard of hygiene or comfort.I would not recommended staying here.

The property has roaches. The floors wooden floors was broken up. They are remodeling so you hear banging at 5 o’clock in the morning. The pool was filled with termites and I have pictures to show everything. I have a autistic grandchild that had to be removed because of the noise checked out early.

Absolutely filthy!!! All kinds of bugs and mold shower and bathroom and doors. Wasn’t cleaned from previous person as there were water marks on bathroom mirror, dirty floor that hadn’t been mopped in god knows how long. Door wouldn’t close properly and got bitten up by mosquitoes. Even the toilet seat wasn’t attached. Fridge was rusty and moldy.

This property does not deserve to be on Hotels.com. When we booked it it was a higher rating but I guess it went down because of the construction next-door and how loud it was. When we checked in the rude boy put us on the side where it was the loudest so after checking in after midnight we got to wake up at 7 AM with extremely loud noises from the construction. We asked to be moved to another room on the other side of the building. The rooms are completely filthy there were dirty towels in it etc. the floors are falling apart the bathroom was disgusting, nothing was maintained. The continental breakfast was little to be desired and it would be nice if they put a protein in there.

It was clean that’s all we cared about. The room was up to date. We would stay here again.

The place looked like a motel 6 completely run down with a fresh layer of paint here and there. The cops were actually called on one of the neighbors and the officer slammed the guy on my truck to handcuff him. This place was so ghetto UNSAFE and extremely expensive for what it was. I over paid per night and I think this actually should have been more of a gas station coupon book rate would have been appropriate. Truly disgusting and disappointing. Extremely disturbing. Also the room smelled moldy.

The staff was very friendly. The beds were actually comfortable. Great location. Quite run down and scary. This motel needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. Our alarm clock was the loud (thin walls) construction equipment, the garbage truck, the brick maintenance outside our door, etc. The front door had gaps all around it. Luckily, it had a deadbolt because the extra security lock could flip to the door however it did not have anything to connect to. We had a few mosquitos and little beetles on the mirror, but a Kleenex took care of that. We really should not have paid the price we did for this product. Next time, I'll pay the extra $$ to avoid this motel.

Serves it's purpose well. Worth the price. I didnt get the suite I wanted, got standard instead, but other than that it was fine. They didn't charge for the suite.

It was convenient to stores and ucf. The room was clean but very outdated. Shower head was so old, when you turn water on and try to pull the latch for shower water kept running on faucet and shower at the same time. Toilet seat was moving, it was not attached on both screws. Like i said, clean but old and outdated. There was free breakfast, waffle maker, coffee and bagels. Overall ok place .

First the pictures online were nothing what we got in the room. When we arrived I saw a roach on the pillow. The beds were dirty sheets did not fit the bed.

Hotel is well located near a shopping center. The one thing they could really improve is the continental break - very limited. They only had bagels, muffins, waffles and coffee. No eggs. No cheese. No protein. Preferred walking to Waffle House.

There was a smell like the ac filter needs to be cleaned or changed but it smelled better than the lobby! The room was full of mosquitoes we would kill 2 and come back with 3 in the room. The air conditioner was the only good thing. We had been to Daytona, and were hot, tired, and sandy. My friend tried to use the shower, and no water. Instead of blow by blow, suffice it to say, it was an hour later before the shower was working properly. I had gone to the office twice. Even asked for a different room....its not like they were that busy. The floor was sandy and we had to wear shoes. At the continental breakfast, the waffle batter was almost empty. The syrup was empty. The lady shook it, but there was only enough for one. My friend and I had to share one. I wanted cereal, but there wasn't any milk. We wanted to use the pool yesterday, but the gate wouldn't open, and no one was around to show how to open it. This is by far one of the hotels I'd recommend to anyone. It's pathetic how much priority the property and maintenance has over guests. You would think guests would be shown priority, courtesy, and above all respect.

I was very pleased overall with this property, however, that surprise $100 key deposit was weird. Ive never been asked to leave a deposit of any kind, bug especially not $100, for a plastic card. Expedia should do a better job of letting their clients know which properties have this questionable practice.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel served its purpose. Floors were dirty due to footfall and there being no carpets. Bathroom door was a poor fit. Shower took a long time to warm up needing a lot of water run (wasted). Breakfast included was basic (bagels waffles fruit coffee & juice). Nearby building work noise was annoying, due to complete later this year (2026).

The room had no soap and had to purchase one out side. There was an iron board but the iron itself was leaking water and difficult to properly use. Water pressure was very low.

First issue, the hotel next to it is under major construction. Like other reviewers have said, noisy, and just makes it over I'll look bad. Second is the area seems very sketchy, lots of people just hanging out outside with a significant portion of those drinking alcohol, etc. Big picture, sketchy motel. I didn't even stay after seeing the area, and inspecting the room.

Water wasn't hot enough. Had to tell front desk on first night of our stay.

The breakfast was just sad and when i got there somebody had dropped a coffee cup full of coffee on the floor and we told the front desk person we got a "I know", but no action. So we could not g we t coffee unless we wanted to step in the spilled coffee. A pretty sad experience.

If you want to slum it, this is the place for you! Room did not feel clean, it was run down with bathroom door broken and toilet seat wonky. Only one pillow per person on bed and the front desk would not give us more. Our kid wanted to sleep on the pull out sofa, and there were poop or blood stains on the mattress. We cancelled our second reserved night and got the hell out of there as soon as we could. Breakfast was also inconvenient and not great. Terrible...do not stay here.

There were several people loitering outside late at night loudly, which I imagine is the cause of the parking nightmare, as several cars were not displaying the guest tags.

Overall it was an okay experience. The room was good for the proce. The room was clean however there was a weird odour in the room sometimes. Once we aired out the room it was okay. The parking is a problem on weekends due to construction next door, blocking the parking with equipment.

We had to switch rooms due to lights not working and the tub being so damaged in the first room. The floor tiles were damaged and the tub was damaged in the second room. The TV didn’t work. Wi-Fi information was not provided, and the ice machines didn’t work.

It’s a solid 3 star experience so it’s worth the money, but the local noise (partly late night entertainment and partly early morning construction next door) was particularly irritating. It was clean and comfortable and safe, so I would stay again, maybe after the construction is done.

Check in was quick and easy. However, when we entered the room it had a strong unpleasant odor that was noticeable all night. Had to find a lamp to turn on as the light switches by the door didn’t work and it was dark as we arrived after 10pm. The bathroom was not very well cleaned, had to wipe off toilet seat before using. Hotel definitely needs some updates and better cleaning. Had to leave before 4am to go to airport so I wasn’t able to go talk to anyone in hotel office.

Unfortunately, there is major construction going on in the building right next door to this hotel. Thus the noise starts at 7:00 a.m. every morning and doesn't end until the evening time. In addition, the average person who stays at this hotel tends to make a lot of noise, especially at night. The room itself was in fair to poor condition, with dirty walls and a rundown appearance. The bed was comfortable and the shower water was hot. But those are about the only two good things I can say about this property.

It was pretty gross. Smelly and dead roaches. I didn't get sleep because I was scared of creepy crawlys after I saw a dead roach in the bathroom. Not worth the money even at a low price point. I skipped the free breakfast that was waffles and rotten oranges. And stale bagels and muffins.

Hotel was as clean as to be expected for it's age. the hotel is old and out dated' We stayed there for parents night with UCF only because everything within a 50 mile radius was completely booked. The area could definitely use a couple of new modernized hotels due to the constant expansion of the UCF campus.

The room smelled bad.The safety latch on the door was broken off. Floor was dirty. Shower had mold. Ice machine broken. Bed was comfortable and shades made the room really dark. AC was really good. Breakfast was cold cereal, bagels, muffins, and waffles. I have stayed here before but will never stay here again!

Customer service was good but the rooms were nasty I had to get transferred into 3 rooms because bugs were biting me. The bathrooms are dirty and cockroaches in the room and most of all there was a red substance on the bed.

It was the worst experience of my life

While this definitely wasn’t a hotel to rave about, my stay was decent. It is extremely close to shops, restaurants and UCF. It was an easy, friendly check in, quick to find my room. Everything was in order and the AC was cold - which I loved. The bathroom was not at all finished and towel racks were hung unevenly, it did give off unsafe vibes upon entry, but I lived through it and it really wasn’t bad. I would not use the pool, though it was available. Breakfast was available and there was a decent selection. There is currently construction happening next door, so that woke me up around 7am on Saturday. The stairs are narrow and a need an upgrade. Check out was just as quick and friendly!

It had termite evidence on the bathroom walls. The vinyl floors were all cracked and coming up. The shower was so old and cauking all mildewy and the toilet was old, rusty and dirty!!!! NEVER stay there!!!!

This property is advertised as a smoke-free property. Immediately after walking into the room, there was a strong cigarette/tobacco odor. I informed the front desk about this issue. I was traveling with my 14 yr old who can’t be exposed to tobacco. I was informed by staff that there was nothing he could do. When I asked what would happen if I left, I was informed that I was past the free cancellation time frame. I had to book a different room at a different hotel. I contacted Expedia and they were able to convince the property that I would be refunded the value of the second night of my stay and would be provided $50 Expedia credit. I felt I had no choice. I would not book a room at this place if I could avoid it. Not only do they not deliver on what they advertise but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Terrible experience.

People loitering outside smoking weed. Toilet wouldn't flush right. Cable not working. Floor in room cracked and not cleaned. I guess you get what you pay for. Budget price. Won't be staying again.

Bed was comfy. The first room we were in the air conditioner started leaking in the room. So they moved us to the second floor ugh. Breakfast area was small and choices were very very limited. We will not come back to this hotel for our next competition.

Roaches roaches roaches! They don’t clean their rooms at all. Only reason I didn’t plan my escape because it was late at night. But avoid at all costs if you can

Toilet was not in good condition. Mattress spring was broken one of the bed. Water flow in sink was dead slow to clear out. Bathroom exhaust wasnt effective . One light had a missing bulb , fixed after called the front office . Room service isnt available prior to 9am. If u need a coffee cup at 7am then u gotta wait till9am.

There was nothing to like the whole property is filthy starting at the restroom when you check in. There were visible signs of prostitutes and drugs. They were giving hourly room rates. I was given the 1st room that smelled like cigarette smoke and it was unclean; beds not made sheets filthy. The second room we were given to replace was disgusting, moldy, damp and had a hole in ceiling with water pouring through. I have pics of both. It took Management 5 days to refund me after they denied my refund to expedia. I had to go in after being lied to multiple times saying a manager would call me. After having to get out of character the manager amazingly appeared from the back. Still only a partial refund was eventually issed (luckily expedia helped with the rest)

Bed was very comfy ... Bathroom was in poor shape... Very poor shape and it backed up with water in the tub while showering... A few inches in a ten min shower ... I was second floor ... Not pleasant at all. Gaps in the floor running boards ... Found several termites in my room ... Needs all the caulking ripped out and redone, truly this is a $ 50 a night location... It could be much better with some love, however... The staff was very kind .

I enjoyed the stay!

The front desk staff was friendly but the room was damaged and filthy. Nothing that could be adjusted/correcred at the moment. The staff did return deposits and hotels helped with refund so we could stay in another location.

The room needs repair. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The food for breakfast was old/stale.

It was convenient and close to shopping areas, the rooms need to be refurbish a bit.

Room floors need some renovation also the bathroom. The rest was decent.

This was an awful experience. The staff at the front desk was friendly however the room was dirty and it needed a lot of maintenance. We got there almost at midnight and checked out the next morning although I purchased a 2 night stay. This was for my nephew's graduation. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel but yes in cleanliness. But it did not accommodate. I would never stay there nor recommend it. Attached are the photos of the bathroom for some odd reasons the photos I took of the sink and area of the bed did not capture.

This place had a nice lobby good lobby staff. Room was horrible. The toilet seat was painted, there was a hole in the floor, the floors were sticky, the front door had cracks all around the seal, the shower had a home they covered up, and was scared all night about possible bugs.

When we arrived, they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned since the previous guests left. Then they gave us another room where the refrigerator and TV didn't work, the air conditioning was very noisy, and the floor was dirty with sand, meaning the cleaning was totally poor.

So I don't really want to give a bad review of this property but it is not a place we will stay again. For $100 I expected a better quality experience. The check in was fine, the staff were good. We arrived at midnight and it only took us about 5 minutes to check in. The room was not dirty, but it was not comfortable either. It looked like the property is trying to upgrade but the people they hired to do the work are not very good or they are being cheap about it. Again, the room was clean and no bugs or anything..but the sheets were a little rough like they used cheap laundry detergent. The toilet ran all night but we closed the bathroom door so it didn't keep us awake. The shower was decent and worked ok. They had soap and shampoo in the room. There is currently construction going on adjacent to the property so in the morning it was very noisy. Not their fault but it could have been mentioned in the listing on Expedia. For another $50 we will stay at La Quinta where we usually stay. I did not check the breakfast but breakfast was included. The bed was comfortable. But the main light didn't work and the chargers next to the bed worked but not the one on the main dresser. I did not see a switch to make it work either. Wish I could say better things but this was our experience.

I have sinus trouble and the AC was dirty i was sick my entire trip and we only stayed because we came to shop and said we would hardly be in the room that why else we would have cchange. Only 1 (ONE) worker at front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and nice but i donh remember his name he has piercings on his face i give him 5 STARS

Shower faucet handle is backwords(hot and cold) and almost coming off the wall. Drain was backed up. The tub was gritty. Horrible room.

You get what you pay for. The Hotel is fighting a battle with bugs. A Golden Carral was torn down next door and the room had roaches. I had bugs in my clothes this morning.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this MOTEL. The area did not feel safe at all. The room was ok, but you could tell it was just covering the age and poor condition, especially in the bathroom.

The only thing I would say negative is there was a lot of noise outside our room. I don’t know if it was people coming up and down the stairs outside our room or slamming doors, but it was just a lot of loud banging.

I don't normally do bad reviews. But this Quality Inn building should be demolished and make a new hotel. It's not staff's fault, they are nice people. It's the owners or management fault. It's a total mess. . I didn't know this type of hotels still existed in 2025.

Front desk staff, check in and check out, were nice and friendly. Room was clean. But 15 minutes in the room, 2 small German roaches popped up, 1 on the TV stand and 1 on the wall. Definitely can't bring our bags inside our home when we arrive, everything's going into wash from outside, bag stays out for a few days. Bed was terribly uncomfortable, it sunk down in the middle, old springs. Before bed, we showered water was nice and hot, in the morning we had to shower with warm water, not hot at all. Thank goodness it was cold outside, because we lost power for at least 30 minutes early morning while asleep, it would be so hot. Not a good stay. Definitely not staying there again.
