German roaches, Leaking AC, $50 for a shot of fireball and 2 well Vodkas, Won’t be returning. The only good thing about this place is their restaurant. Food was great.

Wonderful! Clean and fun, and not very expensive. A "poor man's" resort. The.pool, sand pit and sand volleyball court and shuffleboard courts were VERY clean and family-friendly.

The pool area and the lobby were the nicest things about the property. The beds were terrible and the rooms seemed to be in need of repair, paint, and other things. It was a dry place. We overpaid at $100 a night. We looked and could have booked a room for $38 a night upon arrival. Police was at the hotel at least once while we were there. It really seemed like a very low cost budget hotel. Gets the job done, but nothing else.

No frills for sure but not the worst but they did have the worst soap I’ve ever been provided at a hotel or resort.

Undecided if we would stay there again. Great location, lots of places to eat and things to do nearby. Seemed fairly safe.

We rented two rooms. One in Building 2 and the other in Building 3. Concerns included: 1) Long black hair in "made" bed linens upon arrival; 2) sewage smell when using shower and toilet 3) multiple requests for cleaning and restocking room never heeded; 4) slow sink drain; 5) slow toilet flushing; 6) A/C would never cool the room adequately; 7) elevator went out (floor 4); 7) window blind hanging crooked when we arrived and fell when we tried to raise it; 8) coffee pot broken; 9) telephone wouldn't work when trying to call front desk to report problems; 10) Long walk with luggage from office lobby to building 3. NOTE: towels were promptly delivered to room when asked for at front desk. Replacement coffee pot was delivered within an hour when requested by calling front desk from my cell phone.

We stayed as a couple and had a full itinerary so we did not spend a lot of time other than sleeping. But the room was clean and had everything we needed. The TV had the important channels which was nice to us since we didn't spend time channel surfing and there was plenty of storage space around.

It was close to the Orlando convention center. The room was not cleaned after the previous customers. There was a new clothing tag laying on the bed, a cough drop wrapper on the floor next to the fridge, the bathroom trash can was still filled with trash, and there was mold in the grout lines of the tub and the bathroom fan. ALSO let’s not forget the stench of urine in the bathroom as if the room hasn’t been mopped up at all!

Sink had poor drainage, as well as tub. Although there are blinds there are no curtains and a lot of the lighting still gets into room at night.

Down side: The floor was sticky; the room had dirt, and bedsheets were meh (I had sand on my bed, and dirt on the floor in bathroom). If you have sore back or neck, the bed is junk! Mattress was lumpy and I used my pillows as the mattress. The neighborhood is loud! Can hear screaming from attractions close by, lots of car revving engines, and the neighbors can be heard into the night... use your imagination. All in all, it was fine. It was a bed, place near by with food and off the main road. Don't expect luxury. Not going there again, but would if I got a better discount.

Location to Convention Center . Value and the size of the room was great. Rooms in the very back near I4 were ok. Being an older hotel, We could see the renovations done to the room. Just the quality was not there. Cleanness was good in the room. Outside halls, stairwells and the elevator areas could use more attention.

The location in Orlando was very nice, great distance from Universal. For it's value, it's very comfortable and a good place to stay in. The staff was friendly too. The elevator in our building broke during our 2nd day and didn't get fixed until about the 4th day. The payment pad for the laundry soap dispenser in our building's laundry room wasn't working at all, had to go to another building to do laundry, and the shower/tub was too small for two people to fit in.

The staff were pleasant and helpful and made some good recommendations for dining. The location is great if you're staying in town for a convention as it's a short drive to the OCCC. Walking distance to Icon Park and a few other locations too. The rooms felt empty on the inside and somewhat dated. The bathroom tiles you can tell had been painted over and over and over as there was some paint chipping off and rust/mold stains that they just painted over, which gave it a dirty feel. Most of the clean towels had some brownish stains on them. The down-alternative pillows were very lumpy, the mattress was fairly thin so it sat closer to the floor, and my particular room was off the hallway and the ice machine kept giving off an almost "bass-like" noise so I thought someone was playing loud music all night long. Also, there's a helicopter tour business a few blocks south so you hear helicopters CONSTANTLY flying by.

Pool Checked in the key fob wasn’t working had to walk all the way back ti the lobby for them to put me in a different room bc the battery wasn’t working. Fridge in the new room was making weird noise kept me up the entire 1st night, thought it was coming from next door. They didn’t service my room the first day.

Location was good, front desk tried to fix the issues Room had spider webs behind the door, when front desk sent someone to clean the spider webs were still there. Hair from the previous guest was still in the bathroom and on the walls. The bed is very uncomfortable and the room was hot when trying to sleep.

I stayed there once I don’t think I need to go back there, but I would recommend because it’s right in the middle of I DRIVE, Rooms were clean, the shower was ok - There is a microwave in a fridge, the beds were fine. The pillows were great. The TV worked.

But they close so you cant sit and enjoy the weather Tiny rooms, broken dryers, needs to be throughly cleaned, mattress worn out and uncomfortable, no where to sit around the property, property is not up to date like the pictures display, overall uncomfortable and nothing to do

I enjoyed the location and the swimming pool. The cleanliness of the rooms were severely lacking especially in the bathroom. The floors needed to be swept, the ac was held up by a piece of wood, and I had to tour 4 rooms before finding one that was at least doable.

When I arrived, I was assigned a room where the sofa bed mattress was stained with menstrual blood. Furthermore, they provided neither sheets, pillows, nor blankets to set up the sofa for sleeping. I went to complain, and they gave me a key to a different room; when I entered, there was a strong, foul odor—so bad that I had to lower the air conditioning to 50 degrees just to air the place out. Later, I went into the bathroom and saw a worm crawling around that was the size of my index finger. Obviously, I killed it, but I had to stay in that room anyway because my family was exhausted. I stayed there for four days, and no one ever came to clean the room or bring fresh towels. When I went to the pool to get towels, there weren't any there either. I didn't even want to eat there; I preferred to spend the entire time out with my family. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food that was available onsite was not great, I would go outside for food. The pool was nice. The bed was so uncomfortable. There was also a humidifier that we couldn't turn off that was pretty loud. Overall it was ok.

The staff members are very friendly. The location is on International Drive and close to many restaurants.

The rollaway had to be changed. Could not sleep on it . When we took the sheets off the mattress was yellow. Definitely not Resort material. One person to check people in. TV Remote did not work. Etc .

the room was in need of a lot of updates. i had a hard time opening the bathroom door, it would stick on the bottom. the caulk around the tub was dirty and falling apart. the tub had some chipped paint in the bottom. not enough parking.

My 3 room is not clean all, the bathrooms smell cockroach. The floor dirty and hairs, in one room the refrigerator and microwave not working , my stay in this place is not good…

Honestly it wasn’t bad at all. Me and my boyfriend stood for 6 days at this hotel in building 3. There are multiple buildings but here are pros and the cons Pros: - lots of space -heated pool - bar/ grill affordable - accessible towels - parking EVERYWHERE - shortcuts throughout the area to get out faster - convenient locations next to everything - cleaning service comes on the 4th day of stay unless requested otherwise Cons: - tv doesn’t have apps so only channels - ac in the room needed to stay on so it got cold - bathrooms were good just ceiling over the shower looked a little wonky ( no mold though) - there was a small stain on the bedsheets upon arrival. Looked like the tried washing out fruit punch from the sheets - laundry machine was not working in any of the buildings.

The location was good, close to attractions and lots of restaurants The property was dated, needs some updating, pictures online are deceiving, not a “resort” to me very minimal amenities to be considered a resort. The bed was not comfortable, and while most of the room was clean, the age of the place makes the rooms and outside of the buildings looks and feels old.

I would come back. Pool is open until 11pm which is helpful if you have children.

Every time we travel to Orlando we stay here. It's clean, convenient, and the staff is always nice. It's located next to everything within walking distance that we like to do. Definitely worth the money. Book it! You won't regret it.

Stayed for two nights, A/c unit was not working for first 3 hrs, had to switch rooms, bathroom exhaust fan was so loud you couldnt hear yourself think, both days and nights there wasnt a single pool towel in sight! Hot tub was so packed u couldnt even get a chance at it. No bartender half the time, housekeeping never once asked if we needed anything, phones didnt work in room, blankets and sheets were like the cheapest thinest oldest material you could use. The ac return was sooo dirty there was like thick fur covering it! Matresses were super low to the ground and hard as can be. And they charge a resort fee for all this! Definitely not one ounce of this stay was worthy of calling this a “resort”, more like a budget super 8.

The word resort is used loosely. It is a motel with a pool, small hot tub, overpriced bar and rude staff who do the bare minimum. The gap between your door and outside is large enough that it doesn't feel secure. Would not recommend.

The room was clean and updated. The pool was really nice. Location was convenient and close to many restaurants annd shopping. Really close to the parks. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean this is the first time that I have slept in a resort bed was that comfortable like that if I ever go back I will definitely stay there again. The only thing the bathroom was very small and needed to be renovated.

Location to the Universal parks It felt very cheap. We didn’t have a tub and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because the shower rod was too loose. The towel bar fell and looked as though it had fallen before. The property sends out text messages about quite hours but we had people outside our room on the first floor being slamming doors and screaming at each other until 2 in the morning and two nights later someone else playing their car radio until midnight. It wasn’t a great experience especially with little ones. We also checked in late and house keeping was gone so we couldn’t get a crib until the next day even though you have to put ages on your booking we were not accommodated

On international drive, so great for restaurants and bars Free parking was a great bargain Only having room serviced every 4 days (says 3 on paperwork). Although we were only there for 3 nights. So didn’t run out of anything except cups.

The Hotel was fine, staff very friendly. But the bus service to Disney was terrible, to the point the bus has to stop in the middle of the road and put oil in !!!! Bus service to Disney, it was terrible. Never on-time buses were such poor quality and putting peoples lives at risk.

If you are looking for a cheap stay, this would suffice. I came for a conference and booked late where this was one of few options left. I'd stay further away and spend extra money on ride shares before booking this again.

Great hotel I stayed here at Avanti international resort for a week after disembarking Disney cruise. This hotel is near attractions and plenty of activities to do like fitness center and swimming.

Breakfast was good. What I liked about staying on property was all the restaurants and gift shops

The room smelt like stale cigarettes. You can tell it was recently renovated but possibly by crack heads. The AC leaked all over our shoes, the shower tiles were falling in and there was a dehumidifier under the sink on a painted piece of plywood. The pool was okay but there was sand in every part of it. We couldnt let our son play in the sand around the pool because there were cigarette butts, broken beer bottles and trash everywhere.

Outdoor pool was nice.Food was good but expensive. Rooms could be clean but not horrific. There was a staff person or someone working on a room on the second floor and threw down a box from the second floor to the ground and almost hit our car but worse could have hit someone else. Good amenities, however the room that I received wasn’t the best. As soon as I entered the room I felt like I wasn’t getting what I saw in the pictures of the booking. In the pictures the room looks well kept up and clean but as soon as I entered the room you could see that the room was run down. The worst part for me was the bathroom, as soon as you open the door the first thing that I saw was how dirty and old the tub looked. There was rust all around the drain and not to mention the drain stopper was lose and just left inside the tub. Other then that staff was helpful and I constantly saw security driving around at night.

Complimentary buses available from the hotel which take you to the Universal parks. Disney buses also available on request. One of the best swimming pools on I drive. Rooms are only cleaned every 4 days which has changed from the last time we visited.

I would have given a 5 out of 5 but we had an issue ordering something to eat from the cafe there other than that everything else was good.

We also had issues with the toilet from the beginning because it would not flush properly. On top of that, someone knocked on our door at 7:00 AM asking for maintenance without any prior call or notice from the front desk, which was very disruptive. I was informed there would be some type of compensation due to the toilet issue, but when I spoke with the manager on duty, I was only told that the only option available was changing rooms. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

For last minute, it was a good place to stay for a night.

Reading the other reviews I was apprehensive in staying here…I’m glad I took a chance. Staff was great, room was nice…wasn’t dirty. Property and pool very nice.

Great location, nice perks for theme park visitors. If you only want to visit the parks and save some money on rental vehicles, you can request a shuttle bus for Universal parks with a concierge or use an app for Florida Bus Service (Disney route shuttle). Lots of gift shops, restaurants and entertainment at a few minutes (walking distance), including Icon Park. Microwaves have been removed from the rooms since my last stay in 2023. Housekeeping protocols have also changed to be performed 4 days after arrival unless requested otherwise, and it needs to be asked for 24 hours in advance.

Your location is great and I love your pool. The first night I arrived, the elevator was out of service and my room was located on the 4th floor. Security apologized and informed us we would have to take the stairs because they were unable to change our room. Unfortunately, no assistance was offered to help carry our luggage upstairs, which was very disappointing. The next morning, I attempted to get the complimentary breakfast. At first, I went to the wrong location, but the front desk directed me to the correct area. However, once I arrived, the lady and gentleman working there informed me that I needed to go back and get a voucher in order to eat. At that point, we decided to leave and purchase breakfast elsewhere. Overall, I did not appreciate how the situation was handled, and the experience made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. I felt unwelcome, and that is not something any guest should experience during their stay.

It was located right in the middle of everything. Didnt have to drive anywhere.

The hot tub was not hot at all and there were no pool towels on Saturday night or Sunday morning. The fish tacos were awful, but the pizza was good. Long line in the café and not very helpful staff on ordering or picking up food.

Enjoyed our stay. Was a lot of people. When we arrived took a long time to check in. When we were at the pool, was swimming and because of so many people when we got out someone had taken our towels off the chairs and took the chairs. Next morning there were no available chairs at the pool to get. Everyone was gone by 7:00 am and hardly any people was there

Very noisy on the ground level. They use leaf blowers to clean out rooms I think as well and that starts roughly around 9. Property looks deceiving from the street but trust me it is absolutely redone and severely updated. Bartender Jeff on nights made the stay from good to amazing. Check in was great and quick and lobby very clean. The rooms was great and huge, the only thing that was the best was the housekeeping. The reason for that is they don't do room service everyday, which is fine but they should at least have housekeeping go by and check for at least the garbage needs to be taken out or if we need more coffee for the coffee maker and more coffe cups. Other than that I was very very pleased with this hotel/resort and would definitely stay there again. Also everything you would need or want is in walking distance, food pharmacy mall everything.

Room’s filthy, cops were called 4 times yesterday 4 times during our stay for fights on property, my child was so scared to stay after what she had seen at the pool area blood on the walls bottles thrown fighting, no refund given nothing.

Hotel is a little older and outdated, but nice big rooms. Pool is big and a fun scene but can get very crowded and loud.

I stayed three days. Never got hot water in my room. Maintenance never came back first day. Go to desk again. They give me a key to another room. Next day at the desk. Still no hot water. Ok we will move you to another room but you have to move your stuff yourself. The new room was 2 floors higher and as far down the balconies as possible. I just stayed in my room w no water. Room was clean when we arrived but had to request a cleaning 3-4 times before someone actually came and took care of our room, security is poor people being loud all hours of the night pool was not cleaned once the whole time we stayed over 12 days over all not terrible for the price but I’ll never go back.

Charged me ninety dollars on my card to check in, including a large resort fee they waived for another customer and not me. My friend also told me their Starbucks was not actually Starbucks and tasted terrible and they had to throw it out. You can't reach them on the phone and they didn't reply after hours waiting to the text they told me to message them at. They also "upgraded" my room to have a Jacuzzi, but the upgrade was a room next to the pool which was incredibly loud and didn't have the couch or sitting area so kind of a wash. Comfortable bed and convenient location though and the staff was nice.

Didn't get to enjoy the pool due to the colder weather at the time. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms could have been a bit cleaner though.

The AC was leaking water and the shower didnt even have a shower curtain. The bed and pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked them to be as well.

This hotel was nice and clean, and what I enjoyed the most was that it’s kid friendly. Not to mention, the location is perfect.

The shower floor drain was clogged up and I call for maintenance and he came and fixed it but didn’t clean up the mess he made. I had the worst experience ever in the room. The rooms weren’t as pictured. It was outdated and was just a motel. Bathroom was pretty dirty behind the door. The key didn’t work and had yo wait for that to have a battery change. That was after 11:00 PM and I was told I had to wait outside the room on a chilly night until the maintenance man got there to fix it. The shades were old and dirty.

Rooms were clean and good beds. Pool was very nice environment for families. We are Disney pass holders and decided to stay here for the weekend last minute. I was very satisfied with the location and the staff. Nicole was awesome at check in… she deserves a raise and a promotion!!!

The rooms, however, were a completely different story. Our room felt damp, dark, and musty. The bedding actually felt wet, which made me think the humidity setting was way too high. The cleaning was below par — we had literal tumbleweeds of hair in the room, the couch was dirty and what appeared to be old blood splatter marks on the shower walls. Not a crime scene or anything dramatic — just clearly not wiped down properly. The AC was essentially useless with the room layout. Thankfully the weather was cool, so cracking the window open (it only allows 2–3 inches) cooled the room more effectively than the unit did. To be fair, it was just me and my 9-year-old son, and we were only there for two nights. We checked in late and I’m not the type to spend precious time complaining at a front desk. Time with my kid matters more. In the end, I ate the cost of the second night and booked next door. It was a little more expensive, but absolutely worth it for a clean, comfortable room. Bottom line: Great facilities. Very disappointing room experience.

Upon arrival, I had to call someone to check us in. Then we received our keys, which did not work. We received new keys, which did not work. They had to changed the batteries

The room was clean and in good condition, but it was extremely plain. The office chair was hard wood instead of cushioned and wasn't very cozy. The noise level from the road was quite high. It is well situated on the tourist strip with shops and restaurants nearby but because of the noise I would not stay here again.

The room AC was not working properly and the temperature was very hot, making it impossible to sleep. We called the front desk several times, but no one answered. The room was also not clean. I chose this hotel because the website indicated that EV charging was available, but there was only one charger. I am giving two stars because the customer service at the pool bar and café was excellent.

This was a pleasant surprise. I booked it a few minutes before checking in due to the Raising Canes in the parking lot. The lobby was pretty crowded and chaotic when I checked in. I had to wait about 10 minutes while two frustrated looking women employees were unhappily dealing with other guests. A lady, named Liz I think, came and took me to check it. She was very friendly. We had a first floor room so pulling the car right up to it was great. The pool, hot tub, and pool bar were great. We could not find an ice machine anywhere. I asked an employee and I don’t think he understood English, he just polite me to Starbucks. Rooms were clean and well stocked.

We had an excellent stay at Avanti! The location on I-Drive is perfect, we were within walking distance to so many great restaurants and attractions. The pool area is huge and very well-maintained, which the kids absolutely loved. The room was clean, modern, and offered plenty of space for us to relax after a long day at the parks. Great value for the heart of Orlando

The road was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom looked like a crack, hotel with litter in the corners even lots of blood on a baseboard just very dirty not what I was expecting from the pictures. Bathroom was the worst the whole hotel smelt like marijuana.

What really lets this hotel down is their free shuttle service to the parks. The bus to Epcot left at 11:45am, half the day wasted so we had to spend the money for an Uber. We waited almost 30 minutes the next morning to get to the parks, plus it took an hour on the shuttle to actually get to Magic Kingdom; we didn’t get there until 11am, so a morning wasted. That night, the Monorail at Magic Kingdom was shut down and all guests were stranded waiting for one boat to the Transportation Center. Everyone was delayed, not just us. I called the shuttle hotline and explained the situation and if they wouldn’t mind waiting a few more minutes, but they told me the shuttle wouldn’t wait and hung up on me! More money spent on an Uber to get back to the hotel. Also the guest information sheet about the shuttle had incorrect information. The website to reserve your slot was incorrect and the times were incorrect. I had to do some online searching to discover the correct website to reserve and discovered the correct times.

Staff was very courteous!!! The bottom of by feet were black from walking barefoot in the room. Window so dirty. We were in 1234, every couple minutes you could hear water running.

Let me start with the good the location is great close to everything I love that I could literally walk two mins and I was that the rasing canes however for the room the floor seem to be clean but it was very sticky also the bathroom was really dirty I was scared to take a shower I went to the receptionist where the manager was there and he did give me a different room it was ok but the bed was really itching my skin I don’t think they change the top cover of the bed after every person it a place to take a shower and leave it not the ideal place if your looking to be comfortable and atleast stay in for a day

Hotel is nice for the price. Only thing is that need to update the TV system, not WiFi connect , no Netflix or any other App connected to the TV. Just live tv.

Affordable, clean, and the location is great !

Room was basic and comfortable, air conditioning worked great. Mini fridge and microwave and television were great to have. The bathroom had some cleanliness opportunities and the shower leaked all over the floor each time it was used. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent (some days bed was made, others not, sometimes new floor towel provided others not). Parking was easy and the location was central to our needs (conventions, dining, theme parks).

Totally unsafe surroundings, no security, drug use witnessed in common areas, same people hanging out near and in lobby, me and my girlfriend went out for dinner and drinks, while gone our room was entered, car key, debit card, credit card, and a few small things taken, the car key was used to access m vehicle where two pairs of Nike were stolen.

The rooms were filthy they had mold and were super dirty in the bathroom the hotel should be ashame of there staff im so embarrassed for recommending this place to family and friends.

They need more staff. Never had an towels at pool side had to ask multiple times and still never received them. This happened multiple days. Bar staff said it wasn't their job to follow up on towels. Had to wait at the bar long periods of time to get served. Waited almost 30 minutes one day to get a cup of coffee from the bar and I note it was NOT busy. Only had one person in front of me.

It's a two star resort trying to be a four star resort. Curtains in the room would be very beneficial to block the light. Put a door in the shower so i don't have to worry abort slipping on the floor. Add a bigger rack so i can put more than just the soap. The mattress was very very uncomfortable

Booked via Expedia. The day we left our stay the staff charged an additional $106 because they “forgot” to charge it on the additional transaction.

Very disappointed paid resort fees of 118.00,but for what. Per stated room and sheets would be changed every 4th day to new sheets, but werent during our 8 nights. The smoke alarm was hanging by wires. Told the person on duty,but was never fixed. The staff was friendly, but when asked about shuttle for Disney world was told they only do Universal studios. The heat didn't work first night,but was fixed the following day. Very noisy on 4th floor at end. Housekeeper tried coming in on last day at 900am.

The dehumidifier in the room was constantly leaking and leaving puddles on the floor. Twice when we got home to our hotel there was a smell of marijuana in the room and we do not smoke. It was a very potent smell and bothered us. The room was somewhat clean but not very. Some towels had stains on them and and there were orange stains on the walls. The counter that was above the dehumidifier really heated up so much that it melted the handle on my Razor. We were told we were told we could not turn it off. The air in the room was always musty despite the dehumidifier. The area around the hotel was dirty and did not appear attended to. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

We where staying with a big group of friends and the room wasnt very much clean, some of the towels had hair in them so we requested new ones. Some of my friends that was in the other rooms when head out they were sure that the door was locked but when whe came back the door was wide open and no housekeeping around. They reported it and they said that we left the door open but we made sure it was closed. The next day the same thing happened, and in the evening they notice that the door was locked from the inside, we though that there was someone inside. The staff was saying that it was the groups fault for shutting the door to hard, but actually they took videos of shutting the door really hard and in no way shutting it from inside was possible. Service was bad, not clean.

We originally booked a room with a king bed and sofa bed. It was 5pm when we checked in and the room wasn’t ready so we took 2 queens, Which wasn’t a big deal. Going to the room we were met by maintenance who was there to fix a towel rack that was broken. When we entered both garbage cans were in the middle of the room and the bedside table was crooked. The maintenance man did offer to put those in the correct places though haha. It was very dusty above the headboards but other than that I loved that we had plenty of towels since there were 3 of us. The beds were good. Pool area was nice and had more towels. Hot tub wasn’t very hot but nice since it was only 70 degrees. Didn’t order from the bar/grill but looked nice. The property could use some upgrades it looked kinda trashy in the stairwells. but the reason we stayed was the location which was excellent! Staff at front desk was very kind at check in/out. They offer transport to parks for free but we didn’t use them since we had a vehicle. Overall good. Would stay again because the price was very reasonable for the area and we enjoyed our weekend!

They advertised coffee at 7am but at 7am they said it will take us 30 minutes to get it set up. At 7:32 still not even working on getting it set up but the real issue was my husband being in a wheelchair and on the 2nd floor and the elevator didn't work when we were leaving. They said "someone would be out to fix it sometime today. I did ask for a more handicap accessible room at check in. Thankfully my husband had crutches as well and had to hop down the two sets of stairs as he is non weight bearing on one leg for six weeks. We didn't ask for much, just what was advertised. Coffee and a working elevator would have been nice. Also the sink was completely plugged and we could not get the drain out.

On arrival the floor was so dirty we asked at reception (who were very dismissive) to have the floor cleaned. I don’t think housekeeping carries a mop and bucket which explains a lot. There were hairs on the floor, the toilet was dirty from the previous occupants. This situation didn’t really improve. The fridge kept freezing its contents, so much so a Coke exploded during the night. The air con, dehumidifier and bathroom fan meant the room felt like a circus at times, not very restful at all. On a plus note, the bed was comfortable

The room that was given to me was disgusting to say the least. As soon as I opened the door to the room, I was greeted by an unmade bed with sheets on the floor and the mattress exposed. I walked around the room baffled by what I had just witnessed only to find the bathroom dirty. The trash can was thrown on the floor with trash scattered all over the floor. I proceeded to attempt to contact the front desk and make them aware of the condition of my room only to find out the phone in the room didn’t work either. Once I walked over to the front desk I was ignored and skipped by other customers who apparently did not need to make a line like the rest of us. After about 15 minutes I was finally able to speak to someone and demanded to speak to a manager, showed them the picture I took of the room I was given, I was told there was nothing that can be done.. I requested a refund immediately. I’m still waiting for that. I will never ever book a room in this hotel again. This was completely unacceptable.

If you had actually shown what the building's facade looks like, I wouldn't have booked with you. The rooms look good in the photos, but the beds are uncomfortable, the mattresses sag, and the room smells musty. Oh, and the air conditioner sounds like it has something rattling around inside (room 3207).

The beds were literally the worst I’ve ever slept in. I slept better that one night in college I spent a night in jail.

The bathroom presented as clean but wasn’t actually clean. There were stands of hair on the toilet and in the shower. There was also a drainage problem with the shower. Because the phone didn’t work I had to drive to the front desk to tell the agent what was going on. Instead of offering a new room she sent maintenance who arrived after 10pm. It took awhile for the guy to finish because he had to leave to go get another tool. He was able to fix the drain but the shower floor was left dirty. Couldn’t call the front desk to complain because like I said before the phone didn’t work

First and foremost, I must express my admiration for the location. Our stay was satisfactory. The hotel appears to be a bit older but has undergone recent renovations, which is perfectly acceptable. However, the water heater in our room was exceptionally loud, making it difficult for us to get a good night’s sleep. The ladies at check-in were not particularly pleasant, but the morning staff quickly redeemed themselves with their exceptional kindness and hospitality.

Room was dirty bathtub had what looked like shaved hair in the tub. No towels in the room. Booked 3 rooms total and will never book again at this location.

AC didn’t work, the floors were dirty! My overall problem was bed bugs, my legs are bitten up from the infestation and my neck. My roommate said someone was knocking on our door last night and kept knocking so he call Orlando police department. This place was not a great experience.

The room was in okay conditions seemed clean and the beds were soft but the bathroom definitely needs upgrading. I think the bathrooms were clean mostly but had mold and there was a nasty clot of something on the bathroom door not sure was it was but it looked gross. At the beginning of November we stayed at Avanti and it was very filthy but this last stay we were very happy, the rooms were clean and towels as well

The elevator didn't work we got stuck on the elevator. It took about 5 to 8 minutes for the elevator to start back working and go back to the first floor to open the door so we could get out. The area on the outside of the resort in the back where the rooms are they just need to be renovated a little more clean the ice machine only works on the second floor the room was not up to part it was small no table to eat your food just a dresser and couldn't find the trash can that's supposed to be in the bathroom. For the price I paid I think it was not worth it I could have chosen another location that was worth the price that I paid keep in mind this is what's for my daughter 18th birthday.

I found a dirty clothes in the bathroom along with old soap. Been a week And still haven’t received my deposit. Then you have to pay for resort fees for a single pool area with sand. Not It!

The location and price of the hotel is great. there was mold in the bathroom and we noticed they had painted over the mold to hide it. Our door was stuck and we had to use force to open it every time which sucked. the hidden "resort" fees at check in were a bit steep for it being in such need of a revamp, but you get what you pay for .... including those resort fees. Will stay again if the price is right when I go down there.

The shower was broken

Not at all what it looks like from their pictures on this site. Black mold in the bathroom, dated and unkept. Only refresh rooms every 4 days and you have to give them 24 hours notice to even get fresh towels. Absolutely Terrible experience. Will not stay here again.

The room it self could use some improvements, our phone was broken so we felt I’d room service was needed we would have to go to the main lobby, also room service never stopped by at all for towels and the rack for which the towels are placed was coming off the wall, literally came down once on us. The rooms give Motel vibes.

The bathroom was very small and not the cleanest. It was like they cleaned behind the door with a dirty rag. Our tub was spongy feeling when showering like they tried to refinish it but water is under the paint. You could see that they cut corners by painting over the hinges instead of replacing them during renovation. There was major gapping under the door too. The room itself was fine beds were hard for my liking. Staff were pleasant but not a lot of interaction. Everything was tolerable for 3 night stay. We did not use the pool. Food at the bar was good and priced high as expected for Orlando Hotels. Starbucks in the hotel was good too.

The room resembled a rundown Motel 6 where drug users might stay. Nothing was up to date; mold covered the bathroom floor, the mirror was cracked, and the paint was peeling. It was highly unpleasant. I had to leave early during my stay because I started to feel unwell, and I hope to receive my deposit back soon. I would never stay at that hotel again. I want to upload the pictures I took inside the room to show its condition.

The room wasn't clean and I waited on hold for 40 minutes to get help with the TV remote that was not working.

The ac wasn’t working a they never fixed it even after I call them, 24 hours later the ac wasn’t fix, I had to request for a new room at 3am. I had to move everything to the new room halfway asleep. I would not recommend this hotel.

It was amazing i just wish the next time i stay, they put me on the 3rd floor or something like that… I’ll definitely be coming back to Avanti soon..

Is Good

Too loud music in the pool service a mess the elevator doesn’t work properly.

It’s an older building but the rooms have been renovated and is a perfect place to stay if you are not looking for luxury. The pool and bar and restaurants on site are very convenient. I will be returning next time in Orlando.

Rooms are nice. Very clean. Pool area is very nice, kind of a resort feel. Hot tub was always busy so we didn’t use it. Bar pool side is very convenient.

The property is very close to a lot of stores and restaurants, and shopping stores. The hotel shuttle to the theme parks was never on time and had to Lyft/Uber at all times. The hotel charges you a resort fee that was supposedly included with the reservation, plus a room deposit fee that is issued within a week after checking out.

The check-in process was quite slow and could be better organized. The room was clean, but it felt very old and outdated. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable, and there was a noticeable musty smell, as if the room hadn’t been used for a long time. Overall, it was a disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Wonderful place, really made the holiday and would absolutely stay again if I’m in the area - great pool, regular house keeping, comfortable rooms, happy staff.

However, it wasn't a perfect five-star stay for us. We did have a small issue with our room, the sink was clogged and that made it a bit tough to use without it overflowing and the laminated wood flooring was dusty. Also, we requested extra towels and unfortunately, they never arrived before we had to check out. In summary, it's a nice place with a lot of good amenities and a convenient location, just a couple of service hiccups that kept it from being perfect. Still, we had a positive stay overall!

Pool area was nice but staff didn't keep pool towels in stock very well. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Beds are really soft which works for some but not others. The price was fair for the location and amenities and the location was good for Disney, Universal and all the things International Drive has to offer.

Waited too long for check in. Self check in kiosk s weren't working. Check out is at 11:00 but housekeeping open our door around 10:15 . They did apologize but not reason to open door if is not checkout time yet. A bit disappointed this time.

Hotel was not busy so that was nice. Pool towels were not available even after asking to get them. Elevator had a mind of its own. Floor in room, not being carpet, always felt dirty. Shower, while good in size, water got out onto the floor. For the price it was good. I would stay again as it's in the center of I drive.

Our stay was horrific. After coming here with my family for the past 10 years, we've had an experience that will force us to never return here. I'll try to make a long story short: our AC and TV were broken from the moment we checked in. Although the TV is not the biggest issue, having AC in Florida is crucial. We checked in at 11 pm and reported the issue immediately the next morning when we woke after realizing the AC was not kicking on. The hotel staff was rude and gave us the run around from 8am in the morning until 6-7pm at night while we patiently waited for them to fix our AC. We were visiting with my mother and nephew, and although we did not plan to spend the whole trip in the hotel room, we did need a place to wash up, cool down, and relax. We were only staying a weekend, so for this to happen on the first day we got there on Saturday, it put a damper on the entire trip. Finally, after the issue being resolved and more than half the trip spent without AC, the hotel is not willing to compensate us for any of this. As I said in the beginning, we have been coming here for 10 years, and this was a prime spot that our family loved to visit. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here.

This is my 5th time staying at the property. We just love it. It's our go to in Orlando.

Bed was very uncomfortable, air conditioning didn't work, had to change rooms.

Great pool area especially for children. Excellent location to explore International Drive, as its really close to restaurants, icon park etc.

It was very nice here, alot to do around the area that's in walking distance. The elevators were so hot and staying in building 3 facing the highway forget about sleep if your a light sleeper you can hear the traffic all day and night.
