The staff is very nice

Room was ok but they need to replace the A/C unit. It was making noise all night, every time the compressor kick on it was shaking the entire wall…. Nice hotel but hard to have a good sleep.

Love this Courtyard so much! My husband and I spent our Thanksgiving, Christmas and Birthdays here plus another staycation just because the rates were incredible! The staff is probably the best part particularly the woman who works the coffee stand/breakfast! They remembered us from our previous stays and really made us feel special. Add the breakfast option on as it’s the best deal we’ve come across during our many different stays at other hotels. Convenient to ICON Park and all the shopping/restaurants they have to offer!

I enjoyed the stay and my breakfast. My only complaint is that they didn’t have USB outlets in the room. Seems like a very basic modern thing that even outdated hotels have.

The room had some odd stains by the bathroom area, other than that it was clean. The location was perfect. Right across the street from ICON park. Close walking distance to several restaurants and the trolley is great too.

Special recognition for service to Rosa (general manager), Keila and chef (sorry I couldn't get her name) for breakfast, and Paul Hof (front desk). Service by all personnel was top-notch. Will recommend. The only skip in service was, the use of the laptop during boarding pass acquisition. Got the check-in with the airline, but couldn't print them. Although connected to the laptop, in didn't print- there was no connection to it. But, Paul Hof help me and he print them using the front printer- thanks a lot Paul, great guy. he is the kind of guy that made you feel great.

Clean room , quiet , amazing service

The not so good: I prepaid for breakfast and I wish I hadn’t. The food was meh. The second and third days I had to request that the items I ordered came with everything described on the menu because the first day they left items out. It didn’t feel worth it to pay $50 for a breakfast neither of us cared to eat. The morning of checkout I had a series of charges to my card. I had to go to the front desk to get that cleared up. The woman was very nice, but she couldn’t explain the additional $110 dollars I was charged.

Property was fine. We had an accessable room. It seemed a bit rundown but was totally fine. There was no free breakfast or anything so we didn't really try anything else at the hotel. It was a good stay overall and good location to Universal.

The breakfast add-on is surprisingly a wonderful deal! It costs $11 extra a night for my husband and I and it’s saves us hundreds on a few nights trip! Perfect place for couples without children as it’s very quiet and intimate not a bustling resort. Our go to hotel as locals looking for a vacation from the vacation capital!

Love this hotel! The staff is amazing especially the woman at the coffee bar and the rooms are clean and well appointed. You can’t go wrong with the location and the location and the price. My husband and I are locals but this is our go to staycation spot. Add on the breakfast, you won’t be disappointed!

The room we were assigned in was very neglected. It looks like it was not checked out thoroughly because one of the beds had someone peed on it and you can smell the pee through the sheets and they got on our clothes. So this is telling me they just made up the bed without changing the sheets because if they would’ve changed the sheets, they would’ve seen the peace stain on the mattress like we did. Still haven’t heard from management regarding this situation so I’m very disappointed. I’ve been a member since 2009.

Hotel was dated. Clean outside and well lighted. Safe parking. Check in was positive, quick and friendly. Upon entering room smelled fresh. No smoking smell. Beds were comfortable and well made. Bathroom and sink area was spotless.air condition was controlled by digital thermostat that worked well. Airconditioning kept room comfortable however was a bIt noisy at time but nothing intolerable. Slept well through out our stay. Overall, we were pleased with this hotel depite being dated. But it is welcoming and the staff is respectful and accomodating so i would return again in the future to stay.

Room was clean that was important . But checking in was bad becuz I made the reservation an hour before arriving and when I got there I still had to wait 20-30 minutes . The staff member said Expedia still had not processed my reservation . What ??? Expedia had already billed the stay why make me wait ?? Unacceptable.

The beds and pillows are horrible and need to be replaced. There was a large deviation in the middle of both beds and we literally had to hold on or put a leg off the side of the bed to keep us from falling into the middle of the bed and on top of each other. Two bath towels in a two bed room doesn’t make sense. This is marriott, our expectations were much higher. There are much better options on I-Drive!

It was not advertised correctly. Turns out theres a starbucks kiosk on site that is rarely open and “free breakfast” was for 2 in my party of 4 and was a muffin, yogurt and juice. My oarty was 4 ppl… why would “free breakfast” only be for 2, and should have been advertised better. I expected what all other hotels offer for free breakfast. Disappointed and hungry. There was also no free late night coffee or anything, the starbucks wasnt open at 6:30am nor noon.. very scattered

We had an excellent stay at the Courtyard by Marriott! We were greeted by the wonderful overnight manager, Paul, who got us checked in very promptly and accommodated us with all the requests we had. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful, both food and service!!!!! The coffee is great too. Checkout was fast and easy. I would absolutely stay here again, and would encourage others to do so.

The location is excellent for various dining and entertainment options at Icon Park. My only complaint is that the bed was so hard I could have slept on the floor and had the same comfort level.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly helpful and polite. The location is great. Love the set up of the room with easy access to the pool through the backdoor of the room. However, the bed is terrible. Its the most uncomfortable bed i have ever tried to sleep on. The sofa bed for my daughter had a tiny blanket and no pillows. When we asked for two pillows for her the very apologetic staff who really tried to comply only managed to come up with one pillow and they truly seemed to feel bad about it. Staff amazing but comfort leaves a lot to be desired

The staff was very nice, and accommodating! The property and room was well maintained, clean, and tidy. There were a lot of restaurants nearby since it’s super close to ICON park, but there’s also a lot of traffic.

This hotel was close to everything and was clean and quiet parking was abundant and safe totally worth the price for the convenience and comfort

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here for 3 days and were very satisfied. The value for money was excellent. The hotel offers breakfast as well as free parking included in the price, with no additional charges. There were also no hidden fees like you usually encounter in Orlando. The hotel is located in a great area, close to many attractions, outlets, malls, and theme parks. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can also find some excellent restaurants. We will definitely recommend it to our friends as well.

I had reached out to the reservation department and asked if they had birthday baskets that were complementary to put in the rooms the gentleman I spoke to said he was gonna put in a request and I said OK great when I got to the hotel, I asked the girl at the front desk just to verify She gave an attitude and then she said she had to talk to the manager when I got to the room. She called me to the front desk and said no we don’t do that. When I told her I spoke to somebody she asked me for the person saying unfortunately it was three weeks almost a month prior that I had spoken to someone I didn’t remember. I just told her I spoke to someone. They said they were gonna put in a request when I called back at the same number that I spoke to the reservation department again They escalated it to a manager and the manager said well they told us they don’t do that and I said OK I am not mad at the fact that we didn’t get the basket. I am bothered at the lack of communication you were told but nobody communicated that with me. I came expecting something because I was told and I’m finding out now that we’re not getting that you guys are cleaning your hands you’re not even saying hey listen I’m sorry nobody communicated. You know here’s a free soda or coffee or a dinner voucher you know like nobody had to go above and beyond at least apologize was the minimal and we didn’t even get that. No, we don’t do it that that’s it.

Great stay! The room was spotless, comfortable, and I especially loved the setup with the separate living area from the bedroom — it made the space feel extra relaxing. The staff went above and beyond by decorating the room for my girlfriend’s birthday, which really made the experience feel special. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touch and the warm hospitality. Highly recommend!

The staff was very nice and supportive, the evening employee, I dont remember his name, but he was super nice and attentive, really save the day in many aspects! The area where the hotel is located is perfect, right across from the Orlando Eye and Icon Park, lots of restaurants and atractions, shopping. Tha parking in the hotel was free, very close to all doors, so very accessible. The breakfast was delicious and made to order and included for 2 people on my stay. Starbucks-trademark coffee in the bistro downstairs. I would only take off .5 stars because the bathroom floor was not very clean, the tub took a bit of time to drain, and they did not do housekeeping one day for me, probably because I forgot to take off the “Dreaming big dreams” sign, but well, not sure. Everything else was absolutely perfect. And affordable! I definitely recomend it and will ne returning!

The location was good. In the center of everything The fragrance they used seemed like it was trying too hard to cover a bad smell. Very strong the moment you walked in the building. Dust was on the coffee pot and light fixtures. Only 2 towels were provided. Curtain didn't close all the way so there was a gap of light in the mornings. TV was in a weird position from the bed so we had to turn to watch it instead of watching from straight on. Bed wasn't made well. Looked rushed and blankets were just stuffed under mattress sloppily.

We got there later than expected and Paul held our reservation. After driving all night through the rain. I was so concerned. I didn’t like how now when you call on the phone you can’t be connected directly to the hotel. You have to talk to 3 different people before you get where you need. But once I talked to the hotel it was great. I’m really not a fan of the 3rd vendor.

Lobby looked nice but rooms and hallways need major upgrades. Old rooms that need better cleaning, it stunk. No microwaves in rooms. One of the elevators was out of order during my stay. Housekeeping never stopped by my room for the two nights I stayed. Front desk man was the only thing I respected and made my day. Would not stay again for that price. I expected better from a Marriott hotel.

The property is nice and we had a good time in general. After all, it is a Marriot hotel... however, it needs some renovations. It felt like a trip to the past, specially the bathroom in the room; it looks as if it is from the 1960s... the price was $200/night, and even though it was very clean, friendly staff and great location (again, Marriot standards), I feel the building and rooms could use some renovations to bring them to the year 2025!

Overall, the stay was good and quiet, associate Paul was awesome at check in. Paul has very good hospitality.

This hotel needs a remodel. Very worn and used. Carpet has stains in the hallways and the rooms aren't much better.

Stay was decent. Biggest issue was WiFi connectivity. Had a ton of work to get through and was unable to complete due to connectivity issues. It was really annoying. Front desk clerk Susan was a pleasure.

The major benefit of this property is its proximity to the Disney and Universal properties. It has no frills or good amenities. The bathroom was one of the most outdated ones I've seen in years. Truly a white box with no windows or exhaust fan. Toilet seat was unable to stay up either. There was NO safe in the room either. However, lobby did serve food and coffee early, although it was ridiculously overpriced.

Understandably, it's after a storm. As a first time guest of a Marriott property, it's not the standard I'd thought it to be. After traveling 3 hours and wanting to relax from the chaos, damages, and stress from being in the eye of Milton... we had to wait an hour for a room to be cleaned at 6p in the evening. No one to operate the bar. The room itself was oddly arranged and the bed was awfully hard and uncomfortable. Overall just not the expectation I had for a Marriott
