Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside

Honestly, I've never been to a hotel where they charge you $40 for daily parking, and I hadn't paid $80 for breakfast for two adults and a child either, anyway I think next time I'll look for another hotel, and it's not so much what they charge is that it's not the perfect hotel for them to charge everything separately without warning

Very nice and clean hotel. I was very impressed, especially with the staff who were absolutely outstanding. From the desk team members to the breakfast helper, lobby lady, and gracious shuttle driver. Our stay was a 10/10.

I would stay again, because I loved the pool, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful! Food was really good on the restaurant- just a one night stay for us but overall very nice.

The pool is amazing! The bed was comfortable and everything clean. Perfect way to unwind from travel day and be ready for our vacation!

Everyone was super friendly. The shuttle drivers were great. Location was good. I loved that the pool was inside and outside and open late.

Very professional staff. Clean and comfortable room. Free breakfast Parking! Self parking was a little challenge. First it was very tight spot to go into parking area. Some guest were having problems getting the gate to open and the line was back up. Rows were dead end and it was hard to turn around if there were no open spots.

My room was very clean. The receptionists were attentive and made my night go smooth upon arrival. Wish there was a microwave in my room.

The outdoor pool is amazing the hotel has a outdoor bar with an incredible bartender (deborah) she is amazing

Well, I would say it started off great. My kids loved the room and the view from the room was great. The room seemed very clean at first but my 8/yo ended up finding a used condom on the floor next to the bed. Not sure if it was there from the start or it got put through the wash and fell off the side of the sheets or something but as you can imagine that changed my mind pretty quick… The staff kind of brushed it off at first but ended up comping the room. IMO I would stay there again as hopefully something was just overlooked. Like mentioned the room seemed clean but finding that was just a bit unsettling. These things happen and they did comp the room. I am just thankful my son did not touch the dirty “balloon”… fun stuff explaining that one.

Very nice room.

I booked 3 rooms, 1 for my husband and I, and 2 rooms for elderly relatives (86+). Dining was great (1 wheelchair), staff was helpful, transfer for all of us to the airport was easy. Pool and grounds were well kept and sort of fun. Rooms were soundproof. I would stay there anytime and recommend.

We had a baby, it was not convenient for us to get hot water in the room. The housekeeping said we had to go down to the cafe for it every time.

We had a great stay at Silver Lake Resort. It’s a clean, comfortable, and affordable option that offers excellent value for the area. The location is especially convenient, just minutes from Walt Disney World, making it easy to get to the parks without the high resort prices. The property is easy to access, well maintained, and ideal for families or anyone looking for a budget friendly stay near Disney. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The on,y real issue we had was or last night there. We visited the lounge and after asking for a dessert menu were left sitting for over 40 minutes waiting to order a simple celebratory birthday dessert.

This was the 1st I had to pay for breakfast there was no way I could eat $30 worth of food. When they cleaned to room they left no washcloth's no floor mat.

They allowed us to check in early since our ship ported early. Beautiful scenery and nice area.

The room was nice, the hotel was clean and somewhat updated. We enjoyed the pool, though we wished there was a hot tub. We were surprised that there wasn't ice water available for guests in the lobby. That seems like a very easy, inexpensive perk to provide guests. We were also disappointed that there was a $35/day fee to park. Overall we had a good experience, but these issues were noteworthy.

My only complaint was the staff was not that friendly at all!

Room a/c was left off. When we arrived atb11 for a qyuck stay before our morning flight, our room was very hot and humid. We turned i. The ac and it inly trckled cool air on high. We were up several times soaking in sweat with no fan and little ac to cool the room down. I expected more from a Marriot, the flagship brand.

Most friendly service I have received! The staff were very kind and helpful. They even gave me a room with a very nice view of the pool. I feel a lot of times booking third party your room selection is limited but not with this hotel. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. There were several restaurants around within walking distance. The pool area was very nice and clean with a food and drink stand. The property was very serene with beautiful scenery in the back by the pool. The plane noise wasn't even that bad. I used the shuttle to get to the airport which is 24/7 on the half hour and it was so organized. I would highly recommend this hotel. 5/5!

It was ok, but the lobby was so strong of perfumes and cleaners that my mom who has COPD could nut even stand to be on there for even a minute. That was disappointing. And the food in the restaurant was terrible, at least for breakfast anyhow. But the staff was always very friendly. And the pool and lake were beautiful.

The rooms are decent and clean bathrooms are nice The food both times was pretty disgusting. We got the wrong order. We also were hung up on three times when we tried to order and left on hold overall that experience was terrible.

Clean and calm energy

Needed a place near airport as we decidee to extend our trip one day. Staff at check-in was quick and got into our room quickly. The room itself was standard Marriot quality. We appreciate this. Room itself was clean. Grounds were nice to walk around on. Nearby to a few restaurants too. But we ate dinner at the Crimson Tavern. It was a welcome change to the last few meals we had. I had the chicken milanese and my wife a simple turkey club. Nice atmosphere. And our server was attentive. Marriot sets a standard. We have been to a few and this one exceeds it.

I made reservations we got to the hotel and there was a guy behind the counter February 28 at approximately 2 o’clock Is for my name I gave it to him. He said I didn’t have a reservation. He looked up my first name not my last name how stupid can a person be. He kept saying we don’t have a reservation then he made me wait and said you’re in the waiting list. Then my wife had to actually go up and see if it was ready and it was he didn’t come to us he is a loser. He finally found it. He said oh I looked up under your last name.

Bathrooms need upgrading - broken shower door and hot water issues

2nd stay here. Pool and bars are great. Rooms both times have been very dusty, almost as if the rooms are not turned over much. Still very nice place to stay

Very nice hotel. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. The showers were great and no sign of mold or dust. The only complai t I had is they were to clean the room as scheduled but didn’t show up. After telling the staff they were there bright and early. I highly recommend this hotel. Oh forgot they had a fridge in the room but no microwave. Very useful to have with kids

The property and the staff were both amazing. We arrived at 11 AM and we were given our room immediately the rooms were clean. The desk was extremely helpful with any questions we had the out door landscape was well maintained the food in the restaurant was a little bit on the pricey side, but was very good. The only complaint that I would ever have is there are not a lot of restaurants nearby aside from that I would definitely stay there again. This was the second time I’ve been there.

First room smelled and had a broken deadbolt. Changed rooms and it was better but, for the price, I have stayed in much nicer hotels. Decent enough, better than a motel but not impressive.

Overall it’s a nice hotel. Nothing exceptional. Dining options at a walking distance from the hotel are not the best (subjective though).

Breakfast and dinner and drinks were good except for a bartender who appeared to not want to be at work. The food servers and their supervisors were excellent — the only good aspects to anotherwise bad experience. Room was dirty. There was no info in the room re: dining or drinks or the property’s amenities. When I asked for same at the desk, the employee seemed surprised I cared about food or beverage availability. And he said no printed info on same was available. The bathroom was not clean and one towel was threadbare and torn. Others were definitely not plush. We both remarked that we’d stayed in Marriotts worldwide and this did not resemble the level of care and services we ordinarily expect of Marriott. We have resolved to not utilize Marriott properties in the future.

My wife and I enjoyed this hotel as a last night before flying out of Orlando airport. Free shuttle bus was helpful.

Quick stay ,easy check in!

No free coffee in lobby . Purchased a turkey sandwich in the shop that cost $17 and was awful. However , the girl at shop was very nice . I was charged for internet even though I am a Mariott / Bonvay member . I could not get a late check out . Adding up all those items , it’s just not worth it . I will prob use Hilton honors program . Bottom line …. Overpriced !

We couldn’t extend our check out time unless we wanted to pay for another night. I understand this and it’s fine but there are no facilities for changing in, showers etc, even in the gym. Had to have a pre flight wash and change in the swimming pool toilets. There are two places to eat but both have the same menu. Prices are generally high, as expected. Had a fabulous pizza which was reasonable. The pool area is nice, plenty of sun beds and as guests come and go regularly throughout the day there were lots of free beds. The pool does not have a lifeguard or attendant on duty. Unfortunately there was a large group with lots of children who monopolised the pool and constantly jumped and dived in unsupervised from their sunbathing parents. A pool attendant enforcing the no jumping rules would’ve been helpful to the other guests. Bar and food service is available poolside. A shuttle to the airport runs every half hour and is on a first come basis. When getting the shuttle from the airport you need to call the hotel to send the shuttle. The info desk did this for us

It was cool and I could not turn off the air conditioning because the room smell. The front desk staff was rough and rude. They need to develop effective interaction/communication skills. It was horrible.

My room was dirty and even though it was updated it had not been well maintained. Stains on sheets, dirty shower, broken plugs. I won’t be going back. The staff was friendly though and the pool looked lovely even though it was freezing that day and I didn’t get to use it.

It was a good stay. Room OK (when was the last time the carpet was shampooed?). Great bathroom. However, the lighting is extremely DARK, even in the bathroom. Good luck Ladies, putting on your makeup. And there is no grab bar in the shower! This hotel caters to the older cruise people (like me) who really need that bar, especially in the shower. All to hang onto is the soap dish. But if that doesn't bother you, then this is a nice place to stay. Breakfast buffet is adequate ($25) and wait staff is very attentive. But the dining room manager needs to not chastise the staff in front of the customers! This guy was upset about an issue with supplies. Not a good look, guy.

I returned the room card during the check out. The temporary parking paper ticket did not work when I tried to exit parking lot. I have to walk to the lobby to tell the representative such that he can ask the security to open the gate when I exit the parking lot. The parking fee was already included in the hotel fee and was paid.

There is no free breakfast and no buffet everyday.

From the minute I checked in, the experience was fantastic! Everyone was extremely welcoming from the staff at the desk, the coffee shop, restaurant, etc. Shuttle was a great addition and had no problem with pickup or drop off. Rooms were great..did have one small hiccup with housekeeping but it was immediately corrected. Definitely worth the stay and I’ll absolutely be back!

I did not eat breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The room was very warm and that made it almost impossible to sleep. I kept waking up trying to and just the a/c but nothing worked. Even though the temperature displayed 65. The room fell like a 80. This morning the temperature in the room finally dropped to a comfortable one

Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. We had to wait a bit for the hotel shuttle as the first shuttle couldn't accommodate all of the people waiting.

Lost power two nights we were there, the room was not very clean, prior occupants spilled paint and other questionable stains through the space (room 414). I had 2 rooms, (room 640), which was the nicer of the two. No power was major inconvenience. I was traveling with a pregnant wife, two small children, and mother in law. Also was only refunded for one night, for one room, not for the other room. Very poorly handled by staff. Elevators were also getting stuck and safety messages were playing in them. I will not be returning. We left your hotel and stood at the ritz Carlton to salvage what was left of our trip. What a disappointment.

Staff in general very kind and accommodating yet wait staff if you decide to eat in are horrible at attending tables. Had to wait for our simple burger and a microwave pizza for about an hour. The breakfast was especially interesting they will give you food but your utensils will arrive 5 min later, if you ask for apple juice you may end up with orange juice, you ask for chicken you will find beef instead. I have never seen a service this terrible even at places you would expect sub par service. Come on guys these are easy to fix problems. Food service staff needs a ton of training!

Front desk was not helpful. We messaged the hotel in advance stating we would be unboarding a cruise ship in the morning and asked if we can check in before 3pm. We waited around the hotel for 6 hours all we were told was that we would be texted and called when the room was ready. We never received a single call or text updating us on the room status but was told at 3pm we are sorry it looks like a call or text was never sent out. I asked to speak with a manager and was ignored

Checked in at 3pm. Waited till 3:45 watched 10 guest get room keys and had to ask if my room was ready. They forgot about me

We came in late and the staff not only accommodated us but made sure we had a ride from the airport. our room was clean and comfortable. the hotel gym was amazing one of the best I've seen having a smith machine and other higher end strength training equipment was greatly appreciated. The pool was beautiful. excellent staff

Lake view is not worth it, not a lake to me it's a pond with a fountain. Breakfast food was sub par. Room 318 we could here elevator traffic during the night.

Love the atmosphere

We stayed here for UCF Parent/Family Weekend. It was about 20 minutes from the school but had the best rate for that weekend. The room and hotel were very nice! The pool area and lake, with a walking trail was beautiful. The area was quiet even though it’s near the airport and a busy street. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the morning but ate out across the street, where there were several options to choose from. Wed stay here again!

I came to Orlando for a quick weekend getaway and I’m so happy I came across this hotel! It was quiet and the pool view with the extra greenery was a nice touch for me. The room was super cozy and clean which I love. I always do my own cleaning so to see that I didn’t have to do much, really eased my mind. The walls I would say, are a little thin so you do hear guests walking and talking attempting to get to their rooms but after that it’s really quiet. You are able to adjust AC, and the black out curtains makes it extra dark at night which I loved! Overall my experience was great! Next time I’ll take time to utilize the pool and go to the bar/restaurant they have down stairs! Also there’s a lot a food spots in the area so go explore. Oh parking was $24 a night so plan for that!

Great location close to the airport and many other venues. Is a good hotel for one or two nights. The rooms doesn’t have safe boxes which is something unacceptable for me.

The pool and the bartender outside was great and she provided great service! We had breakfast late because of our arrival, the waitress and cook appeared to be unhappy that we wanted breakfast close to closing time. The cook came out to eyeball us and the waitress rushed us as if we were an inconvenience! The walls in the hall were dirty and worn out! I took a picture above my aunts outer door were mold was growing! There was dust build up on stair corridor from the second to first floor! My daughter was moved to a new room because her beds were dirty. I went in the public bathroom when the housekeeper was in there and she was on her phone. Went back when she came out and bathroom was not cleaned.

I liked the property because it's convenient to the airport (MCO) just a few minutes away. The place was very nice. Clean room. Clean bathroom. Our room was an adjoining room which might have made the walls thinner...but we heard everything going on next door. The staff was able to quiet down the neighbors without any issue. The restaurant food was very good as well. There's just no place to go if you don't have wheels.

It’s clean, affordable and close to the airport.

The Marriott Lakeside feels safe, secure, clean, and quiet. The airport is very close by which makes this stay easier for early morning flights.

The staff was friendly and reliable. We had to stay due to a flight cancelation in the middle of thr night, and everyone was very accommodating.

The only downside for me was that you can hear people in the hallway walking talking from your room, pretty loudly.

Hotel is getting very dated but it is very convenient.

The shower had used soap and shampoo from the prior guest. Parking cost 27.98 a night for overnight guests!! Key for self parking was not activated properly. I would not stay there again

It was perfect for a quick airport stay. pool was beautiful and there were several dining options

I found blood on my pillow and then they brought me new pillows and that pillow had dirt on it and then they just gave me like a small amount of Marriott Bonvoy points

Check-in was quick and easy, airport shuttle was easy and fast for pick up, the pool was lovely and open early so we were able to take advantage of that before we set off for the day.

The rooms weren't so clean . The staff were wonderful.
