Great staff, any issues I had were addressed and were lovely enough to give me an extra hour after checkout time to stay in my room before leaving. My room was a connecting room so sadly could hear my neighbors pretty clearly and loud. Rooms are big, great for families.

Everything was great but hot tub was not in use which is one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Disappointed. Also two bus loads of school kids stayed the night. Honestly they were well behaved so no complaints there but we were put in a ground floor room right across from the breakfast area...we did not need an alarm to wake us! Would have been better for them to have placed us on another floor knowing that two huge groups would be staying there. Pool was nice. Breakfast was sparce but that could have been because it was already eaten by the students!

The staff was great, the room was clean, however the beds were very hard and the pillows were extra soft, not in a good way. The coffee machine was amazing, grinds the beans once you pick one of the 10 options, from Espresso, Vanilla Latte, Cappuccino, to a strong brew coffee. The coffee machine and hot free breakfast options would be enough for me to return. However the hard bed was uncomfortable, and I can sleep on anything. Location was good, off I Drive.

We had a great stay at this hotel during our trip to Orlando. The property was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What really made the experience exceptional was the staff, especially Sabrina. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service truly made a difference during our stay. Employees like Sabrina are a big reason why guests feel welcomed and want to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Nice place and great for the price. It is a hotel for large groups so breakfast and certain times can get busy. Still a very nice hotel and woeld come back again. Ceilings are low so not a hotel for really tall people

We had a three night stay at the City Express. Recently renovated with a bright modern look. Clean throughout the establishment. Large breakfast area with good standard breakfast included. Good location near International Drive.

Everything was so fast and easy, the only thing is I found a sock in the room. The cleanliness could’ve been a bit thorough but still everything was nice.

En plus de tout cela j'ai du commander une épicerie pour me faire à déjeuner convenablement à mes 2 enfants et moi. Les serveuses étaient tellement préoccupés par le ménage, quelle fermait l'accès au déjeuner avec les pancartes d'avertissement de plancher mouillé afin que les visiteurs ne puisse pas entrer dans l'air de restauration et ce à 11h am afin d'aller se chercher du café. Lumières fermés. Jai demandé si je pouvais avoir accès à un grille pain dans cette salle. Jai demandé a la réception et on m'a répondu que cela ne faisait pas partie des standards du Marriott. Jai dit ok mais vous ne respectez pas ce que vous m'avez vendu donc, donnez moi accès a un grille pain afin que je puisse déjeuner avant de partir faire des activités. Très déçu, toujours l'impression de dérange. En plus, lorsque jai fais livrer mon épicerie uber, le gérant a chialer et ma dit que je devais le faire livrer a ma chambre.Très désagréables comme atmosphère... Je n'étais pas la seule cliente dans cet état, plusieurs faisait leur épicerie du déjeuner. Ce n'est pas agréable quand on planifie une journée, surtout à Disney. On veut rentabiliser notre temps et argent. Jai du dépenser en plus pour des déjeuner supplémentaires.

Breakfast was absolutely underwhelming. It was borderline terrible. Some would say just get rid of it and serve only cereal.

Breakfast: Add some bacon or sausages to go with the western omelette would be perfect. 24/7 keurig coffee was a winner. Room: was perfect (microwave and refrigerator in room) Location: perfect Shuttle service: early yet perfect you get to park before crowds and leave before crowds. I did not use pool or hot tub. I will be back.

This hotel exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Kind, professional, and courteous staff was there to address all of my needs. Pool and dining facilities were excellent (although adding pancakes and waffles would compliment their complimentary breakfast tremendously). Maintenance issues I addressed with the front desk and the attendant make notes. Overall, a very good experience. I would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again. Close to the main parks (Island of Adventures, Universal studios, and Volcano Bay).

The property was nice buy small.

Cons are the carpeted floors don’t feel too clean (so I recommend bringing your own slippers) and wish there were more water dispensers as only one was found in the gym. I would also recommend calling ahead to ask about their breakfast option if you’re vegetarian/vegan. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay and would definitely go again!

The hotel is in a great location! The room was clean but smelled like mildew the whole time during our stay. The breakfast was the same for five days straight with no variety. That was definitely not be worth the uncharged. However, the staff were wonderful and very helpful!

This hotel is a hidden gem. The check-in process was quick and easy. The concierge was polite and gave us coupons for local restaurants and excursions. This hotel has quite a few free things: parking, hot breakfast, and shuttle service to and from Universal. The shuttle will not take you directly to Volcano Bay; you have to get on another shuttle once you reach the initial drop off point. There is quite a bit of walking involved but not too bad. The hotel also has a clean hot tub and clean swimming pool. The rooms were very clean. I have stayed in hotels that cost 2 and 3x more than this and the customer service and cleanliness did not match what City Express by Marriott had to offer! I did have an issue with the AC but since the maintenance staff was gone for the day they moved us to another room on the same floor. I highly recommend this hotel and will surely stay here again!

Misleading is their shuttle to Universal studios. To get to Epic Universe, you have to first take a bus or walk over to the Universal Endless summer resort to catch the shuttle to Epic Universe.

The food was great, the staff were kind and knowledgeable, the hotel it self was impeccable. I would stay again if I could afford it. The pool was nice but the water was cold and the hot tub was nice but too hot. Other than that it was a very nice stay. I would recommend this one 5 🌟 The location was perfect, close to everything .

I booked two rooms for one night through Expedia and paid in full when I made the booking. In the morning, I was emailed the folios for the rooms and noticed charges on them. I went to the front desk and the rep said that she could see that it was booked through Expedia and prepaid but the system charged me because the hotel didn’t receive any payment from Expedia. I asked her to reverse the charges. She said she couldn’t as only a supervisor could and no one was in. I had to leave to travel. I called after 9:00 am and was placed on hold for an extended period of time so I hung up. I contact Expedia customer service and they said they would contact the hotel and ask them to refund me. So now I wait for that to happen. I find this whole situation unacceptable. Stay elsewhere if you don’t want the hassle of wasting your time to get an issue like this rectify. Room and check in were ok. It’s a renovated property which is a positive. However their staff could provide better customer service.

Was a good place to stay for a week. Close to Universal and about 20 minutes from Disney. Clean and friendly. Only complaint is for their breakfast included... Not much to choose from and no rotation of food.

The elevators are pretty slow, it may feel like you're stuck but you're not. The breakfast was good and so was the coffee. The $100 deposit that was charged is still on hold 13 days later. So be aware of that.

Daniel at front desk is a Rockstar! He went above and beyond . He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He had me checked in quickly and carried on a friendly conversation while providing exceptional service . The coffee machine in the breakfast room is a real game changer for me ! Very slow elevators. Loud AC in the room, sounded like a loud window unit. Not enough options at breakfast. We expected some sausage or bacon. We also would’ve expected a waffle or pancake station where you could self make them. For bread they only had English muffins with no bagels or regular toast. For the money we spent we were not too happy with our stay. The pool is not heated, and the Jacuzzi was extremely small. For a Marriott we do not think this hotel needs the name brand at all.

Upon arrival, I discovered the hotel name had been changed with no advance notice. The lobby was in complete disarray because of maintenance work, there was no food service at all, and the vending machines didn’t accept cards. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The hotel has changed company names and was not the hotel we booked We booked this hotel based on reviews for the quality of the hotel for the price and the great included breakfast, the breakfast was terrible and when up at the counter there were 4 other guests saying how disappointed they were in booking this hotel due to this reason. I was just grabbing towels and decided not to pile on that train to complain as well We were on the first floor and at 7:30 the cleaning staff started their day and were incredibly loud both morning we were there. Room was nice, but all the other issues lead to this review next time we will stay on property at universal or Disney or stay at the Drury inn That’s what we get to ball on a budget

A false fire alarm went off twice at 11 p.m., sending everyone rushing down the stairs and out of the building, firefighters came twice, which was very unsettling. Breakfast was the only decent part of the stay. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Oh my was I in for it with this place. I have gotta say… I totally suck at picking . So they are doing an entire remodel. Loud, no lobby. Im not sure if I got a ‘deal’ for this construction going on during my stay - sure did not feel like it with the price. No hottub more like lukewarm tub. Just insane. Workers were nice. I stay for 3 nights total- book on Expedia 2 and have to add one and then check out and recheck in? As if I didnt being that up when I checked in once the first time. I dont know. Very musty feel to it? Maybe thats just Orlando? Idk what I do know is I honestly want my money back. My neck hurts from the beds and I was not impressed. My whole family is looking across the way at another hotel in awh. Bc they want to be out of here.

The room was very musty. The hotel itself is undergoing renovations. Our drawers kept popping out on their own so randomly the drawer in the nightstand would just open in the middle of the night. Not worth the 200 a night we paid. Seems to be a common theme in Orlando.

The room was great, but there was a lot of construction going on. They were changing the brand of the motel from Comfort Inn to Marriott. As a result, all the amenities that were listed in my booking were not available because of the construction.

When I arrived at the Comfort Inn, not only was the ENTIRE lobby under construction, only one elevator was working (some of the time). HUGE let down. Since it was a holiday week - I had NO choice but to stay at the hotel. I received no prior email from this hotel about the construction. There was dust everywhere and I ended up with a severe cough which is still persisting days after I checked out. I also booked a King Suite, which I did not get and still paid more for. I was placed in a basic King Room. I had family visiting from out of town and we needed the extra room for visiting. The downstairs lobby was again - under construction so we could not meet there. The hotel needs to be held responsible as we should be staying in a safe clean environment and not get sick - and the hotel should honor the room that I actually booked and not scam me out of paying extra for a room I did not get.

There were renovations taking place. However, the room was very clean. We only had a few food items at breakfast so the rating may not be complete. I would stay again once renovations are complete. Staff was wonderful.

Everything was great. Only 2 things kinda irritated me. They ran out of syrup for the waffles one morning and i bought an overpriced cup of ramon another night to be told after purchase, i had to pay for hot water to make them for my daughter.

A/C was malfuctioning , i call for some towels and my wife had to go and get them by instruction of front desk , we also called for an iron trade off cuz the one in the room did not work , it never arrived.

Excellent, check in was really efficient, and since I had used the Expedia app, it was pre paid. I lost my parking permit at 2 am leaving Halloween horror nights and Mr Cesar in the nicest way possible helped me out. I was so happy I didn’t have to justify me losing that ticket, I am extremely happy how the whole thing was handled because I was exhausted and all I wanted to do is go to my room and get some sleep.

No tenian estacion de tostadora de panes ni de waffle maker por lo que el desayuno era huevo y cereal; en mi caso no consumo huevo por lo que perdi mi dinero de desayuno.

The ac was kind of struggling and the room felt really damp. Also they gym was gone to make room for the breakfast arra instead and this was not in the booking information so.it was a little annoying and disappointing. I'd rather work out thang get fat on hotel waffles.

Clean room, but outdated. No built-in USB plugs, an older wall AC unit, still giving out single use bar soaps and shampoo/conditioner bottles instead of in-shower dispensers, body wash, etc. Just felt generally less modern than most hotels I've stayed at recently. All-around good stay though!

The service was pretty nice. However the Air Conditioning did had a peculiar scent. I think the AC Filters might need changing. But overall experience was okay.

The free breakfast is an awful version of grab and go. The rooms are ok but no in room safe. The staff however are excellent.

Estuvo buena la estancia, lo único que en información dice “desayuno buffet” cuando no es asi, el desayuno es un “desayuno continental”. Además había remodelación y no nos informaron que quizás por eso era que no había el desayuno buffet. Estuvimos quedándonos 3 noches y 4 días, los mismo 4 días dieron el mismo desayuno.

Had a very good stay. Room was clean and spacious. We had a pool view which was a plus. The pool was a bit dirty in the bottom. But loved the Hot Jacuzzi. The breakfast was basic only had it once. The staff should work a bit more on customer service bc they didn't know what to recommend. Its very centered the hotel just a few mins from all the parks and walking distance to fast foods and walgreens. Overall good stay would stay again.

Cleaners were amazing and the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. Front desk was attentive and we watched as they successfully caught and removed a suspicious person trying to gain access to the property. Pool and hot tub were great as well. Walkable to International Dr and very inexpensive to get to the theme parks. Theme park shuttle also provided daily.

We stayed here as a family of 3 with a 4 year old. Hotel was standard, the elevators were ‘undergoing a make over’ but we never saw any work being undertaken on our visit. The breakfast was OK, toast, cereal, sausages, scrambled egg, yogurts & waffle maker & coffee. The area is very small if you want to sit inside. Rooms were cleaned, beds not changed daily but towels were. The sink took ages to drain down, the shower curtains should really be a screen as the amount of water that gets in the floor from the corner of the shower is dangerously slippery if unseen. Parking is free but a few night we struggled to park our car it’s was rammed. There is a shuttle I think around 8am to universal it’s a small bus be sure to get outside early if you wish for a seat. Close to theme parks, and restaurants, around the corner is the world’s Largest McDonald’s. We headed to the supermarket to get some bottled water the fridge was amazing, ice cold! Overall a good stay for what we wanted.

This was our 3rd time in this hotel and we are still very satisfied. Very clean, quiet and the staff is very friendly and pleasant. Very convient to Universal Studios, shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend it!

Buen hotel a buen precio, puedes entrar una hora antes a los parques y tienen autobuses que te llevan entre los parques durante todo el día, muy conveniente si no quieres manejar, a mis hijos le gusto mucho el area de las albercas, lo único que no me gustó fue las largas filas para hacer el check in, fuera de eso si lo recomiendo y si regresaría

I liked the comfortable beds and the quiet atmosphere. I was not impressed by the limited food on the buffet and the texture of the sausage and eggs. I did not like that the free shuttle only picked up at 6 pm, several hours before the parks closed! I had to use Uber to go back to the hotel.

The hotel’s convenient location near the Universal Parks made getting around easy with Uber or Lyft. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to the presence of bugs and poor soundproofing — you could clearly hear noise from outside the room. Additionally, the room key would occasionally stop working, requiring a trip to the front desk for reactivation.

Nice staff but construction going on

The stay was perfect and comfortable. I think the breakfast could be more variety.

The mattresses were old enough to feel the springs, and to my surprise, there was no mattress protector—only a sheet directly on top, which raised concerns about cleanliness and comfort. The shuttle service to the amusement park was highly misleading and poorly managed. Not only was there just one return time—which significantly cuts into the time guests can spend at the park—but the shuttle itself was only a small van. On the first day, there was not enough room, and we had to wait for the next one, which made us late entering the park despite having paid a high price for tickets. On the second day, the shuttle was overcrowded to the point of being unsafe and, frankly, not legal. This was a serious safety concern. Overall, these issues made my stay very disappointing!

Everyone at the property is lovely. It’s not a perfectly clean hotel but it isn’t filthy. The free breakfast is great.

also note that they had a counter offer universal parks tickets, the lady offered me to a free volcano bay when purchase 2 days at Universial Studio and Island of Advanture, in and out parks tickets, not too bad, but i didn't have time to the water park and planned to go Epic which they didn't offer, otherwise it was a good deal. As i travelled there last week of summer, there wasn't much line up at the parks in general, only line up at 1-2 biggest ride, so i was able to finish all parks before 6pm (while entering at 10am), so shuttle should be an option i should take (note, shuttle doesn't cover Epic). hope my reviews help.

It was a good stay until someone broke into our vehicle and stole our stuff. Make sure to be aware of your surroundings and don’t leave anything in your car.

Nice property would come again

The air conditioning unit makes a lot of noise. Vending machine on the 3rd floor was broken. The daily breakfast was the same every day, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt, mini muffins and a apple. The room keys did not work every day. Cleaning staff would remove dirty towels but didn't replace them causing me to go to the office. Over all good exerience. The guy in the lobby trying to get you to go on the timeshare tours is annoying.

The lobby was outdated, stains on ceiling and walls. The key card was difficult to use to get in and out of the doors. There were people who were not patrons just hanging out in front of the hotel at night that looked creepy. The ice maker is on the 3,4,and 5th floor which is inconvenient located on the first floor. The walls were thin you can hear every foot step above you and in the hallways. It made it very hard to sleep with small pillows and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Wifi was spotty and difficult to connect devices. The ac was loud and i couldnt cut it off because the room would heat up immediately. Breakfast was extremely unorganized, not many choices to choose from. The cost did not fit my experience. Paying over $ 100 for this was overpriced.

My stay was ok. I was disappointed with the weird smell in the room. There were long hairs in towels. Kids were loud on my floor in which was annoying. Overall, it was just ok.

The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were NOT comfortable (square, not rectangle?? & not soft), the bathroom was fine, and the a/c unit worked well (important in Florida in the summer). Overall, it was fine.

Everything was fine except for the attention at the reception desk from the lady named Carmen, who really kicked us out. Her attitude was despotic and bad-tempered. If she doesn't want to work with the public and be courteous, it's better not to be there. Everything else was fine.

Moldy smell in the room and bathroom. Air-conditioning didnt work correctly. Construction on our floor and were not told about it. The walls are paper thin. Had to listen to children playing all night. Will never stay there again

For the most part, our stay was nice but their brand new little store in the lobby was double the prices than anywhere else (I saw a lot of folks look but not buy anything like us) and the staff behind the front desk were rude/laughed at my parent behind their back because of the way they talked when they tried asking a question. Other than that, it was in perfect location and pretty clean. Breakfast was good, at least the waffles and sausage. The eggs(so-so).

The hotel is in need of serious renovation. The carpets are all loose and lumpy making it hard to roll my luggage down the hallways. The walls were dirty and the paint was coming off. The bathroom door in my room did not fully close. The pool was full of leaves and other debris. People were allowed to smoke in the pool area which was awful. There were no towels available at the pool and I had to go ask staff to bring some out. The hot tub was a nice temperature but an employee informed me that the jets were currently not working. The free hot breakfast was fairly decent. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I had a great experience during my stay at the Comfort Inn. From the moment I arrived, I noticed how clean and well-kept everything was. The room was spotless, comfortable, and felt just like home. The professionalism of the staff really stood out. Everyone I encountered was courteous, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s clear that customer service is a priority here. One of the highlights of my stay was the continental breakfast. It was fresh, well-stocked, and offered a good variety. The dining area was clean and inviting, which made starting the day even better. Overall, I’m very pleased with my stay and would definitely return. Comfort Inn lived up to its name—comfortable, clean, and welcoming.

NEED to redo all carpeting to avoid the smell in the hallways, slightly better in the rooms but humidity odor is strong.
