We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn ICON Park. The convenience of having the pool right next door for the swim meet is amazing! The Indian food in Fusion is 5⭐️ with friendly service. We stay here every year for the meet and will be back every year moving forward!

The halls and rooms had extremely strong deodorizer smell. Way over the top. It overall Felt like they just put makeup on an old facility. Walking distance to lots of food options and staff was great but just not comfortable from bed to smells to outdated phone chargers (no usbc).

The hotel also lacks some basic amenities. There was no complimentary coffee available in the morning, which is something many travelers expect. In addition, there is only one elevator for the entire hotel, resulting in long wait times, especially during busy hours. Overall, the hotel needs significant maintenance and improvements to provide a comfortable guest experience. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

We booked for 2 nights, Fri-Sun. Arrived Friday night around 9:30. By Saturday morning at 10am we checked out. Didn’t even ask to be refunded for the other night I was just over it. There were teenage roaches in the bathroom. Every towel had a stain. They tried to make the place look clean but everything was just icky. We returned the breakfast cards because there was no way I was going to eat there. The hallway carpet was filty. The lobby smelled like a damn bathroom. Ugh

We only stayed for one night and didn’t really use the amenities but the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We did end up calling for 2 roll away cots and they were brought promptly and the front desk called to ensure they were delivered. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Could not fault the space of our room and the cleanliness was 10/10. Room was cleaned every day. Only thing I was not happy about was room was booked for 3 people and didn’t realise until I arrived that only 2 breakfasts where included 😢

I was given a room that was already assigned to another person so when I entered what I believe to be my room, I ran into a half naked man. They then assigned me to another room, right next to this man who flipped out on me. Also, there were bugs under bed sheet. Ended up leaving immediately after that and stayed somewhere else. Horrible experience!!!

Location is superb near to everything and in front of ICON park I found a small cockroach in the toilet . Every day housekeeping make sure there were tea bags in my room But actually there were no possibility to make tea as there were No kettle to boil water neither mugs to serve the tea just paper cups impossible to use in the public microwave.

Was the perfect location if you don’t want to get an uber or Lyft everywhere. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious

I have stayed at this hotel many times because of its location, cleanliness and amazing staff.

Complimentary parking! There’s FREE shuttle for both Seaworld & Universal Citywalk which is a huge plus for someone like me who loves theme park! Icon park is literally just in front of the hotel. Closed to all restaurants! The best hotel I stayed at in Orlando that is budget friendly! Spent $212 for 2 nights! Such a steal price! Highly recommended!

Place and staff was excellent. Location is perfect, family-friendly. Lobby was beautiful and clean. The toilet was a bit too low for me, and I had to go out of my room to use the microwave. Other than that, I loved it.

Very spacious room and bathroom. Everything was very clean and modern. I loved the included amenities such as the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, body lotion, and most importantly; the Keurig. Great accommodations for a party of 3 and even gave us a first floor room as requested. Front staff were very friendly and personable. Very close to attractions such as Universal, Icon Park, and Seaworld. We will absolutely stay here again on our future trips to Orlando.

The room was clean, well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap. The air conditioner was super loud but we were so tired it tuned out eventually. Comfortable beds and pillows. Staff was very nice and breakfast was tasty with a nice selection. Short walk from the Eye and Blue Man Group.

Check in with Hanna was wonderful! She was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Free parking, clean lobby, clean hallways, clean and spacious room. I enjoyed the room service with the on-site restaurant, Fusion. My only issue was the bathroom needs some upgrades, and the cable was in and out. Its no big deal breaker. I'd definitely stay again. Im very happy with my stay, the staff, the convenience, and the overall experience. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!!

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but probably in need of updating soon. The location was awesome with a short walk to ICON Park, Pirate's Cove, and restaurants. The price was great for the close proximity to everything. No complimentary breakfasts offering at all. The cost of breakfast per person was on the higher end and unnecessarily so considering there were many other options in the area.

Had to prove to the concierge that breakfast was included with my reservation. Once that was done and she saw, I did have the breakfast. She said I was only allowed two breakfast coupons even though I was a party of four for both days of our stay. 18.95 for each additional breakfast. Additionally, parking lot was not secure. There were grown men in groups in the parking lot, drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana openly.. The hallways were noisy until well after 2 AM. It was in a convenient location, but unfortunately,we will likely not use this hotel again

Anabel was very helpful at check in. She was very kind, and helped us get the most out of our stay. The breakfast was really good, the amenities were awesome, it was close to a lot of restaurants and activities. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was spacious, I only wish the TVs had streaming instead of satellite/cable.

The property is very close to icon park, the pool was warm with plenty of space. It’s a little pricey for breakfast and coffee but it is a resort hotel, with that said the room furnishings are old and worn out, the outlets on the nightstand did not work on both sides of the bed but there are plenty in the room that did work. Housekeeping is great!

Excellent central location for the parks. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Good size room and bathroom Good room facilities for a lengthy stay. Plenty of storage space. Beds were the comfiest we've slept in away from home. Plenty of car parking spaces. Hotel was always kept clean and tidy. The outdoor pool area was a little tired looking and not very inviting.

Staff were all very pleasant and helpful from breakfast staff, bartender, front desk, concierge, and souvenir store attendant. Outside of hotel was very well kept. Great location with Universal Studios nearby, restaurants, shopping and many attractions. We were there in early May of 2026, so weather was awesome and area was not too crowded. It is a good place to stay if you do not want to spend a ton of money while being nearby to the amusement park.

Location was great! Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Pool was nice size but pool area could be picked up more often during day to keep it nice. Suggestion would be to provide umbrellas for some of the loungers. Or have section where a canopy is available so can be in shade while using loungers. There seemed to be an area where it maybe once had a canopy but not currently. There are a few tables that had an umbrella but not for lounge chairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Stayed here during our Orlando trip and honestly had a good experience. It’s right across from the Orlando Eye, so the location is really convenient with plenty to do nearby. The staff were nice and helpful, and the room was clean which made the stay comfortable. It’s also pretty close to Universal and not too far from Disney, so getting around was easy. I’d stay here again and would recommend it if you’re visiting Orlando.

The pool could also be nicer, the towels were very very small, we had to use 2-3 towels to even cover the pool beds. Breakfast was very basic. The hotel has also taken a double payment for the room, and I am still waiting to get it back.

The breakfast buffet had so many choices; eggs, fried potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, French toast, an array of pastries and breads, as well as good hot coffee. Every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was large and clean, the AC worked well, the sheets and bed was comfy. The location was right next to ICON park, which we walked to twice during our stay. The Pointe was also less than a 15 min walk, which we also walked to and enjoyed the restaurants and shops. The location was amazing, and the free parking is a rarity anywhere off IDrive. I would definitely stay here again. If I had any comments, it would just be nice to have a microwave in the room, and a safe. Perhaps I could have asked the front desk for those options. We enjoyed our stay and give 5 stars in every category.

Didn’t realize we were given the room right next to the elevator, until we went to the room … very noisy… also… our bathroom floor was leaking. Had to keep towels down at all times… it was seeping through the tiles. I told the front desk.

Location I had a disappointing experience with this hotel. They lost my laundry and later claimed they had never received it, which is unacceptable. There was no effort to resolve the situation or take responsibility. Another strange and uncomfortable moment was that I was asked (almost forced) to fill out a TripAdvisor review before even checking in. This felt very unprofessional and made a bad first impression.

We ate at the Fusion Bar and Restaurant a few times and enjoyed it each time. Breakfast had a good variety and was consistently solid. Melody at the bar was amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome every time. The front desk staff were also very helpful and easy to deal with. No complaints at all. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was paid and in a small space with few options - I didint took it. The staff was very formal, less receptive and besides the right to late check out because of my status in hoteis.com they made it very difficult to have it. Every day they told me to come beast day to check. In the last day I went there, the night shift receptionist gave it to me, but in lunch time while I was taking all my luggage to the car o got charged a full day, and took me almost half an hour talking to a few different people in the reception to work it out. At the end of the day it was cancelled but it took a while and the employee that made the mistake. There are 2 different buildings. No microwave in the room, only in the hall next to ice machine In some of the floors. It has an open and late parking, with no gate or security control.

It was a great stay! Honestly I don’t have much to complain about but I did want to say that someone else here mentioned a ring in the bathtub and I thought it was crazy but she was right - there’s some kind of non slip coating and you can see where the water sits. The pool was nice but it could use a good cleaning and the pool chairs really need some attention. But otherwise the property was clean and the location was perfect!

Overall, the stay was underwhelming. The atmosphere was boring, and the bar service was poor—definitely needs a competent bartender. Most concerning, I did not feel safe walking between the lobby and the room area at night. The first night, the bed sheets caused an allergic reaction, which was very uncomfortable.

The staff was great but, the rooms are not sound proof. My room was 2 doors down from the ice room and I could hear every trip that was made. I could also hear everyone walking too and from their rooms. Also the beds ok they are not the worse but could be more comfortable and the pillows are a little flat.

We picked this hotel as for it´s location and the fact that it had a good area around the outside pool as we were looking for some relaxation in the sun by the pool. It was just an all around great experience. Staff super helpful, Cleaning and maintenance staff visible and doing a great job all the time. Took breakfast once and visited the bar a couple of times both for a meal and drinks and played some Pool too. Next time we come around we will be looking the same hotel up for sure. It gets our highest recommendation. Location is Super.

The staff was fantastic. Shaun and the others at the front desk, Salima at the coffee shop, the nice lady in the general store, and Nick the bartender all made the stay very pleasant. Hanna (manager in training) was friendly and should be ready to manage soon. The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillow assortment was excellent. Location is great and there is plenty of parking.

Hotel was near restaurants and things to do. Staff was excellent. Hotel overall was very very clean. Room was nice. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Pool area very run down. Chairs broken. Pool towels small and worn. Not much for food options at the hotel. Limited hours for restaurant.

Property was good as usual BUT they charged me for a towel they claimed we damaged but no proof whatsoever. Furthermore there was bugs in our room and the AC didn’t work very well at all. Stayed here twice now but this last stay convinced me to stay at a neighboring property next year.

The hotel itself was pretty decent besides a freaking booger on the wall that was a size of a quarter and also the random $115 charge they put on my card without my authorization. I made no purchases at this property so watch out for fraudulent activity on your cards after staying here.

I had no blow dryer in my room. I searched everywhere for it, and finally called the front desk for one. They told me where to look for it. It was not there. They told me they'd send someone up to bring me one. 45 minuyes later, a guy came to my room. When I opened the door, he stepped in my room and searched the bathroom for a blow dryer. He confirmed I didnt have one. 20 minutes later he returned with a blow dryer. I completely understand things happen, but I had a 6am flight and needed to be out of the hotel by 3:30am.I really just wanted to go bed, but not with soaking wet hair. This was at 11pm that I finally got the blow dryer.

Room reserved was an "upgraded" premium room. Received 2 queen beds at the end of the hall. Not sure what the upgrade was. Staff was friendly and professional. Opened the door to room each day of the 4 day stay and was a strong whiff of cigarette smoke baked into the room. The heat did not work the entire stay. The a/c only worked the first day. fan ran most of the time to try and keep air circulated at least. One of lights when you turned it on, hummed loudly the entire time. Fortunately, we did not stay in the room much. Pool was adequate for a hotel not for orlando I would presume. Older hotel and needed upgrading, it seemed it was bought from a failing hotel and with caulk/paint it was branded a holiday inn. Workout room was fine- could use water in the room as well as correct time. Maybe throw in a tv remote to change the channel. Otherwise, the staff was friendly. They do clean rooms everyday and that staff worked very hard at it.

I had booked a three night stay but unknowingly was given a two-night stay upon check-in. While I was out at a tradeshow, all belongings were put into a trash bag and I was left to find another hotel. I tried to discuss this with the hotel manager, but he is conveniently "unavailable". I have followed up since this incident for days and he still hasn't responded.

The room itself was spacious and very clean. The housekeepers do a great job 5 / 5. There are no safes in the room, you need to use them at the front desk! The front desk staff, super helpful and polite 5/5 Breakfast, if you buy the breakfast at check in, you save on the cost. Great selection and awesome service 5/5 The bar, this is where they fail a bit. We ordered steak meals while in the bar. The cost was pricy considering there is a steak house 2 mins walk away. The steak was slightly over cooked for what I wanted. Our broccoli was cold, they had to re-microwave it. 3/5 . I highly recommend the steak house across from the hotel. If you can get a table, its fantastic! Didnt use the pool or fitness area. Overall 4/5

The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The beds also came with 4 pillows! Which never happens. The staff was very helpful and checking in was seamless. The breakfast that was offered every day was delicious and had an excellent variety to choose from. My favorite was all the fruit that was available.

Staff was great and allowed us to check in early. The location couldn’t be better with restaurants and ICON Park nearby. Room was a smidge dated and the pool was cold when it said online that it was heated.

Staff were friendly and helpful a lot with questions . Room/sheets was pretty clean.. I’d suggest keeping that same effort with the bathroom, but it wasn’t that bad. I would stay again. Room it self was pretty larger than the standard 2 queen beds. Breakfast option for $15/pp was good enough when we needed a quick start.

I’ve stayed here many times before for the cheer comp the same weekend. This time staff was not as friendly this time or welcoming. When we arrived to our room after a long drive about 830p we had no fresh towels in the room. Called the desk twice no one answered. So we walked back down to the front desk and asked for towels. They said we will have someone bring them to you. So we went back to room and waited another 45 minutes for them to bring 2 towels with 4 of us in the room. We requested more and they were brought. This visit was not the best and rooms are decent and great location otherwise.

This review is for the staff. They were all so friendly and accommodating and welcoming. I had packages waiting for me and they offered to bring them to my room. I had early check in but they waived the fee. The hotel is fine.

My husband and I got a pretty big room with 2 queen beds. The location was nice location, jyst right across the street from the Icon Parkt the Orlando Eye. The receptionist was nice. We checked in late like after midnight so we asked for late checked out, they allowed us to check out at noon instead of 11am. That was great so we had more time to relax. When we first stepped in the room, we felt like it wad nice and clean. However, after walk around the room, we found a pair of black socks under one of the bed. So now the question is "Did the housekeeper clean the floor?" "Is this room really clean?". Oh, when we made tge reservation, it said we will get free beverage for each of us but the receptionist said nothing was told about thst on the reservation. We stayed just one night, don't want to have a big deal with just a dtink and socks. Overall was ok stay.

Emily at the front desk offered help if I have any questions.Easy and smooth check out. I will come back again. Their restaurant Fusion, not expensive price menu like the other hotels I have been too. Good food too.Happy hour 4p-6p at $4 drinks. Highly recommend hotel

Very clean room! If you have allergies/asthma this is a no smoking no pets hotel. There also was no carpet. Updated bathroom. My heat was broken but maintenance quickly came up to address. Walking distance to variety of restaurants. Will stay again!

The location was great for Orlando with short journey times to the theme parks Disney and Universal. The ICON park opposite offers a fantastic choice of bars and restaurants along with amusements and things to do. Loved our stay at this hotel.

As soon as we got settled in, there was a baby cockroach running around the floor and discovered one bed to have wet urine with the blanket trying to cover it up. It was still wet under the blanket. Immediately left the hotel at nearly midnight and notified the front desk. Had to frustratingly look for another hotel even though I booked this one a month in advance. Asked for a refund and was told to call in the morning about it. They didnt answer.

There is no free breakfast at this hotel. The buffet can be purchased at check in for $12.50 per adult. If purchased the next day the cost is $18.50 per adult. The buffet is fresh & plentiful with unlimited visits. In my opinion it is well worth $12.50.

The tv also did not work. It didn’t have any channels just a black screen which was extremely disappointing especially with two children… Property is dated, bed was comfy and room spacious. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but truly don’t desire to stay here ever again.

My only concerns relate to housekeeping. On one occasion, I accidentally fell asleep wearing light makeup, and the following day the pillowcase appeared to have been flipped rather than replaced. It was, however, changed the next day, so it was not a major issue. I also noticed a light dirt ring at the bottom of the shower, which raised some questions about the thoroughness of the daily cleaning, despite housekeeping servicing the room each day. Additionally, one of the elevators was out of service for a day, which caused some delays for guests accessing the upper floors, though it was repaired promptly the following day. Overall, these were minor inconveniences, and they did not significantly detract from an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Every member of the staff I spoke to was great. The hotel is great, I'd definitely stay again. My only complaint was the shuttle service to universal, the pick up times were rarely accurate and we often waited until 9:30pm for our 9pm pickup reservation.

Easy check in, very friendly staff, and nice property. Quiet and a easy/quick walk to nearby restaurants or bars. Only thing is when we went to leave we waited like 10 minutes for the elevator to never show up. Was on the top floor (7th) and had to take the stairs down. Don’t really mind it but just an inconvenience and we were leaving around 7am so it wasn’t busy. Overall a good stay and easy access to I-drive entertainment.

Staff were great. Only issue during the stay was that someone had been smoking weed in the tower we were staying in, but when reported the front desk called maintenance about it.

They did not allow me to stay in the hotel because I did not have a physical debit card on me and decided to tell me that if I had $100 cash that they would allow me to stay! And on top of it, they will not refund my money! So it looks like a letter to the attorney General in the state of Florida is the next Avenue

It’s was a great stay

The room was clean and all the common areas, but the bathroom smelled like sewage and pipes. You could hear water running and toilets flushing from other rooms because the pipes are connected.

Was in town for a convention and found this hotel just a short drive away. So pleased that it was nice and inexpensive. Linda at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. Helped us get in our room 30 minutes early after a really long trip. Stopped by the front desk the next afternoon and she remembered me and my room number when I asked for extra towels. Parking was free, convenient, and safe. The hotel is a little older but kept up very nicely and its within walking distance to ICON park that has lots of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is extra but that works for me since I usually skip it and it kept my room price lower. They have a Seattle's Best in the lobby that was great and open early. I would recommend this hotel and stay again. If you can get a corner room, its quiet and large.

The room was super clean / Avi, the staff member at the front desk was a superstar and deserves a raise. The owner of the property would be smart to increase her pay immediately / The breakfast WAS NOT free as Hotels.com has advertised / The Air conditioning was the coldest I’ve ever had in a hotel room which was excellent / The Holiday Inn guy I talked to before I booked the room from this hotel misinformed me that they had a shuttle that would take me to the Orange County Convention Center. They were very wrong! That cost me over $20 a day times 3 days to park at the Center. Another Holiday Inn at Seaworld recommended I stay there because their shuttle wouldn’t take me there. To find out this location didn’t even have one was terrible communication on that guy’s part. So some things were excellent but a few staff poorly messaged their lack of services and costs. Those are the simple things that shouldn’t be missed.

Good hotel in convenient location on I Drive opposite ICON park. Hotel common areas immaculate. Clean rooms with daily maid service. Guest rooms minimalistic and functional but look ready for a refit though. Room lobby light wasn't working making walk in wardrobe dark. Reported issue which didn't get sorted and i had to make 2nd request.
