I was putting on the second floor after I told him I had problems with stairs he said there was no rooms available on the first floor when I walked around I seen six to eight rooms on the first floor identical to what I had

If you just want a basic cost effective bed near Universal, this is a good deal. The bed was perfectly clean and room in decent shape. The floors could have been cleaner but nothing gross. No bugs etc. Ice machines not working and wifi required front desk help but they were friendly.

The room was good was clean, they clean it every day which I appreciate it, the beds were comfortable, the only bad thing is that the hotel looks old and lack of maintainence, but in general for a couple of days just to sleep after spending all day long between amusements parks I can’t complain, and for the price don’t expect a Hilton, honestly for me was good, cheap, close to the universal parks and good to sleep, that’s it

I had a nice day. The room was clean. Air-conditioning was working fine. There was plenty of parking. Conveniently located around good food on International Dr., Universal Studios. Not that far away. I would definitely stay here again.

The parking situation was also very inconvenient. When I arrived, it was raining, and the parking lot had large areas of standing water, making it difficult to even get out of the car without stepping into deep puddles. Overall, this is not a place where you would want to spend more than the absolute minimum amount of time.

The room was not in great condition but it was semi clean. Air conditioning was not very cold. Door would not close unless we used a key, turned up the handle and pulled with a lot of force. Lobby was not open, and the property was in poor shape.

I left a day early and was told I could not get a refund for the extra day I paid for in advance. The rooms look terrible.

For the price we played especially being so close to the universal parks. I would definitely stay here again. The room was very well-maintained. We didn’t have any issues with the shower or any of the appliances. I feel like when people give this place a rating they are comparing it to a hotel. It is a motel so we judged it as one and I would say it was one of the best ones we’ve stayed at. We stayed there for three nights there was never an issue. They disclosed it on the listing, but I will say if you’re going there for the pool, don’t it was not maintained at all but if you’re going like we were to be out of the room all day to go to the theme parks. It was perfect for the price and location.

Simple check in. Clean room. Close to all the attractions. Great price and, there are no hidden or extra fees, which is great; most hotels in the area will quote you a price but if you do not read the fine print, you will be surprised with more fees upon check in. Not at this hotel. There is a 100 dollar deposit, and I was told it would arrive 7 days, but I got it back the very next day. No complaints here.

It was clean and quiet. On the preview of the hotel it showed a nice clean pool and when we arrived at the location looking to take a swim the pool was nasty green.

Literally was there for like five hours to sleep. What you would expect a Super 8 would be. Furniture was in poor condition. But it was cheap and quick.

The location The check in guy was rude! He was throwing stuff at me and using harsh tones at me when I got there to check in! The hotel as a whole needs to be updated, it looks like from the outside it has been abandoned but it is open for business. This was a super 8 just in case anyone needs to know.

Hotel is located in a very close proximity to Universal theme parks. Room was cleaned everyday and it was everything we needed for our week stay. Reasonable priced. Bed was outdated but comfy. Needed 4 pillows instead of three

The location was somewhat close to Universal but there were much better options at the same price point that were closer. The room was the dirtiest I’ve seen and I’ve stayed in hostels and budget hotels dozen of times before. The bedding and sheets were stained, there was a dirty footprint on the floor from the last guest, an old towel under the nightstand, and broken glass in the bathroom picture frame. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there even for one night (we booked 6). So we sent photos to the property to explain why we would not be staying there and requested a full refund and had to find new accommodations on the spot. The property ignored our request and booking.com has been unable to reach them for a refund. Luckily we found an amazing hotel nearby that fit our budget. Cheap doesn’t mean the room can be dirty or unsanitary. Not worth the savings at all. We definitely want our money back because this was not what we expected and was certainly not as advertised.

The area was very quiet, I liked it a lot, but not the room. It had a musty smell, my little one woke up with allergies, the shower dripped all night even though I tried to close it properly, the TV never worked no matter how many times I tried to turn it on, and the door was difficult to open because the magnetic card wasn't working, so I had to go back to reception, and then back again because the door wouldn't lock, so they came with me to try to fix it.

If you are looking for the Universal Studios Schitt’s Creek Attraction, look no further. No waiting, no line, no Express Pass needed! It’s actually a decent price for the proximity to Universal Studios, clean room and attentive staff. I was pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned and bed made each day. As long as you are ok with the appearance of wall repairs being done by Roland Schitt, you’ll be fine! I would highly recommend (and will stay there again) for those wanting a no frills but unique frills experience.

Their internet is awful. Very slow and some times inexistent. They don’t have breakfast, shuttle and nor washer and dryer available. During my stay the ice machine on first floor didn’t work.

So the place used to be a Super 8 and has transitioned to the current ownership. We had several big issues that they fixed as fast as possible. The staff did a great job helping resolve the issues. Our first room, the shower didn’t work. So they moved us to a different room the next morning. The next room was very short-lived. The next room had a weird smell and then we discovered there was mold on the floor. At this point the hotel was completely booked so we couldn’t get a room until others checked out later that day. We got the next room, it was clean the shower worked but the heat did not. The temperature was down in the mid 30s that evening, so it was freezing in the room. While we were at the park the next day they fixed the heat. After that adventure, the first few days, everything was great. If you were looking for a cheap hotel that you only plan to sleep at and spend the rest of the time outside of the room and this may be for you, but you do get what you pay for.

Hotel let us check in after usual check-in time due to our flight being delayed which was very much appreciated! Stayed 5 nights and did not do much more in the hotel than sleep but there were consistently fresh towels whenever we came back and the room was clean. Would recommend for doing Universal on a budget because it is very much in walking distance from CityWalk

None of the Amenities I paid for where available. The front desk area looked like I was in a crack hotel. The first room I was given had no working TV or Refrigerator. The Second room we could not close the bathroom door because it was getting stuck at the bottom and I did not want to break it. Horrible experiences.

First, when I arrived my reservation could not be found and it took over 40 minutes to check me in. The room was not maintained. The shower drain backed up. The shower wouldn't turn off all the way and dripped all night. When you turned the sink on bugs flew out of the drain. Room did not even have a trash can. beds had small square half pillows.

I never got to stay here. Upon trying to check in, they could not find my reservation. And overall did not help me figure out any solution. All they said was that it is no longer super 8 and they changed management companies. So therefore the reservation was never actually made for me. I reached out to orbits trying to get a solution from someone over the phone, that didn’t get anywhere until I was texting chat support and they told me I would be able to get some compensation for a new hotel. It was difficult trying to get a hotel at 3am as everything was sold out. I had to sleep in my car that night. I appreciate the gentleman who tried to help me over chat. I think there should always be updates for reservations and inform people about any changes so things like this don’t happen.

The only thing I found Good about this property it was the price which I understand why it was so cheap. These place needs a renovation, repainting, better customer service, and overall clean better than rooms. They only person that was nice at the property. It was the cleaning lady.

This hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt. So incredibly rundown and missing so many elements of a standard motel, even if it is a budget option, the standards should be at least met at an acceptable level.

Room was dirty and things were literally falling apart. Mattress was so old that it sunk to the bottom of the bed when sleeping on it. And no access to water for over 12 hours one night. We could not use the sinks or toilets in our room or shower and no compensation given.

Construction going on outside of our room. Very noisy. Had to switch rooms becuz 1st room toilet was leaking all over. Bright n early on Saturday morning construction started again. Came back after a long day n the construction crew hit the main water line so we had no water. Pool water was so green. Then we had to switch hotels so there was no relaxing after a long day.

The pool was shut down, there was no breakfast, no airport shuttle. The rooms were tidy but not the cleanest. And with a baby and 2 kids thats a must.

Had to get changed in rooms because the shower broke. When they cleaned they put no effort into it , or cared to give you new towels or actually sweep & mop properly & I had to call for toilet paper or else I wasn’t given any. The new room I got put into had an A/C problem. Staff was nice & all but they need to do better with the rest of these things, not to mention the pool was not accessible at all, it was super green & needed to be cleaned, which sucks because people want to be able to cool off somehow, it’s florida.

Cleanliness, I really hope it was the housekeeper’s hair that was long, black and curly because it was everywhere. Condition, falling apart. The pool is “closed for maintenance.” I didn’t take a picture because it was growing things. The photos below are of the bathroom. Shower curtain rod literally falling out of the wall. The shower curtain along the rings, was ripped pretty much all the way across. The walls falling apart from water damage. Service, the guy at check in was bothered that I needed to check in, I must have interrupted his show in the other room. They left cups and the makings for coffee, but no coffee pot. When I asked for one right after I got to the room (7 PM), it wasn’t brought until after I left the next morning (10 AM). It was there when I was back at 5 PM. I tried to save a few dollars this trip, I definitely will not make that mistake again.

It was decently priced just a few amenities i wish worked like the ice machine and the door locks letting us in our room.

The room includes a microwave and a fridge, which is a big plus, especially if you’re traveling with kids. That made things easier for us. However, there are several things that need urgent improvement. The bathroom is in poor condition, with visible damage. The bathtub looked dirty and was unpleasant to step in—it appeared so unclean that I had to shower wearing flip-flops throughout my stay. I also saw multiple cockroaches in the room: one crawling on the floor, another on the wall behind the TV, one by the sink while I was brushing my teeth, and another on the table under the TV where guests usually place their things. This made me feel anxious and uncomfortable, and I even had to sleep with earplugs at night out of fear that one might crawl into my ear. The remote control didn’t work properly—you couldn’t turn the TV on with it and had to do it manually. It was also missing the back cover where the batteries go. The bedding was also insufficient—there weren’t enough blankets, and I was cold during the night. This hotel has potential thanks to its great location and the in-room amenities, but it really needs proper cleaning, pest control, and general maintenance.

I did not like nothing. It was very nasty dirty refrigerator, dirty sheets, dirty towels. He won’t give me my money back. It was just nasty. The tub looks nasty.

There was a few things about the hotel room that i think need to be improved which is the bathroom door doesnt lock and the shower needs to be fixed. I had also found a cockroach one night in my stay. Pool also wasnt working. In all the place is good those were just things that i think need to be improved and things i didnt like in my stay.

Went to three different rooms with all broken AC's and chipped paint on all the walls, my first room had broken drawers and dirty light shades, my second room had a bathtoom that's light was so dim it made virtually no differece and the bathroom door didn't close, my third room was literally crawling with bugs, the the two staff I dealt with were extremely rude the moment I spoke to them the day of and after.

It wasn't high end but that didn't matter, rooms were clean , booked for 10 days to relax by the pool , the pool was broke on arrival, looking at pool it was for a while ,green , asked night manger about it ,i was told to just go to another hotel and use there pool !! Had to fight with staff to open the laundry room ,i mentioned it would have been nice to receive an email prior to my stay because i would have stayed elsewhere, asked for my money back my first night and got no where,i had to go to the front desk for towels ,face clotos and toliet paper at times ,the bank machine , and vending macines were also out of order ,room was on the cheaper end but staying there ruined my vacation

I stayed for three nights, and it was a nightmare. I ended up with neck pain from having to sleep on a single small pillow. This experience was frustrating and uncomfortable, and I will definitely not be returning to this hotel.

I stayed here on a three day business trip for a convention. I had an initial problem in the room I was in & to the credit at the front desk the situation was quickly resolved. I also had a recalcitrant neighbor who spoke loudly at 11p at night. They took care of that. There were however a few bugs. The hot water worked quickly.

Had a great night rest. Bed are comfy. Room was clean. The entrance light switches didnt work or the light. Thats the only thing. But not a big deal.

The Super 8 met all my criteria for reasonable accomodations; comfy clean bed, non-sticky floor and hot water in the shower. Staff was easy to talk to and very attentive. All went as expected. Yes, I'd stay there again.

The only thing nice I can say about this was the convenient drive to Universal Studios, and there was no bugs found. This was by far the most run down facilities I have ever stayed at. The front lobby looks new and is misleading as well as the photos advertised as the room that was provided to us was horrid. The room smelled thick and musky using the sink you could smell sewage, the bathtub repairs had me wondering if I was going to fall through the floor, the faucet was not working correctly and we needed a pair of pliers to use the shower. The bed was like sleeping on concrete and so bad we purchased an air mattress!! Every piece of linen in this room was stained, comforter, pillows, sheets. The smell of people smoking marijuana lingarded all around walking to the room. There was no washrags provided either but thankfully my husband and I purchased all the linens we would need for our 4 day stay as it was NON REFUNDABLE. They also have the audacity to charge a 100.00 deposit upon arrival. I will never stay here again. If I had the ability to upload photos I would.

Hotel is good especially for the price and location. No roadway / highway noise. The staff at front desk were very nice. The room/bathroom was clean but needs to be renovated. There was no dining in the super 8 there was no breakfast of any kind and zero shuttle to the Universal Studios park. But we went and asked for fresh towels and TP each day we stayed 5 nights and there was definitely banging and noise and car alarms all night but not horribly so and we walked the 35 min each way at to Universal Studios, ordered IHOP for on the way. Super 8 is definitely dated but the room was clean except for the floor of course. Very walkable area

We were supposed to stay for 7 nights. When we arrived we were displeased with the quality of the room. Considering the nature of our travel, we decided to stay a couple nights to feel it out. However, we checked out the next morning because the place was infested with roaches, being present in the bed, bathroom, on top the AC unit which did not provide heat making it hard to sleep that night because it was cold outside. Roaches were present even in the mini fridge. Check in and out process was decent.

We enjoy staying here because of the proximity to Universal Studios and how easy it is to get there. The price is always a really good value. My only complaint is how hard the beds are. They were extremely uncomfortable.

The noise level was unbearable — you could hear everything from the adjacent rooms and the hallway all night long, making it impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, with a sagging mattress and lumpy pillows. The customer service was equally poor. The staff seemed indifferent to any issues I raised, and when I asked for a different room, I was told nothing was available.

The shower curtains were dirty, shower rod falling off. Not enough bedding or toiletries provided. Key cards stopped working randomly. Front door lock was damaged. Kept getting stuck in open position. So on and so forth.

I would never recommend this hotel. There was no peephole in the door...just a hole so anyone could look in. The lock on the door was loose and ready to fall off. Staying at this motel did not feel safe at all. But when we killed two cockroaches on the floor and then one crawled across my hand on the bed we said enough is enough. The hotel did credit us as we checked out after only night so that was the only good thing. I dont need the taj mahal when staying in a hotel but it has to be bug free and I have to feel safe.

Property was terrible. The beds were terrible. The shower was falling apart.

Just I have one inconvenience the shower in the bathroom is dirty with mold

It’s not a good place for family ,visitors or professionals people -They halted our deposit and not even returned to us It’s unprofessional

The room was in disrepair and missing items. There was coffee and sugar but no coffee maker. The door was hard to open/shut as well as the room safe didn't work. There were other issues but don't need to get into them. Just lets say I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
