Rooms were clean, staff kept property nice! Great stay

Unfortunately our room wasn't made available until nearly 6pm, access to the water facilities closes at 7p with no access the following day before checkout as the water facilities do not open until 11a which is checkout time. Once we got our room number there was a discrepancy between the emails and calls causing us to go to the wrong room and then the correct room, the key wouldn't work. Once staff was notified they sent a representative to the room and got us access pretty quickly. The rooms could use some freshening up. Overall between the resort fee, the parking fee and the minimal usage of the water facilities, it was not worth the money sadly.

I had an amazing stay at the CoCo Key Hotel & Water Park Resort in Orlando! The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and everything looks modern, clean, and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The water park and resort amenities made the experience even more enjoyable. Rooms were squeaky clean. Site itself has been upgraded, and they are keeping more on top of it as the years go on. It seems the place is under new management as it operates at a higher level than years passed visits.

This hotel and water park is awesome! We stayed 5 days with 2 boys (6) and (9) and we couldn’t get them out of the water. This place also has an arcade and mini golf on site, however they cost extra to use either one. as one can purchase a game card like Dave and Busters to play the games win tickets and get cheap prizes..not our highlight but still fun. There is a bar on site however you will pay for drinks just like any other resort you go too. The rooms were nice and remolded, nothing fancy but simple. Staff at front desk was very helpful, they held our bags after we checked out and still let us swim for the day, ( we didn’t fly out until 8:30 pm) they also gave us free I ride passes for every day we wanted to ride the bus. There’s a few restaurants and cheap souvenir shops across the street which was convenient when you’re on a budget. This hotel is located in a great place to get to the amusement parks easily. NOW THE NEGATIVE! our mini fridge froze our drinks and there was no temperature setting on there, the safe in the room should be bolted to the wall or floor not sitting loose on the bottom shelf ( you don’t feel comfortable leaving valuables or money in there knowing the safe could walk away. The shower door is backwards.( you open door, turn on shower, adjust temperature and get in.. not here.. you open door, reach to the back of shower to turn it on, it’s not right. Please put down shower mats and sticky’s in the shower it’s slippery getting in and out 👍 hotel

Room was clean, staff were friendly, and the pool was nice. The tv only worked 25% of the time so thankfully we weren’t in the room too much. Also, don’t eat at the restaurant unless you plan to wait a while. While being the only family there to eat, we waited over 30 minutes before asking about the status of our dinner. We were then told it’d be another 20 minutes or so and that there was only 1 cook taking orders for those around the resort. Not a great setup. They generously refunded our order and we went elsewhere. Otherwise, a nice place to stay with several amenities!

The prices are OK for the area. The Resort is a few years older, but in good shape. The rooms have been updated for rest after a busy vacation in down. It was near good fast food and great dining locations.

Lo recomiendo 100% perfecto para familias y sobretodo para niños. Fuimos con una niña de cumpleaños y la pasó muy bien. El personal bien pero puede mejorar en su amabilidad y sobretodo ser bilingue ya que al hotel vamos personas de todos los países y no todos dominamos en inglés y menos sin tener un poco de ayuda con el personal pero de lo demás todo perfecto, limpio y el desayuno buffet bueno, piscinas perfecto.

The location was everything everything is in walking distance that you need. We had a lot of fun walking around doing stuff. The waterpark was fun. My kids really enjoyed it love that there was multiple pools and they were heated.

The construction noise was noticeable throughout the stay, making it difficult to relax. The room itself had not been updated and felt outdated compared to what was advertised. Considering the condition of the room and the ongoing renovations, I found the hotel to be overpriced. A helpful tip for future guests: do not purchase the breakfast package through Expedia. Breakfast is available for a lower price directly through the hotel, and children eat free, which can save families a significant amount of money. We also attended the timeshare presentation. Be prepared to wait a long time before being called in. The process was not well organized, so plan accordingly and be aware of the time commitment before agreeing to participate. Overall, the water park was enjoyable for the kids, but the hotel experience and value for the price were disappointing.

Hotel was so clean so beautiful so big. The pools were great. The water slides were awesome. Arcade restaurant were great. And best of all stores are so close to the hotel.

The door for room 6509 was hard to open and had to slam to close it. Bathroom door was unable to be shut fully, too. Overall, great place to stay at! Thanks you.

Overall Reaort was perfect for the kids. Restrooms were a little questionable next to pool, but understandable with amount of traffic. Food kinda pricey but was pretty good!

The hotel and water park were clean and fun. I wish the water park would’ve opened even an hour earlier as my young kid gets up at the crack of dawn. Park of the “flooring” at the water park is ripping up and needs replaced, but it was fun. The cost of foods or drinks or arcade games was insanely high, which is normal for resorts and yet woukd be nice if they could make it more reasonable for families.

So I’ve been coming here for years since my oldest was a child. Soo happy to bring my youngest daughter along. Anytime we come here to stay, the staff has gone above and beyond our expectations. We came here for a get away and quality time and I slept like a rock! The comfiest beds, ice cold air conditioning and our room across the waterpark was the cherry on top. We spent endless hours at the waterpark and relaxed at the hot tub for the evening. We’re always sad to leave, but will be back very very soon! Thanks Cocokey and staff! :)

It has been renovated so that was nice. The beds weren’t great. Definitely time to replace the mattresses. The elevators were dirty, gross smudges on the walls. My kids loved the water slides.

Pools, slides. Magnet photo machine There was a significant miscommunication during our stay. The towels in Room 5102 were never changed, even after we were told they would be. We reported an issue (a cockroach reported in Room 5102. Additionally, two lights were not working in Room 5101. and, as a courtesy, were offered a late checkout at 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy that extra time. Four or more staff members came to the room, and at least three of them were unaware that we had been authorized to check out at 2:00 PM. We left the room briefly to go to the store, and when we returned, our room key no longer worked. I called from Room 5101 to report the issue. The employee informed me that there was no documentation showing our late checkout approval. I explained the situation, but I was simply told that I would need to go to the office to have the key reactivated. I requested that someone come and open the door for us, as the error was not on our part. Also cash should be a way of payment.

How can I choose! The price! The staff! The cleanliness! The amenities! Parking should be set aside for hotel clients and a separate section for daytime park users.

The room that I received smell like a mold. I saw some room that was remodeled empty, I suggest to offer those one to the guest is their are available. Also the AC filter was dust.

The hotel is a bit out dated but during our stay they were performing some repairs. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

We stayed just one day and night, it was good my kids of course love it, the room was upgraded and nice, the park need some repairs the floor is bad on the pool my daughter fell twice because, and the water on the pool and water park was ice frozen then if you are going for the pool and the park it just has to be way in summer otherwise the water is to cold for kids and they can get sick, other that that is great to have fun

The pool areas look nice as well as the entrance but the buildings are old and dilapidated. We went to check in, saw the room in which they gave us the wrong room that would not accommodate my family size and we requested a refund and did not stay. The smell was so bad and it was one of those places that I’d be scared to take off my shoes in the room or even sleep on the bed. I booked a room that was supposed to be a bunkbed a king bed, and recently renovated, and it was not that at all it was a queen bed and no bunkbeds and it was old and rotten. The staff seemed friendly and inquisitive. I’m sure they deal with this often.

The shower leaked, the fridge didn’t work, the ac was either Antarctica or the rainforest (set over 70 and condensation pooled on the floors and dropped down the walls). The entire property smelled like whacky tobacky… but there was a Starbucks on property that was decent and my kids loved the waterpark… hooks to hang towels or somewhere to put wet bathing suits would have been nice as well as a real table and chair

I loved the cleanliness of the resort. I didn’t like that it had a motel layout and that it didn’t have an elevator for the building we stayed in. Just my personal preference. For out of state travelers who have lots of luggage it was a minor hiccup. However the rooms were really nice the floors just needed to be replaced. I would stay again and just request a level 1 room next time.

The water park was the only thing that I liked about the property. For the one day I was there in front of the property was a big pile of trash. There was a lot of noise during the day due to construction and at night you can hear from outside due to lack of sound proof. I finally fall asleep and woke up at 5:00 am due to waste picking up outside for almost an hour.

Enjoyed the water park amenties. Did not get checked into room until almost 7 p.m. Arrived by 4 p.m. Spoke to Management regarding compensation to make it right and the response is that they follow the schedule of the" humans" If someone in that room checks out late it takes longer for staff to clean and therefore I could not get into room until then. Management said they could not relocate me to a different room. King size room was not renovated, had old plug ins that did not work, lamps did not work properly. As soon as got into the water park the water park closed early by 8:30 p.m for cleaning. Very dissapointing. Was charged additional money even though already paid and booked online. Waiting for a refund now.

The water park was the only saving grace The rooms were gross humid. And fairly ghetto even in the newly renovated rooms. When we were eating breakfast at the buffet, we found a giant hairball in the gravy and the food was all pretty bad. Undercooked bacon and just overall low quality choices.

We really enjoyed this hidden gem. We will definitely keep this as our go to hotel any time we come to Orlando

Pros: waterpark included, never have to leave property -breakfast buffet that was affordable -really close to everything and tons of walking shoppable options Cons: shuttle service isn't great. If you're going to the parks, stay on property. -rooms are just okay, standard upscale motel rooms. -if you have an upgrade to your package be sure to settle the details before going to your room. We had a birthday surprise that was supposed to be for Friday but they had it in our room on arrival on Tuesday night and kind of spoiled it. All in all, would recommend!

It was a good experience with little ones. We stay in the new tower which was under renovation but no issues had. I would stay here again. My kids enjoyed the water park and pool. There’s food options, parking at a charge.

We had a problem about our room being flooded. We called Expedia Expedia got a statement from them, which was a lie. I sent the pictures to Expedia. Email the supervisor told me that I only had two choices to leave by 1 o’clock and get my money back or stay and get nothing when I asked him what money I will get back you only said $66 even though I spent $1300 on the trip.

The hotel room was dirty everyday I was there. There was empty beer bottles near the pool where kids were playing. A couple was “doing it” in the pool near my kids. All the parents were taking there kid out the pool.It was so disgusting. I couldn’t stay here ever again.

My family and i was the first time going to florida and we were so excited when we saw the coco key hotel we love it the pools were excellent the water slide was so much fun definitely we would go next vacation and stay there..

The waterpark is awesome and the rooms were always cleaned by staffs. The hotel is just perfect for where you need to be for SeaWorld, universal, and Disney. The staff and very good, nice and helpful. The only thing that I would say I didn’t like was the pricing for their food and drinks 4 dollars for just water. And 18 dollars for just 1 pizza just insane but if you need food it’s next to the biggest McDonald’s and Burger King. I will come back for sure and if you have a 1 - 3 year old it’s a perfect stay.

The water park and snack bars and staff were all great! Our room was one of the non remodeled ones and our toilet and shower weren’t working great.

Yes we enjoyed the pool. Although the only thing I have negative to say is, I called them the day before I travel there and they told me I could pay with cash and then I get there and they said that I could not pay with cash and so I had to go to the bank then I come back to pay the remaining balance which somehow went up from the original price and then when I get back there, they say there’s also $100 deposit so I had to turn around and go back to the bank again. Very upset about not being told this.

I wanted to not believe some of the reviews but unfortunately some were true. I found a baby roach under the telephone in the room, and it was suppose to be their renovated room, the floors in the room were not clean, took a baby wipe to swipe it was filthy so we kept our socks on. Was suppose to be a one night stay, we ended up leaving after we enjoyed the waterpark. I just felt itchy staying in the room to be honest and our home isn’t far from Orlando so we left. We definitely would pay to use the waterpark only but highly unlikely we will attempt to stay over in their room. Waterpark is well kept from what we saw and my kids and husband enjoyed that piece of it. Please do better with providing cleaner floors and pest control. People pay money to stay here, we don’t want to leave with any bugs we didn’t come to hotel with.

My only issues I had with staying there was. Near the first pool upfront close to jacuzzi smelled like cat urine. Also in the shower in room the curtains needs to be longer. Otherwise house keeping always going to have a mess to clean up.

Overall water park is the best feature if you’re looking only for that.

The great part about our stay was that we stayed in building 6, which was away from both the pool areas. The breakfast buffet was ok but it was the same thing every single day. They did not switch anything up and the eggs were always so runny.

I stayed here with my kids last weekend and it wasnso much fun for my kods they loved it.

The property is obviously in need of a lot of work. You can see that they're making efforts to upgrade and I was fortunate enough to get an upgraded room. Although the facility as a whole is old and worn, they do a great job to keep it clean.

The activities were pretty much closed on Sunday so we didn’t get to really enjoy it. The staff was called multiple times to my room even when I extended my day and they would not even come. I’ve definitely had a better time at this hotel two years ago, but this wasn’t the experience that I needed for the money that I paid.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The waterpark, pool area, arcade and other recreational areas were decent and generally well cared for. Our room was ok. The beds were very hard. There were empty soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. There were 2 doors in our room that open up to allow you to join rooms together, because there is about an inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor you can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. Also, having to walk through clouds of marijuana vape while there's a bunch little kids dancing and hoola hooping next to the bar just felt odd to me. Not judging what people do, just feel like the set up could be better.

Place is very dirty. Rooms are small and very noisy. Blinds don’t block out outside lighting. A/C unit is poor. My daughter saw a large black bug in the bathroom during the night causing her to scream waking us up ( she’s 7). Bug scurried under door. We checked out next day even though we had 3 days booked. Staff told us we would be refunded for final 2 nights. We never received the refund. Pictures are deceiving. Use caution..

get ready for dinner and it still wasn’t cleaned. It took us three days to get a working coffee pot the bugs around the pool, where her redness my poor grandchildren got eaten alive by these black things they really should think about spraying. We will never stay there again. They were dirty diapers, laying all over and I know people have babies, but clean up after yourself.

Great waterpark for the family. Staff was very friendly. There was a very loud pool party until midnight. It shook our room. When we reached out to the front desk they said it was supposed to end at 10pm. The room was very dated and had a very strong smell to it.

Water park and location were great. Housekeeping was prompt and on top of things. We were staying for 4 nights and did not have a renovated room. Only one elevator was operating the entire time of our stay. There was a function booked during a night of our stay and music was playing extremely loud until after midnight. Food on site was ok but pretty expensive.

Our bathroom smelled of fish tank and I didn’t know till the end but a roach was found in our room. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay

The hotel itself has some restaurants and a Starbucks right in the hotel. The surrounding area had lots of restaurants and little shops that could easily be walked too. We went out at night and felt very safe. We were travelling with an electric mobility scooter, Luckily we were on the bottom floor however there is only and elevator in building number 6 so if you have accessibility needs make sure to ask for building 6 or the bottom floor in the other buildings. Overall the hotel was fun safe and clean, comfortable beds, excellent AC, also excellent water pressure in the shower!

Not as updated as advertised. Outside of facility could really use some TLC. A budget friendly option if you have kids to use the Waterpark but you get what you pay for. We wouldnt stay there again.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! There were so many activities for kids to enjoy, and my daughter made so many friends during our stay, which made it even more special. The location is amazing—everything is within walking distance or just a quick scooter or bike ride away, including tons of great restaurants. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Coco is a pretty property and in a semi walkable area. The only complaint would be the food. The choices were limited so we ate elsewhere most of the time

unfortunately, it does not match the description or images online at the time of booking. The room appears significantly older, worn, and run down compared to what was advertised. The condition and overall quality fall well below the expectations set by the listing.

The toilet in our room was filthy (puke stain going down the side) when we checked in. I asked guest services for housekeeping to come to our room 6 times over 8 hours and nobody came. Finally I asked for a room change, and they gave us the room next door rather than have housekeeping come and clean the toilet, forcing us to pack up and move all our luggage for a two day stay.

What’s even worse is their dishonest and predatory billing practices. They try to charge guests for “damages” that were not caused by them. When confronted, they fail to provide any clear evidence, documentation, or reasonable explanation to justify these charges. It feels like a blatant attempt to take advantage of guests after their stay. Customer service is unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real support or resolution. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, they deflect and leave you stuck dealing with unfair charges. Overall, this was a frustrating and unacceptable experience. Between the poor room conditions and questionable billing tactics, this place is absolutely not worth your time or money. Book somewhere else and save yourself the headache.

Room was clean, really wish the indoor water area opened earlier as we paid resort fees but the kids only got two hours total to play. First night we had no water so no working toilet, shower, etc. Staff was very nice, but our overall experience wasn’t what I expected. Might give it a second chance depending on our schedule next time we’re in Orlando.

The only issue we experienced was the water being temporarily shut off due to a main pipe bursting, which definitely caught me off guard. However, I truly appreciated how quickly and professionally management handled the situation. They compensated me with a refund credit for the resort fees, which made a big difference. Despite the inconvenience, I would definitely come back and stay again. The atmosphere, amenities, and overall experience made it worth it!

It was family friendly. The pools and slides provided a good experience. The bathrooms in the guest rooms could be a little cleaner, not terrible though. Overall, it's a pretty laid back environment, which is important to relax.

We were put in the "tower" which they claim is newly renovated. The floors felt so dirty and our shower would leak outside the tub pooling near the toilet. The renovations were definitely DIY's. The walls and doors were just coats of paint after one another. Very sloppy with the rust seeping through, globs of drips dried, a hole in the bottom corner of the bathroom door, a fault room door lock that took several key swipes before it would finally unlock, the paint was so thick on the doors that it made opening and closing them loud and forceful, only one elevator worked with no sign saying the other one was broken, since only one worked it made it very slow and caused families a lot of frustration, stairs were located outside with a door that never fully closed, and the lifeguards never seemed like they were truly watching. The lifeguards would walk back and forth look at one end for 5 to 10 seconds, nod their head then rinse and repeat. One of the pool gates stopped working on our last day and another lady told me how she got ice from one of the stations and it had a cockroach. Whenever the sprinklers came on it smelt like a sewer. There is so much work that needs to be done in this hotel. We won't be using it again.

The room was not good. It was unsafe the outside door handle was hanging off when we walked up. The door would get stuck when trying to open it to go into the room. There was a roach in the restroom. The room had mold as well. When I called down to speak with someone they hung up.

The only complaints we had were that the bathroom sink took forever to drain, the blinds were not functional, and the renovations they were doing on the floor directly above us created a lot of pounding late at night when we were trying to sleep. Luckily those issues will be taken care of by doing the renovations on all of the rooms. Other than that, we would honestly recommend this hotel to any family who is visiting Orlando.

The beds need better bedding and a thicker blanket. The AC was too cold but when you turn it one degree up the room got too hot. The shower curtain did not stay close and water got everywhere. The staff at the ticket desk was a little rude to me.

It was a horrible experience. I paid additionally to check in early off of a cruise, when we asked before booking if it was available. There was roaches in the rooms we stayed in and it was a very minimal room. We did not use breakfast the morning we left but paid for it. We also did not use the water resort and the hot tub was completely packed each night. Also we were told that no one was there for Universal shuttles after 11 am. We were unhappy the entire experience and were told we would get a refund but never received it.

We went in February after a cold week, Water was freezing in the back half of the hotel with all the slides,I know they are remodeling but our older room smelled musty and we all felt dirty, the cleaner they used the smell will almost kill you in some of the lobbies. Location to everything is good and parking at the hotel is fine. Plenty of places to eat outside of the hotel. Breakfast there was great but have to pay. Pools were clean and well maintained. Air filters in ac were nice and clean always good to see. Water slides were great the kids had fun. Had a few water slide down and out of commission though.

They clean rooms once a week, they bring clean towels, do your bed daily and take out trash but nothing else. Walls are made of paper, you can hear everything the neighbors next door are doing and I mean "everything"!!! They sell premises are family friendly but, will never bring my grandchildren to a place where there is loud music at night and moaning at the middle of the night and early morning.

Rooms were adequate. The resort staff in the breakfast area were absolutely phenomenal! Water park hours were a bit disappointing but the kids loved the outdoor heated pool and hot tub!

Check in was easy, the lady working the desk across from check in was very pushy and not friendly because I didn’t want to listen to her talk about park tickets and other items to get a weeks vacation free. Half of the water park was closed. Room is very outdated. Was okay for a quick trip but I would never stay there longer than that. Especially having to pay a resort fee and parking fee.

This motel is very dated and the plumbing was very bad...toilets and sinks were consistently plugged. Charging $ 50 a day resort fee at this place is insane...the good thing is the property is kept exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive.

We had some issues with the first stream we were upgraded to a beautiful newly remodelled room right in front of the pool! Absolutely gorgeous. The staff were amazing. Unfortunately, the water slideswere closed due to cooler weather.

The room was nice, and for a family trip nice place to stay and let the kids play. The hot tub was amazing and nice to relax in. Activities for the kids in the evening was a nice thing!

I’ve stayed here multiple times but this time was horrible and it was only for 24hrs. I reserved 3 rooms and 2 didn’t have heat! Understandably it’s rare to need it in Florida, but January 2026 it was needed. They put us in the newly renovated rooms. 1) couldn’t accommodate any to be next to each other. 2) the door for the connecting rooms are awkwardly placed in the bathroom. 3) the door to my room didn’t close properly or lock unless you put the double bolt on. All of this was communicated to the front and nothing was done. At check out I was told by management I would be called to describe the inconvenience, but it is now a week after check out still no communication from the hotel. Location at this hotel is always a plus. Reason for the two stars

Stayed a new room, 1/26-2/1. Very nice nd clean, close to everything.

The room was NOT the one I booked. I booked through Hotels.com a King Studio with bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. I got the renovated King Studio that did not have a sleeper sofa. Talked to staff there and they could not help. UGH!!! So frustrating for the rest of us my 6 year old having to sleep with someone.

Room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Only bad point was that the property is under renovation and it was a bit noisy. But the staff told us about it in advance and told us they’d move us if needed.

It was an absolute horrific stay. The entire property is deeply aged and not at all what my family and I are accustomed to. We chose this hotel because of the water park. The waterpark was closed our entire stay. We paid for breakfast for 2 days in the on site breakfast restaurant. You pay this at the front desk upon check in. When we got to the breakfast Monday morning it is a continental breakfast for $20 per person. It was not good at all. Had I known this property would be so nasty we never would have selected it. We will never ever be back it was so nasty!! Not to mention the floor above us make booming sounds all night long each night. Not advertised correctly whatsoever!! Oh and the complimentary shuttle bus. Hahaha what a joke! It’s only complimentary if you make a reservation the day of. Never ever will I make this mistake again in the future.

The room was clean. It needed some renovation. I had to use the plug behind the bed. Hard to get to. There is no closet. Had to hang my clothes on furniture and ironing board. People were friendly. My room was way towards the back parking lot. Seemed like I was along back there.

Staff was very courteous. Room clean however getting into the room was a challenge. Was like the door was stuck and you had to really slam it to get it to open. The shower did not work attempted many times and it appeared the handle to turn it on was loose from the wall. Stayed there because of the water resort and in the four days we were there it was never opened. I understand the weather conditions were cooler however we thought at least the indoor part could’ve been open very disappointing. The Starbucks in the gift shop were closed many times during the day in the evening. The one café they had was undergoing construction and you had to listen to jackhammers taking up the floor.

It was a great experience. The breakfast was great. The pool was great and heated even in the winter. We loved the arcade it had great games. It was a great place for our small getaway. Just sucks we couldn’t stay longer.

Bed squeaky, felt like it would break. There was a guy outside on the phone very loud until about 12:30am, then after him we could hear a woman cursing and shouting and honking nonstop. The floor felt like it couldve been mopped, our socks were dirty after walking in the room. The bathroom door looked like it wasnt secure, if u opened it it made a funny noise and it was shaky. I wouldnt stay here again, I did enjoy the jaccuzi and heated pool. The drinks were 10/10, made by a really kind woman w blonde long hair outside. She was friendly. Receptionist experience when u check in could be better, no one greets you when you walk in or make eye contact. I didnt know where to go or who to ask for assistance

My room was pretty nice. I did read some reviews that made me extremely nervous because others were complaining about their rooms. I did have the newly renovated suite. I had no complaints. My room was serviced well and my children had a wonderful time.

When I got there I was charged $166 more than I already paid for the room rather than explaining to me why he threatened to cancel my room he said just pay or I’m canceling your room after that I was placed in a nasty building that contained a horrible odor the elevator was broken and the stairwell was hazardous but we were so tired we still made our way to the room to sleep hoping the worst was behind us at 7 am I woke to something crawling on my leg it was a roach I smashed it looked around didn’t see more so I figured oh well as soon as I fell back asleep I was startled awake at 8 by sawing and hammering that never stopped it was still occurring at around 11 when I left this was a horrible experience the treatment by staff was horrendous and they shouldn’t have rented a room in that building to anyone while it’s under renovation they charged me for parking then there was no where to park because there were construction pallets everywhere had to sit in my car and actually wait for someone to leave

Hotel was very clean and updated. Water part looked fun (too cold to swim), pool area was nice, staff was friendly. My only complaint was because of the connecting door to the room beside us, we could hear the family in the room next to us. We could hear them using the bathroom, the conversations, I could hear them sneezing. Made it hard to sleep.

The pool was very nice , however they did have Scheduled events that they never showed up to do . When asking the staff no one seemed to know anything. The food was good but way over priced . Enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was clean and well stocked. My only complaint was, they didn’t have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Aside from that, we had a great experience, and would definitely stay there again.

Upon discovering the closure, I spoke with the manager and requested a refund so we could stay elsewhere, as this information was not clearly stated at the time of booking. The request was denied, and Expedia was also unable to offer any assistance. The lack of flexibility and customer service was extremely disappointing, especially considering this was only a single-night reservation. While we were offered a $25 credit, it did not come close to resolving the situation, as the waterpark was the primary reason for our stay. Unfortunately, this experience negatively impacted the remainder of our trip. It is especially disappointing because this is a hotel we would have considered staying at again in the future, but the lack of empathy and customer service has resulted in a loss of our business.

There were people running up and down the hallways all night screaming until the early hours of the morning and guests smoking weed in the parking lot. I complained to the front desk about the service and they sent someone to clean the room at 7 pm on our last night. We had been at the parks all day and I needed to rest so we declined. They did not offer any other compensation or money off our final bill. Do NOT stay here. It is a gross place.

We had a great time! Wasn't too crowded and the pool was great! But the quality was alittle lacking. Rotting baseboards, joined room doors that were just painted over to "seal". Also the rooms were all joined, we had two doors to two other rooms. You could hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. Overall, it was a good stay just some cheaper aspects. Would probably consider staying again.

Room had roaches I had to kill 4 of them. When the room was cleaned by the house keeping there were crumbs in the bed under the sheets that we did broth put there. There was also food all over the floors. And all the towels that were provided each day had someone else’s hair on them. Pool area was nice but house keeping was terrible. And they don’t even have a stand up mirror on the wall or nothing.

Upon arrival I was informed my reservation had been cancelled due to my flight being cancelled but I called and let someone know the situation

Our toilet kept running and running throughout the length of our stay and the lights in the hotel room went out. The beds are old spring mattresses and you could feel the springs. They need to update the rooms and get new beds at least. The showers had SUPER low water pressure and the water was either super hot or like warm.

The rooms were definitely neglected I couldn’t imagine the owners of this establishment bringing their family here for a weekend get away. The interior was so ran down with multiple patch up work. In addition to it being aesthetically displeasing the water park was not open which should have been mentioned at the time of booking. Also the beds were soo uncomfortable felt like a mat on the floor and the pillows were so flat when taking a look inside the pillow case they were down right dirty. Please do more research before booking this one

The description on hotels.com family room its totally different then reality. We were told that hotel doesn't have room that we booked at all. Rooms are very poor, floor swiped but not washed. Shuttle offered on website is another scam. Goes one time a day at inconvenient time.

I will like to extent my gratitude to Melissa at guess services, who was welcoming while checking us in. I only have one drawback, there were no closet in my room. It was very family friendly.

Room 2205 had a dog barking non stop and 2217 was loud as hell. The ajoined rooms are terrible with noise. Worst visit at a resort that I’ve had. Had to check out at the computer so couldn’t even talk to a person about it. Terrible stay.

The time-share welcome package that’s offered the minute you walk in is annoying!

The walkway areas need cleaning and the smell in the elevator and hallways needs attention. The room was not the best, but not the worst. The pool area was clean and the kids had a blast.

Room was very clean and spacious, and the employees were very helpful.

Tv remote had dead batteries the bathtub drain wasn't draining. The breakfast buffet was only alittle cold on eggs and French toast

Loved the beach feeling, also loved the waterslide park area for the family. Shopping and restaurants were walkable. Great location

Found cockroach in one of the drawers who was pretty much alive.

The beds were not comfortable, and the pillows were very flat and we could smell marijuana in our room from neighboring rooms at night. There were loud noises at night outside and people partying at 1am and we did not feel safe.

We showed to find there were resort fees and daily parking fees and a hotel deposit. That was disappointing when you have a vacation budget for the family only to find out later your budget was cut into by resort fees. That's terrible

Lots of construction going on at Cocokey. Water park wasn’t open very often or at all when we went by. Older hotel, minimal blankets and water doesn’t fully shut off in bathrooms. Bring your own pillows.

The room was clean and the staff were wonderful. However what made this resort excellent are the amenities offered. The pool area was ideal for celebrating my daughter’s 6th birthday. She had a blast and she so happy therefore I was ecstatic. Loved this resort and I will be back and tell others about it! Thank you 😍

We had a blast!!

To be straight forward- there’s a lot to do in Orlando. Don’t waste your time and money here. We went here with our 6 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old and 3 month old. Check in was okay- the guy at the front desk was nice during check in. There are no elevators so the front desk guy was nice enough to give us a room on the lower level but it wasn’t for the pool view that we paid for. But the other side had someone who I guess was trying to sell us a timeshare. He was very very pushy and down right rude. Room and area smelled like sewer, the waterpark was freezing cold and there was not enough staff so only half the park was open. The front desk closes at 11pm so if you need anything after that, they say to call but no one answers and the phone in the room doesn’t work. You can hear next door so it was a lot of room noise and street noise. We needed our ice pack to be frozen for the flight (the 3 month old is on breastmilk) and the front desk was not at all helpful and truly didn’t care which is odd because most places either have a fridge with a small area for a freezer or they put the ice pack in the employee freezer for you to take onto the flight. Bathroom didn’t lock, the light switch is outside so if you are using the bathroom and someone accidentally switches the light, your in the dark. The only positive is that it’s walking distance from a lot of places but the area seemed sketchy. We won’t be returning here again.

Loved the fun and quality time for the kids. Plenty to do for younger ones. The room / park was clean. Staff was very friendly. Not one complaint. Carolina & Alex at the lobby counter were very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would come back.

I'm really glad that we chose Coco Key Resort for our stay in Orlando! Our room was clean and ready upon arrival. Check in was fast and easy. The pool and water parks were clean and accommodating to all ages. The staff was all very friendly and beyond helpful. I was concerned about my son being able to get out of the room and maintainence came and installed an extra lock higher on the door at my request. Truly exceptional at addressing my concern! Housekeeping came daily to tidy up and bring fresh linen. We attended the luau, also 5 stars! So much fun, the performers enjoyed what they were doing and engaged with guests.The meal was huge and delicious! It's in walking distance from Icon Park and am abundance of other activities. Will definitely be back in the future!

The breakfast was disgusting. I would not feed it to my kids let alone my dogs I found a diarrhea stain on my sheets when we got there had to move rooms at 12:30 at night with three kids toilet clogged in our room three times from a four year-old just using it normally Found at least four small roaches in the room whole place just felt dirty. The alarm was set to go off at 1230 at night so that woke up all the kids definitely not a good experience at all! On top of it I had to argue with staff just so my kid could use a slide at the water park we paid to use 1 star feels to high

The property is very outdated or at least the rooms, but if you are just going to sleep and enjoy the water park it is a cheap option.

Resort was so much fun. Food was sooo good! Service was great and the pool area was so clean and fun.

We were disappointed that a few of the kid area slides were not open, but your staff....especially your bartenders were wonderful and helpful :)

Great property for families even though we were just two adults staying one night. We arrived in the morning, and they offered to hold our luggage and also gave us wristbands for the pool while we waited for a room. Other than being an older hotel, the amenities seemed really good. Decent drinks by the pool ($18/drink) and great food at the bar. The bar staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home. The gluten free cauliflower pizza was fantastic! We didn't use the waterpark, but it looked fun!

We had a great time with our 6 year old. Staff was very friendly. Waterpark has different hours than the pool & hot tub.

Place is very outdated Room service sucked I called to ask for extra towel never got it.

Guest service was great. We had a serious problem with our booked room and not only did they apologize but they corrected it right away and upgraded our room for the remainder of our stay. The hotel is currently being renovated slowly so it does have an “outdated “ feel but welcoming too. Breakfast was a bit expensive but there was a variety of food. We had fun in the game room, we would have our children’s birthday party here, would be a blast for the young ones! Overall we probably would not stay again unless we were put into the apartment sized room.

The front office clerks are extremely unhelpful and rude in our details for our itinerary. It showed that we were already charged the resort fee and we were double charged and there’s also German roaches in the room and in the hallways

The resort and grounds were very nice. Lush landscaping, beautiful decor. Both pool areas are great! I really loved the deck of the water park and pool area, it’s a rubber type turf, it’s non slip but also nice on the feet.

Staff in the front desk charge me breakfast when I previously paid, He was lost, did not check it my reservation, in fact I was super disappointing. The only one thing that I love it was the breakfast and the water park.

The staff and amenities were great. The room on the other hand was not. I was located in the tower, on the top floor. As soon as you stepped out onto the floor, you were hit with the humidity and the smell of mildew. The room was the same. That was the only low point of our stay there.

Everything was good

The staff was over the top amazing. Anything we needed they helped with. Our car even needed a jump and multiple staff members helped us with our rental and got it up and running.

We thoroughly enjoyed our room and the basic amenities offered by the hotel. However, it was quite disappointing to our child on the day we had planned to spend at the resort, as not all the water slides were operational.

The rooms are dated but being worked on , the hot tub is so rough inside whatever they spackled it with is like hard rock I cut my foot the first 5 seconds I was inside

Housekeeping service was subpar at best. During our 4 day stay, I had to ask for towels twice for my family of 4. They were remodeling and we were clearly in a room that wasn’t remodeled, at the way back of the property. When we left, we were out of toilet paper, garbage over flowing, and the room had only been touched by housekeeping once.

Check out was the best part because Alex and Julissa were awesome. Would probably have paid for a more up to date resort and courteous staff.

Pretty good okace

Beautiful resort. Food choices were great. One bar tender in particular was AMAZING! EDGAR! Small world, he used to live close to us. His personality was amazing. He was funny. He was kind and all around Great guy.

The second we stepped in our room we immediate checked for the basics. We informed the front desk that the body wash was empty, the chain was off from the inside of the toilet but my husband decided to attach it himself. The morning we woke up, we informed the cleaning people outside of our room that there was no body wash. We get back later that evening and the room was never cleaned and still no body wash. We had no choice but to use the shampoo to wash with. We were there from Friday night to Monday morning without body wash and the room cleaned once. And the fact that it's free coffee in your room but have the nerve to charge over $6 for a bottle of water to use in their machine was diabolical.

The room was very clean and huge and loved that it was right next to the pool! The staff was very helpful with anything we needed also! Loved this place! Will definitely be going back!
