Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Int'l Drive/Convention Center

The location, breakfast and comfort of the hotel were perfect. We went to Volcano Bay and the park was about 10 minutes away. The parking was an extra fee of 16 dollars a day once you got onsite. I thought that should have been included in the room price.

We stopped by in early June so a lot of people there at breakfast, however, the breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

The hotel charges for parking, yet the main parking area appears insufficient for the number of guests. When the lot fills up, guests are directed to additional parking areas around the property. These overflow areas have limited lighting, and there was no visible information regarding security cameras or monitoring. When I raised concerns, staff assured me the area was generally safe but also stated that the hotel would not be responsible for any damage, theft, or other incidents involving parked vehicles. This puts guests in an uncomfortable position—paying for parking while assuming all of the risk themselves. I am not suggesting the area is unsafe, but travelers should be aware of the situation before booking. If the hotel charges for parking, it should either provide a more secure and adequately lit parking experience or clearly disclose the parking limitations and liability policy upfront so guests can make an informed decision.

It was okay. Nothing too fancy. I would like to say they need to add more parking to accommodate their guests especially if I have to pay $16 a day. I want to be able to enjoy my vacation to the fullest and not worrying about getting to the hotel early to get a spot for parking. The two nights I was there I had to park in a back of an alley. Not good.

Paying for parking

The breakfast was okay. More fruit, fresh fruit My room door was open ,I didn't need my card when I arrived. I had to check my room for obvious safety reasons. The elevator was broken. The guy at the desk had to reset the computer I had to wait awhile before I could go to my room. I was disappointed.

Confortable and nice service

The hotel is very close to the parks and other tourist attractions worth visiting, such as Icon Park. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Catalina's attention and customer service are excellent. I hope to return soon. I have no negative comments about the hotel.

Amazing staff, helpful and friendly The pricing is too high. Parking was non-existent yet was still charged 20. Breakfast was very small and there was almost 50 people in line.

The staff were all EXTREMELY nice and helpful. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the area around the hotel every day. Perfect for family!!! We didn't like having to pay for parking. It should be included in the hotel fee.

The staff, specifically Catalina, were just exceptional. She truly is a gem and made our stay so much more enjoyable and memorable. Our room had a strange smell, the air conditioner was loud, and the door stuck badly when attempting to open or close it.

The room was nice but the AC unit seemed very loud. It woke me up when it would kick on overnight. Also, the parking lot is small and I had to park off-property even though I had paid for parking. The free breakfast was pretty good and the breakfast staff were super friendly.

Catalina was exceptional on 6/2/26 @ 9:00. She was very pleasant and friendly. Multiple people asked for things and she was very accommodating. She was also very good with the children. There was a small child that hurt her arm on a chair and was crying. Catalina went over and asked the parents if she was OK and if there was anything she could do to help. She then later came back with a coloring book and crayons to help calm the child. She also made sure the breakfast area was clean and well stocked with food which was nice since most the time at 9:00 the food at hotels is being put up or is sparse even though its till 9:30. This mom really appreciated her attention to detail. Great employee! Loved how close it was to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica Water Park. The pillows way to soft did not support head at all.

Check in was quick and easy. We were in town to visit Epic Universe and after a long drive it was nice to be able to check in quickly and without issues. We were happy to take advantage of the included breakfast which was very well stocked, staffed and had many choices, including hot, ready to go options. Our stay was very comfortable and easy and added to our great experience in Orlando!

Good value property nice tiki bar in the middle with pool in center

For the most part, we greatly enjoyed our time in the hotel and took advantage of its perks. The property is located near major attractions which is great if you are visiting Universal or Disney. The hotel itself was very clean, and the free breakfast was excellent; we always love being able to make our own waffles! We only experienced one major issue during our time there. On one particular day, we made several requests to the front desk for a new set of towels and body wash, but we never received them. We can imagine they must have been very busy on this specific day. Regardless, I would recommend this hotel to others and we will strongly consider revisiting in the future.

The fact that you have to pay 17$ a day (with fees and taxes!!) to park at the same hotel grounds you are staying at is corporate greed and ridiculous. Not sure how we have allowed this to continue and rate this hotel positively.

As a local, the location was great due to being close to the theme parks and walking distance to Icon which was nice. Since they have music, bars and food. Parking was fairly easy but you do have to pay to park.

While the hotel itself appeared to be fine, we encountered an issue with our bathroom on the first night. We reported it promptly and were advised that someone would come to address it. Unfortunately, no one arrived, and we did not receive any communication or follow-up to inform us of a delay. The following morning, we went to the front desk to address the issue again. Although someone eventually came to “fix” the problem, the bathroom was still not usable afterward. At that point, we spoke with the manager at the front desk. While she did apologize, there was no further acknowledgment of the inconvenience or any effort made to resolve the situation in a meaningful way. Given the circumstances, we would have expected a more proactive response—such as offering a credit or some form of compensation—rather than a simple apology. Additionally, we had reserved a two-bedroom suite and reasonably expected accommodations that would support multiple guests, such as more than one functional bathroom. Unfortunately, this was not the case, which added to the overall inconvenience. Overall, we were not satisfied with how this matter was handled and felt that the level of service did not meet expectations.

What made it worse is that this wasn’t a one-time mistake—it happened again. Even after informing the front desk about the issue, we were assigned another room that was also already occupied. This shows a serious lack of coordination and attention to guest safety. During one of these incidents, people inside the room screamed, and we were just as shocked and scared. It felt like a dangerous situation, and honestly, we were worried for our safety. No guest should ever have to go through something like this. Overall, this experience was very stressful and disappointing. Proper room management and security should be a basic standard for any hotel, and unfortunately, this property failed badly in that regard. I would not recommend staying here unless they seriously improve their systems and guest safety protocols.

Late night check in… Daniel was first rate with volume of stranded guests and operations. Very polite and accommodating. Katrina was a gem with our breakfast and aided getting items for us to enjoy our meal.

Staff at the breakfast area was very nice. The lady behind the eggs area was so nice and funny. The seating area in the lobby smells so good. The cleaning lady was nice. She brought us new towels. The hotel was quiet, easy parking, walkable to international drive. We were able to walk to the illusions museum. The only thing i didn't like is that I was not able to check in earlier unless i pay $40. Besides that I enjoyed the hotel.

Breakfast need to be properly arranged to avoid overcrowding. Need to replenish items in a timely manner. Bathroom shower curtains need to be cleaned and replaced for every new guest checking in.

The staff and room were great. Everything was very clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the price you see seems super great and reasonable but when you get there they charge you an additional $16/day for parking which is a bit weird considering it is hotel parking and should be for the guests staying there anyways. Still a decent place to stay for a week and the breakfast was good and we did not have any issues checking in. For long stays we will definitely conisder this hotel again.

The guy in the Counter I think he had a bad day. We arrive about 8:30 pm en really he is not in good manner with guest. . My room (617) was without tub curtaiin. We call and they fix it.

Delia was very friendly and made sure i had all the coffee i needed, i was in room 213, vacationing w my boys, she had our room clean every day w clean towels. I just suggest you don’t charge for parking separate especially after you lovk a full stay price, parking fee was a surprise for me… being a single mom it took money away from spending it w my kids.

Laundry service was nonexistent towels never got changed. Kitchenette does not feature any type of plating, silverware or anything like that. Kind of a waste. She’s had hair in them. Towels had hair in them. Did not get fresh towels. The bathtub was clogged. Stains on the rugs. Breakfast was super crowded and most of the food was unavailable. Food was also quite nasty for a hotel breakfast. I’ve had better at a red roof and that’s a motel. Ask for some form of reimbursement they refused. Parking was 20 bucks a night which was not mentioned on the website could’ve easily went somewhere else. I absolutely will not be returning. It’s also a ghetto area. Homeless people were running up to me when I walked to my dog at night.

Great price and location! Bed was soft, staff was nice… but most importantly for us… we were able to have our pup with us for our vacation and unlike a lot of hotels we were allowed to keep her in the room, while kenneled, when we were out! This will be our go to hotel for all future trips! :)

Fairfield has continued to disappoint me over the last few years and this was no exception. The service and room both were what you would expect from a hotel more like Super 8. I will stick with IHG from now on. I spend 1-2 weeks a month in Orlando in hotels and decided to try something in the convention center area compared to Universal area. I will not stay at this particular hotel again and can’t say that I will ever give Fairfield a chance again at all.

The location for this hotel is very convenient, close to most attractions. Now the property is a little bit old but very clean, and staff is very friendly, over all we had a good experience.

We had a 1 bdrm suite, which was very spacious. It was clean and quiet. We had a couple of issues that the front desk handled immediately. There is a $16 per day to park at the hotel, but you can park in the ICON parking garage for free. It's only a 4 minute walk. The room includes a hot breakfast buffet which was nice.

The most important part of a hotel is sleep. I have been to many of the hotels throughout Orlando, but the beds are the worst I have ever slept on in my life (0/10). They are basically foam beds with no support. Spending a week in these beds I had to sleep upright against the headboard with pillows under my top half to gain any support. Lol. 2 of 4 of my family members were popping ibuprofens everyday for bad pain due to these beds. Parking is a joke (2/10). There isn't nearly enough parking, when you arrive you get surprised that they want to charge you +$16/day to fight for a space. The staff are very kind and the absolute best part (10/10). Breakfast is nice but has repetitive choices(7/10). Property is clean.(9/10)

Had mold on top of my refrigerator for the second time and it was the same room I was in the last time it was never cleaned after 2 weeks until then the last time I was there. Acceptable for a Marriott

We checked in yesterday, got to our room (which smells horrible like strong mildew and is also an accessible room which we did not request), dropped off our stuff and went to eat. When we got back late at night and got ready for showers we couldn’t turn the shower on because the handle was broken. At that hour they had to send someone up to figure out how to fix it. Once we finally all got showered and headed to bed, we couldn’t sleep between the black spots on the pillows, the club music blaring outside our window, and the AC that seems to be extremely old and loud. At 3am we were all still awake listening to the music coming from outside and AC making all kinds of noises. Today, I reached out to hotels.com, not even requesting a refund for last night, truly only wanting to refund tonight (we still are here for 1 more night) to go stay somewhere cleaner and worth our money, hotels.com said refund was subject to hotel approval, called the hotel and of course they refuse to give us a refund because it’s “non-refundable”. I understand non-refundable if it’s a quality hotel but this is the absolute FARTHEST thing from. I will make sure to post this everywhere I need to so people know the photos and 5 star reviews and fake. This is nothing but a failing hotel with poor cleanliness, no upkeep and horrible customer service. - Christine

Surprised to see that the parking is charged at $16 per night and not necessarily limited to guests of the hotel. There were QR codes in the parking lot. Basically anyone can pay for parking and prevent guests from being able to park in the hotel parking lot.

Thanks to Daniel at the front desk, who was extremely kind and so helpful after a very long and tiring day, assisted me and checking in. The staff at the Fairfield are professional and extremely helpful. My room was very spacious with a large living room large master bedroom. It even offers a small round kitchen table with fridge. For the night day was very comfortable. Just wanted to mention a few areas of improvement would be adding more parking, making some updates and renovation to the bathrooms and shower showerheads.

What I really liked was the property was just off of the central portion of International Dr so there was a lot of entertainment and dining choices nearby. The only negative for me was the limited parking spaces at the hotel and having to pay for that parking.

Ultimately, the room was simply too rundown- a disappointment. When we arrived the handicap accessible washroom (not requested) was covered in hair - the hand towels had a bunch of long curly hair attached to it and the floor had mop debris with hair in various areas of the floor. From that moment on the room felt… grimy. In the middle of our stay our door handle no longer worked and it had to be replaced. The staff was stellar and very responsive, but I hold cleanliness as a top priority and this hotel simply doesn’t. Too bad because the staff is lovely and the convenience to icon park and the convention center was ideal. Do better Marriot!

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were amazing and very welcoming. Silvia and her coworkers did a wonderful job on breakfast everyday and were very lovely. So much in the area you can walk to. The gym and pool were very good! I will stay here again when I come back! Thank you to all staff for everything during our stay.

El Hotel cumplio nuestras espectativas, aunque en la habitacion no teniamos blower, pero aun asi no cambia niestra opinion. Un servicio de los empleados cinco estrellas, desde el joven que nos recibio en el estacionamiento, el joven de la recepcion, las chicas que sirven el desayuno Sylvia, Isidra y las otras dos chicas espectaculares! Tenemos que decir todos, todos los empleados hacen sentir a los huespedes como en casa. Las camas super comodas, extremadamente limpias, tenia microondas, cafetera, neverita, televisor. El baño muy limpio. En fin lo recomiendo 100%.

Nice hotel within walking distance to Pointe Orlando and the Orlando Eye, clean, nice staff. No problems at all with our stay, my only issue is the $16 a day parking, this wasn’t listed on the reservation and you really have no other option except to pay it because there’s no free parking any where else. Luckily we only had a 1 night stay. I wouldn’t say they have a breakfast buffet or restaurant, that’s quite the stretch. However they do have a free continental breakfast with waffles and etc downstairs in the lobby. Never saw a bartender at the bar. Nice hotel though, we’ll probably stay again.

This property was great for its price. The staff was attentive and everything was nice and clean. The only thing I would suggest is to not charge for parking, but other than that it was great.

I arrived to the hotel at 3:38pm, check-in was at 3. The room wasn’t even ready. My son was sick from the trip and had a fever and we had to wait in the lobby for an hour just to get the room we reserved. Once we were upstairs, I noticed hair in the sink and a ring around the inside of the toilet. I wanted to give my son a cool bath but the tub stopper was broken so no bath. I finally unpacked everything and went to lay down and I found blonde hairs in my sheets. Our hair is brown/black. Our pillows had stains and so did the sheets. For the inconvenience they credited parking, but for all of that, management should have done better. They did offer another room, but my son was still sick and we had unpacked too much to move at this point. Also, 2 days into our stay, the tv just went black and stopped working. I never leave reviews, but this had to be told. I should have received a free night as well.

This is a very good place to stay for the price/location. The only small issue is because I stayed on easter, the parking lot get jammed overnight so it was not easy to find a spot and maybe you will need to park on the street, that feels very safe.

The girls and personal in the breakfast was friendly and provide good service .The room cleaning was very good, every day change towels and clean the room. In front desk many people willing to help you.

Everything was good and the location was near to all the excitement.

We had a suite it was comfortable and well laid out

I wish we could do self check out to use app. Room was neatly clean But pillows were awful, all three were crumbling and weirdly soft, I had pain in the morning

They never returned the $40 fee they charged me, the shower curtain was broken, $16 parking per day and there was no parking available, too much work to find a parking space, I don't recommend it.

Very nice clean hotel with helpful staff. My Room was very spacious. Hotel was ideally situated for bus tour pickups from Ikon Park.

$16 a night for parking, why not just add it into the bill? Breakfast was minuscule compared to any other Fairfield I have ever stayed at. Redeemably close to Universal Studios and Disney.

Great stay! Spent three nights and never had to move the truck! Staff was smiling, professional and helpful. Everyone from front desk, breakfast staff, house keeping and just random staff in hallway greeted and smiled. Great location beside ICON park. Plenty of food within walking distance. Entire hotel was very clean. These folks know what customer service means! We will not only be back but will be recommending to our friends and business associates?
